Here you will be able to see the reviews of people who bought the services of Plato's Closet - Oshawa, ON (Costumes) in the territory close to Oshawa (Canada).
To this day this business has a score of 3.9 out of 5 and the score was based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that the average score it has is very positive, and it is based on a very large number of feddbacks, so we may think that the evaluation is quite accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to set feddbacks when these are correct and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Costumes is included in the category of Used clothing store.
Interesting selection of items but needs more variety in style and type of clothing
Pricey for a thrift store, though it's pretty much because they only sell really trendy or brand-name items. still kind of promoting fast-fashion, but i guess in a way that is more digestible and "reasonable".
Amazing! Everytime I'm in there I always find something I didn't know I needed!
Ive sold and bought a few clothing items here. Its a great place and serves a great purpose! Thank you for openning your business!
The quality and cleanliness of the clothes and great prices made me a regular!
I'm not one to give reviews but I highly reccomend erryone to stay away from this store. I don't care about how the staff is I just cared about the money I was receiving and the fairness of the place. So first time I went I brought in a duffle bag of clothes, also with 1 pair of Radii high tops and another pair of Nike gym shoes. I received $35, now I wasn't really mad at the time because I didn't care about the things I was selling them at all. But the second and last time I went in I brought in a duffle bag of more stylish clothes that I was debating on even giving to them with 2 pairs of shoes, creative recreations and DC lowcut shoes. I also tossed in a stainless chain, they told me to come back in 2 hours so they could look at it and decide how much. So I left, went back 2 hours later and they tell me that they are only taking my 2 pairs of shoes and the chain. Now before I tell you what they gave me for it im gonna tell you how much I paid for these 3 things, Creative recreations- $60 worn like twice in perfect condition... DC low tops- $50 even cleaned them before I went... Stainless chain $24.99 worn twice.... For about $135 worth of things they gave me $16. They asked if it was okay and I don't know what was wrong with me that day to have said yes but I told myself I would never return, and maybe try to save other people from going there as well.
This store is soooo good it's bad! Its sooo easy to spend money here. The store is clean and they have an awesome collection. Don't go on a time crunch you will want to spend all day in there.
It's cool to have a thrifty second hand store, just not worth it to sell stuff to.
I made a recent stop to sell some used Levi jeans. I understood the policy of '1-1.5 years and under' but I always have believed in Levis being classics. I brought in mainly men's boot cut (two skinny leg women's style). I was told that none would be purchased, that they were all too old. Kind of blew me away. I would think staying trendy would be difficult, as trends come and go so quickly, how can a secondhand store stay on top of that? Seems everybody would be dumping last season's trend. While walking around the store, I found some Levis very similar to those I had brought in, thought that was a good sign. How do you know exactly how old Levis are? Ditto Converse. They are classics too, and there were some on the racks, but are they also under 1.5 years old? I have a ton of Converse. Maybe you have decided that Levis are just a no-go, too "old". I will say, your effort to answer every comment on here is really amazing, how great that you as the owner are so accessible. That is wonderful.
Love how this store sells name brand clothing like adaias, garage, Nike, tommy hilfigier, tna, holister, and lulu lemon for cheap!!!!! Absolutely in love with this store!! The customer service is awesome!
My visit here wasn’t unpleasant until I noticed that I was treated differently than some other customers. I’m not going to claim the reasoning as to why my personal experience was different - I just know I was told my bag of folded clothes had to be brought in a bin if I wanted to sell (which is fair due to their new COVID policy) and shortly after two ladies back-to-back also with bags of clothes were given in-house bins to place their items. I don’t know their relationship, but I probably won’t be returning to this location after seeing that. I also thought it was petty for the associate to tell me to buy a bin from Walmart vs just asking me to come back with my clothes in a bin. Idk I just didn’t feel welcomed by this one associate and it rubbed me the wrong way.
This location is NOT the best. when i first went in i noticed their very large athletic wear section and i thought it was great seeing as i wear a lot of athletic clothes. They have really nice athletic wear and that’s the only reason i gave it two stars. The rest of the store is confusing. when i sell to plato’s closet they always tell me, we don’t take clothes that have been purchased over a year ago, we looks for hip clothes (can’t looks outdated) and can’t have slight stains or have been harshly worn, AND YET THEIR SELECTION OF CLOTHES HAVE ALLLL OF THAT. they have old lady clothes and the ugliest “up to date items.” i bought a pair of jeans the other day that were filled with cat hair and it didn’t even faze me. Clearly each employee who buy clothes from you have very different ideas of what’s worn, hip, outdated etc.. because that store is a disaster. I brought in a gym shark shirt that was $50 and i bought it two months ago.. such a petty gym shirt but it was one size too big for me.. the girl looks at it and seemed like she had never seen the brand before and offered me $2 for it. You are better off selling on verage sale of marketplace on FB. I saw cheap ardennes leggings that were going for $15 and they wanted to sell gyms-hark for $9. it’s laughable. They also aren’t taking tank tops or long sleeves shirt right now because they are apparently overstocked but i was told that what i brought in was really nice and i should bring it back in a couple months when they need it, but my they bought tank tops and long sleeves off of my mom the very same day :)
love this store, great way to recycle clothes. love the clothes they sell and the prices. I recommend this store to everyone i know!
I always enjoy shopping here. The staff are friendly. The store is clean. They have a great selection of men’s clothing that my boyfriend enjoys as well.
This is my new little shopping spot before I hit the malls. I've found great items here. I purchased a great pair of Sam Edelman heels ($20) and a Body Glove workout hoodie ($18).
Great second hand clothing and apparel store with some brand new items with tags. Wide selection of name brand clothing for all seasons. Footwear for all sizes and weather. A great selection of handbags and accessories. Some beauty supplies and custom made masks were on display today. I purchased an entire fall wardrobe for my daughter today from the 90% off clearance rack and paid under $20.00. They will buy your gently used mens and women's clothing and accessories as well, apply the credit to your bill and take advantage of the great prices.
Get all of my clothes here! Great quality and prices.
I brought two huge boxes full of clothes, including some that have never been worn and some that were brand name. They went through it and only wanted 2 pairs of shoes ... they told me some stuff seemed worn but I thought that was weird since the shoes they took seemed a bit worn. Just kinda bummed I drove all that way for $4.10 ... I looked around and some of the stuff seemed nice, just not worth any kind of drive tho.
I had 2 bins full of name brand Jean's jeezy Jordan's from this year leather jackets some Jean's never worn others cost 200 to 600 dollars. And these ppl told me my things was dated ???? U waste pols time to come to ur store to sell there things . For u to tell them ur things r dated ??? I had jeans that I got 2019 in there costing over 300 and its dated . Maybe ur employees should dress up to the time before they call other ppls things dated . I would not tell anyone to go to this store and waste there time ....
Amazing second hand and brand new clothes great deals and good prices!!!! Don't miss out get there and go shopping find the perfect outfit or shoes or boots in Ur budget without going broke
I'll give 4 stars. The 4 stars is to the clothes and the pricing. I didn't give a full 5 stars only because I took some clothes in that were worth a good chunk of money and didn't get a decent pricing about it. But honestly for the rate they sell the stuff at, I can understand. But I love this place, and have already recommended it to many of my friends.
Great Brand name items...lots of variety. ....I always drop in when Im in the neighborhood. ..good finds...♡
Went in a few times and always thought the store was quite messy, decent amount of clothes but very little for men. I went in a while ago with some of my old items, mostly men's summer items as well as a jean jacket and a brand-new zooyork spring jacket. They only wanted a few of my items, which was fine as I was planning on donating the rest anyways, however they wanted to give me less than twenty dollars for the jean jacket and the zooyork jacket, which were both way more than 20 dollar each retail. Was kind of confused as to why they were going to give me so little. I left without taking the money. Perhaps I'll try selling online.
Worst experience ever. I called a head of time to find out what they were buying i asked for detail and briefly explained what i had to sell. I was told thats what they buy. It wasnt a short drive so i wanted to make sure before I made the trip. I have sold to several platos closet across Ontario, and I always check before I go because the season changes. I was greeted when I came in the door and my bags were taken from me. I was given a 30 min wait estimate. Fair. Now I am never under the impression that they will buy everything, but usually if its in good condition and in style they tend buy it. I watched the girl (with glasses) take my bag and go through it. She was making faces and remarks as she was going through the bag. I would of said something, but the store was very busy. My bags were back and I went to collect. They picked 4 things and wanted to give me $13. Out of the 4 things were two guess tops including guys and Nike shoes. I asked as to why the didnt buy some stuff the girl at the counter was to help just kept saying, "I dont know, I didnt go through the buy" She explained what they bought and i pulled a few things out to show here (white pants, crop tops, ) and asked how they were not considered. She gave no response. What really pissed me off is that they took one crop top and not any of the others that were identical but a different colour (no stains or wear) very frustrated i took my stuff and left. This is hands down the worst Platos closet location. The staff are rude and not trained properly. Save your stuff and time and go up to New Market.
I like the selection they have. I find that the price they give me for items versus what they charge is skewed quite a bit. A little overpriced for the quality sometimes but I usually find something when I go
Told me that all the clothes I tried to sell were useless and out of date.. They didn't even look through my bag of stuff. The staff makes you wait over an hour just be told no in an extremely rude manner
I recently heard about this place . Went there to check it out. Wow they have variety of selections. Excellent service.????
Clothes for all ages, quality used upper scale and fairly priced! Highly reccomend them
Good selection for clothes, you're sure to find something. Friendly staff!
Some good deals, but they rip you off buying your clothes and the girls who work there are pretty snobby.
Store tried selling me a fake supreme sweater... I don’t even think the person knew it was fake.. but if you want to bring in high end “street wear” brands you have to be knowable in the products. It was a hoodie that was never even produced by supreme! Be wary of this shady lil spot
Honestly I'm so disappointed with this store. I bring in literally bins FULL of clothes that are still very much in style, either new or gently used and in great shape and they take ONE item, explaining that it is either out of style or 'old'. Meanwhile they have items on their racks that I wore 8 years ago. Also, staff always seem to be re-hanging things on the rack without the care or acknowledgement of the customers; they just get right up in your personal space, no excuse me or anything. They have good prices for some of their products but I am just so done with shopping here.
Very friendly staff and a good selection of clothing. I prefer their method of "holds" on Instagram than many other of the Plato's. I've gotten some nice stuff via social media.
Lots of young ladies and girls wear and a decent but not at all spectacular men's and boys selection. The good thing is most the clothing still has original tags and labels attached. Great name brand selection too. Definitely not what I call a secondhand or thrift store.
Great prices on brand named clothes
My new favorite place to thrift shop. Never knew it existed but I'm very glad I found it.
Friendly service bought and fantastic coat for my granddaughter love this store telling all my friends and family even though we live out of town its a must visit store
First time I brought in clothes to sell they told me 15 minutes , after 2 re- visits they told me it wasn't ready, It took an hour to process 2 dozen jeans. Second time it will be done in 30-40 minutes .It took an hour I didn't wait, went shopping and had lunch. Please just tell us the truth It will take an hour , Honesty is better.
Definitely aims for a younger crowd and the brands they chose to sell reflect that.
Very shocked by this place , no sorry insulted
You can NEVER go wrong with this place!!! I picked up a Brand New Pair of Perry Ellis Jean's, and a lightly used pair and paid.... $6.50 FOR BOTH!!!! You can get some INSANE DEALS HERE AT TIMES!!!!
I brought in a basket full of clothes and four shopping bags of high end shoes. Half of the shoes have never been worn. I was told it would take approx. 45 minutes, so I decided to look around the store. 45 minutes passed and when I went up to the counter she said it's not done. Two hours passed & I was extremely annoyed. When I went up to the counter she tells me that it's been done for awhile now. They offer to take some of the shirts and the four bags of shoes for $45. I get the majority of the clothes back because they have too much that's similar. Would've been nice to know that they are overstocked BEFORE I took the clothes in & wasted two hours standing in the store. I'd rather give my things to the Salvation Army for nothing than take $46 for all of those shoes. Never going back & never recommending anyone to bring their clothes in because you'll get ripped off.
I loved this store up until my recent visit. Were the woman behind the counter was so rude to my wife. Other than this brunette. The rest of the staff are great.
Love there low prices I always asking to go back. Great Job
not bad.... they have some nice stuff, but a lot of it is out of fashion and outdated???? as someone in their teen years I can say that a lot of the shirts would be worn by older women trying to look young ???? but overall not too bad
Good for finding nice stylish brand name clothes cheap, but they will not even give the proper % worth when giving them the clothes in perfect clean mint condition and some with tags still worth 90$ all 4 items each they tried to give me 3$ for it... and turn down alot of stuff they often beg for people to bring in... not to mention have been rude and not wanted to give the clothes back one time because they were plus sized and it was what they were desperate for.... and told me I could take the pay of 3$ or leave it as she pointed at the clothes in the bin. Fine to shop here but if you wanna trade your clothes in, I'd just sell the clothes yourself first then go.
I discovered this location about a month ago and was impressed by the selection of well chosen clothes they choose to buy and sell. Nothing trashy-all very well maintained and up to date in styles. Great pricing too! (Value Village has become a terrible rummage with sky high pricing through donation!) I went back in this week with a garbage bag full of my plus sized clothing, bags and shoes, left for an hour until they called me to let me know the buy was done and when I arrived was pleasantly suprised that they were interested in 90% of what I'd brought in and i made a great chunk of cash on my first sell to them!! I'll definitely be back!
Really nice clothes at this store. It's one of the best thrift stores, you can find clothes ranging from 5$ too. This is the place for all your trendy clothes that you may not find at other stores, there's nothing vintage here. Definitely recommended. You can also sell your good as New clothes here for a good price!
I bring in high quality clothes and receive under 5.00 for something never worn with tags! AWESOME! thanks :)
My go to clothing store!! I love the styles and how easy it is to find something I like
Just sold 2 bags worth of clothes and although the math indicates every piece was "worth" a couple of dollars on average, these pieces would have been donated for free anyways. The owner was very friendly and did not pressure me to sell anything I decided to keep. They also have a good selection of items at a great price. Will definitely return!
Such a joke of an establishment. They need to get over themselves and realize they’re a USED clothing store. Brought in a bag full of all named brand , wide variety clothing ( sweaters, shirts, jeans, etc). Took two items out of the bag and offered me $6.00 for both shirts. Don’t waste your time at this place. Save it and simply donate it or sell it online. Honestly don’t know how this place has clothes. Telling me they’re worn and not “in style”. First of all, EVERYONE has different taste in clothing. Second, they are worn, because they’re USED clothing. And i will complain if i have an issue, I’m a customer, treat me as such. Don’t tell me to keep my voice down. Your customers should know what kind of business you run. Will not be returning. Wish i could give zero stars, as they don’t even deserve one.
Good quality but the store has lowered their quality standards
I love Plato's closet. The owner and staff are amazing and so are the prices!! Very organized and such a big variety of clothing to go through. I never have to wait for a change room either. I've been shopping here since they opened and it's always a great experience!!
I can never leave this store empty handed. Tons of great selection at very affordable prices.
I've been there three times, and each time they've only taken a few of my things. Keeping in mind, I've made sure each piece of clothing has been in good condition and a lot of them were brand names. The lady in front of me in line, brought in 2 bins full of clothes and they didn't accept a whole bin.
Love this store! I always had a great experience with both selling and purchasing! Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful!
Don't bother taking your clothes here unless they are upscale brand name items still in style. Just donate them. You'll feel good and help someone. The few dollars you might get aren't worth it.
My experience at this store is always pleasant, and i have sold and bought from this store multiple times. Ive met and chatted with the owner once when his pickering location opened.such a kind person, and his staff reflects that as well. People need to remember this when selling.. they are here to run a business, this is not donation store where they take your unwanted clothes because you want to make a quick couple dollars. Imagine if they took anything and everything, you wouldn't be able to find nicer brands like aritzia, zara, gymshark, adidas and etc for a reasonable price. If you dont like what they offer, simply reject and post it on fb marketplace.
They don’t have many larger sizes or plus sizes like they do at the stores in the city I also find their items priced at a significantly higher price bracket
Great way to pick up some cash for cleaning out your closets
Very organized and stylish clothing...was disappointed the didnt have much plus size clothing...but all in all a nice place
This store is great it’s like being a kid in a candy store but for adults. You can always find good deals and brand name stuff for really good prices. I’ve never sold my clothes here but buying items I give it a 10/10
Not impressed, takes only 1- 1.5 yr items, I can buy them at outlet store why would I buy at a used clothing store, some of the stuff shouldnt be sold, sports bras and really worn running shoes. I took my stuff and left the item I was going to buy. Wont go back, run by kids.
I really liked Plato's closet prior to the pandemic. After the pandemic started they started selling things online which is great. They ended up removing the online option eventually, however the pandmeic is still ongoing so I'm not sure why. The reason for 3 stars is because they removed the online shopping option which would be more ideal for people during a pandemic and also because I was told by a staff member they don't steam the clothes. Since they are used and every other clothing store literally steams the clothes every time someone tries them on I was kind of surprised they take clothes from anyone and just throw it on the rack for people to try on. Seems irresponsible. Tried on clothes should be steamed and all new clothing coming into the store should be steamed. I won't go here until they put in better covid practices. If I geta a response on this comment and the information I got is incorrect and they do follow the standard practices all other clothing stores are following I'll change my review. Even when I return clothes to a store now they get me to put it in a bag and it goes in quarenteen , then they steam it before it goes back out. I don't get why they wouldn't follow suit.
I went to Plato's closet to sell clothes purses shoes and jewelry. I had a big rubberr bin and a box of stuff all plus sizes! Everything in excellent condition and some items with tag still attached or have never been worn. Among my items were Jessica, Additional, Penningtons, Reitmans and Tommy Hilfiger purse and name band shoes all the jewelry was costume jewelry but in excellent condition! They refused all my items because they don't carry those sizes!! This is after the store clerk told me all my stuff was beautifu! I was disgusted because first of all not all young ladies fit into Lululemon or Guess! They do advertise that they carry xxl but good luck finding anything in that size. trust me I looked around! I feel like it is discriminating against plus size girls! I would not recommend this store to anyone. I was truly upset because plus size clothing already cost a lot of money so for a young person to be able to go to a thrift store and buy nice clothing in plus sizes should be available especially for being a thrift store!!! So the moral of the story, is all you curvy beautiful women don't waste your time going to this so called thrift store!
Loving this place!! Always has the best finds and for good prices and all the staff is super sweet!!
Plato’s closet is an amazing store,. The clothes and accessories they have are practically brand new and you can’t beat the prices. No mater what type of style you are looking for I can guarantee they have it. Staff their are so polite and helpful they treat all customers with kindness and make sure you have the best deal! I highly recommend you check Plato’s closet for your next shopping spree. They sell all name brand clothing for a affordable price. What more can I say. Get your friends and family together and go getcha some good deals! Definitely my go to store, always something new everyday. P.s They also buy lightly used clothing, change it up and trade your clothes in for something new. Awesome!!!!
I love this store. Every time I go to this store i always end up buying at least one thing and trying on about 10. Great selection.
Amazing customer service and the girls are so funny and helpful! I was in on Tuesday early afternoon and these girls had me cracking up! It was my first time in the store and I will tell my whole family about it! Thanks girls for an amazing first impression and a great laugh during a difficult time!!
I don't know why I keep bothering to even try to sell men's items. I'm not bring in office or formal wear. Really nice Timberland sweater even rejected. It's also said to be usually too old a style, are t shirts ever old style? Ridiculous. I've had it buying and selling to them, waste of time. May have better luck but I'm out.
Amazing deals, high quality clothes for very cheap. You have to look but always come away with a find.
Nice staff and friendly service. Amazing deals on clothing and decent brands
My absolute fave place to shop, always the most current styles, helpful staff and they host a ton of in-store specials and sales. I never leave disappointed!
Found what I was looking for. Great prices. Very nice helpful staff.
They take clothes for a good price and they have amazing clothes for amazing prices! Better than value village!!
Best store ever....owner is very nice...amazing shoe collection...love it
This location isn't exactly one of my favorites. Their selection is great on athletic wear but besides that I never really find much. Their priced decently and are organized which I do like, I just simply wish they had more variety.
Brought two FULL bags in, received only one back, yet they only bought one article of clothing from me. Shady in the Schwa!
I am very unimpressed with the staff at this store. I have never had such bad service from individuals with poor people skills and lack of care and work ethic. I called to clarify and confirm before I spend time and money to travel from Port Hope to this location in Oshawa. I called December 6th at 10:33am. The owner should replay this phone call. I clearly stated I want to sell a new pair of boots, original tags and box. Yes, Plato's buys boots, bring them by and if we like them, we will offer you half the price on the tag. I asked her again to clarify that she had said HALF THE PRICE OF WHAT IS ON THE TAG, because it was too good to be true. Also stated that they are $139.99 pair of boots. At this point she said Yes, again, as long as Platos will buy them. When I arrived at the store I spoke initially to a dark haired girl in all black. The first thing I said when I arrived was Hi, I called earlier, and I was told you offer half of the price on the tag for new boots. She responded that she needed to look at them first and it would be a 15 minute wait. I waited. 20-25 minutes later I was called upon and offered $35 for the boots. I asked why I was told over the phone that Plato's offers half the price on the tag. Oh but Plato's sells your items for half the price on the tag, therefore they will offer you a 1/4 of the price. And with these boots, they would only sell them for $70, less then half, so I would only be getting $35. I then asked why I was not told this when I walked in the door 25 minutes ago and asked the same thing I asked when I spoke to an individual on the phone a few hours before. I did not get an apology for the inconvenience that I was caused. I was appalled by the attitude and immaturity of the girl behind the desk in response to this situation.
Store is tidy, and there's always a great selection of items! It is extremely well kept by the staff. You do need to try hard to get the staff's attention when wanting to check out or try on clothes.
my name is Wendy and i would like to say that i love love love this store. Each time i go i find the best and most amazing deals and items. girls are very nice, and the owner is a very nice gentleman as well over all if i could give the store 100 stars i would :) i hope you never ever go out of business....
The Good - I brought a bag of items and they took...2 small cross body Nine West bags about 6 years old but in good condition, a Michael Kors bag which had lost a lot of its shape, a 5 year old TNA knit, a basic dress from Forever 21 that I paid about 15 bucks for and a pair of flat sandles from a store in the U.K. that I never wore. They didn't take a vintage silk dress,a Pink Tarten dress, a sweater from Top Shop and a few small things from River Island (a British store). They gave me just under $90 for my stuff which I was more than happy to accept because these items were going to be donated before I heard about this place. The Bad - they said it would take about 20-30 min so my friend and I started looking around the store, the employees didn't seem to be doing much just standing around talking for about 15 min and there was 3 of them. One checked my friends things, called her over and offered her money for most of her items which she was happy about. Then she disappeared and mine sat there for about 20 more min then someone checked mine, it took just over an hour. It's not a big deal but it's not great service and makes the store itself seem unorganized. My friend and I also found a lot of the inventory they were selling was very worn, pulls and piles on tops, tights with small holes in them and badly faded jeans. They did have a lot of shoes, jackets and accessories that were in good condition but they could probably benefit from being picker with the quality of the items they take. Also the staff didnt seem to have a great knowledge of brands and designers. They passed on a dress from Pink Tarten stating they only bought popular brands that were well known. I had a little chuckle and gave the dress away to a friend. If you have a realistic idea of what your used clothes that you no longer want are worth then this place will be great. If you think you are going to get hundreds of dollars for non high end designers names your going to be disappointed and if you do have high end designer stuff I would say take it to a Toronto consinment store you will get more than you will in Oshawa as there is more traffic.
I think they should buy your clothes for a bit more money especially if they are brand name items, shoes and bags.
IMPORTANT: Do not waste your time trying to EVER sell clothes here. They literally turned down an entire box of my clothes because they weren't in "style" and also "too worn" which is so funny to me because they are a thrift store and idk what they expect instead ??? They have terrible sense of style because my clothes were 100% cute and my only reason to donate my clothes to them was because they didn't fit and I didn't have enough room in my closet. Also, people thrift to find vintage pieces and also 90's looks all the time so idk if they want urban planet or if they want Marciano ??? My clothes were all branded from zara to nike and I even threw in a MK wallet...Also, half their racks were filled with tacky clothing and nothing that you couldn't find at a local value village. I saw all the terrible reviews on google as well as yelp and I STILL gave them the benefit of the doubt and wasted so much gas and time. I will be spreading the word about my terrible experience here. I advise anyone looking into go here, DON'T bother. You can thrift on thread up and poshmark instead, save yourself the disappointment.
The staff were nice and everything but they don't know how to buy and sell clothes here. Not the place you want to sell anything that has any real value, go to Kenshi or something if you have vintage preme ect.
Nice clean store, helpful staff. Would shop there again. ????????
We always find good quality clothes at great prices here. They have great selection of clothes in a variety of sizes (including plus sizes) and accessories and shoes too! If you are a "thrifter" this is a must stop.
Such a great spot! I can bring my old clothes in, and while I shop they figure out a price for my old stuff and put the money towards the total of the new stuff I find. Which I always find something at Platos! I highly reccomend going if you're looking for brand name clothes for amazing prices.
Went to the store for the first time. Some of the prices for used clothing are out rages. You’re better off spending a few extra dollars and getting the same item brand new. Also not sure who would wear bathing suit, bras and shoes that are used. Not very hygienic at all. Some of the stuff had a price point that is fair. Most of the stuff is overpriced.Quite a bit of stuff in there also seemed outdated and not relevant to recent fashion trends. The concept of the store is not bad however, they pay you pennies on the dollar for what the item is actually worth.
