Nice selection of clothes, but very poor service. On Sunday store was open until 5, and I was at the fitting room at 4:40 and she told me that I can’t try it on and they are closing soon. No problem I will spend my money somewhere else.
It's a good spot to get your shipments from Zara website delivered to, otherwise too chaotic of a store to get any shopping done.
The line ups were long to get inside but they moved fast. I found what I wanted. The line ups to pay were long in the women's section so I walked to the kids dept where I was served promptly.
Went to this location today (January 6th/21) around 5:45pm and did not have a good experience. I was looking to exchange an item that I bought 1 month ago for a different size and was within the 30 day return policy as stated on Zara's website that I familiarized myself with. Upon reaching the cashier, I got accused of taking the tag off- asking me if I took it off is not a big deal but stating that I did in a rude manner is where I found the issue. I told the cashier that it probably fell off while I was trying it on. They were still able to look up everything needed through the tag on the inside of the item so I found it unnecessary. In addition, the manager at this location was very passive towards myself and my sister. With my transaction, he was telling me that I could not return it as it was over 30 days (he went off of the day that I ordered the item) when the Zara return policy states that you may return 30 days from the date that your item was shipped out- which is why they attach the e-receipt to that specific shipping confirmation. He was just being quite rude over a transaction that was pretty cut and dry and acting as if he did me a favour. My sister was looking to exchange an item that she got as a Christmas gift from my mom that was ordered on December 3rd, but given to her on December 25th. This is not necessarily a critique of the location itself but rather Zara, as a holiday return policy should be put in place. Every store, even stores like Aritzia who usually have quite strict return/exchange policies have extended holiday return periods but the manager at this location did not care to hear my sister out and was cutting her off as she was talking. She ended up getting a refund, but the overall experience with staff could've been much better. Very unlikely that I will shop or return items here moving forward.
The return policy should change. If you buy an item and after a few days it goes on sale you have to return the item you buy and go look for it again. They don't just match the price for you. Rediculous

Return online, it takes ages at the store! They hang each item first, slowly attaching security tags to each item and then will let you go. Plus online store has all sizes.

The worst costumer service especially when you want to refund the product because of damaged or any others reasons. They talk to you like you owe them or steal from them... usually they pick their stormanagers from the rudest with no ethics. Compare to other brands I preferre the Masimoduti or H&M depends on the budget instead.

The staff at this Zara are the most miserable bunch of employees I have ever seen. It is quite obvious that none of them actually enjoy their jobs. I've been here twice -- nobody says hello, nobody offers to help. They all just go about their business with their heads down praying to their God you don't ask them for assistance because heaven forbid they have to exert any extra effort to earn their wage. Also, at face value it looks like they are promoting Covid safety YET they have no issues having 6-10 people standing in line for 10 minutes just to check out. They had one cashier open. ONE! If I were the manager, I would make it a priority to ring in the sale and get people out to fresh air pronto! Not only would it improve customer experience but It's for the safety of shoppers and staff alike. I've given a rating of two stars because the eye contact avoiding staff do do a good job at keeping the store tidy.

The ladies and gentleman who work in the men's department are absolutely fantastic. God bless them for working so hard and being so kind at the same time. I will always prefer this location over others. The amount of effort these individuals put in during their busy sale season is very admirable. My highest praise to you all, thanks a lot. x
Nice kids store
This Zara location is huge—probably the biggest Zara in Greater Vancouver in terms of square footage. Their offering is the largest and most diverse with generous stock. But at the end of the day it's just another Zara. Everything hung on a rail and folded on a table is eventual landfill-destined fast fashion junk. As many reviewers have pointed out, customer service is virtually nonexistent (though I still don't understand why anyone would expect customer service from Zara...).

Horrible staff.. I was at the store for my online pick up order and I requested the staff if she can help me put the order in bags and remove boxes as it will be easier to carry. She bluntly refused stating I have other customers and I can't help. And walked away. Horrible service. Honestly not expected from a brand like zara

Good value. Nice selection. Sales staff not the friendliest (except for the main check out lady). I was requesting an exchange and was processed for a refund instead. I was trying to get the lady to check if a size up was available (I couldn't find it in the racks) but she couldn't be bothered check her inventory. I was told to go look for the size and that I should go back in line when I did find it. So even if it was over an hour and a half till closing on new year's eve, she did communicate quite effectively that she'd rather be elsewhere. Rude.

Like any other zara store I've been to in the last 4 years in the lower mainland irs messy! They have good sales, some great classy clothes however the experience if being in a messy store with clothes looking messy is not enjoyable. The Richmond location was much better in that respect.
I brought a pair of pants in that I had only worn a couple times, the zipper was not working correctly and so they said they would repair them at no cost, great! They said it would take a week for them to be repaired, 3 weeks pass and I call each week wondering if they are ready. Turns out they lost my pants between them and the tailor upstairs, lost the record of my receipt (thankfully I still had my slip) and the manager Sam was useless and told me to contact customer service. I could have taught myself how to sew faster than this whole mess. Still no pants or reimbursement for their mistake.
Although clothes look good, fitting room experience is not good at all. The maximum clothes is 6 and when i brought in more I asked if I could hold them at the fitting room so I wouldn't lose them, which the employee responded with "no because of covid, but you can put it on the floor", which does not make sense and i'm sorry the floor?.Then I said "so someone can steal my clothes?" and she said "yes.". What kind of rule is that? And in the end 5 extra clothes that i had hidden from the fitting room were taken by someone. Poorly run.
Visited this location for the first time only because i wanted to exchange some clothes bought last week. After WORK I drove from Whistler to West Vancouver just to exchange clothes. I was in the store at 6:53pm and they were closing at 7:00pm. One black male guy let me in the store he was very nice to us and then Caucasian female employee followed us in the store and said “ the store is closed “ i informed her that i am here after my work, drove 2 hours to here, so that i can get my clothes exchanged, just need different size which will take less than 5 minutes ” she replied “ i don’t care where you came from, the store is closed “ NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THIS LOCATION. AFTER READING OTHER REVIEWS, I THINK THEY REALLY NEED TO CHANGE THEIR STAFF.

Stood in line for half an hour being third in the line while someone was returning items and arguing with the teller. A manager came to the till and left even though there were about 15 or more people in the line. I heard over the radio that people were taking break... A bit of professionalism and good management would be to make her wait or add another teller at the second till right next to the one they were using and the one that the manager walked away from until the return was complete. They ignored everyone just like they will probably ignore this review.

It's a pretty big Zara, but other than a good selection of clothes, the customer service isn't great. I got them to check if they had this shirt in my size. Inventory showed they did, but none of them was willing to help me find it. They told me to go look through all the racks myself. They had employees standing around talking to each other. Their reason for not helping was that "the shirt could be anywhere, might be in someone's hands". This level of customer service is just plain disappointing.

This store has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. No one’s helpful and they always act annoyed when you ask them a questions of any kind. I buy my items online just so I don’t have to deal with it but unfortunately I have to go in for any returns and have never had a good experience even doing that. Went here shopping for a few things and first was greeted by no one. Not one staff member considered greeting us or simply smiling. I like the selection of apparel available overall and most of it is of good quality. I would recommend working on sales staff customer service training for a better customer experience. Last thing, allowing a customer to shop the racks while at the checkout is irresponsible. We waited 25 minutes behind a lady shopping the store and ended up leaving EDIT: I changed to one star, went back unfortunately and recieved more terrible customer service. The clerk allowed multiple people in front of us to budge as they were friends and when we interrupted we were ignored. AVOID THIS PLACE. The staff is toxic and doesn't even acknowledge you.

I was in mens side on January 6, no cashiers open. Which seemed odd as there was lots of staff on floor. None in change area. I had to go to the women's side.To buy my purchase. There was a long line. There were 3 cashiers to start, on was tied up with a huge order. One cashiers shut down. The manager came. Then another shut down. Then 20 minutes later the one cashier with the huge order, shut down leaving one cashier. When I finally got there the cashier was simply vapid and uninterested in being there. I would have had more human interaction at a self check out. Poor service. Sad.
I was at the Park Royal Zara location this past weekend and the service I received was absolutely terrible. I had asked three separate employees to assist me in finding a tank top and each of them insisted I look on my own. No one would help. The customer service team that was on shift at this time should be reminded of how to run a clothing store and how to properly treat customers. I've been in the industry for over 12 years and have never been treated in such a way.

The store manager ( employee id 15818) in this store has been very rude to me. I used to shop from this store every season. Last time when I did shopping the fitting room was closed and an employee told me that I can bring the items back within 30 days. I live in Victoria ..there is no store in my town. I tried the items at home and they were too small. I couldn't and did not want to travel from Victoria to Vancouver during this pandamic ..just to return Zara clothes. Today I had to go to Vancouver for some other reason and went to Zara explaining my situation hoping to get at least store credit for my return. The manager has been super aggressive staring the conversation with " mam I can take your $109 worth of the clothes for $30 only if you exchange" And then "man that's all I can do wether you like it or not" I was shocked .. what kind of policy is this... taking the clothes for cheaper because the fitting room was clothes and I couldn't return the items on time? Such a shame.. I asked for the manager name.. she gave me a number on a piece of paper .. again I asked for a name. She refused to give me her name and said "this is my employee id and that's your problem if you don't trust me" The worst customer service ever. Such a rude conversation..so aggressive .. I love this brand .. almost half of my closet are Zara clothes... I would never shop there again.

There are some staff there that do not have very good customer service skills. She lacked being friendly and made us feel like we where bothering her when we asked her a question. She was the first person we met. But yes we felt ignored definitely. Yet the girl in the fitting room was nice& helpful. But we had to search the store to find someone other than the first girl, since she made us feel so unwelcome. The store was very tidy, organized. We went back 2 weeks later, it was surprisingly better- they help me out on my return. Hopefully this continues! :)

I just phoned to see if a pair of shoes were in stock so I didn't have to order online.... Genuinely the worst customer service (if you can even call it that) I've ever experienced over the phone. Short, extremely rude, not helpful whatsoever. This store specifically has always been horrible and that phone call really solidified that. Seriously not impressed.
Poor unprofessional service. They close at 7pm on Wednesdays and we went there to return an item at 5:53pm and some staff showed up as we walked in and said sorry we are closed and after we walked out, we saw 2 other customers walking in and went back to try again and the same guy showed up again and said we are closed. They let the people in when they want to shop but if you are returning something, they wont let you in so their sales dont go down!!!

Extremely rude manager (id number #15818). I brought up and issue to her about waiting in line for 20 minutes with only 1 person working at the cashier and instead of trying to fix the problem and have additional employees help with the cash register, she brushed it off and did not even offer an apology and started looking the other way while i was talking to her!! I’ve been a loyal customer to zara for the past 12 years and I highly recommend that zara up their game in the customer service area because receiving this kind of customer service is ridiculous from a well known company like zara.

Good size store with lots to look at, although most of the clothes seem to be somewhat runway fashion focused which isn't for me as I usually stick to the basics and sale items. The dressing rooms can get pretty busy during peak hours also.

Great costumer service as well as lots of ways to buy! They always help to find what you're looking for if the store doesn't carry your specific item, they can order online for delivery or pick up they can even tell you which other Zara locations carry your item.
Useless customer service people. My wife asked if there was an XS size in a pair of pants and the guy ask her to find somebody with an iPod. Ok, found somebody with a iPod (iPad) and they said that there is a XS in the store somewhere ... wouldn’t help us track it down. Then off the to fitting rooms, she could only take so many items in at a time, then came out to get the other items and the attendant was no where to be seen for 5-10 minutes. When she came back, it seems like she felt like she was doing us a big favour by giving my wife the rest of her clothes to try on. The line up for the change room was 5 people and many stalls were empty. Maybe Zara is more on the same level of Joe Fresh or Old Navy from a customer service stand point.
This is the best Zara location. All of the other locations look like a disaster with clothes scattered everywhere. This one is always nice, organized and well kept. Not to mention it usually isn’t overly busy inside. Staff have always been nice and friendly to me. I enjoy coming to this location
Waited 20 minutes to pay for one item. They insist on paying for men's items in the men's area registers burt they had ONE till open and was attending to a return/exchange more than several items. Associate who FINALLY took me to women's area to pay kept apologizing but that is no excuse. My transaction in the end took 30 seconds tops. Such a waste of time.
Beware very wary of their non-customer friendly return policies . I recieced a gift for Christmas and wanted to exchange it for a different size. Obviously the item hand not been worn as it had the tags still intact along with the Zara bag. Unfortunately I had lost the gift receipt and was even willing to take a store credit for the lowest sales price in the last 3 months . I could even provide them with a copy of the credit card statement detailing the purchase of that item, but was still not given to any resolution . Just a too bad so sad ....next Staff admitted it was a ridiculous policy and had to do with returns in the system Sounds like a poor excuse for a greedy designer chain to provide poor customer service as any other stores that I have dealt with would generally give some latitude with regards to exchanges or store credits Won't be shopping there .....

Long line, useless manager. They wouldn't get a bag for the lady in front of us. They have awful policies, you can't exchange a product if it goes on sale the next day, no price protection at all. Total joke, you can't afford to treat customers this way in 2017.
The change rooms provide no privacy. The curtains don’t close and mirrors reflect into other change rooms for others to see you. Please get new curtains at the Park Royal location.
This store isn’t pro choice, they make you wear mask even if they aren’t mandatory. My last time shopping here. Rude customer service, poor clothing choice. And mask requirements even though they are optional NOT MANDATORY.

Terrible customer service, and by the number of 1 and 2 ratings below many agree. After waiting I finally got someone to bring me the show size I needed and walk away, opened the box and there were 2 right feet, tracked down someone else whose response was "oh weird" and walked away to find another pair, after waiting another 10 MIN asked someone else to find out what was going on and they said she couldn't find the shoes - would have been nice if someone came to tell me - awful service I don't think mgmt there cares either as I was standing in the sight line of a manager the entire time who never approached me, nor did anyone else

Garbage staff and selection. The staff don't care at all about helping or acknowledging customers. Not really sure what they are being paid to do. The store is a mess, it is impossible to find anything you want, and nobody is willing to help you even if you ask. I love Zara, but this store made me never want to go to Zara again.

Wish there was a zero star! Bought a few things for my daughter for Christmas. She didn’t like the dress so I went to return it. The lady was smelling the garment, flipping it inside out, turning it to the light, checking each loose thread, and asking me if this has been worn out. It was for my daughters Christmas and she didn’t like it and I brought it back immediately. So ridiculous. Then she told me it smells like smoke... SMOKE from a family who is absolutely ANTI-SMOKE as I lost my father at a young age from it. I’m really disappointed, and I believe when I asked for a manager she said I am the manager! This store has probably the worst employees I have ever seen. Turtle is fast comparing to how they work behind cash registers. Everything takes ages and manager of this branch did not even make an effort to be nice. I was refused for my purchase which was slightly after 30 days and they were not even willing to provide credit even if it was $15. Money does not matter but from principal, you would expect them to be more generous considering the fact their clothes is not the best quality. I had color stains all over my body from tight dress I purchased last time but did not even bother to try to return it because I was assuming that they would not refund / credit this anyway. My other pieces from them got always ripped somehow so it makes you think - is it worth the money? These little things made me to decide that I will never shop there again.

I am giving these two stars because ZARA is my favorite brand and I have been a loyal customer and just in June I bought 1300 dollars from ZARA, but when it comes to some staff of this branch..disappointing! From all the items I had bought online, I had to return some pieces. This branch is near our home, and as we are busy during the other days, my husband and I headed to this store Saturday afternoon, 27 June 2020. When we got there we still had 15 minutes to the closing time, but one of the staff, Shadi, did not let us in and said "we are closing now" despite it was not still closing hour based on their website. We explained that we just wanted to return but she treated so insulting and said could not let us in. We said we wanted to talk to the manager. While we were waiting for the manager outside the store in the rain, Shadi closed the door to make sure that we could not get in! Manager came and we explained we wanted to return, but he said fitting rooms were full! Who needs fitting room during Covid?! finally let us in provided that we should directly go to men's. I was crossing women’s just through the middle aisle but manager shouted at me again: just men's! while waiting to return, I noticed there were still other people in the line after us who wanted to return items and were allowed to do so. After returning, the staff were watching us to make sure we would not browse other clothes and even manager almost walked us out, and when I told him thank you and bye, he just turnd his back on me. So offensive!

Good selection of clothing in the men's store. However, the most of the staff were ignoring customers. There was a long line to checkout with one poor lady assisting all the customers in line. She was friendly and fast under the circumstances. Meanwhile there were three other employees just milling around the store being unhelpful. Finally a young lady came to assist the growing checkout line. But she seemed irritated she had to help. Very bad management here. Bottom line: go to another Zara as the clothes are good, but this location stinks!
