Big Box is definitely one of the best places in Vernon to shop. There is always a great variety of stock and plenty of good deals and regular sales. The staff are always friendly and outgoing and always take the time to answer any questions I may have. With every large purchase I have made they were quick to offer a 'carry out' and loaded the item into my car. I am in the store on a regular basis and I must say that it is the cleanest and most well organized of all the Big Box Stores that I have been in. I would highly reccomend this store for all your household needs or wants. ????????????????????????

I was just denied sale because I wanted to use tap in my phone and I didn’t have ID (forgot my wallet). My phone requires my face to unlock and pay. That’s more secure than someone just tapping a card or putting in a stolen PIN number. I think the staff need to be educated on security because I’ve never had this happen before at any other store when using tap.

I absolutely love the big box outlet in Vernon. I got to deal with the assistant manager Candace over the last couple months. She’s the most happiest helpful woman you’ll ever meet; if you’re interest in buying furniture, groceries anything at all. Stop at the big box outlet in Vernon! It is clean, the employees are helpful, and the shelves are always fully stocked. The furniture collecting is amazing - you’ll definitely find something there that you’d like! :)

A few months ago I was in the Kelowna store, when I went in it was dingy, dusty and disgusting. When I tried getting some help to find something a taller slimmer man (that obviously worked there) told me that he was busy and couldn’t help me. I told myself that I would NEVER go back to a big box store. Fortunately a few months later my friends wanted to go to this big box in Vernon. I have one word - WOW. I was amazed with the customer service and how I felt like family in there, Candace was super kind with me and helped me find a Great recliner chair for my father and brand new sectional for myself and the manager Debra was so kind to me aswell. All the employees are all friendly and extremely helpful no matter how busy they are. I now once a week will drive 45 minutes to go to the big box in Vernon; if anyone wants amazing customer service by friendly staff, go to big box outlet in Vernon! See you girls soon!! :)

We've bought many appliances from this BBO location including an LG dryer/washer combo, an LG oven, and an electric standing desk - and Tammy was exceptional in helping us with our transactions in every step of the way. Tammy and her staff are very knowledgable about their products, professional, and they do NOT engage in any pressure sales. - they even held our purchased item for a couple of days until we managed to secured transportation. This Big Box Outlet Store comes highly recommended, and Tammy deserves a raise!

They don't display any signs or suggestions anywhere inside or outside that the store policy is that you can't have a bag. I refuse to leave all my valuables on the floor near the exit of the store. I simply wouldn't have entered the store if I knew I would be hunted down and confronted by an employee. I'm aware that walking and carrying a bag is somehow unaccepted by certain stores (with signs on the door) hence why you should warn customers with a sign or statement, instead of the false sense of security that I am welcome to shop without scrutiny.

This store is nice for young people to get decent stuff for the home when starting out however if I do shop here again I will inspect everything this store has a very bad reputation for switching good items paid for with broken ones of the same model tho I got a refund I would have preferred my actual item purchased and this would have been a 5 star review its about honesty and not to mention what they did was illegal too

We just bought a couch from this location, that was better priced than the competitors, by far. We received the best customer service. Initially we dealt with Karen, who was patient and very helpful and I found the couch I loved. We went back (cause I had to get the hubbys approval) and dealt with the manager, Debra. SHE IS AWESOME! She exceeded our expectations and delivered exceptional customer service. Definitely will return and recommend this location. Thanks ladies!

my experience is that I can get a reasonable deal at the Big Box Outlet. I do find that they have new and damage things but that they are a liquidation store. That is why we need a person who can negotiate a reasonable price at the store at the time we are there. Please give the manager to say " yes or no"

Deb and Tammy are great. We recently renovated our bedroom powder room and we bought the vanity, mirror and barn door from big box in vernon. They look feel like high end material but at a discount price. I have another bathroom to do and we have purchased a 72 inch vanity from them as well.

Love shopping @ Big Box Outlet store in Vernon because of the variety of things to buy. I have spent many hours in that store trying on clothes or just wandering around checking out all the shelves. The prices are reasonable and better when there is a big sale. There are always new items coming into the store. The store is clean. The staff are great All combined together, a great place to shop.

I bought some Christmas lights at this store but when I got home and looked through all my bags I noticed that the Christmas lights were not there....so I called the store and they said they were still there. I went back and got them only to get home, look in the bag and realize that they had switched out the bag of lights that I had bought for a bag with only half the amount of lights in it and there was no price tag on the bag at all. (There were 2 large price tags on the bag I had bought) Flabbergasted that they would switch out the Christmas lights I had bought, I went back to the store only to be told that they could not deal with it and to come back when the manager was in. Next I called the store and asked for the manager. They said that all they could offer was a refund and after I pointed out that switching the lights out was basically stealing from a customer after an item was bought and paid for. He than told me that was the best they could do and if I didn't like it that I should shop elsewhere. Sadly those Christmas lights were suppose to go to a needy family for Christmas. It is shocking that a store would actually sink that low. My family and I have spent a lot in that store in the past but after that experience I won't be shopping there ever again.

I had the pleasure of initially dealing with a young man named Reece who was extremely helpful in helping me buy an air conditioner. He stopped what he was doing to talk to the manager about my question, as well as ring me through. After setting up my air conditioner, we found that the condenser was making a very loud noise and then quit. When I contacted Deb, she was very helpful in helping me find a solution as I needed the air conditioner for out of town company. I would not hesitate to shop this store again! I will keep coming back for the deals, but most of all for the above and beyond customer service!!

We have been shopping at Big Box Vernon since moving to Vernon 3 years ago. Deb is always so helpful and friendly. She knows her inventory well and without a blink of an eye she will direct us to whatever we are looking for. We’ve been to other BB outlets and there is no comparison. Her store is extremely organized and customer service is excellent. She is continually directing her staff to ensure the store runs smoothly. It is apparent that Vernon’s BB operates as well as it does because of Deb.

We received an ad by email, in this ad there were power washers on sale. We stopped by the store to purchase the pressure washer. There were 2 in stock. We asked a sales associate if we could buy one these, so said they would get the attachments from the back storage room. We were then told they could not find the high pressure hose. We called the store the next day to speak to the manager, we asked if they would sell us one without the hose as our old pressure washer was the same make, she said she would check with head office and get back to us. The head office said no that she should dispose of these 2 machines at the landfill. We can't believe a company would throw away 2 perfectly good pressure washers when someone wanted to buy one. No wonder prices go up. This was very disappointing. All of our friends and family can't believe this.
