We Have been part of the Jdanse family for the last four years, since our daughter was 2. The instructors and owners create an environment where the children are taught confidence and given the personal attention required to succeed. The Studio is one that perpetuates a family atmosphere, creating comfort. With a demanding work schedule we have no reservation leaving our daughter at the studio under the watchful eyes of the instructors and owners. Dance has become a focal point in the life of our daughter and there is no place we would rather have her attend. At Jdanse it goes beyond student teacher relations it truly is a family. We love you Jdanse Studios

I have been a teacher at this studio for the past two years and can honestly say that the Director and Manager of the studio do their absolute best to continue to improve the studio both in renovations, classes offered, teachers provided, etc. It's a positive environment where the teacher to student relationship is one where the students feel supported and invested in by their teachers. Smaller class sizes offer students the one on one attention they need to grow and improve and the younger students classes have multiple teachers for proper class management. I would highly recommend this studio to any family looking for a safe, positive, attention to detail studio for their child to learn the art of dance.

Amanda choreographed our first dance for our wedding and she did an amazing job! She was patient with us (we didn't know how to dance at all) and had very good pointers to make our dance wonderful. We didn't think we could do the routine she had in mind, but after 6sessions with her we felt really confident. All of our guests loved the dance, making it one of the highlights of our wedding. I have been dancing at this studio for three years now, and I am proud to say it has become my second home. The staff, and students at the studio are all so kind. Ever since I came to this studio I have made so many great friends, and I have learned so many new dance moves. I have tried out so many new dance styles as well. I'm am very thankful that JDS is offering online dance classes, activties, and challenges during this pandemic, it has been giving me something to look forward to every day, and has kept me active! My kids enjoy coming here every week! Miss Janie, George & staff are amazing, welcoming & treat the kids as their own! Classes are wonderful, my kids are loving the online ones during this time! J'Danse Studio is a place that I look forward to coming to every week. I get to participate in all the styles of dance which I love and hang out with friends at the same time. The instructors there care about all of their students and make the studio feel like a second home to all of us. They continuously inspire us with their commitment, devotion and creativity as well as encourage us to grow in our passion for dance.

The J'Danse Studio is an amazing space, complete with mirrors and nice floors, it truly is a great space for not only dancing, but also for other events. I've used the space for dance practice for an upcoming recital and it has been so useful for my rehearsals. I had also used the studio for a dance photoshoot and it went so smoothly because it's super well kept, and it's very spacious. Not only that but dressing rooms were also a great bonus.

I’ve been a dancer at JDS since it’s first year opening and can say confidently say that this is a great environment to dance in. The staff are kind and encouraging and all dancers are treated with respect. Everyone gets the attention they deserve to do better with regards to their technical abilities and grow overall as dancers. I’ve recommended this studio to many people and they have all had very similar, positive experiences!

This business doesn’t even deserve one star. You would think during these unprecedented times they would be much more understanding. As you may know, non-essential businesses have been closed down since March 24th due to covid-19. Obviously, J’Danse Studio was one of those businesses. Why is it though that customers still have to pay for a service they are not receiving? Not to mention, the amount of people who are struggling during these times. People are struggling to put food on the table but J’Danse Studio will continue to bill for a service that was not provided. It’s so unethical beyond means. They are offering a virtual service as an alternative but they don’t care to see if everyone has access to internet or even a good computer. So what do they do, continue to bill. They do not care about anyone’s personal circumstances during these times, which causes me a great concern on how ethical these people are. I wouldn’t want my hard working money to go towards a business that seems a bit greedy. Goodlife and other big chain gyms put a hold from billing customers during these times. And still provide online services, for no charge. Hard times like these really reveal the true intention behind a company’s morals. I don’t want to express myself too much or I might get a letter from their lawyer telling me to take down my review. My review is relevant because its based on people’s experience, that I personally know, who’ve had their child dance here. You may not know my name but that doesn’t mean my review is unreal or misleading in anyway. We have a freedom to speak about our experiences and because I don’t like the way you manage your business. REVIEW UPDATE: as of June 26, 2020 I’m updating my review, as the owners keep responding with information that is unacceptable. Why does it matter that I’m Justin’s sister? I based my review on people I personally know that has had a very bad experience with your business. I’m allowed to express my opinion, its called a REVIEW, whether you agree with my opinion, OR NOT. Also, why would you share this personal information to people? Whether I’m the sister, or sister-in-law, it does NOT MATTER. Your response to this ad is extremely UNPROFESSIONAL. Let me make something VERY CLEAR, I do not care what you told my brother, as I still stand behind my earlier review. I do not like the way you handle your business, that is my opinion, my review, my RIGHT. I just want people to hear our experience. Please note, the owner has taken down a lot of the information in these replies, however, I've kept screen shots. This may be the reason why my replies don't make much sense. UPDATE as of July 10, 2020: I would like to clarify, for those who seek honest and truthful reviews. I decided to place my review here to share the experience of others that I personally know, who had placed their child here to dance. If you read my above original review, it did not state anything regarding the way they teach dance. I did not dwell on this factor, as it is not the main cause of my review. I would like others to know how they handled their business during covid-19. This review is strictly on this matter. J'Danse is a wonderful dance school which caters to dancers of all ages. It is a welcoming environment with a large space for students to dance in. When the COVID-19 pandemic happened, J'Danse worked hard to create a program for all of their students to be able to dance at home. Their in-studio and online classes are very professional and easy to access! Would recommend for anyone who's new to the dancing scene or wants to improve and build upon their current knowledge. A+

Both my daughter and son dance at J'Danse Studio. My daughter started attending classes with the studio around 5 years ago. My son joined in the last year as he saw how much fun his sister was having. The dance teachers have been consistently excellent and also make the classes lots of fun. I can recommend the studio.

Very sad during these times with job losses and financial insecurity businesses continue to take fees for classes that are no longer in session. The owner has given us many issues from the beginning as we signed up with a friend and were promised despite their different ages they could be in a class together. this was not the case once classes began we were pressured to have our daughter in a class that was specific to her age. we could not have conversations with the owner as she was never in studio in the evening and when asked if she could come on an evening our child was there she did not respond. They took money from our account and expected full fees when there is no in studio classes, we did not get a recital costume and was not consulted in moving forward with online instruction. these are not the terms we agreed to and it seems like bad business practice the way they are moving forward during this time. Wonderful family oriented studio. Our child's confidence has soared in her 6 years here. They have been very accommodating during the pandemic deferring fees and working with us with competition payments that are out of their control. They go above and beyond helping children become the best the they can be, as dancers and in real life. A great choice

They continued to charge me during the pandemic (last installment) even when classes had gone virtual and my kid didn’t attend. She lost interest, she tried to log on for a class but it wasn’t the same as in class learning. Will never go back or recommend to anyone I know.
