Normally I don't mind the store. They always go overboard asking if they can help ( like desperate for a sale - every passing employee asking a couple x each in a 10 min visit) but as the store's always empty when I'm there perhaps they're bored? Although slightly pesky I just brush them off & shop & with the store moving closer to my area, shop I have????????, spending a few hundred $$ in the last couple weeks on stuff for my son & I. Today, however, was unpleasant and had me leaving unhappy & empty handed. And not wanting to return. I had 2 employees on different sides of me following me and watching me, treating me like a shoplifter. And when I say on either side, I mean like right there a foot in front of me and a few feet behind me. They made it seem like I was going to grab all their stock and run for it or something. Why be that close every aisle I go in? Not only is it highly unprofessional but it's also dangerous with Covid going around. I had to stop and wait for the girl in front of me to move back just so I could keep looking through the rack!!
Now I'm a clean, well dressed, "preppy" style mom in her 40's. I don't drink/ do drugs nor do I look like I do. I understand, in this area of town, that they may want to discreetly keep an eye on shoppers but these two stayed within a few feet of me at all times. And like I said, I'd already spent a few hundred $ there in the past couple weeks so you'd think they would remember their recent customers? They made me feel so uncomfortable and I was so embarrassed. They made me feel like I was some scrubby thug that had no business being there. I know I'm only one customer but I'm a person that likes to spend money and never will my money be spent there again. I've never been treated so disgracefully and I'm appalled that any employee would ever treat any customer- preppy OR scrubby- the way that these people treated me.
Btw, I went to the next store down (Warehouse One) and spent almost $200, mostly for my son who seems to always be growing!! And not only was I treated properly but I left smiling AND laughing.
