The dancing was fun at first, but eventually the environment became toxic, ex. One of the teachers bad mouthed a group of her students to an older student who then proceeded to tell her whole class about it whilst one of the girls she was talking about heard her, this girl proceeded to tell her class about what this student had done and what that teacher had said but the older dancer decided to guilt trip the girl into begging her friends to not tell the artistic director of the school, eventually it worked but after that the environment was not the same anymore and the teacher once went from someone we loved to have around to a teacher we despised and felt superbly uncomfortable around, when she made jokes we didn't laugh anymore, we felt so unhappy around her but we all kept our mouths shut and now that teacher is still there and I believe since I decided to leave around 5 others have joined me, I talked to some of them and the majority answer to their leaving was that they missed their old studio, their family, and the good environment that left them with a smile on their face. When the school can see an issue plain as day they should do something about it like talk to the students in private, whenever the artistic director tried talking to me 1 of 2 of the people that ruined my experience there was always around. To end I think this school is great for dancing but on the scale of being somewhere I felt safe and happy it did poorly, thinking about it now I wish I had done something there and not been scared of those 2 people.
