Super friendly staff and when stock wasn't available at the Oakville store, the owner quickly resolved the issue to transfer the shoes from Milton. The staff was super patient and I tried on many styles and sizes and helped me find the best fit. Bought 2 pairs in the end and will definitely return to buy more! Thank you!

I really wish that I could write a glowing review of the store. I really wish I could say this store looks after it's customers and does wonderful things. But sadly I had such a bad experience with the store and it's management that I have two write a scathing review. We purchased a pair of SO Danca tap shoes from the store. The shoes were not manufactured properly and the stitching in the heals gave way after a little over six 1 hour dance classes. There was clearly a problem with the tap shoes. Why InStep is getting the brunt of this is they started off by telling me that the issue with the dance shoes is mine. They do not do anything about defects and if you have a problem call the manufacturer. What they didn't tell me was that SO Danca does not deal with the customers directly and their policy is that all issued need to be done through InStep. A policy that InStep knew! So what should have been a simple issue turned into a large hassle. After getting the run around for 3 weeks I finally got InStep to take the shoes so they can forward them back to SO Danca as per the policy. But they decided that doing this wasn't of any priority and took most of September to get around to doing anything. It should not take weekly phone calls to remind them to look after the customer. If customer service was a priority, then this would have been delt with weeks ago. But sadly as they originally said, "We don't deal with issues". I guess that really is their policy and that is why I would not recommend shopping there.

Good experience as my daughter and I were the only customers in here at the time. The employee was very patient with us and made sure my daughter had everything we needed. It was my daughter's first time needing accessories/clothing for a class so it was a proud papa moment to be able to do this together. Happy that the experience was smooth and helpful. ????????

Very nice and clean store. Went with my toddler and baby, I felt very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helped with shoes and outfit. I was in and out very fast. Awesome efficiency which with 2 kids under 2 yrs I appreciate.

Used to be a good shop, but got completely spoiled and it feels like do not need more business... Came today 3 minutes before the official closing time to buy something that does not require trying on and got the door locked right in our faces with a lousy explanation. Will not come again...
