This academy is amazing!!! I've been there for 6 years now and Ms.Jade is such a wonderful teacher. The staff is so much fun to be around. This academy has so much family love with all the dancers. Ms.Inge is the "glue" that keeps the academy on track.

This is our second year at JHHA and my kids love it. The teachers are a kind and patient with all the kids . I deal with Ms Inge Jade’s’s mom, most of the time and she is such a wonderful person she is very straightforward but never rude. Jade’s Hip Hop Academy is a great place.

Is it Like a haunted house with Jades Mother It has good hip hop moves but jades mother gives so much attuide and meanness to everybody. I would give a good review if jades mother was not rude

This dance academy is by far the most exquisite studio that teaches hip hop to the youth. The instructors/staff that teach at this studio take their time with the students to learn each move and better their ability to dance. When students have trouble with the choreography, the instructors practice with them until they can do it no problem. I’ve been a student at the academy for 4 years, it’s taught me a lot more than dance. They teach us to love and respect everyone at the studio as you would your family which in some ways we are. They teach us how to act professional and give multiple opportunities for us to shine.

My grandaughter attneds this studio. She loves going every Monday and Tuesday she has so much fun. she has been there for about 9 or 8 and she loves it there her friends and some of her family goes there to and they love it there to. and she loves the staff .

Beautiful studio! They are taking amazing health precautions right now. As a parent it was an easy decision that this is a studio I will trust with my child. It's only been 2 weeks but she is very happy to be a part of the academy. I can't wait so see how far she is going to come by the end of the program.

This is my 4th year as a dancer here. I have been in competitive for 3 years. Everyone there including teachers have not only taught me to be a better dancer but also a better person. Everyone there is great there is no negative energy. It is like my second home. I love going there and being part of the JHHA family :)

Jades Hip Hop Academy is a great studio. I have been dancing here for about 8 years now, and there are so many different and fun opportunities that take place here that you wouldnt find at any other studio. Ms. Jade and Ms. Igne truly care for all the dancers here and want to see us all succeed. We all treat eachother like family, respect one another, and have lots of fun doing what we love. I have learned so much about hip hop dance, and would 100% recommend this studio to anyone who is interested in true hip hop.

HORRIBLE. I can't say the dance instruction is bad as it isn't, but everything else about this studio was awful. They aren't prepared for what can come with working with really young kids, their communication can be very unprofessional, and the clique situation with the competitive kids vs. the recreational dancers is something that comes from the top-down and is not a pleasant environment for anyone but those in the "select" group. Administrator is downright nasty at times and studio owner is very clearly most interested in her own self-promotion. Very unfortunate as we looked forward to being here for many years and had to cut that abruptly short.

Jades mother who sits at the front when you go in is in no way a people person and definitely needs to learn how to speak to people without giving attitude. Shes gives a bad first impression when you bring your child there. Jade on the flip side is the complete opposite. Even my child said that jade is a very nice person. My overall rating is solely based on the rudeness of jades mother and not the actual facility. She should be replaced as the first person that you meet when you get there in my opinion. Also forget about emailing them you'll never get a reply.

Going to This studio is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I’ve met so many supportive and talented friends that helped me when i struggled. The opportunities you get like performing at raptors halftimes are honestly such an amazing experience. I’ve become more confident in my dancing ability and this studio pushes me to keep improving. My daughter is been dancing at this place for the past 3 years and she started from Recreational to Pre comp and now she compete with all best Dancers in Toronto. Nothing but love at this Place. “ we’re Family at JHHA” from the owner, to all dance instructors and the Parents. I was also once a Choreographer when i was younger thats why i know JHHA is one of the best. I also notice that your making all this reviews on different Dance Studios. lol! This place is amazing I have only danced here for two years but I love it. There dances are amazing, my peers are amazing and everyone is friendly. I love how miss. Jades goal is for the kids the have fun and do there best. The little kids come in my class to show there dance and they love there dance. They love dancing too. The staff is amazing and all of there priorities are for the kids to be having fun and trying there best. I highly recommend this studio

My daughter has been attending JHHA going into her 5th year now. She has worked very hard and loves it so much here ????! She wishes to continue to reach the top and this goal gets closer each year. Jade is not just a dance teacher. She is a great role model for these kids. She teaches them commitment, responsibility, team work, dependability, work ethic. She pushes them be their best and believe in them even when they don’t believe in themselves. Most importantly this is a family here! Everyone supports each other like family. The kids are all friends. Parents are fantastic supports to help everyone reach their potentials. They learn life lessons here. There are rules and It’s not a free ride....it’s earned ( and this is exactly what kids need to learn these days). The kids at the top earned the right for that recognition/status ( no my daughter is not at the top). Jades mom is a lovely person. I enjoy chatting with her often and she’s easy to talk to. They both treat all the kids as their own. Trust me these kids work their touchies off for their awards and Jade always rewards their hard work with exciting things. It never goes unnoticed. Jade is wonderful!!!???? I appreciate her so much.

Great school awsome people heres the problem they invite us to watch our kid dance on stage, they get the kids ready for months just to have the dance instructor on stage block your child the whole time. I missed my sons entire performance i feel the instructor could have placed the kids better but hey watever right.

I have been bringing my son to Jades Hip Hop Academy for the last three years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about them. Jade, all of the instructors and Jades mom Miss Inge are always amazing to both myself and my son. Over the last three years I have developed an amazing friendship with Miss Inge and she is one of the nicest people I have ever met so it's shocking to see all of these negative reviews about her. Miss Inge has an honest personality and is straight to the point. She shows the qualities of a leader and is able to take charge of a situation. My son tells me all the time that miss Inge is strict but fair and honestly that is the exact kind of person I would trust my child too. Keep up the amazing work JHHA!! My son looks forward to each and every class with you guys and this is the one place that I haven't had to drag him too for a lesson so that shows me that they are doing something right.

BEWARE, this place is terrible. Do not take your kids there. Words cannot describe how horrible Jade's mother is. She is the one who sits at the front desk. She is unprofessional and extremely rude and difficult to deal with. On many occasions my child was crying as a result of her conduct. When I confronted her she was rude and started off the converstation by saying "look lady.." that is very unprofessional way to speak to someone. The dance instruction is terrible and waste of time. The kids learn simple dance moves they can learn at home. The end of the year performance at the theatre is nothing to look forward to since my child was at the back and I couldn't see him at all. At the very least, the kids should be rotating so everyone gets a chance but seem they play favourites and only choose who they want in the front. Emails get ignored. Save your money and go somewhere else unless you want to deal with the nasty mother.

Sweet kids, questionable knowledge in terms of hip-hop knowledge and curriculum. The instructors are nice people, just in terms of the dance, I am not sure how educated they are in the history of hip hop dance after watching the instructors themselves dance.

This place is beyond horrible. Jade's mother is the worst person to deal with. She has so much attitude and enjoys scolding people as if we're children in the principal's office. Dance instruction is nothing to rave about. Very simple and dance moves that doesn't require any skill. The final performance at the end of year is nothing to look forward to because you won't be able to see your kid, most likely they will be pushed to the back and the favourites go right in the front. There are so much better dance companies out there. Don't waste your money.

My daughter had the best experience! It was quite challenging due to covid but Jade still delivered exceptional hiphop routines even though teaching mostly has been set up online. They have amazing studio, staff, and teachers and they are very Professional!

I have never personal been here. But to reas the reviews all saying the same thing. Especially when you're dealing with peoples kids. Plus... I have not seen one response from the Dancing School. I wouldn't recommend it.

My son is in the 3-5 yrs hip hop class and loves his teacher Ms. Maya. Jade is great and makes sure to teach the kids not only dance, but keeps them in line with respect. My son has ADHD and can be a handful at times. While he has been sent on time out twice since Sept: She and her staff are never mean to him which I appreciate. I'm hoping he will be able to make the competitive team in 2 years when hes eligible to try out ????????????????????????.
