It’s a very nice environment, my daughter has been attending since she was 3, she started the short term program and moved over to long term and she loves the drive and motivation she gets from performing. I took a star because I hated the fact that my daughter was unable to attend something and I was unable to get a refund or transfer to account of that money , but it is a very nice place, lovely staff and decent area. Keep up the good work

Absolutely love dance theme! We have just registered our 2 year old for our 3rd round of Baby Stars! Such an awesome welcoming place to introduce dance to our little ones life! The front end staff are so kind and helpful - especially through covid they’ve done an amazing job. Miss Katie is fab with the kids!

This year is our 10th year at Dance Theme. The girls have made best friends at Dance Theme and so have I. The teachers are the best of the best We love being part of the Dance Theme Family and can not wait for this year to start. The opportunity's at this studio are endless. My girls started in Mini stars and are now part of the company program. And no matter what level we were at my kids had amazing teachers. I can not thank Shari enough for the training my girls receive at Dance Theme.

I enrolled my 3 yo daughter in the short summer mini stars program, with the plan to enroll her in the fall of it went well. The website posting says is "is designed to instill the love of dance in children by teaching them in a fun and positive environment." Unfortunately the environment was not very positive. There was excessive focus on getting kids to listen and perform without any coaching or help for kids who have not been in a formal learning environment before. My daughter listened well, but she was uncomfortable with some of the comments from the teacher "you guys are killing me!" Etc. She got quite anxious about going to class and we contemplated not finishing the 6 week program. The teacher placed developmentally unrealistic expectations on the small children, many of whom I'm sure had not done that kind of program before. It's normal for a 3 yo's attention to wander and come back. Honestly I thought it would be a fun, learning different ways to move your body to music, experience that would get my child excited about dance, but it left a bad taste in my mouth and left my daughter anxious and uncomfortable. I have since talked to another parent from the same class who had similar concerns. We won't be going back for the fall program.
