I would not recommend this store for consignors. In my experience for the 2020/2021 fall and winter season, there was a very serious lack of clear and consistent communication throughout the entire process. For example, I was told by Chelsea that anyone can respond to your email even though it is always signed as "Valerie" (the owner?) and I discovered that not all employees have the correct information. One employee told me to check "myresaleweb.com" for an update on my items, but later Chelsea told me they don't even use this website. How can an employee who responded to my email get it so wrong? As of today, their website has a "Consignment checklist" which I had thoroughly read before dropping off my footwear and nowhere on the website, or at the time of drop off, did they tell me that the boxes for the brand new footwear would not be returned to me. So after the season ended and I retrieved my unsold footwear, the boxes were gone along with the replacement heels that were inside. As a result, what were brand new boots with the boxes and replacement heels at drop off, came back looking like they were used and with no boxes. Also, when I was retrieving my items, not only did they give me a wrong shoe, but they couldn't find another pair (note that owner promised to look and reimburse me the commission if they couldn't find them). In addition, when I went to pickup the unsold items, the owner gave me a dirty look when we were discussing our previous emails on the timing of my pickup. That was completely uncalled for and was upsetting to me. I understand that they deal with a large volume of consignors each season, but this does not warrant treating a consignor like they are bothering you. Without us, you would not be in business and we deserve much more respect than this. I think it's time this store re-examined their website, communication skills, employee training, and inventory management process.
