Great to have this store open again. In this time of COVID, you're not allowed to try on anything. This was a challenge as I have recently lost 35 pounds and had no idea what size I was now. We were told we could bring back things that didn't fit. I went for it and when I got home every single thing I had guessed on fit perfectly. Got some great new clothes that fit at reasonable prices.

Good quality work clothing. Solid quality work boots and rain gear at fair prices. The staff are usually very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately sometimes they can come off as a bit full of themselves. I myself am a husky built man who in the past took a larger size of clothing in the range of a 44 waist. A few years ago while shopping I could not find anything on the shelves that was bigger then a 42. When I asked the employee on duty that day, if they had anything with a waist 44+. They informed me that Marks does not sell anything larger since they see it as supporting unhealthy diets. This was pretty depressing information and I have not been back since. I now fluctuate between a size 40 and 42 waist. Not because of this incident but because of a medical condition that was causing me to gain excess weight, I now have it under control. That one incident aside, all other staff I interacted with previously were always friendly and helpful!. Hope they changed their policy's or let that one employee go.

Their staff is rude and extremely immature. Trying to make a complaint to the company through their email is a joke and finally after not hearing back for days, I called. Not only do you sit on hold for 20+ minutes. When you finally talk to someone they don't have access to emails and you get put on hold again. After another 20+ minutes of holding they can't find the email and tell me to call back tomorrow to try again. This has completely destroyed any respect for this company I had. and I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere.

Great place to go if you need women's black denim or insulated denim. They always have a selection of different fits in stock. Sizing is "off" tho (you can try on 2 literally identical pairs and have one fit way too big and the other way too small) so ignore the number on the tag and pick a pair that just plain fits.

Went to Marks Work Warehouse to buy something that was on a one day sale and when I got there no one working there knew what I was talking about. Finally after showing them the Hotmail I got telling me of the sale, one of the staff finally told me that it was in the back of the store and that he would be there in a minute to show me. Well he did finally come to the back of the store but I had already found it myself. I asked two of the employees if they had more of the sale items in the back, maybe another color in medium as there weren't that many mediums on the rack, well they both said that they would check. After waiting for quite sometime one of the young men came back and never had anything with him so I asked if he couldn't find anything in the back, he said that there were lots of boxes in the back but it was crazy back there and seemed to not want to find one. Then after awhile longer another guy came out and still nothing, when I asked him about the Jacket he said did I want another one and I said yes, as I had already told him that I did when he had gone to check. Anyways after waiting forever, the second guy brought me out another jacket in another color like I wanted. Though all thoughs problems I am happy about the price I had paid for the jackets that I had gotten onsale as it was a really terrific price.

Poor customer service; no one was around to help me at all, and the checkout lines were extremely long, unfortunately. Decent selection of clothes and gear for work and life, but if you’re a bit smaller or a bit bigger, there’s a lot less to choose from. The returns were easy though. No fancy or crazy process, so that is nice.

This a store that doesn't try to be all things to all people. It has a focussed selection of clothing, shoes and accessories and I know I'll be able to find what I need when I go there with a specific goal in mind. Only issue I have found is with their logoed t-shirts - they tend to shrink even when washed in cold which is too bad.

Marks has good quality clothing and good selection but it is somewhat pricey. Their footwear is top quality and very comfortable. The staff have always been pleasant and quite helpful. I like to go to Mark's when they have a sale on as they drop quite a few of their prices....more bang for the buck.

There was lots of clerks but they only had one till open so it took a fair amount of time to get through the till. Also the chemicals that they are using to sanitize are heavily scented and very agitating for the eyes, nose and throat. Selection was good and they had some excellent sales

Today I shopped for men's pants. I found a huge offering of many excellent brands. There were many choices from jeans to more dressy pants. The range of sizes was appreciated. As a shorter man it is often difficult to find pants with shorter legs on a size 36 waist. I found many choices. To top it off, as part of Triangle Rewards I received excellent sale prices.

The Kelsey Drive Mark's location were more than willing to fix a mistake of the other Mark's store on Aberdeen Ave. The employees, and management, at this location seem to take customer service a lot more seriously. If you're going to Mark's, choose the Kelsey Drive location.

Not a review for this specific store, but rather the chain in general. Ordered online, was sent the wrong product, I let them know my situation as I was leaving the country and needed to deal with the return quickly. They emailed multiple times over many days, never offering a refund or my ability to return product. Eventually I was no longer in the country and unable to return product. Terrible customer service. Will not shop at any local store due to terrible online service by this brand.

Nothing wrong with this place in particular, staff is alright and it's tidy. Everything is just overpriced. Certainly there is some quality items if you look hard enough, and some good stuff for niche enviroments. However, it's mostly flashy junk that's marketed to try and justify their pricetags. Don't get duped. Definitely bring a phone and do some research before you buy a product here.

The young girl/Sales Clerk told me if I was expecting these Coats before Christmas it wouldn’t happen, as the Orders are so busy an back logged. I go home an order from the comfort of my home Online on Dec 13th, not expecting them till at least the New Years, listening to what the young lady Sales Clerk told me. Today Dec 17/20 I got an Email my Order is in an waiting for pick up. This is a small Mark's. It's got the inventory you're accustomed to: Dakota, Denver Hayes, etc. But selection is not as extensive as larger stores. However, if it's a convenient location for you, you may wish to stop by here for the goods you're accustomed to getting from Mark's. Additionally--there's plenty of parking at this outlet.

Nice store...nice friendly staff. Good collection of clothes, hubby got bunch of clothes. I couldn't find much that fit me, only cuz I'm still carrying A LOT of pregnancy weight. But I did like alot of their collection for women. 2XL is the biggest size n sadly tht size only fit me in a flared style and alot of it was sold out in that size. Also, we did find the items kinda pricey for our taste but we're able to afford alot of it cuz of their sale going on. So look out for those sales. All in all good stuff!

Steadily declining customer service over the last few years. Went in there for work boots, there were no other customers in the store and I did not even get a greeting from either of the two employees. One was sweeping and the other just chatting. Let alone did they ask if I needed assistance. When I asked about some assistance one employee said they were understaffed , and just about to close. Thanks a bunch. Boots are not nice or comfortable / warranty sucks, overpriced products. I would advise any one considering work boots to visit Viberg boot on Harriet.

Got 1/2 off clearance shoes while I was there but had to buy a regular pair to qualify for the discount so I bought a $10 pair of Sandals and got a $100 pair of shoes for $50. I do buy stuff here at Marks, get some good deals, but somehow the huge jeans selection avoids the men's stretchy jeans to which I'm devoted. Not sure why anyone would wear rigid jeans any more. Still, I like Mark's base layers, socks, shirts, etc. I'll go upmarket for good jeans, and to Winners for cheap jeans.

If you are a large man, you need to shop here! I am 6 foot 5, 230 lbs, and I need jeans size 38/36, which is usually impossible at all other stores, but I found 2 pairs my size in two different styles at the Mark's down by Capital Iron! I even found a size 40/38 jeans there too! And for work boots, I take a size 13, but I've seen up to size 18! I'm not sure about women's large sizes because I'm not a woman, and my wife is small, but for large boys, Mark's is the place!

This is the best place to go for outdoor and work apparel. They have a great selection of men's and women's work clothes that are both fashionable and functional. If you're looking for a new winter jacket, they often have great sales at the end of the season. No longer carry cotton plaid shirts. They replaced them with polyester ones that aren't at all warm or functional for outdoor wear. I asked for an item too high to reach on my own and the person working said to try jumping for it. Another loudly complained so much and for so long to a customer he was ringing through about the new no plastic bag policy I dumped my items and left the store. I don't think I've ever encountered such a terrible staff morale in this location before.

I took one of my workers in to buy us some new work pants and shirts. We were approached while looking at pants and told we werent allowed to have a bag from Canadian Tire. CT is next door and was our first stop. The bag was taken from us probably searched and then put up front. I let that go and picked out a pair of $90 Carhartt pants as did my worker. I kept my new pants on and went and found someone to let them know I was gonna wear them out and I ask where I could find Carhartt shirts. I was told I had to go up front and pay before I did anything else. I have spent well over $5,000 in the last few years on work gear for myself and crew from Mark's. They made me fell like a thief today and I will never go back.

Bought some Dakota work boots in March. I sit at a desk the majority of the day but need the safety toes for when I go in the office. Boots are already worn so dad down in the heals that they are falling apart. Unacceptable. I have had these for 166 days. They will not warranty because I have had them for more 100 days. It is obvious product failure and not abuse, I have had many boots last much longer at the same workload. In the future I will be purchasing work boots from somewhere that stands by their products. Unbelievable. Mark’s has lost a decades old customer because they have chosen to sell this sub par product and make profit over selling a quality product that will last more then 5 and a half months of sitting at a desk.

I have in the past rated Marks as a 5 star but since our last visit to the Vernon store our opinion has changed, my wife called in to pickup an order but was refused as her husband's name was listed as the pickup person." note that we have the same family name". Even that my wife had a copy of the order and ID, she even asked if the manager to call me for clarification but was refused and left the store feeling totally humiliated. These ridiculous actions by so-called Managers are the #1 cause of Canadian companies loosing customers to the US.

Service was poor. We had come from the Clarence Ave Mark’s for an item that was out of stock (service had been great at that location) but at this store more than one staff member avoided eye contact and walked the other way. When we got to cash we had to stand for a few minutes though there was no one else in line. A woman who appeared to be a manager saw us but then turned and walked the other way. Finally a staff member saw us, called for someone to come to cash and, after receiving no response for awhile, helped us himself. However, he was not wearing a mask.
