I began taking classes at Bollywood Dance School Canada during the lockdown. The entire team made it so much easier to deal with the covid blues. I was able to learn a variety of genres by instructors that are so passionate about dancing and really care for the growth and happiness of their students. Through the academy, I’ve made some amazing friends that I will cherish for life! Thank you for the amazing experience and forever thankful for my BDS family ❤️

I love these classes, they are a great stress buster. They offer a wide range of styles you can explore as a dancer. All the instructors are very professional, encouraging and supportive. I recommend these classes for dancers at any level, there is something for everyone, must try!

LOVE BDS! The manager of bds has been my role model for almost 7 years now and I absolutely love all the styles, and each and every instructor as well They all have their different styles and way that they teach <3 Every class is so fun and I feel like I can dance my heart out in BDS, definitely suggest, try it out, and maybe you will even like it a lot to come back again :) !

I love that we are always pushed to try new styles (that I never realized I would enjoy so much). The BDS team has amazing instructors who make the learning experience both educational and enjoyable. It's more than just learning dance from someone through a screen, the atmosphere of BDS, even when it's online, is a safe space to express yourself through dance and challenge yourself to be better. To me, dance was a way to express myself without being judged. Having found Bollywood Dance School (BDS) Canada has allowed me to express myself openly and not be ashamed of it. With everything close, I needed to find another outlet outside of sports. I luckily ran into the BDS Canada IG page and was instantly drawn to the energy I felt. I tried my first online dance class way back in March, and never looked back. Every instructor had their own style and personality but always kept an excellent level of professionalism. It did not matter the level of experience you entered with as it's guaranteed that you'll learn something new and improve over time. I never felt like a customer, but rather, a family member. We dance together, we sweat together, and we even do fun videos together. Things I never thought I'd ever do, I'm doing now because my BDS family has made that possible. I'm never one for writing reviews but for this one, I will. Even though I haven't been part of the BDS family for years, they make me feel welcome and appreciated.

We have done three sessions with my 5 year old daughter who has not had much interest in Bollywood music or dance. Her experience with BDS has opened her interest to music and dance. She is recognizing songs she has performed to in class and is starting to follow her routines. We were able to take advantage of the online class given that we do not reside in Ontario. The teachers are fun, engaging, thorough and very professional!

I started with BDS Canada during the lockdown in Canada. I came across their IG page and registered for their free online workshop. I had not attended a dance class in over 3 years and it was evident that I had lost touch with that part of me. But rather than feeling like a failure, I felt more encouraged to join their other free workshops - and that only happened because of how welcomed the team made me feel. I can honestly say BDS Canada gave me my second chance at dance! Traditionally, dance companies teach you choreographies - you learn the steps, you performance once and you're done. But here, the team teaches you different techniques, expands your knowledge regarding different genres in dance and promotes your personal growth in addition to choreographies. They provide you feedback when you send them videos of your practice (beyond class hours) and help you progress. The BDS Intensive Training program invites external teachers to help YOU experiment with other dances and find yourself. I am in Singapore now and still drop in for different classes! I am absolutely enjoying it and still learning so much! One of the best decisions I've made!

My daughter absolutely loves attending class and along with Harleen, Samira is her favourite instructor too. The dance classes have become a routine for my daughter and she’s learned so much over the last year. Each class they learn amazing routines and also learn the dancing terminology as well.
