Had wonderful experience at Best value. The motel have swimming pool that is neatly maintained and rooms are really nice and economically good. Staff are really friendly. I shall opt for Best value for my stay.

Nice cozy clean rooms, small town but a nice getaway from the busier city locations. The suite we got was very clean and the owner is very nice and went out of his way to answer our questions about the surrounding areas and provide recommendations on areas to visit! The suite was well equipped with everything we needed during our mini-stay over the weekend! Location was close to the grocery store, and the beach area is less than 8 minutes away. The pool was closed but might have to return here in the summer if Covid restrictions decrease.

Honestly the worst I have ever stayed at. Seriously considered sleeping in the Jeep with my daughter and dog. Was first given a room at the back, which is so filthy, it looks like a crack house. The inside of the room was filthy as well. Not sure what goes on there. The staff was pleasant and moved me to another room. Room much cleaner than the first two. No safety locks on the door. Hallways were littered with garbage and used towels laying on the floor. Stains all over the hallway floors. Smelled horrible.. Just don’t go there. I wish I could show pictures here. You’re welcome.

If I could rate poorer than one star I would. We stayed here as a hockey team for my sons tournament. The hotel is Dirty, or more accurately, filthy. The staff, contrary to many reviews I’ve read were rude and belligerent. When a crack pipe and paraphernalia was found in one of the rooms, the staff barely acknowledged the issue. In another room there was dried vomit on the comforter. In yet another room there was brown “splatter” all over the bathroom walls and toilet/shower. Another room had no light bulbs, another room had towels that had brown marks on them that were not stains (simply unwashed previous use remnants). Garbage everywhere. Unfortunately all rooms in town were booked due to the tournament. So made the best of it and invested in a lot of Lysol wipes and hand sanitizer etc.

I was instantly greeted with care from the staff. The place is just amazing for the price, its got clean rooms and it is a great friendly environment. And I can't get over how much the staff and owner is so kind and caring. Five stars all the way.

Beautiful century hotel. We loved our stay. Fantastic view of the waterfront from a jacuzzi suite. The room was cozy, welcoming and spotlessly clean. Staff was genuinely friendly and check in check out was quick and easy.

Dirty rooms...Dirty sheets Dirty carpeting.Dirty towels.Smelly hallways n lobby.Manager is absolutely rude and uneducated in customer service.Pool area Gross.I would nt stay here a minute let alone a night.I made the mistake of booking thru expedia and unable to get a refund.Outside of building looks likeva war zone ..Just do yourself a favour ..Do not stsy here....

Do not trust the pictures from the web page or ads. Worst hotel I have stayed at in Canada. Three decent size spiders in the room with me with webs on the curtains. Housekeeping picked up the towels and never replaced them. No shampoo, only conditioner and a bar of soap. Floor was swollen from water damage. Entry hallway smells bad enough that I hold my breath as i walk through it. Water hammer causes the pipes in my room to clang around when others in the hotel are using the water. All in all a very miserable experience. Cheap and still not worth it.

Booked this place accidentally, and they would not let me cancel so I was stuck staying here. Very old, warn, building, smells of mold fill the hallways, the room was big but the carpet had burn mark's allover it. The towels were tiny and old. The bed sheets had been slept in and I had to call to have them changed,. In the morning the breakfast was supposed to start at 6am, I left at 615. No breakfast. Stay away!!!!! ****To reply to your response. I will not ever be back, you say this experience is not the norm....... but a quick scroll down and anyone can see that it is.

This was absolutely disgusting. There was bodily fluids all over the side of the bed onto the floor, the pillowcases still had faces on them and the bathtub was black and moldy. We checked in at 12:00 and checked out less than 10 minutes later. The front desk person wouldn't even put his personal cell phone down to talk to me. Now they are avoiding the calls from Travelocity and I'm still trying to get my money back. I'm disgusted with this place.

Dirty room broken shower rod. Dirty floors had to wear sandals. Service was aware but didn't seem to care. Hot tub was gross and broken down. Pool was ok.. but my daughter had a reaction to her eyes from the water. Besides the paint peeling off the walls the free breakfast was continental.. for 150. I'm not going to stay again.

My family and I stayed here for one night out of desperation. First things first, we walked into our room and it smelt musty, then we noticed cigarette burns in that blankets, there was dirty wet socks in the bathroom. Then I open the side table drawer and see an old mouldy chip dip, garbage and USED LUBE. Then as we were going to bed we found yellow stains on the sheets, and my sister felt something crusty on the sheets. I don’t even want to imagine what it was. We were out the door at 5:30 in the morning. I advice no one stay in this dumpster fire of a motel.

PLEASE DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the nastiest place I have ever been. Garbage piled in hallways and stains everywhere! Didn’t even want to take my shoes off or touch anything it was so gross! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

The stay was good. My girlfriend and I stayed for one night heading home. We arrived to a very interesting individual telling us not to bother because the man at the front was " a lair and going charge us extra." So I was on edge going in. We started by asking to cancel our last minute reservation, assuming that wouldn't fly. The man kindly said no and I basically started to explain that the woman outside worried me I was going to be charged extra and that I don't want to risk that. He, again kindly, explained that people are going to say what they want after certain situations and that he didn't want to talk about another customer interaction with me. Which is professional of him. After a few minutes speaking I basically got the understanding he was just trying run the hotel and that he knows it is what it is but he does what he can. I feel for him and that fact that people can tell one side of reviews here and that can crush him especially as big hotels move north. I will be honest the room is not perfect and his price is a little high for what it is at the moment but improvements can't be made with out extra money. The bed was extremely comfy and he was a fantastic person to deal with. As more people give him a chance the place will improve. Enjoyable stay, will probably stop again. And will make the recommendation to friends and you as well

First impressions not good from the outset. But desperation on our part vehicle with mechanical failure towing a trailer on the highway. I had two opportunities to bail and wished I had but managed well anyway. Bearing in mind also traveling with a dog and needed a place to park trailer while seeking vehicle repairs so this location did check those boxes. I have to assume this hotel had a recent management/ownership change and are challenged with staff all around and family members/friends have a lot to learn to support. To Look clean and smell clean are two very different things. Look clean was well done. Likely this was a beautiful "value" hotel with an inviting indoor pool and patio unique for this north location. Pool and patio seem well maintained. Remember at these times not to complain about who shows up for work. Pricey considering no breakfast but great location next to a mall and 3 restaurants, Timmy's and subway plus a No Frills. Proper cleaning chemicals for floor would solve pungent urine smell in bathroom plus remove shower curtain and wash/soak in Oxy and or white vinegar, it would be grand and solve bacterial smell! I am a person with very little sense of smell! Says something! All in all waited out a terrible rain storm. Vehicle fixed and off for glamping!

After walking into my room and seeing how dirty it was I asked the manager to be moved to another room. He showed me two additional rooms that were equally as filthy and they all smelled awful. Black handprints all over the door and walls, stained and threadbare carpet, stains on the bedding. I asked for my money back, which was given without hesitation. The manager was friendly and pleasant to deal with but I have never seen dirtier rooms.

Doors had air gaps had to use the bed spread to block the air. Some mold on the shower wall. Poor front reception.

My family is moving cross country and are presently at this inn. We arrived late last night and were very lucky they had a vacancy. We just meant to stop for a quick rest, but our trailer has a flat tire and, when roadside assistance was estimated for a couple of hours past checkout, my husband ran down to the front desk to ask if anything could be arranged. They were very flexible and accommodating. They did not charge us for another day but allowed us to continue to wait in the room with our young children, who would not have been very understanding about being strapped in to their car seats, waiting and going nowhere for hours.

Nice clean room with everything you needed coffee pot, fridge, microwave, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and if you needed anything all you had to do was ask at the front desk. I needed a spoon for my coffee. The owners are really nice. Went on a few excursions today and came back and our room was cleaned with fresh towels. We did not get the free breakfast due to covid but they suggested a nice restaurant next door. The only thing they could improve on is the stair goings outside could use a good shampooing.

The room was dirty Desperate need of renovations air conditioning could not cool the room worst room ever the towels from the previous guest were still in the room and dirty I could hardly wait to check out slept with my clothes on so I didn’t catch anything Both safety latches on the front and back door were broken as if someone tried to break in the room and they were not repaired

Its a place to sleep, bathroom smelled like a locker room and overall cleanliness was sub par to other places ive stayed. Went there in a pinch and it served a purpose but i wouldnt reccomend using the place as a vacation spot.

I must say the team working here really goes above and beyond. The fella that was helping us during our stay was so wonderful. He really was very accommodating. He made our stay pleasant. They offer service with a smile. During our stay we had the luxury of using the pool and that was the cherry on top for us. Thank you again for the great stay. Such great value.

Friendly family run business willing to please . I would say the room was rustic, dated , but clean. Doors had a solid lock and safety catch .Bed was clean and comfortable. Rooms in the back seemed to be rented out on a monthly basis, so clients used parking lot as hang out area. Sound of dogs barking and slamming doors . So if your looking for a quiet peaceful place the back part is not it. So ask for room in the forward part of building . However after hours quieted down . I was staying on a Tuesday, So I suspect weekend might be different , might want to check for hotel policy on partying at the parking lot.

Well...after driving 5 hours with a toddler...went in to the lobby to check in was a bit sceptical by the odour but checked in anyway...when entering the room it too had an odour there was garbage and gum on the floor in the bathroom stains on the comforter. I went to the lobby to get refunded my money arguing with the staff to get my money back...they advised me they would give me 1/2 my money or a new room. Well folks would you want another digesting room..took the 1/2 refunded and went else where for the same price. Horrible experience!!!!

Filthy room , stained bedding , opened the microwave to heat up dinner to find a halfdrank bud light and pizza pockets . Staff cleaned the room, and by cleaned they grabbed the beer can and pizza pockets and disposed of them , no cleaning .The parking lot was icy and dangerous . Will not be staying here any longer then needed

Nice hotel. We love our stay. The building is old but when you get to your room is very beautiful, big sized rooms. Comfy king bed. The owner/manager very, very friendly is ready to help you at any times. If you have any issues go and talk to him. We stayed at top room corner /last. We saw deer all over from our top window. We enjoyed the pool and it’s short walks to amenities. Norfrills, Dairy Queen and more..we walked and discover the neighboorhood.. great place. Will stay here again no doubt.????

Be very careful if considering this inn! The building is extremely run down and needs so many repairs. Wall paper and part of the ceiling was coming down in our room. Shower water does not drain properly and the water creeps up your leg while showing. The back of the inn is rented to people who can not find affordable housing. Wires handing down from the roof. Painter's tape on door frames. Generally a dirty building. The manager/owner was rude and belligerent when discussing our concerns. For the same price could have stayed at a more reputable hotel. I would think more than twice about staying there!
