I have nothing but great things to say about Yukon Yamaha. I stumbled across this place on my way back from Dawson City and was looking for new pants for the remainder of the ride back to Calgary. I found a pair of Klims that was mislabeled on the price, but the staff honored the price. To date these are the best pants I have bought. I recently traveled to Dawson City again, and was looking for a new helmet for the girlfriend. We stop at the store and found the perfect helmet for her. As we continued to Dawson, she had excessive wind noises and even water dripping into the helmet, which was obviously an issue. On our way back we stopped at the shop again and told them what the issue was. We ended up testing a variety of things and found out that the mold for the helmet was misshaped. There was no other helmet in her size, other than one that was put aside for one of the staff members. Not only did they offer us the helmet, but also discounted it, so we didnt have to pay any extra on top of the helmet we already purchased. The type of customer service we received at Yukon Yamaha makes it worth for us to ride 3000km just to buy a new helmet. I'll be back for sure!

From reading the reviews I had expected more from the shop, both times I have visited staff who seem to be doing nothing are not willing to assist. Last visit was looking to purchase a helmet and a good quality waterproof motorcycle jacket. There was little stock, nothing in my size, and I was almost straightforwardly told that I wouldn't be able to afford the good stuff either. With helmets my size was not on display, asked if they could get me several versions in my size and I was told no pick one and they'll see if they have it in my size. After two visits with such dismissive service and very little stock from what is one of Whitehouse larger Motorsports shots, I won't be returning. Over my lifetime I have purchased many new motorcycles and new outboard motors, I don't expect to be waited on by staff, I just expect them to assist the customer. Don't expect helpful staff and hope they have what you're looking for in stock and you will be happy with your visit.
