3 people behind the cashiers counter, and I have bern waiting 20 minutes! Including the person who helped us which took 25 minutes to bring. For a shoe I waited 45 minutes. If it will take this long why does Nike have 100s of people working in the store. I am sure if they had a manager who was looking at things going on, this store would make people at lesdt happy once they buy something!

Just got off the phone with a Nike employee named Brett and a Nike manager named Marie C (I might have her name wrong). I purchased limited edition Nike joyride running shoes and when I purchased the item less than a year ago I immediately had problems with the left shoe. I was told upon purchase that joyride shoes need to be broken in and the beads will eventually conform to your foot. That never happened and to this day my left joyride shoe is very uncomfortable since the beads in the middle keep bunching up. It feels like I have a rock in my shoe when I am running. I was able to ask many questions and get alot of helpful info from both Nike employees. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to get a pair of shoes that will be perfect for what you need

Incredibly disappointed with Nike. I bought a pair of shoes that ended up being incredibly painful to wear. Not to mention the poor craftsmanship with discoloured laces. I understand employees have to follow store rules so my complaint is against Nike Corp and the store owners (this is a third party store). The issues I have is the return policy is embarrassing, Nike produces overpriced low quality products, and the lack of organization. I called to see if I could exchange or return and they said to bring it by. I was denied service in store. If I was told on the phone that it was store policy to not accept used returns I wouldn’t be so disappointed. TLDR bad polices, not organized, and quality control issues.

Today I was forced out the Nike Yorkdale store because I didn’t purchase anything there. Since when was that a rule? She told me that she was going to ban me because I didn’t provide any business for them. I think that is absurd and really unfair. This was extremely disappointing and I felt very disrespected when I had done nothing wrong. I absolutely do not recommend coming here at all, unless you want to get to get harassed by the employees here.

This Nike branch in Yorkdale was really a hoot! I came in with the expectation of buying these really popular shoes for my daughter and unfortunately they were sold out. But the sales associate, who had very fun and bubbly workers, specially fiona, helped me with choosing a size and even showing me alternative shoe designs. She gave me a little insight on the style of the shoes and told me what shoe would be a better fit for my daughters needs. She was absolutely lovely and my daughter loved the shoes. Will definitely pop by again for the nice, warm and welcoming environment!

Store is designed nice and has a cool vibe employees are chill the only thing that i don’t like is the music, I’ve been in a couple times and hear the same songs playing, I feel bad for the employees having to listen to that the whole time. The old nike had some good throwback tunes, if they change the music I’m sure the store will do much better

I usually am not the person who comment on my experiences, however when something great happened it really needs to be noted Came on the most busiest day of the year (my bad) pair of men's shoes for my son. Immediately was greeted with a kind and very positive professional sales associate named Matt. He immediately listened to our needs addressed them. Made a suggestion in a confident and professional manner. Even with the craziness going on he made us felt welcome. His personality calm, easy going approach really is a assist. The outfit collection in this store is very nice. However, the cashier served me might forget to take off one magnetic lock from the coat I purchased yesterday. As a result, I struggle to take out the lock right now since I live far away from this store, which is less likely for me fix this issue asap by revisiting the store.

I called The Nike flagship store at Yorkdale to inquire about an item that I wanted. They said they had it so I asked to put it on hold but I could only hold it for an hour instead until the end of the day.(really strange to do that if someone calls to pick up an item). I knew I wasn’t going to rush to buy a pair of shoes especially after just coming back from a communist country. I arrived at the mall a few hour’s later and was told after waiting at the register for 15-20 min that they couldn’t find it so they must have sold it. I then went upstairs myself to see if they had it or something similar. I found the shoe in a smaller size and asked if they had it in my size. Nolan; the sales rep who was helping me checked his phone and the back to see if it was there and unfortunately couldn’t find it. He then showed me an option I wasn’t too interested in but his customer service was good so I reluctantly agreed to try the shoes on in my size. He came back with both the shoe he recommended and the one I spent 15 minutes trying to get downstairs. I was able to try them on and happily leave with what I wanted. As someone who also works retal; appreciated the extra effort by Nolan to be through with his job. Overall all the staff a great and very friendly but it’s a very busy store so be sure to leave no stone unturned and be sure to do your own research as this could’ve easy been a nightmare on my first visit to the store. I’ll be looking for Nolan every time I visit if he’s available to help me.

Derek knows Nike like crazy (even all the special releases and back-story and what's "in") and how to find exactly what YOU need; it was a breeze working with him. Not impressed with the lecture, though the professor tried his best. There were 2 seperate short lines at the gate, and we were confused where to go. The employee was letting people in, I waited after he spoke to say excuse me (he was still directing people but at the time his mouth was SHUT, I'll explain why this is important). He reasonably told me to wait because he said he was speaking. Then another female employee told us which line, out of the 2 same short line, to line up for. When it was our turn, the guy spoke again and said "I was speaking, you gotta let people finish", which reasonably is what every customer should be told before entering a Nike store because who has parents. I didn't buy anything but the education I received was worthless, I mean priceless. So your employee created a confusion at the gate, to make people confused but not to offer directions, so that people can get confused to receive a free lecture of life, but teaching people to learn to respect with the most disrespectful manner might be counter-productive.

Nike yorkdale is overall really good and well made, there’s employees everywhere for when you need help. The only downside is the employees who are constantly asking if we’re okay, you know a couple times is good but when your asking a customer that question more than 5 times in under a minute than it’s tough for us to shop. Besides that it’s pretty good, employees in the women fitting room are well trained and are fun to talk to. Nice selection too ????????

The store staff at this location require better education on how to actually service customers. After calling inquiring about an exchange, the associate said nothing can be done because I don’t have a receipt. Called the Fairview mall location and received amazing service over the phone and was told to contact the warranty department.

The most ill mannered employee in history! I ordered a pair of shoes to be transferred from Scarb Town Centre over to Yorkdale SC. Was told by an associate I purchased it from it would arrive in 2 business day which was a lie from the pit of hell. Firstly, an associate called on the 2nd business day to tell me the shoe arrived. Immediately calls back and says ooops wrong person, you have to wait longer. The next business day, still no arrival and was told the next day which was another lie. I asked what was the delay. She says shes not sure but it will come soon. I asked to speak to the manager and was told I cant speak to her because she was busy. I then asked who was the district manager she did not know the name to that individual and was unaware of how I could get in touch with that person but he will be there tomorrow. I then asked for the head office location and telephone at which point I was put on hold for 12 minutes and 55 seconds without having her come back to the call. I disconnected the call and attempted to call them back numerous times before they actually answered the call. All she had to say for herself was sorry about that when I asked her why she didnt come back to the call. She came back and said the head office is located at 200 Wellington St. When I asked her what floor she didnt know and suggested that I "go there" I told her that 200 Wellington is a huge sky scraper. The people they hire for such a huge organization is REDONCULOUS. The customer service is beyond my mind...My 5 year old could do a better job than this uneducated person I had to deal with today. Clearly, she is in the wrong profession. I hope nike can take an extra bit of time on training their future staff on better cutomer service and how they communicate with their customers. I most definitely will not be making anymore purchases for Nike Yorkdale.

I came in to buy my boyfriend a tracksuit and my sale associate Ahsan was amazing! he went above and beyond to help me find the right colour and size and even made great recommendations. Two cashiers for 20 people waiting to be cashed out, that’s really unacceptable. There was at least 7 associates behind cash, chit chatting knowing that they had a huge line up. They did not have any intentions to clean the line up. They have to understand that now they do not only offer product for adult but also for kids. The customer service that they provide for adults, it’s not the same for families with toddlers. I like Nike but the service at cash in this new location was awful.

Not sure why people are complaining in the reviews? I've been to this store about 5 times since grand opening last week and my experience has been incredible everytime. People need to understand its the first week of this store being open so naturally employees are going to be swamped. Selection is great whether it's lifestyle, fitness or retroes, there's something for everyone. I've had the pleasure of being able to interact with one of the managers, Elaine and Jason to be more specific and they both helped make the customer experience my favourite at any Nike store. I will definitely be returning on a regular basis as Nike has knocked it out of the park with this one.

The when I went in the next day I felt like the associates were avoiding me because they saw that I had a Nike bag with a return it in my hand. When somebody finally helped me it was awkwardish. I bought training shoes and for the first time use sketched my foot and make wounded. I returned in in 2 weeks, the policy is 1 month! And they avoid to return it! Store is great and it has a cool ambiance. The only negative is the customer service. I find them rude and not helpful as I tried asking for help but they seemed to ignore me. At first, I thought maybe the guy was just having a bad day but there's no way every staff were having a bad day. The staff were busy chit chatting instead of helping out people and it was a busy time. To add on, staff at the checkout aren't friendly, they just check out your items and that's it. No hi and hello, how are you, nor thank you. I think they need to train and teach their employees what good customer service means.

First, let me start by saying that we never feel compelled to write reviews online, but in this case, my son and I felt like it was warranted. Marie C is an absolute rock star! We can't overstate how amazing she has been. Dealing with her has been one of the best customer service experiences we've ever had in retail. First, when we called looking for limited edition Air Force 1's, she was quick to check inventory in her own store (Yorkdale). After a brief hold, she informed us that they were all sold out, but without prompting, she checked stock at other locations. She quickly came back to us indicating that Markville was showing one pair left in my son's size. Instead of suggesting that we call the store directly (like most reps would), she offered to call the store for us to verify their stock. At this point, it was late on a Saturday evening, and we realized that Markville was already closed. Instead of waiting until the next day, Marie called us back that same night to let us know the store was closed, and promised that she would get back to us the next morning. Without fail, Marie called back on the Sunday, confirming that the shoe was indeed at Markville. She gave us the option of visiting her store to make the purchase, and have the shoe shipped to our home. She also gave us an alternative option of visiting the Markville store directly to purchase in store. We live in the east end of the city, so Markville was more convenient. Marie proactively connected with the Markville store manager (Jasmine - who was also great by the way), to give her a heads up that we were on our way. After making the purchase, Marie contacted us again just to make sure that everything worked out. It was just amazing to deal with someone that takes so much pride in her work, and clearly strives to deliver the highest level of customer service. She really went above and beyond. There are many places to buy shoes, but after this experience, we will only ever shop at the Nike store going forward. Marie and Jasmine have converted two customers for life. My son is so happy to have tracked down these rare editions, and it's all thanks to Marie C.

One of the best shopping experience I had so far, made a phone call for an inventory check for the zoom X Invincible and the staff made it very easy, find what I was looking for and helped with the online payment. Shout out to Jinky, she is just an awesome person with an excellent level of customer service, she sent me a picture of the shoe I ordered so I feel confident with my order, also send me updates on the store line up, offered me the curbside pickup, which I preferred to try it on in the store where she visited me with a great attitude to inquire how is the shoe and if I like it. Big Shout out to Ziv! I went into the Yorkdale Nike store this morning to look at shoes. The Sales Associate (Athlete), Ziv was there to help me and guide me with my shoe selection, inform me about the technology and guide me on the fit. When I mentioned that I wanted to start running again in the Spring he then hand picked out running apparel suggestions for me in my size, while explaining the fit, benefit and the technology of each one. I ended up buying everything that Ziv had suggested, even the shoe cleaner. I came home and I went out for my first run of the season that afternoon. I couldn’t be more happy with the service and attention that Ziv gave me. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends. He gave me great customer service. And a shout out to his Manager (Coach), Jennifer, who had made me feel welcome and helped to complete the excellent shopping experience.

Was here for the grand opening and the service was absolutely terrible. Being one of the first people in the store I watched people get 6 different shoes before I was even able to obtain one. Me and my wife experienced one of the worst customer service in our life. The guy named Moe didn't help us at all and kept us waiting for 30 minutes for nothing. We asked him to bring 2 shoes together, and he brought only one and said "I can bring only one at a time", I'll bring other one soon. But he never did. He acted like he didn't see us, we were invisible for him. He and other employees were bringing to other customers 3-4 shoes together, despite they came to the store after us. We asked store manager to help us, and she talked with someone and after 10minutes we finally got shoes.

He makes sure everyone is socially distanced in order for him to proceed with the formation of the customers. He asks people and make sure that the size for the ticket they need is accurate and the one they want. Really professional to talk to which is why whenever he handles the drop I always feel safe and comfortable to shop around the store.

The service here was absolutely amazing. This associate named Bill was extremely helpful and quick. I cannot begin to explain the excellent service that he provided. He answered all my questions, got all my sizes from the back and from the floor, and helped me when trying on the wind breaker that I later bought, and loosened up the laces for my shoes. There was an issue with the wind breaker as it had a little stain and he told me how to clean it, and gave me an additional 10% off. Every time I needed something he was quick to assist me, answer all my questions and smile. I left the store super super satisfied and extremely happy. I definitely will recommend this store to my friends and family as the service I received from Bill alone, was absolutely remarkable.

I came in August 21st with my boyfriend and we had a great experience overall! There was a wide selection especially for women and most of the staff were amazing from the outside of the store to the changerooms. I do have to mention, however, that the girls at the cash wrap were not as pleasant and attentive as the rest of the staff. They barely greeted us and were busy chatting with each other while cashing us out - so much so that they forgot to put my complementary gift in the bag. I believe the name of the associate who cashed me out was Ashle. I understand it was the first Saturday that the store was open, but as a sales associate myself it was very disappointing to have had an incredible customer experience up until checkout. Still giving the location 5 stars as an associate named Cody quickly resolved the issue over the phone. Looking forward to my next visit at this location!

I bought one shoes here but I didn’t like it after I had been wearing it for one hour. I felt uncomfortable of my ankles wearing the shoes. So I came back to the store to return it. The staff said they cannot process the return without the shoe box. I told them I lost it but I was willing to pay for one box in order to return it. They said they don’t have the same box and there’s nothing they can do. I just bought one pair of shoes I don’t like and I cannot return it anyway even thought the shoes are not worn out. The manager also didn’t find any way to help me out. Never ever ever ever come to visit this store.

I was injured and so I’m slowly getting back to working out again and eventually over time, I’m planning on increasing the intensity of my work outs so I can get my black belt in Tae Kwon do. Normally I buy my own shoes but I needed guidance. Raushon helped me immensely! He took the time to listen to my needs and immediately got me the proper training shoes that I needed. He has superior product knowledge and took a lot of time explaining the different pros and cons of the shoes I was interested in. I saw Nike had a new flagship in Toronto and just had to pay them a visit. The store is very spacious and has ample selection of different types of apparel for different sports. I bought a pair of Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low which was a surprising find as they are kind of a limited stock item.

During Covid lockdown, the Nike store offered a special service for Christmas shopping. I was designated a personal shopper named Bill. We communicated via text. Bill spent the time with me, was able to find the correct size and made valuable suggestions. When done, he emailed me a secure link to make payment. I could have had it delivered; however, I chose to pick up at the Yorkdale store. When I arrived, , Bill was there to greet me (social distancing, of course). We are regular customers at Nike store, but this location gave us the best experience ever. They fixed our problem which was originally caused from a third party Nike store at Fairview mall that ruined it for our anniversary experience. I called the Yorkdale store first and explained our situation over the phone to “Kateland” hoping to resolve the issue, she was so polite, helpful and caring. Once entering The store, “May” the store Manager came to us to help which was really nice of her. She was very friendly and truly handled the situation so well that once we left the store we were both smiling thinking of how we love Nike again. The worst experience so far! I brought a pair of shoes to return. System was down and no transactions were able to get. After standing in a line for 40 minutes with no information, I insisted to call the manager. Meanwhile, the staff was not not engaging and not even one person said "sorry for inconvenience". Furthermore, I called manager to get rational excuse or explanation; however, the manager was even ruder than his staff. Not him not his staff didn't even offer to have a sit meanwhile the system was not working. Finally, when system started tp work, after I've been waiting for an hour and half, nobody called me to desk, I've approached myself. And they were not able to do return! The manager was still at desk, but he didn't even raise his head. For the brand like Nike, which I'm wearing for years, it's so disrespectful and dissapointing.

While I find a lot of other stores in Yorkdale to be cluttered, disorganized due to volume with staff that are unfit for a customer service facing role I actually really enjoy shopping at this Nike location as it’s the complete opposite! The staff are always very friendly and with this whole COVID nightmare they have made the environment very comfortable and safe for their shoppers without losing that friendly personal touch! Product is organized and the store is really well looked after by the employees there. I went in recently to exchange an item that was no longer available but a sales associate/manager named Heather went above and beyond in helping me find an alternative that was the best fit for me! I’m totally happy with my purchase and will def continue to support this particular location!

First time to the store and it looks great. Staff we're friendly upon entry and I found the array of clothing and shoes to be greatly displayed. CJ was the one who helped me and my friends with shoes and clothes to match. One of the realest employees out there and he even stayed throughout my shopping and only left to get me the sizes I needed. One of my friends wanted a shoe but they didn't have it available and CJ was the one who offered good varieties. My friend was even about to buy a shoe he didn't really want and the sizing was slightly off but CJ told him not to buy it and to just save his money for when the shoe becomes available. Any employee would've just let it slide and got the sale but CJ is a rare one. If you want an employee with great opinions and knowledge and to give you an even better shopping experience go to him. I purchased some shoes that were sitting on the shelf at this location. The employees who brought me these shoes are supposed to earn commission upon my purchase,for helping me get my size from the back. When I mentioned the employees names upon checking out, I was told “the employees won’t get commission on this sale because it’s a launch product”. The item was sitting on the shelf all day, it was not a limited release shoe just being launched. This store evidently does not care about their employees. Tanya, the reason I’d commute and hour to spend even more money. Tanya is a Nike Lead at the Nike store in Yorkdale Mall. Without a doubt in my mind if every retail store had someone like her, they’d do billions of dollars in sales every year. I live quite a ways from the Yorkdale Nike store (about 30-45mins drive), and I have multiple Nike stores that are much closer surrounding me. But I always make the commute to brighten up my day by seeing Tanya. She is the exemplary employee any business would want. Professional, bright, enthusiastic, promptly assists you, intuitive, etc. She goes to great lengths to make sure I leave the store with the item I sought for and for that I greatly appreciate it. If any Nike higher up or anyone of status is reading this. She deserves to be promoted to the highest ranks without a question. Beware, you cannot try on clothes due to covid and they do not like to do exchanges or refunds. Lady at the front cashier refused to do an size exchange for an unworn sweater I purchased three days before because I cut the tag, however I had both the tag and receipt. I later went to another Nike store who did the exchange easily as the tag can quickly be reattached. Seemed like she didn’t want to be bothered!

Nike Yorkdale is a place like no other. When I first entered the store, I was greeted with respect. As I was browsing the mens selection upstairs, two employee's asked if I needed any assistance twice during my 30 minute shopping time. I was lucky enough to be there was an exclusive shoe and there was a quite hectic line that started up but started to move smoothly after a couple of minutes. An employee that helped me when people were cutting in front of me and pushing me was Alexi. He made sure that people were following social distancing protocols and kicked out people who cut the line to the back.
