Great prices on specials. Quantity of inventory lacking most days I've been there. I'll try twice then take ad to Walmart to price match. No frills won't price match with them anymore so I usually go to Walmart with their flyer just for spite. You don't advertise you price match then add exclusions who and whom you do and don't match. You either do or you don't. Giant tiger sets standard for lower prices!

I love this Giant Tiger. Its a great store where you can find a bit of everything you could need in an average household. Plus, everything is priced affordably. However, the coolest part of this store is it was started to give the chance to an employee to eventually become an owner. This is very very rewarding and motivational.

This particular location did a disservice to the brand. Took someone who had never shopped at any of the locations before. Were quite unimpressed. Very little of the groceries were unpackaged. Looked like was either closing out or going to a different style. Plenty of halal & other specialty food's for different cultures. Lacked the basics knew & expected from this chain. Clothing is not what comes to mind with this brand although that section was larger than the food! Off of Victoria Trail is a very decent location!

Staff were polite but frustrated due to the store being busy and lack of staff. The clerk indicated the head office didn't want to hire more staff. I waited for 10mins to checkout due to the lineup. This will not help with repeat sales for quick stops.

Sufficient parking. Several food options are in the same area. Prices are decent and sale prices are better than most places. Staff is friendly and helpful. Close to TTC bus stop for those that take public transit. Sale items are usually stocked right up to last day of the sale. Credit cards are accepted in addition to cash and debit. A variety of items are sold there from groceries to clothing.

Came here with my girlfriend after lunch. It's like a big bargain store. It was fun looking at how inexpensive some things were and how some things were overpriced. Not sure if I would buy food items here but it's nice they have a grocery section. Found a few sweaters for only $3.00 each in the clearance rack. Good deals for some things.

Today I bought these chocolate chip muffins from GT, I normally go to the upper Ottawa location but since I was in the neighborhood I figured I come check out this store. Went home and gave them to my baby because she normally loves muffins and noticed that she tossed them on the ground and showed no interest, so I tasted it myself and they had such a nasty flavour, and were stale as ever! I check the date and it expired in June (of 2021, this year). Just horrible! I didn’t think that I have to automatically check the expiration dates at giant tiger, because I normally love their store/products, guess I was wrong! Won’t be returning to shop at that store anymore! So disappointed..

I live right near this particular Giant Tiger location so I have tons of shopping experience here; I have been here many times and some of the employees have come to recognize and remember me over the past two years. I feel welcomed by them and they have been extremely understanding of my panic attacks, and went above and beyond their job duty a couple times when I've had severe trouble with my anxiety. I have never felt judged or recieved complaint or treated differently from them at all when I become socially awkward, or experience a particular inability to coherently speak due to my anxiety or the times I've done dumb things like forgotten my items and almost left without them or even leaving my money there! The time I have had to return a fan 3 times because it kept breaking wasnt the employees fault but is a possible nod to poor quality fans sold here and also a wheely canvass bag I bought broke quick too. The food section has good prices and fair selection except for the problem I have with the fact there are NO VEGETARIAN FROZEN FOOD OPTIONS. The shelve stockers are friendly. The people that greet you are friendly, the store is always clean and stocked, except I can NEVER find dish sponge wands, kitty litter shovels, and the female clothing section lacks tomboy clothes I dont like wearing spandex tights and old women tops and the pants, dont get me started why does the womens pants have no pockets? I want to wear casual comfy clothes and I want to find it at Giant Tiger because walmart and other stores are too far and i'm in poverty. Thank you for reading my review I'm going to Giant Tiger right now actually.

They have a ton of winter gear out right now the boots and jackets for in a variety of styles for a relatively low price they also have put more into their home decor area of the store and their toy section . Decent prices on many things. Staff are usually pretty good - not bad, but not remarkable. You have to be careful with food here though. Can be Freezer burnt or stale - guess you can't complain much with the prices. Most of the merchandise is really cheap too (in price and value, so shop wisely). Do have limited supplies of some things, or there is no stock at all. Some pallets were in the food aisles making it difficult with a cart. A good place to go, if you want to save some money and live in area - there isn't really much close by besides Londonderry Mall. I do like the Giant Tiger by Victoria Trail more. Better selection, and the staff treat you like a friend, as opposed to this one where they won't be rude, but only treat you as a customer. Also nothing blocking the aisles. Like this one, the one on Victoria Trail has same issues with food and products. Can't compare in that catagory.

They're milk is pretty low quality, the brand they provide has been known to go bad within a few days even when refrigerated. They have a lot of different thing for sale but with how small it is that's means ultimately there's less of everything. But it IS a good alternative to going to a giant grocery store, and finding what you need quickly.

Interesting selection. A bit tight for space but they get all their usuals in. This place can run as many as five cashiers at a time and does on occasion! Staff can be helpful when insufficient numbers are available on the shelf although the stock room will not always have more but they often know when and if more is arriving.

I love Giant Tiger. Grocery is cheaper but collection is not very wide. Some produces might not always be of high quality. However I love to browse their clothing collection. Comparatively cheaper but collection is good for a grocery store. I bought few work clothes and work out clothes. I like them. Friendly staff, fitting rooms, washroom are available. Parking is also available. It’s at plaza with Tim Hortons, Hakka and few other stores.

I like going to Giant Tiger to find special items. It's interesting to browse through out the store and sometimes you can find things that you might not find anywhere else. Or you find things that are for sale for a really good price. I find that the clothes are a tremendous deal. They're often offered at a very low price. In fact I have bought some clothes there that I really like. I think the clothes are probably of poor quality equivalent to Joe Fresh but sometimes they're very nice. So I recommend shopping there. I also find the employees to be very nice. I've always had very positive interactions with the employees. So I recommend shopping here if you're looking for clothes discount groceries housewares and a number of other things you might be looking for.
