This store packs a big punch in a small space! The owner clearly knows her stuff, and has such a passion for local and "green" products. She helped us while we were there, and I never felt rushed or pressured. I definitely plan on stopping in again next time we're in the area!

Used to love this place. The past few times I've been in I've felt totally unwelcome with employees that barely acknowledge me, or walk by multiple times while I was holding my child and looking at something very out of reach. The store is crowded and impossible to find things in, especially when no one offers or even asks if you need help.

The customer service is outstanding - the two owners make you feel so welcome. The shop is tidy and clean. They are such a beautiful part of the Fernwood community. This store and the two owners are simply fantastic. I don’t have children of my own, I am a step mom but I have so many friends with babies and kids of all ages- this is my go to store for it all. You’re always made to feel so welcome and you’re never pressured. The prices are so reasonable for all the locally hand-made products. The apothecary section is my life. I replenish my bath soak with my favourite “blush soak.” It leaves you feeling so smooth, refreshed and relaxed. I bought my mother-in-law each skin care product for Christmas and she can not stop talking about how amazing her skin feels. All products; whether clothes or skin care, truly make you feel healthy and confident. I won’t go anywhere else! Just two days ago, I called in a panic and told them I needed a last minute gift for a 6yr old. They said no problem - packed a bag and delivered it to me!! My niece absolutely LOVED it. I won’t go anywhere else!!!! 10/10.

I went in there a couple of weeks ago looking for something, and came back in today for a purchase and I was remembered. Thistle and Wren is a small consignment shop for babies-children, the brands are mostly handmade and local which is very important to me since we support small shops, you don’t save much money buying from here. Quality is not taken into consideration when it is a “popular” brand. Ive seen pairs of worn, fuzzy, & discoloured newborn pants at $20 just because of the brand. They also recently posted a “Melissa and Doug” train on their Facebook page for $25.50 which seemed outrageous to me because I had seen the EXACT train a month ago at red rover for $12.. I looked online at the Melissa and Doug website and the train brand new is $25.10 I really do want to support this shop but because of the outrageous prices we will not be supporting anymore. Consignment stores are supposed to be a cheaper alternative to gently used clothing. I wouldn’t waste your time here... all though very beautiful on the inside it is extremely over priced for used products..

Thistle & Wren! A beautiful, boutique-like consignment store in a very cool neighbourhood! We love shopping here and I never fail to find what I'm looking for. They have an incredible range of baby 'equipment', quality footwear, outdoor gear (good ol' West Coast essentials: muddy buddies, rain coats, etc.), and gorgeous gently-used, name-brand clothing (MEC, Native, Aden and Anais, Bogs, Sorel...to name just a few of the brands I'm always in search for). The staff has always been incredibly friendly and helpful, not to mention very gracious when I have my youngest bull-in-a-China-shop kid in tow ; ) A-N-D, I love that they have a bathroom for their customers: we're able to try things on with ease, and meet all those potty-pit-stop requirements along with way! It's a lovely little store with FABULOUS stuff!
