Intimate dining experience, nice food, nice staff, very nice for being in Swan River. Quite expensive, but it's to be expected. Not enough lighting for me and music didn't match the atmosphere of the restaurant, but overall was a nice experience.

I've traveled all over the world and eaten well, and you'd be hard pressed to find a better restaurant than this anywhere. Margaret and Doug welcome everyone in with a smile and a laugh, and then you are served (every single time) one of the best meals you will ever have. Steak, seafood, the special, it doesn't matter, it's all spectacular. Generous portions, excellent wine pairings, helpful staff, and the best value-for-money you'll get anywhere. If you're in town or just passing through, don't sleep on Madoco.

Modaco is a hidden gem in Swan River. Our meal consisted of the best Bruschetta I have ever had the pleasure of tasting and the perfect medium rare prime rib. Every little detail is well thought of. Of course dessert and wine are a must to top off the whole experience.
