It was ok. I wasn't very impressed because the item that I bought was on a 20% off rack and there were several more there the same style. I was forced to pay full price because they said that item number wasn't listed on the sale, yet there were more than half a dozen of the same style on the 20% off rack. I have to say I was not impressed. If an employee is going to place items on a sale rack then it should be sold for the sale price.

Terrible experience. Searched around the store looking for someone to help us for awhile but couldn’t find anyone. Upon waiting at the front for help we were spoken to very rudely by a lady named Elaine. She was not helpful at all and talked to us as if we were stupid for asking for help. Bought a set of rain pants on December 19 asked the cashier if they’re not waterproof may I bring them back she assures me yes no problem. My receipt is in my friends truck in Calgary over the holidays they tell me they will give me the lowest advertise price which is almost $50 less than what I paid for them even though I’m able to produce my interact card with proof of purchase on my Banking so then I asked if I brought receipt back in the future when my friend gets back from holidays if I brought it in they would give me the difference back they said no that’s not how we operate well I guess this is the very last thing I ever buy at marks work warehouse in South Surrey because that’s just not good If I could give 0star I would have Guess I’ll just have to have wet legs and wet rain pants until my friend gets back Spoke to a friend of mine who works at a marks in Toronto and he said that’s not a problem generally if they’re not ripped and there’s proof of receipt through online banking and interact card that was used for purchase is there for refined there is no problem. I guess they do things differently out west

I purchased the Alfred Sung No iron, wrinkle free white long sleeved button down shirt and it's NOT true. It has many wrinkles. I washed and dried it and it came out wrinkled, so then I washed it and didn't put it in the dryer....just hung it on a hanger right away when the washer was finished. Still wrinkled. So disappointed.

I was at the Woodstock store today and they had an Out of Order sign posted on the washroom door. I asked the girl if I could use it and she said it was out of order and smiled , I asked what she used and she said they have a private one. I suspect they are leaving it closed so they don't have to clean it after each customer. Just my thought I got from her attitude.

This is a small location but they have all the essentials for work gear. Keep an eye out for their weekend sales which often offer 20% off. The staff are helpful and will order things from another store without complaint. I've found them to have very reasonable prices and return policies.

Called and they told me to bring it in for a replacement when I did I was greeted by a wonderful woman by the name of Helen who also dealt with my return. Great for men, but women's inventory is ignored. Women's footwear has 4 shelves, men's footwear has 1/4 of the store. Same as with the clothing. This is specific to the Whitehorse store, it does not care much to cater to it's female clientele. However, Mark's itself has much more, so women are better off looking online.

Otherwise for a smaller store, they had an adequate selection. The only exception was that the men's lounge wear was quite sparse as oversizes were the majority available.

I've always loved Mark's Work Wearhouse not only for their high quality and top name brand items but also for the atmosphere and overall friendly vibes that the employees give off while helping their customers with anything they need. Today's (Thursday, November 26th) isit was for two pairs of steal toe boots/shoes for myself and my significant other as we start a new job Friday morning. We both found exactly what we needed and as we were checking out of the store the kind lady behind the counter surprised us both with a "free if you spend X amount of dollars" gift card for the store that I will be able to use next time I go as long as its between December 1-26.

Thank you very much for such a great service! My husband ordered his items online for pick up, Mark's is the only store where he could find his specific gear(an overall) and boots that fits him right. His current boots is extremely worn out and working in the cold is not easy so he needed new boots asap. Now, my husband works at a construction site and his job demand includes working late until 5 or 6pm. He was worried he can't pick it up on time since the store closes right when he finish work and he leaves home around 6 in the morning. Also, he didn't agreed to pre authorized me to pick up his items so, I called the store to confirm. The staff agreed for me to pick up his items considering I give my husband's confirmation # of his order although, it was the order # my husband gave me still, I pass it along to the staff over the phone. They require me to bring my ID which I don't mind. When I got there, my toddler fell asleep in the car, I thought I need to wake him up to pick up the item but when I call the store, the staff told me to drive at the front door which I find awesome considering my situation. So, I would like to thank the staff(Monday, Jan/25/2021). It was perfect timing for my husband's boots, hoping the other item arrives soon. Thank you again! Stay safe everyone.

The sales associates were hiding in the back when we got there. No one greeted us, or offered to help. When we finally found an associate, they were literally walking away when we tried to approach them. I tried shopping here one other time too and had the same issue. The first time they were busy, but this time we were the only ones in the store. We eventually got someone to begrudgingly help us. If I wasn't having such a hard time finding the pants I needed, I would have went somewhere else. Highly recommend leaving them as a last resort.

I so happy to share my experience about Mark’s in North Bay. The staff member, whom I only know her first name is; Bonnie! Bonnies been helping my husband find work clothing for his job. She has been so kind, thoughtful and truly a gift to Marks! Bonnie goes the extra mile to help, and during covid she’s been a blessing to “calm the storm” We’ve had the pleasure to deal with her now, on 3 different occasions; she’s like our very own “personal shopper” With covid we’re allowed a 20 minute time limit to get in and out of the store. 20 minutes is not enough time to answer all the screening questions, select your cloths, try them on and then pay! Well like I said before, Bonnie goes that extra mile. On the phone she she asked for my husbands size, colour and the style he likes. When he arrives at the store, she has a pile of cloths waiting for his to look over. She does such a good job, he always takes everything she selected, because she knows him so well from all the questions she ask. She takes time, listens and really knows shapes and sizes too. He’s in and out of the store in less then 15 minutes. She also told me about the bug cloths, as I told her (on the phone) that hate to go out side now, as the black flys and mosquitoes love me so much. Her husband swears by the clothing and hats to, as he works deep in the bush. Bonnie had my size of Clothing picked out in pants, blouse and a hat too, all colour coordinating, and I’m happy to say; I’m living my life again, out gardening, walking and sitting in the sunshine; the pecksy bug, bounce off me!

Mark's Store. This particular store provides customers all types of work clothes, Safety shoes, boots, for men and women. No matter the type of work you do. They will have what you are looking for. Also they have jackets, and sport clothing. Runners, gloves, socks, hats, eye wear, ear plugs. and more. The staff members are very attentive to provide assistance to all their customers. The store is kept very clean and organized. FACE Mask is required. They are in compliance with the British Columbia health guidelines. Wheelchair accessible entrance. Wheelchair accessible parking in front. Plenty of parking available. Shop local. Empower business to rebuild the economy.

Sign does say they are hiring and I wanted to be patient. I waited at the changing room for 15 minutes while multiple employees walked by and offered no help... Rooms were all full of others clothing and I would assume not sanitized, so I left.
