I really like the qaulity of the clothing, designs and variety! However, I brought my two kids into the store driving there from our home in traffic which was an hour long car ride. We entered the store with no one else in there and not a single word was spoken to us . I was there looking at items , still not single word or eye contact. I then I looked directly at the two employees talking behind the cash desk, still nothing. I just left. I give the products a 4 star rating but -1star if I could for customer service.

Was given pajamas as a gift and the zipper was broken. Brought it back and got an exchange. Wore the new pair for one day and the leg seam broke. I don't think the clothing is very well made. No refunds by the way. No hate towards the employees, they tried their best to help me even with the company's dumb no refunds policy, but I wouldn't recommend that anyone shop here.

Horrible quality of rain boots! Even worse customer service. My mom wanted to purchase my toddler some rain gear for his birthday as living in Vancouver it essential to survive. I purchased the boots with pull handles in a larger size as his birthday is late spring and I wanted them to fit in the fall for the next rainy season. He barely wore them for 2 months and come fall after 2 weeks of wear the handle broke on one of the boots with not much force. My son has another much cheaper pair purchased from Joe Fresh which has lasted and are much more durable than the Hatley pair. When I reached out to customer service they blew me off and offered “15% discount on another item of clothing from their website only”. Save your money and purchase gear elsewhere. I will never purchase anything else from Hatley again which is a shame as I like to support Canadian businesses but cannot tolerate poor quality for the price you pay and even worse customer service.

Moms please know that this store does NOT do REFUNDS on purchases unlike Hatley Canada. Nobody in the store informs you of this and it is written only in the small print that you would only see likely after a purchase. Most of us prefer to shop without our kids running around the store and they are not there to try on clothes. If they do not fit and you rerturn them the next day you are out of luck. Terrible customer service and as a regular Hatley customer who clothes 5 kids regularly in Hatley clothes I will never shop in that store again. The rude salesperson flatly commented "everyone knows this". Well clearly I missed the memo and with this review hopefully others won't.

Today I was at Hatley Park Royal about 2pm. a sales associate was trying to help me and looking for things that I ordered. I was talking to her in our language (Farsi), after a while a manager came out and told the associate that what are you doing, you should help others and I was shocked that she judged her because she was speaking in a language that i was comfortable with. she was rude and made me upset today. I think the head office should provide behaviour management courses for their management team and make it clear that they should not discriminate staff and customers because of speaking in other languages.

The salesperson acknowledged me right away. She mentioned the Easter sale and that clearance items were final sale. She was cordial and helpful. Not as much selection as online but, has some new clothing which is great to see.

I visited Hatley last year and was so disappointed in the customer service I received I decided to exclusively shop online. After ordering a product I did not like I was forced to go into store to exchange it for something else. I was dreading the trip out to the mall as I knew I would have no help. However to my surprise I was immediately greeted when entering the store by Rebekah, who had such a kind and pleasant attitude, always smiling! She spent the entire time with me helping me choose out a new product. I later learned that she is the new manager at this location and she is the reason I will be returning to shop in store instead of online. The change in customer service in this location is phenomenal. Thank you to Rebekah.
