I loved this store from the UK however, wow what awful customer service, in Halifax. I walked in and I didn't receive a hello, the 2 customer service reps were having a conversation when I walked by one gave me a quiet hi, which seemed like she didn't' want to.. what really was not cool was when right after I walked in a Caucasian women walked in they instantly said hello welcome to oasis.. ok then ..to bad to I was going to buy something from them, now I won't I will spend my money else where. Advice to management train your staff to say hello to everyone regardless of how the service reps perceive the customer. I worked in customer service for over 20 years and it sucks when service is crappy!

I've bought a number of items the last few weeks there. Tried to return one item that I had bought less than 24 hrs earlier and they were awful. It had the tags on it and still in the wrapping and still no luck. They were so disrespectful when I tried to return, wasn't warranted. Even airlines accommodate a 24hr refund policy. Will not buy again there.

I bought a fall/winter coat last week and after wearing it once it was all pilly all over. It was a $200 coat. There's no reason it should look like it's been worn for a whole season already after wearing it once. Super disappointed in the quality. I don't have expendable income, and because I wore the coat they won't give me a refund. I got a gift card, which I will not be using. I am not really one to write reviews, but I'm so disappointed, I felt the need to share. The coat is a burgundy one...don't buy it. I hate to give a bad review because the staff were so nice when I bought the coat, and I have purchased a few other items here and loved them, but I will not be going back to this store. The manager was so rude when I tried to return it, it even prompted another customer to leave the store, saying it wasn't right to treat people that way. I do not have another $200 to get a coat. I had a budget and chose to spend my money in this store, only to be sold merchandise that was NOT worth what I paid for it.

This was my first time shopping at Oasis. Great service, as soon as I walked in one of the girls basically ran and greeted my boyfriend and I.The girl was extremely helpful even though I was very picky however the girl was not bothered at all she kept bringing me different things and sizes and ensured that the shirt I was purchasing was exactly what I wanted it did not feel like she was selling it to me just to make money. It really made me feel special. Although other customers came in, she was able to help them while helping me. The girls energy was contagious, really made my day. Definitely recommending this store to friends and family.

I wasnt going to write a review but noticed someone else also experienced the same thing. I use to live in the UK and loved this store. But unfortunately my first experience here in Halifax have really left a bad taste in my mouth and don't think i will be supporting them. I walked in here with a friend of mine ( she is jamaican and I'm asian) i looked at the sales associate to say hi, and she rolls her eyes. I was taken a back thinking wait, did she just roll her eyes at me? Maybe shes having a bad day. There was two sales associate in the empty store just conversating among themselves. For about 5 mins i waited to see if any of them would greet us or approach us to see if we needed help. And Noope no one came to us. Later 2 caucasian females came in and they came right up to them to greet them. Me and my friend both noticed and we left. I am not posting to get them in trouble but i would like management to maybe go over some training with their staff to make sure they greet EVERYONE coming into their store no matter race or what they look like, if they want to continue being open.

My favourite place to shop in the city. Always ahead of the fashion curve, and the sales are absolutely insane. This is the only place in town I can find jeans that *truly* fit. The staff are extremely polite, helpful, and professional. As a British expat; I am so happy we have an Oasis store in our city. I'm really looking forward to buying some summer dresses here. The signature patterns and prints Oasis offers constantly garner compliments and create a completely effortless style.

Absolutely love their clothes! The service was the best I have ever received from any store here in Halifax. Everyone was really nice to me and my friends when we came here. Would recommend to every woman in Halifax to check out their very stylish clothes!

I rarely write reviews. Especially bad ones. But I've never felt more uncomfortable in a store than I was here. As soon as I walked in, I was swarmed and followed around the store as if I was a thief. I understand that bombarding customers with questions and comments is a tactic some sales reps do, but a word of advice from an anxious introvert is that it makes people really uncomfortable and scares people away the majority of the time (I've been a sales associate and worked in management as well so I'm not just coming out of nowhere with that knowledge). This is especially true when they specifically said they were just taking a peek and looking around and still it wasnt enough for these ladies. They made me feel as if I had to specify who I was looking for and why. Eventually I asked the middle-aged lady working there if they had any white blazers. She could have simply said "no" and that was that. But she proceeded to lecture me and give me her unwarranted opinion on why I shouldn't ever buy a white blazer (because quote, I'll spill stuff all over it and everyone will notice and say I told you so) and redirected me to the black one (which I didnt need obviously). It was very rude, snarky and uncomfortable for me. I was so taken a back at the level of unprofessionalism in such a "reputable" store. I didnt really know what to say. The way she spoke to me -a young fashion-forward professional - was as you would to a young child you couldnt trust to keep white socks clean...I couldn't help but wonder if she would make such a comment to an older woman? Regardless, I kept my composure and left. I was going to buy my mother a gift there but after this experience I just wanted to get out of there. I will be buying a trendy, elegant and sleek white blazer that well-known celebs like Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and is reccomended by many fashion stylist as a wardrobe basic, but I will not be buying that here. Or my mothers gift. I will not return.
