I had a really bad experience here, the people who work here are rude and talk bad about other customers in front of kids etc. Made fun of my mother and her stroller then made fun of my little sister crying. And when people ask why the prices are so high up they get aggressive. Happened April 18th. Please don’t come here

Clean and organized place. Had a disappointing experience with the manager/cashier today. We were inquiring about a dish set that was clearly marked 26 items for $50, (we did not initially see the pricing so we asked for help. )Once we found the paper with the price on it the First Lady who I asked to help us, told us that the price must not be right... we counted the dishes and the whole set was in fact 26 pieces, she got the manager who came Over right away with attitude, (in my Opinion) and said immediately that the price wasn’t right and we were confused and somewhat frustrated with the attitude we were receiving. The manger got quite rude and told us that she didn’t need this today and that the dishes were not for sale and she wasn’t selling them. She Then walked back to the cash huffing and puffing making a scene which was embarrassing for us. I’m not even sure why arguing about a price at a second hand store, with items by donation, is even a thing. We were more than happy to pay the $50. Anyways, I will not donate my Items here nor shop here again.

I believe IMO thrift stores are a few things: Helping the community, recycling and re-using and finding treasures. Its a shame at this place that if you find a treasure and the cashier thinks its priced to low they wont sell it to you and claim it needs to be "re-assessed" this happened to me when I was there and I didn't really want to argue with the person but also though it was very unfair and a waste of my time and effort.

This is my favourite thrift store in White Rock! They always have absolutely INCREDIBLE sewing supplies and furniture! I try to stop by once a week at least! The employees are lovely and helpful and I always leave with a little something in my bag!

I ❤️ this place. It's based in White Rock which is a higher income and pension area of the Lower Mainland. They have such a wide variety of excellent quality pre-loved merchandise. I found these fabulous yet comfy Clarks heels with a touch of velvet for Christmas outings. And this cute, unique kettle. Plus their paperbacks are only a dollar each unlike some thrift stores where it's based on the original price.???? They have a big bin of bed sheets all priced for only $4.ea. And they now have a points club based on $1. for every $50. AND you get an emailed tax receipt! Go!!

I prefer this thrift store over the Salvation Army Store because they have lower prices. There is less focus on clothes here and more on household items which I like. The smell in this store will really put you off.

I love this thrift store! I stop by whenever i am in the area. Great deals on vintage and antique china, unique 1 of a kind items you never thoughr you would see for sale again. Prices are more than fair and you are supporting a charity. ????

What a wonderful place. I was invited to spend a day helping out in the electronics testing area. Had a blast. Goods are very reasonably priced and very high quality donations. Money goes to a great charity. Stay away from Value Village and support a true charity.

This is a Thrift store like no other! A very nice store! Located on White Rock Plaza, Foster Street (on the back). The team of volunteer members keep the store very well organized. And very well stocked; an incredible assortment of second hand merchandise. Contains: beautiful house furniture shoes, clothing for woman / men, home decor products, multiple kitchen items, books and more. The prices are reasonable. During Covid times: There is a very large line outside of the store waiting to be let in. If you are ready to purchase and you already know the store and the exact product you want to buy...you might just be inside for a few minutes, but if you need to see all of the merchandise in display. It could take one and a half hour (while inside the store). They are following all the health regulations in regards to Covid. Be prepared to be in a line up to pay, and to pack your own merchandise once you have paid. They have plastic bags and news papers for you to wrap your purchased items. Wheelchair accessible parking. Plenty of parking available.

Buyer Beware! I really enjoy shopping here. However I am very upset with a recent purchase. I bought a telescope for my dad for Christmas and it was $50. My friend asked the lady if I could have some money off cause of the rust all over the metal parts. It was a Bushnell telescope and apparently they are great and expensive so I thought I was getting a deal. The lady that was working said no discount because their appraiser said that it was $50. So I said okay and got it anyway. It looked in good condition in the store, but when I got home I was so upset to find that it was missing screws and was falling apart and there were cracks that I didn't notice in the store. I was even more upset to find the same model brand new online for $50. I think they should get a new appraiser. I will go in and ask for my money back. I can't give my dad such a crappy gift.

This store helps support charities in 3rd world community's. The entrance is on the lower level of Central Plaza, down stairs and at the back. Enter the car park from Foster Street to find parking. This well orginized store is a reseller of donated items, furniture and goods. This store has nice volunteers. Thanks for the look .....

I was shopping at world thrift as I do often, I needed a toaster and after a long drought there were almost a dozen at one time. To my dismay they r ranged in price from $15- 30 , the were all used and for argument sake about twenty years old except the $30 one which was New . Being the informed shopper for most items I purchase this seemed ridiculous as Canadian Tire offers several new toasters at under $20 , as well does Walmart and Superstore. I like shopping thrift and keeping stuff out of the landfills and seeing charities benefit but when pricing items that are near the end of their lifecycle to almost the equivalent of same article new I'm left feeling annoyed. Someone needs to sharpen their pricing pencil if they want my business and others that read these reviews to continue shopping there .

I enjoy shopping at WorldServe Thrift, and can usually find the item of clothing I'm looking for. I just wish I could bring some of the collectible furniture on the plane with me. Friendly staff and volunteers make it fun to shop. I do like the cleanliness of the items (I never get that gummy feeling from the clothes like at some thrift stores). Looking forward to seeing the expanded space.

I've been to this thrift store twice. The first time, the cashier got mad and claimed the product I was trying to buy was hers and that staff must have incorrectly placed it on the sales floor (it was a bundle of hangers I had picked up off of a shelf full of bundles of hangers, advertised as $1/ea.) The second time, I tried on a vest and then a staff member immediately approached me asking where it was and implying I was trying to steal it. Would not recommend. Would not return.
