I traveled from Vernon to stock up on supplies. I found a lot of neat stuff. Unfortunately their clay section was almost completely empty so I couldn't get a lot of the stuff I needed. I did find a lot of other supplies I needed though. There was a lot of variety and selection throughout the store. The staff was great. They were all really cheerful and made you feel really welcomed. The cashier, Lynda, who I went through was the nicest and sweetest lady ever! I will defiantly be back again.

I was recently in the Michaels in Kelowna BC, where there is a mask mandate, and a couple came in not wearing masks and the person working there said "well there is a mandate, but its your body your choice" . First off, wrong way to use that phrase. Second, there is a massive covid outbreak here and they didn't even sanitize.

It is a great store for supplies. But be careful as some products that you can get cheaper elsewhere. But for hard to find art supplies it is wonderful to have the store here.

This place is really hit and miss, sure they have coupons and discounts and in theory a good selection of crafts and art supplies but their stock is hit or miss. The shelves are quite often empty in the art section and other things are very very expensive compared to other places such as cheap dollar store frames they might want $40 for and other things such as paints can be good prices or really expensive so just shop around. I almost always shop at my local art supplies store (Opus) but occasionally get the odd thing here from here, depending on what it is.

Good source for most of your crafting needs. Last visit (shortly after new years) they seemed short stocked. Some of the aisles were disscheveled and i had to search for items which should have been in one spot, but were strewn throughout the aisle. There was also a very long and slow moving line at the till. Usually i have no issues with Michael's, this may just be due to the times we are living in and difficulties in getting products. Otherwise, the store is clean and the staff are friendly.

4 of the 5 items I went in for were out of stock, the planner I went in for apparently is the only one the sale isn't applied to, had to settle for a much larger bulkier version. Signage was misleading & having no idea when to expect stock when last year the store could tell you is also stupid. Not a lot of stock out either, have to shop elsewhere now :(

The staff was super helpful and kind, especially considering the stress of the time of year. I'd miss-read a discount sign, and they were still nice enough to give me the deal even though it was completely my bad. Love the kit I got. They have a good selection and lots of different product types. They're definitely a bit more on the expensive side, but I love shopping here ????

I love Michaels, HOWEVER, after paying almost double for votive candles online (7.99 at superstore, but they were sold out so paid $12 plus $25 expedited shipping - this was the only shipping option allowed), i discovered the Michael’s version is noticeably smaller than the regular votive candle size. Sneaky. Not cool.

Started rock painting, found all my brushes and paint at Michael's. Only drawback is lack of staff to direct one if cant find what your looking for. However the store manager came to save the day, he is fast, courteous and efficient. Problem solved for me in less than a minute. I did not get your name? Always has a great selection of everything craft related I need. Pricing is a little on the high side, but they usually have coupons and/or deals on specific items. Staff is helpful. It's hard leaving the store without wanting to buy just about everything.

They have everything, even stuff that nobody would think to want! As a craft enthusiast myself, this is a dangerous store to go into. I've spent way to much money on miniature house hold items like a tiny guitar, a tiny mushroom, or even a tiny pot and pan set, but I'm not complaining. I could spent hours just walking around getting ideas for new projects.

I love this store! They have reasonable prices, and fantastic art, and craft supplies. What I dont exactly favor, is that most of the time when I am looking for fabric, they are always out of stock. Maybe it's just bad luck.

What a horrible shopping experience. We ordered something from their store online and set it for in-store pickup. We then received an email that the order was ready. We went to go pick up the item and there's a kiosk where you click a button and a staff will come and assist to get your order. I clicked the button 3 times, no one came. 3 separate staff walked by and ignored me. One of which was 3ft away from me greeting people at the door, while I tried to get her attention for some help. Nothing. We walked out and cancelled and order because their lack of customer service. I went online to their chat to talk to a customer service rep to at least let them know of the problem so they can alleviate whatever problem areas there are in their staff/management. I was then unsurprisingly, ignored on the chat by their customer service agent.

Nice Michael's store. They have the usual stuff Michael's has. They have a framing service seasonal items. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking is free in the parking lot. Always a great place to go for crafts. They usually have promotions on top, so check for coupons.

I approached a lady working in the Custom Framing Department, her name is Pamela. I finished two Diamond Painting Pictures and wanted them professionally framed. Pamela helped me to pick out the matboards and the frames that best suited my pictures. She was able to find two frames that were on clearance and I was just delighted. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. She certainly is a fantastic lady and an asset in the Framing Department. ???? Thank you, Terri

Went in looking for a couple small containers of acrylic paint. Came out with canvases, over 16 different colours, brushes, and a million different ideas! Stay away if you have no willpower like I do! Prices on many items the same or better then any dollar store style business. And in most cases better quality too!

Have minimal selection. The store is half empty. Scattered goods in Vernon has more art supplies and at a 1/4 of the prices. Absolutely terrible.

I went in looking for erganomic clover crochet hooks. I had to return other items. I was able to do this with no problems. The store is clean, organized, and variety of stock. The staff are friendly (shoutout to Annelee) She was fabulous and knows her stuff. I was in there this Saturday and Sunday. I love the app which gives you coupons and weekly flyer. They do very well to run this store especially the older staff whom I look forward to seeing and talking to.

Little disappointed with my first couple visits to Michaels. They've got a wide variety of supplies for every creative hobby you can imagine but each time I've been there the stock has been either really low or right out. The aisles seem disorganized and it's hard to find what you're looking for. There's usually someone on staff roaming around offering help though. Prices are pretty high but you're getting quality stuff. Worth checking out. Just get there early.

It's well organized and there are people around to help if needed. Thing is, the prices are all over the map. Sometimes you can get things at great pricing! Most of the time the prices are high though. They do have a lot of specialty items that I can't find elsewhere though. I overall really like Michael's.

The aisles seem pretty sparse and bare, it looks like there isn't much merchandise coming into this place probably covid related. I have always found most of the items in this store way overpriced by at least three to four times what it should cost, I usually walk out and find the same item at my local Dollar or Thrift Store.

A wonderful store to get all your crafting needs! Super helpful staff! Edit: September first I went there again today to get some craft supplies. On my way out of the store I tripped and the candle I bought had shattered. The employees were extremely helpful and kind in replacing my candle without any problems. Michaels is a store where they respect and treat their customers right. Also if you download the Micheals app and sign up for their membership program you can get 30% off your purchase!

Was headed to visit but decided not to after encountering the homeless junkies in the parking lot by the open and recently rummaged through garbage bin. The initial thoughts of giving coffee vs. backing over the shopping carts full off dirty clothes and stolen swag was immediately overcome by the view of 2 parents steering their 5 young children away from the area. The parents had to escort their children across a busy road to avoid beggars, when they should have been enjoying the air and talking with their kids about leaves changing colours for the winter. When I arrived, a few scattered, one hid behind stock at Home Depot, and another sat smoking drugs between nods. A disgusting property that I will not visit simply due to this ever expanding plague. This includes the neighboring PetSmart and Home Depot.

The store wouldn't let me use the washroom b/c it was after 5 pm,which is stupid.....I had to pee outside. The employees thought I was a homeless person b/c of the back pack I had on to carry my art supplies in... I have never felt so judged in my entire life.... Not a good shopping experience at all

Extremely extremely overpriced. There was literally a 30 person line and building.they only had 2 ppl on tills. Juat made no sence to me. Who ever manages that place shud get some training or something. When there's a 30 person lineup.most ppl wud call atleast one more person to the tills. Wud not recommended shopping here. U can find all the same things at Walmart for literally 1 tenth the price. So just stay far away

Absolutely horrible service... I called once and I was left 6 minutes on hold because they forgot about me. I called twice and told them not to forget about me...and that I was speaking to somebody and she took forever to get the information I needed and then I was hung up on again... so I finally gave up ....HIRE MORE PEOPLE !!! I first must apologize for taking so long to write this review. However, I must say that 'Chance' (I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling, if not I'm sorry) from framing was amazing. She helped me get 2 large and one medium sized 5D framed. The dragon fly, my daughter loved it; the train was my son's gift and the little English cottage for my sister was very well received. I can't tell you how much I appreciated what she did to help me. That young lady is fantastic! I am so happy with the work that was done, and she went above and beyond to make these crafts shine! Thank you to Michael's and especially to you - Chance!!

A good broad selection of craft and art supplies. Often has harder to find items due to the broad range but perhaps not a huge selection of each thing. Understaffed so please have patience with the employees and expect everything that requires staff help to take a little longer as a result. Although it is frustrating, the staff are doing their best to offer a positive and pleasant experience.

They pretty much have everything you need but at a higher price than I have found at other places. Especially with home depot right next door... They have hardly any staff or at least it seems as much as last time I waited 20 minutes for assistance finding something and then 15 minutes in line for the 2 people confront of me to be processed. They only got the "high" stars due to the quantity of products that are on offer.

A little bewildering as they have moved stuff around from where it usually is to accommodate all the Christmas goods. So some stuff is difficult to locate. Staff is helpful and friendly when you can find them on the floor.
