My children have been at Dancefusion for years. The teachers are knowledgeable and caring. They want their dancers to succeed while ensuring they are given a solid foundation of proper dance technique. The owner works hard especially at festival time to help her dancers have a positive experience. I am grateful for the confidence and encouragement Dancefusion has given my children.

Dance fusion gas a fantastic space with multiple studio sizes. There is a wide array of classes offered there, including yoga! The instructors and front-end staff are fantastic, and it's number one in my eyes compared to other studios!

My daughter started dancing here in their power program recently, and we have been welcomed like family. Mary Ann is very knowledgable and sweet. The teachers a really well rounded group with diverse backgrounds and skills. When I asked around, everyone agreed this is the best place to dance in Sherwood Park. The ladies at the front desk have all been very helpful and friendly too. There is a homework room for the dancers to use, and also a large dressing room with cubbies for their belongings. There are multiple dance studios. Some of them look better than others (I sort of remember one has a coloured tile floor) There is plenty of parking, and the waiting room overlooks the parking lot so kids can see from upstairs when their parents arrive. I will update at year end, but everything seems really great so far. Looking forward to a great year! Update: My daughter did have a fantastic year of dance and even though you go to competitions to simply do your best it’s a lot more fun when you win right? Ha ha you can’t know what the adjudicators will do but this season she was awarded first and second place cash prizes for her solos and also got a scholarship to NY. This type of success is not possible without strong technique being taught by her awesome teachers at Dancefusion!

I’ve been welcomed into the studio very well. I currently take the the ‘Teen’ classes, and the teachers I had/still have have been incredibly caring. They have pushed me and encouraged me to do my best and to work harder. DanceFusion is an amazing studio!

Dancefusion was the place where I developed my foundation as an artist and performer. This development has lead to me becoming a successful independent producer, director and performer in Vancouver, BC, where I've founded two dance companies and have performed across the world. Dancefusion is by far the best facility for dance in Sherwood Park with multiple large and well-maintained studios. These studios are filled with professional and diversely skilled teachers that offer everything from high-level ballet to breakdancing. I have been dancing for over 20 years, first as a student, then as an auditioning professional. I have been teaching dance since 2006 and have seen many different dance studio facilities across western Canada. I was able to teach at Dancefusion two summers ago, and have witnessed the staff in action at recital and through some fun studio events. This studio is amazing. The large spaces for the students to hang out in, eat in, change in and most importantly dance in, are just awesome. The staff are friendly and extremely professional, coming up with really creative performances and helping students to gain important fundamental techniques in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, acro and so much more.

Firstly, this dance school is very messy and disorganized; the stairwell leading up to the school is very small, you can barely get upstairs if people are coming downstairs; the office space is cluttered; and the waiting area for parents/children is untidy and poorly laid out, and has very little seating for the capacity of people who were there. My 3 year old daughter was signed up in the mini ballet class and attended her first class. During that class a table FELL on one of the other children!!! The child left the class crying and screaming and went home with their parent. The teachers did not even inform the owner as to what happened as I had to tell the owner myself!! And ironically enough, the owner previously said to me that I was not allowed to watch the dance class to take pictures and ended up kicking me out of the very FIRST class. She said it is an un-parented class and the door will be closed but there were NO windows to even watch the class. Remember, this is my 3 year old daughter who was being shut in a room with 3 teachers that I was never introduced to and who let a table fall on one of the other children during the class!!! So, if you are a parent that enjoys watching their 3 year old children dance, DO NOT go here as you will be told just as I was that I am not "allowed" to watch!!! Ps the owner did not even show me any of her policies stating that parents are not allowed to watch the dance classes....a very dishonest person!

I am now in my thirteenth year at Dancefusion and I would highly recommend this studio. The teachers are all very knowledgeable and you can tell they all want the best for every student. They are all very skilled in their art and the range of disciplines offered allows students to explore so many aspects of dance. The studio is great at communication, with monthly newsletters, a daily updated bulletin, and a parent portal where you can access any important information online. Everything is very well organized, and the office staff are always very helpful. Even at competition time when there is so much going on, everyone is always well taken care of. If you are looking for anything, from a fun recreational class to a high level ballet class, Dancefusion is the place to find it.
