I found the styling to NOT suite my body type, even though there is an in depth questionnaire. Clothing styles were "ok" but not as exciting as others made it out to be. Shoes appear to be of low quality. I received the first month around Christmas and it sat in my mailbox over the "5 day return time" before I even opened it! Definitely read the fine print. I am super disappointed First Subscription Box = Fail.

These stars must have been through friends ( they are all from St Albert not from internet orders ). I would rate a 0. Sent all back today, the stylist that sent my (bag) not a box BTW should learn that it's 2019 not 2014. They sent me a Pleather pair of pants in black and a a pair of shoes in beige that I would not wear and the quality is from the dollar store at best .Frock Box wanted to charged 49.99 lol for them. I also received a DEX sweater that was an off white and anything I could have bought at WALMART for an other 59.99. I had good communication with FrockBox before the 'BAG" arrived and and emailed and twittered them after saying what I said here ..NO RESPONSE..DON"T BUY . Unless .you like junk. FYI I also forwent the 24.95 styling fee .. DON't go here. I tried to upload pics .. would not allow. go figure.

The clothes have been hit and miss but I’ve kept at least one item from every box I’ve received. I’m plus size and they have a nice selection of non frumpy plus size clothes. Would recommend!

For anyone who knows me, I am not a fan of going clothes shopping, trying out a bunch of outfits and ending up buying similar things that I already own. FrockBox has given me a whole new shopping experience and... I am in LOVE! Not only do the clothing arrive in my mailbox, but I receive pieces I would NEVER even think of trying while out shopping. As we all know, time is money and with FrockBox, I save SO much time. Adding to my dislike of the regular shopping experience is now trying to navigate it during the pandemic. Needless to say, this is by FAR my favourite way to shop for clothing now. You pay for the designer fee. You choose which pieces you want to keep. The designer fee is "waived" when purchasing any item. You return all unwanted items for free. If you keep the entire selection, you get an additional 25% off EVERYTHING. I highly recommend trying this out.

I liked the idea because I don't like spending time in stores, but I have to admit I was a bit skeptical. Many of the styles I was seeing shared on Instagram weren't exactly mine. I gave it a try and my first set of clothes was beyond anything I could have expected. Don't waste your time bothering to fill out the style profile. Guaranteed that your "stylist" won't refer to it anyway. Paid $26.20 (with tax) just to send everything back. I think they looked at everything I said I didn't want and decided to send that. The clothing prices are astronomical for brands that aren't well known. I've never heard of any that were sent. Quality was comparable to Walmart. EVERYTHING sent was hand wash only. Save your money. Super disappointed.

I have received 2 Frock Boxes so far, both with discount codes. I was interested in a piece or 2 from each box but ended up returning everything due to prices. I did my second return in person and was interested to see the selection in store. I ended up purchasing a pair of cute Beast Fashion shoes. I’m glad I went in person! The staff were friendly and I will try for another month or two to see what surprises are in store for me. I think this would be great for someone who doesn’t like to shop or doesn’t have time.

The quality of items got worse every box, and despite attaching pinterest boards and sending detailed notes when I sent everything back, the fit and style got worse every time.The "stylists" didn't seem to have looked at any of the notes, feedback or pinterest boards I sent, and don't seem to be able to fit a curvy body - they even sent peplums, which I had explicitly asked not to get.

I love love love Frockbox! I get the Frockbox Favorites subscription box and honestly I am like a little kid waiting for my items to arrive each month. The excitement of seeing your Frockbox waiting for you as you open up that mailbox door, to opening it with anticipation of what fun items you get to try on....well it is so fun! What woman doesn’t want to have her own personal fashion show each month! I find Frockbox gets me out of my “typical” shopping selections for fashion and pushes me to try on things I normally wouldn’t. Now of course your not gonna love everything you get, but honestly there have been months where I selected most if not all of my subscription choices. And even if I don’t pick a piece they send me, I find it fun to just try that item on and see how it works on my body. It does truly open up your view on what fashions look good on you and what fashions just don’t work. Sometimes you get surprised at an item you normally wouldn’t try on in a store, you put it on and love it! Frockbox is wonderful too with their return policy for this subscription. Whatever items I don’t want I just fill out a quick form to let my fashionista see what I like and don’t like, which in turn helps them design my next box better! Then I put the items back in the bag they came in, put the completed form inside, attached the prepaid return label and then pop it into the mailbox! Easy peasy lemon squeasy! Right now I am gonna go check my mailbox for my Frockbox!!!!! Cannot wait to see my goodies for this month! So my review.....get it! Treat yourself honey! You deserve it.

I've tried this service for 7 months. I know it takes time to get things right, so I have made a very detailed pinterest board, lots of Notes to Stylist, lots of notes back about the items I get. I am frustrated that I seldom like more than one item, and that the notes I leave for the stylist are completely ignored. For instance, I've asked for a pair of jeans 3x and have never received one, nor received acknowledgment that I've asked for this item. If it's not possible, a quick note like "We don't do jeans too often, they are hard to fit" would at least assure me that my requests were being read. Last month I contacted customer service and was assured that they would pay extra attention to my requests and preferences, but here's another box without any jeans (or note) and with items that I've asked NOT to receive (accessories). Not impressed.

Overall I've been enjoying Frock Box and recommend it. They sometimes send me items I wouldn't necessarily choose for myself, which has allowed me to collect some cool pieces! Make sure you regularly communicate with your assigned Stylist. If your clothing preferences change, update your profile, tell your Stylist, and update your Pinterest board. Definitely tell your Stylist about pieces you don't like, either.

I have received multiple Frock Boxes. I like the mixture of different pieces that you receive. However, I do feel there are many areas of improvement needed. I feel like more attention towards client's desired preferences, styles, and pinterest boards is needed. I have received clothes in wild colour after specifying that I preferred neutrals. Also, some of the clothes are overpriced for the quality. Further, I have always wished there were discounts available if you keep just 3 or 4 of the items. Sometimes not all five fit, but you love the other pieces and face the dilemma of keeping them all to get a discount, or returning the ones you don't like or that don't fit but not getting any discount. In the end, I find it something that I used to look forward to each month and it was exciting to explore new pieces and add variety into my closet.

Great idea! Frockbox helped me branch out on some pieces I normally wouldn’t choose. I struggled with sizing though. I selected the smallest option they provide but several of the pieces they sent were still massive and considered Small. Also for the quality of the items, I found the price to be steep. One of my tops that I love and is super cute began to look a bit ratty after 1 day. At $39 I’m not a fan. I take great care of my clothes. Others though have held up!

I was really happy with the selection of clothes that I received and enjoyed the convenience of the items being delivered to my door each and every month. The process of signing up was simple and the return process was SO very easy. The only reason that I'm not giving a full 5 star review is because there was one occasion where I received an item that I'd already purchased the month before and a time when I asked specifically not to be sent any more high waisted jeans and then I received this item that month. These are small things and I would recommend that women give Frock Box a try! It was a really fun experience.

This is only my second month with Frock Box, but so far I'm pretty happy with what's been sent. There are a few disappointments in some of the clothes I kept as they are a bit far from what I specified I didn't want, but I've been able to make them work. I've only kept two items each time and sent the rest back because they are not even close to my style, but I like having the option of returning what you don't want. Hopefully September's items are all keepers ????

I’m super disappointed in this service. Yesterday, I went with my sister who is from 2.5 hours away. I had been following frock box on Facebook since it opened and was excited to finally have a chance to go in with her. We spoke with a woman yesterday who was in the shop with her two children and we were under the impression she was the owner. She told us they closed at 3 but was giving information on the services. She said my sister could come back at 9am to be measured and styled. She told us it would be a full staff and lots of time to help my sister find outfits she liked and be styled before deciding if we were going to sign up. My sister is a teacher and that was her last night off before school starts. She stayed in town to go this morning. I stayed home with my two kids. She arrived right at 9am and spoke to the actual owner who told her she was free to shop but she needed to go online and sign up and that the stylists work online. No measurements. No styling. So she left. Neither one of us wanted to sign up for an online subscription without seeing how the styling works. The woman who presented herself as the owner yesterday was in the back and didn’t even come out to discuss what she had told us yesterday. Neither of us will be shopping here. I’m really disappointed in how this transpired. I was so excited to support local but we will be taking our business elsewhere.

DO NOT BUY! I tried this out because I received a coupon from Hello Fresh. I thought because it was my first "Box" (it comes in a bag) that I would ONLY have to pay $24.95 and THEN if I continued I would have to pay the normal rates. They only give you 1-2 days before the "Cut off" to send things back. The clothes are so ugly and they DO NOT listen to your preferences, even the sizes they sent me were so big! I have e-mailed them twice now, still no response in regards to refunding my credit card or shipping the items back. OH and they charge a restocking fee....So Ridiculous. I already told my friends not to bother with this company.

I love this program! I just wish I had more money to buy everything they send me. At first I only liked maybe one or two items, but now that I've been subscribed to this services for around 6 months they are really starting to get my fashion sense. The clothing has mostly been of great quality and for comparable prices to places like the Bay. I really look forward to getting my package every month because they send me things I would never think to try, and I usually end up loving them! And as a curvy /plus sized girl it's nice to feel fashionable, and with out the stress or embarrassment of shopping in a store.

Really disappointing and not worth the cost. I had subscribed to their gold box which costs just shy of $100 per month which would include pieces that would make up an entire outfit. My one request was that the clothing be well fitted and geared towards petite women as I work in an office and looking put together is a requirement. I received a chunky-generic looking striped sweater that hung down to my knees and black jeans with thick elastic cuffs around the ankles that did not fit the rest of my body at all. As other reviews have said, not only did I feel my notes and pinterest board was ignored, but the items sent didn't seem worth the prices attached on the tags... I reached out by email and am really hoping to get a refund/be able to send my items back.

I love to get my Frockbox bag every month! It’s so much fun to get the surprise and to try on clothes in your own home and it’s really easy to just put back anything you don’t want and attach a label and just drop it in the mailbox. There’s no charge for shipping either way. They also have really fun Facebook lives and contests. You can really get it customized to your style.

This is a horrible subscription box. I hated everything I recieved. I was sent things that I specifically asked not have sent. I was charged for items I returned. Overall the worst box I have ever subscribed to and I would not recommend this to anyone.

.stuff that doesn't sell , I even got a size 22 womens Jean's sent to me and I wear a size 4 which I stated when I registered, The top they sent to pair with the Jean's would fit my 10 year old . Most of the clothing is dated

Frockbox is a fun subscription box to get new clothes every month. They send you a few pieces according to your preferences and you can choose any piece you want to keep and return the rest for free. I really like that we can link our Pinterest account with our Frockbox accounts so they can see what you like if you have a clothes board. I also like the feature to pause your account if you don't wish to get new clothes a certain month.

I absolutely love my monthly FrockBox! I signed up after starting in a new position at work last fall when I was nervous about going to the mall but also in dire need of a wardrobe update. Kaylee, the wonderful stylist who puts together my FrockBox has done a fantastic job of including dreamy pieces I’ve envisioned and shared lookalikes on my assigned Pinterest board, as well as things I likely wouldn’t have picked myself, but end up really liking! And the process is so easy - the package arrives quick, try the cute things on, and if you return anything it’s back into the bag and attach the included mailing label and drop it at the post office - done & done. I don’t see myself quitting this fantastic subscription any time soon. Plus it’s run by female Albertans, which I love as a female Albertan ;)

Love frock box! I chose it for my subscription clothing service because Its a canadian based company run by some powerful women and they have not disappointed. Their drive is inspiring. I love every box they send. Completely personalized. My stylist, April, works hard to push me out of my comfort zone (I asked her to!). I am dressing better and wasting a lot less time shopping and coming home empty handed. It's worth it!

Super great service, I usually end up with one piece per box that I love - they often surprise me! It does mean a lot of pieces don't fit well or maybe you don't like the colour, but that's true of normal shopping too! I'm just super thrilled that I don't have to bother with store trips and it keeps my wardrobe fresh.
