AJ's is a Family run business, the girls are so helpful with ideas and costuming pieces. They have a fantastic selection of costumes & accessories for all kinds of dress up occasions for adults and children. Costume hire plus a bond is very reasonable with a refundable bond on costume return. There are costumes & acc in store for purchase also! We have been using this business for many years now, and year after year they never disappoint! They are local and have great hour's so please keep supporting them!!

Being over weight and well over 50 costume shops are something I like to avoid. If you not a size 10 and a pretty teenager then don't bother. This place however was an amazing surprise. They young lady could not have been more helpful. Everything I thought of they had something in my size and in the end I had too much choice and had to make a decision????. Thanks ladies.

If anybody wants a costume for any occasion then try aj's costume hire located in austin ave opposite bunnings warehouse kenwick You will not be disappointed they have just ABOUT every character you can possibly think of or close enough to it they will look after you in a big way and their prices are very reasonable so peoples give them a go and see what you think ????????????????

I went to go exchange an accessory, as my partner had bought the wrong one. The lady at the counter was very rude. I asked if I could exchange the item for the correct one and her response was "We don’t do that!" in a very rude tone. Immediately I got my back up and asked "why" she accused me of tampering with the item and pointed to a small sign behind the counter explaining no returns on items. No returns are fine but I didn’t appreciate the tone or rudeness, she was on a massive power trip! The worst customer experience I have ever had, first bad review I have ever left.

Really amazing range of costumes I'm in multiple sizings and styles. The customer service was great, she really goes over and above to help accessorise and get the look you want. And the pricing is GREAT. Starts at $33 to hire and then you just add on accessories, plus bits and bobs you can buy as well Highly recommend!

I had run out of time to get a costume for an end of year Christmas party. I popped into als costume hire on Tuesday 28 November and requested a chicken suit. Lol with no such items available I still walked out with a chicken head, white gloves, feather boa and red tights. The staff were excellent. I was done in 5 minutes flat and they suggested the op shop which is where I found the rest of my costume requirements. Thank you for the stress free experience!!
