So I had the good fortune of stumbling upon Paddye Mann’s studio in Packenham on a leisurely trip from Ottawa to Muskoka! Wow! Just wow! It was like an oasis. Her classic designs and quality custom work rival any I’ve ever had done. I found out afterward that she has a fellowship in the Royal Canadian Academy of the Arts! I can see why she’s a big deal. Her work is exemplary, which is what I’d expect from somebody on that level. Yet her manner is so down to earth and unassuming, it feels like you’re with an old friend. And to discover her in this little pocket of Ontario seemed as weirdly right as it was incongruent. Needless to say, I have made many return trips! Cannot recommend enough! Go Paddye!

Quite the surprise to highlight a wonderful job. I had asked Ms. Mann to make a special overcoat for my wife as a Xmas present. It couldn't be a surprise because she needed to be fitted for the coat, but it was promised to be ready for her this Xmas. I made a substantial deposit and expected to hear back Xmas week. I got the call yesterday that the coat was ready and when I picked it up I was told it would be $800 less than we had originally thought because she had managed to get the material from another supplier at a much better price! Who does that anymore?!? Anyway, thank you again. The coat is spectacular (I won't give it to her until Xmas day) and your integrity and professionalism just made my day. Thanks again. Tom.

Make certain you get a written quotes as she is not a person of her word. She charged me 2000 plus tax more than discussed. Also refused to reimburse and went back on her word of a credit. Many jewels on my jacket fell off at my son's wedding and it was embarassing paying 4500 for a dress and jacket. Jewels made pulls on my jacket. She slammed the phone in my face twice after wanting to discuss my credit. Very dishonnest person.
