Best service of any dress boutique in Toronto. They go above and beyond. The moment you walk in, you can tell that they really care about their team and the joy they can bring to their clientele. Each time I stop by I come out with a new piece because I feel passionately about supporting their business. I've had nothing but compliments on their garments which they sometimes tailor to me on the day off for last minute events. I can always trust to find something with them for whatever I need and trust that they'll get the job done. I always look forward to driving by on my commute into the city. They change their window display nearly every week, and really go out of their way to in their words "show they have something for everyone".

This is my first time taking it upon myself to write a review on something because I just have to share the TERRIBLE experience I had at this boutique. My mother and I went into madelines very excited this weekend because when looking through their Instagram you can see they have a very great selection of dresses. When arriving to Madelline's the guy at the front greeted us and told us they have more variety upstairs for mother of the bride dresses than downstairs, and he will get someone to take us up shortly (btw this was the only encounter with normal customer service we had at madelines). After looking on the bottom floor for a while, a woman approached and we told her shewe would like to go upstairs, she would not stop asking a variety of questions that did not lead us to upstairs. After I asked “can we go upstairs now?” Her answer was.. “everything upstairs is at the $1,000.00 mark so…..”. She said this without knowing our budget, I told her that we are comfortable with that and she in turn said “well you need an appointment to go upstairs” but led the way anyways. We had no idea about needing an appointment and it was not busy so 'what's the big deal right?’ Oh no, this was just the beginning. After taking us upstairs, she was pulling the complete opposite dresses of what my mom was asking for and everytime I told her that's not her style she seemed so annoyed and would make comments like “well this is couture” and walk away, as if we have no taste. Everything my mother would pull out she would put it down and even make comments about my mom's body type but not in a nice way at all. She literally said a dress looked terrible on my mom. My mom felt so down about herself, as she was having a hard time finding a dress already. One dress my mother and I grabbed at the same time, the lady completely interrupted and said “no she can't, that's a size 10 it won't even go past her thighs” I looked at this lady in complete shock, who in the world says such a thing. My mother is a size 14, not incredibily far off from a size 10. I turned to her and said “she will put this dress on and if it doesn't go past her thighs she will gladly take it off don't you worry, but I'm sure it will go over her body enough to get an idea”. She walked away again annoyed. My mom came out in that dress and while my mom was in this dress admiring it (btw it went on perfectly, just wouldn't zip all the way, no big deal, and it ended up being her favorite) the lady said “okay well I guess that's it we can try more dresses on down stairs, If you want to come up here again you need to book an appointment for a different day”. She was really really trying to get rid of us. It was so crazy, my mom never even told her she was done trying on dresses upstairs and she only tried on 3 dresses at this point. My mom and I both have never been treated like this. The amount of ignorance and attitude for no reason that came from this employee was unreal, something you see in the movies. And btw the rest of the visit with the staff downstairs was not much better. Very rude and unprofessional experience.

From Australian designers to impeccable service, Madeline’s is seriously the best place to get a gown in Toronto/the GTA. Nicole was very helpful and dedicated to helping me find the right dress!! I would highly recommend going here for formal wear.

I'd love to comment on the selection and quality of dresses at Madeline's boutique however, we were not permitted past the door. When we got to the boutique the door was locked. The sales associate came to the door and asked us what we were looking for. We said bridesmaid dresses and he said they don't "really do" bridesmaid dresses so explained we were looking for elegant black gowns, all different, not the same matching dresses. He then asked us what our budget was and when put on the spot we answered $500. This wasn't a hard budget. He responded that all dresses start at $600 and up. We said that we would still like to look and he said "ok wait here 5 minutes", and closed the glass door and locked it. He did not allow us to wait inside. So we immediately left. It truly was unbelievable, a really disappointing experience and we will never be back.

You can find these dresses in many other stores and not having to deal with the terrible vibe of the people working here or having to take your shoes off!

This was my first time visiting Madeline’s Boutique as I was looking for a Mother of the Bride dress. I started out by calling the Boutique to make an appointment in which they told me that the upstairs dresses start at a 1000 and up. I had visited many Bridal stores in the Toronto area and by far this store had the best selection of not just Mother of the Bride dresses but cocktail and Prom as well, if you want to stand out at your event you will find your high end gown here. I arrived for my appointment and was greated right away by friendly staff. My consultant Francesca was attentive and listened to the style I was interested in and the type of wedding venue. I appreciated her professionalism in picking gowns for me as she was quite aware of all the different types of gowns the boutique offered, she didn’t even have to ask my size! I picked the first dress I tried on because it was spectacular although I did try on about four or five. I had read some of the bad reviews and I’m glad I made a trip here anyway this boutique isn’t H&M it has higher end gowns so expect to pay for it! it’s a small place so yes if you come during a busy time like a Saturday or after four it’s going to be busy!! I can say for sure that I will definitely be a repeat customer!

HORRIBLE!!!! Managers and the staff are extremely rude & unprofessional. One of the worst experiences of my life. I bought a Sherri Hill dress from them for my engagement. The bones in the dress poked these deep holes in my skin and cut me pretty bad. I was in pain & bleeding the whole night. I took the dress back hoping they would care enough to either call Sherri Hill, refund or at least give me a store credit and both managers were so rude and dismissive about it. I had to push and request that they call their head office to explain what happened, which they ended up saying they might do that on Monday. I personally don’t think they will, because they did not seem like they would give a damn. I do not recommend them AT ALL!! Ladies, save your money and make sure you end up spending it at a place you know has a proper policy, and a place that cares about their reputation and their customers.

One staff member in particular was extremely rude and talked loudly to make sure I heard everything she was saying. She was trying to kick me out of the dressing room to put her other client in my change room. The lady that was helping me try on the dresses tried to calm her down but she wouldn't have it. Shame on you RACIST people! You blocked me on the Instagram page, but you cannot remove the Google reviews! If the manager of this store reads this review, he definitely should get concerned about the way his staff treat the costumers! My sister, my cousin, and I used to shop from this location, but my sister got disrespected by an employee today. Just because a customer does not have blonde hairs, doesn't necessarily mean they cannot afford a $1000 dress. It's the second time we're getting disrespected by those ladies working there. I left a comment in the Madelines Instagram page and I got blocked by them! Unbelievable! You, people sure you live in Canada? Is it the way you deal with customers by telling them that they cannot afford a thousand-dollars dress?!

I called twice in advance to make sure they had something I'm looking for and the woman in the phone reassured me both times that I could come anytime to try some things on so I traveled for over an hour and took three buses on a cold day only to be turned away from the fitting rooms because I arrived just after 5pm. Couldn't she have mentioned that I should come before 5pm? I was so excited to try on dresses for my wedding and now I'm just disappointed and frustrated.

Customer service 7/10, selection of dresses were 8/10, tight fitting rooms, have to walk out to check yourself in the mirror when everyone around you in the main floor where everyone standing and walking to store, moving fitting rooms to the back makes more sense. Did not let take a picture when trying the dress. Prices starting around 300. They had some nice long dresses for prom or similar occasions, if you're not very tall, may cost you around 150 for alteration.

I felt like I was Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. The staff were cold, and wouldn't make eye contact. No one was being unhelpful and it made me feel uncomfortable. I finally asked one of the ladies if I could try on a dress and she said no, our fitting rooms are closed. It was 5:40pm and the store closes at 6:00pm. Really confusing, they should change the store hours online so that you can at least try a dress on till closing time. The store is filled with lazy, self centered staff that obviously don't enjoy what they do. It's kind of sad because it is obvious that everyone comes into that store to pick out the perfect dress for a special occasion. Madeline's Boutique has zero manners and awful customer service.

(PLEASE READ IF U PLAN ON GOING HERE) I visited here with my mom and grandmother today and my grandmother and mother where completely disrespected by the male clerk. While I was trying on dresses my grandmother simply asked If she could go upstairs to look at the other dresses and the male clerk said it was for appointments only and mothers of the bride which is understandable but then he continued saying that the dresses where also over a thousand dollars in a sassy tone. My grandmother was offended by this because he spoke of her as if she couldn't afford the dresses so he starting arguing with her. After that he left and said under his breath "Thats what happens when you have short people syndrome" blatantly discriminating and insulting her appearance which I happen to find EXTREMELY unprofessional. My mom had heard what he said and called him out and he straight up LIED to her face when everyone heard him say it. This was supposed to be a nice family experience shopping for my prom dress and now it has been tarnished by this one man. The dresses are nice but you can buy them online without being insulted,discriminated and lied too. I will never EVER come back here again in my life and I will be spreading the word to my prom dress facebook group with roughly around 100 members and will tell my friends from other schools to spread the word as well.

If I could give this store 0 stars I would. You'd think a store selling formal dresses would have better customer service but the salespeople (including the owner) are probably the snobbiest and rudest people I've ever met. I have no idea what they're being so snobby about because most of the dresses are basic prom dress brands that you can buy for half the price online. If you went to an actual luxury brand store the salespeople are very professional and treat you with utter respect. As soon as I walked in I felt very uncomfortable, the guy by the door gave me a once over (which is uh, kind of sexual harassment), the waiting time for change rooms was over 1 hour, absolutely ridiculous. And it wasn't even because the store was super packed, there were like 6 customers waiting for a three spot changing room. When my mom asked to use the washroom they actually told her they didn't have one. No washroom. In a large, 3 storey building...are you kidding me? She told my mom that she can walk to Starbucks if she needed to go to the washroom....Anyway this place was the biggest waste of time. I'm actually surprised that they were able to find so many snobby, rude, disrespectful people and hire them. Then again, considering how rude the owner was I guess this is expected. DO NOT COME HERE.

You have to consider that these dresses they sell are super expensive and most people walk n drag them through the showroom floors...I learned this quickly after shopping for Vera Wang gowns down in Yorkdale. Loved this dress store! I visited about 2 weeks ago and I was in dress heaven!!! There are so many dresses here. It was really hard to navigate through so many of them. It was super busy when I went on a Saturday late morning/early afternoon, but there were lots of staff working to help everyone. One room had 50% off all dresses, which is such a great deal for after the prom season. I had so many wonderful ladies helping me to find the perfect dress for my event. DO NOT RECOMMEND! My 1 star only goes out to the variety of dresses they had. The dresses were the only positive thing about this boutique. I just left the store and my best friend and I who were very excited to look for prom dresses were very disappointed with the HORRIBLE customer service. The staff was snobby, and very unprofessional when asked if they had a certain dress and an employee replied with "I don't know" and when we asked if they had a different dress, she replied with “those type of dresses are thousands of dollars”. Also heard them trash talking another customer outside their change room. I tried on 2 dresses that I loved, but refuse to return due to how uncomfortable they made us both feel. Should've taken the bad reviews I read prior to my visit into consideration and not have wasted my time.

“mimi” or “mee-me” i’m not sure how to spell it but she was amazing! I was surprised how well she knew what dresses would look good on my body which made the experience so much better than i could’ve imagined! she didn’t even ask my size and got it spot on! A beautiful selection but the price doesn’t match the quality. Been in 3 times at different points of the year but haven’t been able to find something that was worth the $1000 they were charging for a dress that seemed to have urban behaviour qualities... They have some really strict rules and make it really hard to shop ie: no pictures of the dress, no pictures of the tag (not sure how ur supposed to remember what u liked), no holds, no refunds, no exchange... literally no accommodations. I have no idea why this shop is so popular, the experience is absolutely lacking. Glad I never purchased anything.

Girls, ladies - young & old - do yourself a favour & buy your dress ANYWHERE else for less (LESS MONEY for the exact same dress & far LESS ATTITUDE & maltreatment). DO NOT EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS DISGUSTING GARBAGE BAG STORE (the staff belong in garbage bags for the way they treat people just like their cookie cutter dresses are in clear garbage bags so we cattle-like patrons dare not get our filthy prints on them). The owner? (Or whoever the rude man behind the cash register is) in his blazer that looks like it will split open if he dare reach up & grab something with his lil hankerchief sticking out of his pocket pffft lol and all his little hens parading around for minimum wage with their noses in the air! Really?Judging & degrading us who walk in simply looking for a dress? Please. THIS IS THE WORST STORE ON EARTH. Is this place for real? Y do ppl flock here like sheep to be treated so rudely & poorly by the staff? The rudest girl with short blonde hair & a MASSIVE CHIP ON HER SHOULDER turned out to be the manager lolol how fitting! Queen snob to manage all the little snobs! Put your noses down ladies & settle right down for just a minute. We were number "83" in line for the changeroom excitedly waiting for our cousin to find her dream prom dress - when her turn finally came up - 1/2 the dresses she had selected ended up lost or misplaced by these little smarty pants! Way to go guys! ???????????????????????? Maybe focus on doing your 1 job instead of dishing out the attitude to EVERY patron around you. The staff are seemingly bothered & annoyed by everyone around them! They are clearly sick of dealing with people! It is so shocking to see & hear their rude remarks & demeanor. 0 customer service skills - zero! We ended up leaving here appalled & then bought one of the exact same dresses she had tried on here at a far better & nicer store 'Lemor' in Bayview Village for $595 with kind & gracious customer service & plenty of time to decide instead of $725 at crapeline's where we were rudely rushed when finally able to try it on after being verbally disrepected multiple times! What's the extra $130 on the cost of the dress for? A lil tip for their high & mighty attitude? Horrifying that this place is busy. Really. A sad scene. Stop walking in here like cattle, people! Expect & demand more for yourself! Take your business elsewhere.

I am currently in the process of prom dress shopping! I heard about Madeline's via Instagram, enjoyed their selection (or at least the one's I'd seen on IG) and decided to check them out. One of the worst dress shopping experiences I've ever had, for starters there is a man... Of no apparent value to the store... He walks around and stares at you through the mirror as you try on different dresses. I caught one of the employees (tall-ish, white, short hair) yelling at another employee TWICE for the most dense reasons! The over all vibe is just pretty disgusting and the only decent employees are: Taylor and Mo'Nique.

My mom and I had an appointment upstairs to look at MOB dresses. Our amazing retail Consultant Francesca was so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. She leaned us to a perfect direction and put my mom in something both of us we’re Sceptical about. The dress was nothing like what her and I were looking at online. And WOW! The dress was super flattering on my mom, the material was so luxe looking and very classy and elegant. We originally just came into the store just for her to try on some styles to see what she likes (not really thinking we would be making a purchase thay day). The brand she chose was Frascara. My mom ended up saying yes to that dress. As the appointment seemed to be ending, our lovely retail associate mentioned that the same designer has like dress suits which is suitable to wear for my church ceremony. Again neither of us pictured her in something like this but hey, no harm in trying it on. And again WOW! It looked amazing on her! So she decided to chose that outfit for church. Francesca showed us swatches of colours to choose from from the line and we were set. The appointment was an enormous success thanks to Francesca who had so much patience and knowledge. Within only 20 minutes of being in the store Nick had picked out multiple dresses of all styles, trying to see what style really suited me and had put me in a dressing room with little to no wait! With his help, I found my dress in 45 minutes. His personality and genuine love for fashion made the whole experience even more fun and magical, as a girl who isn’t a size 0 or anything close to that, I was nervous about sizes and fits but he made me feel beautiful and new right when I put on the the Faviana dark navy blue dress it was 100% mine! Prom was so amazing and I recieved lots of compliments on my dress and how well it suited me! They also kept whispering to eachother and laughing as I tried on my dresses. It made me feel unwelcome. There was not a large selection, of sizes and colours. So I ended up leaving with nothing. Initial entrance was overwhelming and not too clear but once given a number the service was fantastic!! I was being fitted by Taylor and she immediately made me feel so comfortable which was very nice considering dress shopping is a very nerve racking experience. This place is amazing!!! So many great dress options in all sorts of colours shapes and sizes. I came in for an appointment and was immediately shown a bunch of dresses and taken to a fitting room. The people working there are all so kind and helpful and I wouldn’t have been able to maneuver my way into a dress without them! This boutique is by far the worst place to shop. I went there with my daughter and the person who was helping her was body shaming her. My daughter left there in tears! She told her that certain dresses she was trying on were not for her body type and kept bringing her dresses that she didn’t want to try on. She was constantly telling her how awful the dresses looked on her. This place is completely disgusting and the people that work there are rude and very disrespectful. I ended up going to Honey Boutique to buy her prom dress and the girls there were so sweet and helpful and she found a dress that she fell in love with. Stay away from this place!! Do yourself a favor. If only there were zero stars to give on this review.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. My friends and I were looking for bridesmaids dresses and I can't believe the awful customer service we experienced. We got there and were greeted by a very nice man, told him we had driven 2 hours in the storm to be there. He sent us to the fitting room area and one woman continuously disrespected us from there on out. She rushed us like crazy, and we realized the dresses were far more expensive than they had advertised online. When one of us mentioned the price was a little steep she proceeded to tell us that bridesmaids want nice dresses but are cheap and not willing to pay for them. She then asked us why would we drive this far to not make an order. When we said we were missing someone and wanted to think about it and come back another day when there was more time she then said "well ladies we want to go home" and it was 20 minutes to their closing time. We will absolutely not be back. I wish we had read the other reviews before we wasted our time.

Taylor helped me for the most part, she was an absolute sweetheart. In fact, from the greeters to the owners (Madeline herself is amazing), the entire staff and boutique has it all, great customer service, beautiful hair ????, great sense of humor, a plethora of choice and the *PATIENCE* to get things exactly right! Probably best to shop online. Visited this store last weekend and made an appointment, not really sure why I bothered because this place was INSANE! Very crowded and felt like everyone was on top of each other. The first employee that was helping me wasn't very friendly or helpful to say the least, the second employee who out of nowhere came and took over the appointment was really lovely and helpful. Overall it was an awful experience and I don't think you could pay me to visit this store again, if you know what you're looking for, shopping their website might be a better option because they do have a decent dress selection which is the only reason I left two stars instead of one.

My future mother in law and i went shopping over the weekend for her mother of the groom dress and we had a great experience with Francesca. She was incredibly knowledgable and knew exactly what type of style would fit her body type, the size, and even colours. My FMIL was incredibly nervous about trying dresses on, but she felt completely comfortable and was pleasantly surprised when she saw how beautiful she looked in the dresses. We also met the owner, Madeline and she was incredibly sweet and knowledgable too. My FMIL ended up leaving with an absolutely stunning dress that she cannot wait to wear on the big day. Thank you :) My only 'constructive criticism' note is - let people take photos of the dresses that they're trying on. Sometimes people need to go home, reassess the dresses they tried on, and make a decision and photos really help. You guys have great customer service and gorgeous dresses so I'm sure people will return to your shop to purchase. We didn't challenge this rule at all, but it would have been nice to have pictures so by the time my FMIL tried on her 7th dress we could do a quick reference of what she tried on to determine what her favourite was.

Most HORRIBLE experience ever! I bought a dress from this store but it gave my neck and the sides of my breasts visible bruises that are still hurting me so much. I took it to the store to explain the situation but the store manager would not accecpt a return or give any compensation. He did not even apologize or seem to care! He was very unconcerned and the most he offered to do was put some fabric on the dress which would not only change the style, but also make no difference. When you pay that much for an expensive dress, you don’t expect to have the style changed. He was very rude and arrogant. When i called to ask for his name the staff refused and hung up. The second time i called the girl said if she gave the managers name she woukd be fired. I don’t know what kind of shady business they are running but I don’t want any future part in it. I won’t be doing business here again i don’t recommend anyone else to shop here. You should stay away from small boutiques like this as they don’t care about your experience or after care. They would not send the dress back to the manufacturer as it would probaly be too much effort for them.

I went dress shopping yesterday and this was by far the worst store I entered. I am not an avid google reviewer but the service was so bad and I was so annoyed by the time I left that I had to post (only to find out that everyone else feels the same way - vindication that I'm not crazy and over sensitive to the situation). From when we entered the store, I felt as though there was an arrogance to the place when they asked us to take off our shoes (although all the staff get to keep their shoes on...). They had a large selection of dresses but nobody was available to give you suggestions on where to start looking or to ask any questions on any of the dresses. It seemed like a factory assembly line where you just pass your dresses to the staff and they will add it to the queue of dresses to be tried on. The wait to try on the dresses was over 30 minutes. And even with their large selection, I found nothing as they had the same dresses over and over again, just in different colours. Presentation is key and with all of the dresses stuffed into clear garbage bags, it's hard to get a sense of what things look like. Also, the large selection doesn't help anyone if they have a large selection of crap that the owner has not bothered to sift through with a discerning eye. Save yourself time and annoyance by not going here. I wish I had google reviewed this place before I went but I was already in that neighbourhood and a saleswoman at another store suggested this place. As a side note, the ladies at Lemor (Bayview Village) were way more helpful in my quest to find a dress.

Ive visited this store a couple of times now and Ive made 2 purchases one for my sisters wedding and one for my brothers. I was very hesitant at first after reading all the reviews online. For my sisters wedding I found a dress online that I really loved and really wanted to try on, when I walked into the store my mom and I were greeted by a very friendly girl who explained the layout of the store, I then showed her the dress that I wanted and they literally did everything to get me that dress (as they did not actually have it in store). The manager (at least i think he was) called another store for me and managed to get the dress and it came in less than a week which was pretty surprising. Francesca then showed me a few dresses in the same style of the dress I wanted so that it helps me get a better idea of how the dress would look on me which i really appreciated. She also helped me find my dress for my brothers wedding. She asked me what type of dress I was looking for and asked for my price point. She picked out some really nice dresses and she was just a doll. Highly recommend this store, amazing dresses and a wide selection with professional service!

Don't shop here. Hated it is pretty much how I have felt both times I was at Madeline's. This is my second time there to look for a dress for my daughter's wedding. With the exception of Nikki who helped us today, I find everyone there extremely rude and unhelpful. The first time I went I had made an appointment. When my daughter and I arrived we were basically ignored. When we approached the desk and mentioned we had an appointment we were brusquely told "we are very busy". We did manage to secure a fitting room, but by that point felt very unwelcome, rushed and uncomfortable. I thought I would try again today. No one in store when we arrived just after it opened. Was approached by a sales person who asked what we were looking for. After spending about two minutes halfheartedly helping us, and once she understood that I was not looking for an expensive designer dress, she loses interest. She gets called away to a telephone call . . . and does not return. At this point we are helping ourselves. One of my daughters got annoyed and approached another sales person - Nikki - to assist us. Nikki was great. Very helpful and very pleasant. Were it not for Nikki, I would have walked out of the store. Although they do have a good selection, the atmosphere and help are sadly lacking. At no time have I ever felt comfortable or happy in this store. And shopping for a dress for your daughter's wedding should be an enjoyable and happy experience. I will never shop here again. I prefer to take my dollars elsewhere.

Bought my grade eight graduation dress here as well as just purchasing two more dresses for prom this year. Madeline and her husband are extremely helpful. Its best to go during the day throughout the week because on weekends there are always lines to try on dresses because it gets so busy. I had no choice but to give them 1 star there was no ZERO option. There are a 1000 other stores in Toronto who will appreciate your hard earned dollars and business. We visited this store yesterday to look for bridesmaid dresses. While we did arrive at 5:30 just to have a quick look, the doors were locked. They were finally unlocked by some man who thought he was gods gift (apparently must be the owner?). He rudely informed the crowd standing there (about 10 people no less) that the fitting rooms were closed but we could have a minute to look around. I don't think we have ever encountered someone quite so rude as this person. When leaving one of the women I was with was having a brief conversation on her phone. She made a comment to the party she was talking to and the this guy in the store told her to "go back to Woodbridge"??? Who does that? I mean seriously this is how you treat potential customers who are looking for at least 7 bridesmaid dresses? In a word I would never give this store my business again. I had already bought one dress there which was, in itself a disaster as their seamstress ruined it. By the way DON'T use them for alterations. My recommendation is DO NOT SHOP HERE. Do not give these people your hard earned dollars. These dresses are available city wide and in stores where people will treat you with the respect you deserve as a customer.

Every single staff member in this store has a rude, bothered, annoyed attitude towards pretty much every customer who walks in. We could not believe the level of attitude we were shown. We just bought the exact dress for $130 less in Bayview Village (minus the bad attitude!). I decided to test my luck and come here even after reading all the bad reviews. Every single review was correct and matched up to the poor service. The woman with black hair and black t-shirt was absolutely no help. She has a condescending tone when she speaks. She doesn't try to understand the style you want, doesn't ask what kind of neckline, beaded/not beaded. She flipped through LITERALLY two dresses and walked away. Absolutely useless. Worst employees I've ever had to deal with, they're unprofessional and missed out on a huge sale by their poor attitudes. Also their dresses are ugly and over priced. This store has one of the most absurd policies I've ever encountered. They demand that their customers take off their shoes and force them to walk around the store in their socks or even bare feet. Yes. BARE FEET! The store sells designer dresses at $400 and up and they have the audacity to ask their customers to take their shoes off. They can't be bothered to clean up the store like everyone else. This policy is so atrocious I've considered lodging a complaint with the city, I'm almost positive this violates some sort of health code.

I have known owners Nick and Madeline for over 10 years since there first store and I was never disappointed with the selection of wonderful dresses and customer service they provided. My recent experiences was when my girlfriend needed a dress for a wedding banquet. My only regret is traveling across town with her for a particular look that couldn't be found in Yorkville of all places. Madeline's took great care with fitting and alterations. I called today and asked if they specifically had any royal blue gowns in size 18-20. They told me yes I made an appointment and drove 1h20m to get there, paid for parking and walked in, only to be told that they had nothing for me. Honestly all the people who worked there were incredibly nice and kind. But it’s important to be upfront and honest on the phone because that took up 2.5 hours of my day. Not angry because life’s too short but being honest so this can be corrected.

What a shame - the most beautiful selection of dresses and the rudest, most disrespectful associates selling them. I’ll patiently be waiting for any manager to take me up on this review and do some reputation repair for such a negative and inconvenient experience. Although I’m doubtful because none of the other retail horror stories have been addressed! I bought my Christmas dress from madelines last year - I was in quite a rush so I didn’t have time to enjoy the “full experience” of boutique shopping. I did pick up on some snobby attitudes from the girls working there but swept that under the rug because I was so in love with my dress. I was really looking forward to coming back the next year to get another amazing dress.... My best friend and I went in to try on some Nookie dresses- I knew they didn’t have the dress I wanted in stock but I wanted to check sizing and the general fit of their line. I tried on a few but still had my heart set on this one particular gown. As soon as the lady knew we weren’t buying she essentially turned her back with an eye roll. It was rather comical (along with the dirty looks from the other girls working there)! I called back later that day and asked to the lady to please set aside a small in black when the shipment arrives. She said fine and that she’d call me the following week to let me know when it came. In the mean time, I called the Australian supplier and asked if the dress was apart of their shipment and she said no, it wasn’t. I called the boutique back and expressed my concern about what I was just told. I explained the situation and said that the lady I was dealing with said that it would be in by Friday ... she snipped back and said yeah that was me and I never said Friday, I said ONE day this week. I was simply giving her the benefit of the doubt as Friday is the last day it could come in. She sounded so annoyed that I was calling back with contradictory information but I couldn’t help myself - who wouldn’t??! She said she would call me the following week when it came in. I got a call Thursday - her tone was very different because she had to tuck her tail between her legs and bear the bad news to me. She said it wasn’t in the shipment but she ASSURED me that it was coming in the week after. I was still very hopeful and trusted her update. I ended up calling in the next week because I just couldn’t wait any longer - I wanted to know that my dress had arrived. I called in and low and behold .... Not. There. The manager I spoke with said she wasn’t sure what happened and that she’d call the supplier and get back to me with a tracking number and expected delivery because she knew my Christmas party is quickly approaching (November 30th). I still haven’t heard back from her.... I’m beyond disappointed. I was lead on by an employee who had clearly had no idea what she was talking about. False promises are the last thing a high end dress shop needs to be dealing with. The vibe of this shop is par with that high end boutique in the good old classic Pretty Woman. You can’t be pretty on the outside if you’re ugly on the inside and there is so much merit to that. To the owner and managers - you need to address employee etiquette and quality of customer service or lack thereof - half of your reviews are 5 star and the other half 1/0 stars .. I’d highly recommend getting rid of the garbage half of your employees. The only thing left that I have to say is that you would honestly receive friendlier customer service at a McDonald’s - at least smiles are free.???? I would never recommend your boutique to anyone regardless of how beautiful the dresses are! Good luck with all your damage control from the lengthy list of EMBARRASSING reviews you have! RANT OVER ✌????

NEVER STEPPING FOOT IN THERE AGAIN!!! Purchased a gown a few wks ago and had second thoughts because they literally allow you to try only 5 gowns! What?!? Who can decide like that. Oh and there are about 60 others people standing there watching you while you decided (secretly critiqung you)! So of course I needed to exchange because I impulsively bought my dress. The manager (Racquel) basically had me “beg” her to exchange. Thankfully I was able to but it doesn’t end there! When I go to the cash register to pay the difference, the owner gets all condicending with me and says, I quote “ I need a halo to deal with you. Oh my gosh really you are exchanging after so much time! You can’t even exchange a pair of socks in a store past 4 weeks.” So rude and insulting!!!!!! I told her wouldn’t she feel good knowing I,as a customer am now satisfied with the exchange and would come shop there again. She responded eragantly “I don’t care!” I will spread the word to every teen girl, friends and family....go somewhere with some service! Maxi Boutique, Freda’s, Holts or even that boutique down the street- heck anywhere else that gives you good customer service and appreciates your business! And to think I actually gave that place another couple of hundred dollars to exchange! Lesson Learned! Never, Ever will I or anyone I know step foot in there! Done! Oh and try selecting a $700 dress in plastic bags, ram packed- worse set up ever!

It's very unfortunate. This store has a great variety of dresses but horribly rude staff. I was looking to buy something this weekend, and at first the staff members were so helpful...and then turned pushy. I found a dress I liked but not appropriate for what I was looking for, so I was not ready to buy it. As soon as the staff member Francesca knew I was not going to buy the dress she literally ignored me - she did a total 180. I would ask a question and she did not even respond. I was planning on coming back to buy that dress for a different event later next month, but now I will not be visiting this store again. Madeline, I think you should consider rehiring the majority of your staff. Rude staff members do not make good sales people. I will be sure to tell my friends and family to steer clear. Want boutique next store is lovely!

This is the second time I had the pleasure of shopping at Madeline’s. This time for my youngest daughter’s prom. The staff was just as great this time around, not to mention some have been there for over 10 years. We did do some price shopping prior to visiting, but ended up back at Madeline’s. First off, the selection can’t be beat, & second, the prices are actually less for the same designer dresses. There’s a reason why this boutique is your go to for proms, weddings etc ... The worst customer service i have ever seen in my life, from the store manager "Christine"... she forgot to place the order for the dress that i ordered and paid for, for 2 months, when i called to see if i could change my order to a dress that was $400 more expensive, she said that she had already placed my order and that she couldn't accommodate an exchange due to this reason. i call back 2 months later to follow up on my order, she hasn't even placed the order yet and says, "Oh i just placed your order now" so when i ask her why you lied to me in the first place, she gets frustrated and tells me that i am rude! and then cuts the phone on me... i called back and she cuts the phone again for the second time! seriously?! where do you find such unprofessional impolite probably uneducated people to put as a store manager? is any one even reading these reviews? i see that you haven't even put an effort to respond to one... based on the price of your dresses, you should know that the people who walk into your store are not just anybody, they live a certain life style and people like Christine should be no where near them... change her with some one who knows what emotional intelligence is and has an understanding of customer service. as a Store manager, your job is to keep customers happy, not disrespecting them with your recklessness, immature behaviour and poor qualities that you just cant control. i asked to speak to the Store owner, would you mind giving me a call please? the store owner really needs to hear the things that i have to say

My sister and I went in a week ago excited to look for a gown for my son's wedding. I had previously tried calling to book an appointment, but no one ever picked up the phone, so we decided just to show up. When we walked in we were pretty much ignored because it was so busy. When I finally managed to speak with one of the sales clerks her first question was if I was "buying" today? If I find a dress that I love, then yes, but how would I know if I haven't even looked at any dresses yet??? It's as if they couldn't be bothered to help me unless it was a guaranteed sale. I looked at the dresses they had on the floor and I felt like I was walking through a Flea Market. I asked to go look at their upstairs collections and she simply replied "Those dresses are in the thousands and you need an appointment!" Firstly, they did not even know my budget and secondly I am still in shock at how rude and condescending they were! My sister and I just left and I will definately not be returning! The most arrogant, rude people I've ever met.

Great experience first time shopping at Madeline’s. Brought my daughter to buy a dress for a formal event. Upon seeing the vast selection I asked them to suggest dresses based on her frame. One of the gentlemen brought 4 dresses that were spot on for her. Because her event was coming up shortly they offered to do alterations in store. We purchased the dress Monday, had a fitting Wednesday and picked it up the following Monday. I highly recommend you take the time to go during the day, not on a Saturday. Sometime in May 2014 I went to Madeline's to buy a dress for my son's wedding. I found a dress and talked to the owners Nick and Madeline, they were to order a dress for me in my size. In the meantime the dress I tried on was a size 8, the size I needed but they told me that they would order a new dress for me. We discussed the price and I was told that was the best he could do and that it was a great price. The dress cost me $1,200.00. Then we discussed alterations and I was quoted $100.00. I had already heard that they trick people to think that they order a new dress for them but in fact if they have the size on the floor, they give you the same one. In the meantime they take your deposit, 50% make you wait three months and then when you go there it is the floor sample that they give you. So I thought I would see if their was any truth to this. I took the tag of the sample dress I tried on and marked it and so when I went to try my dress that they supposedly ordered after waiting three months in August 2014 I was disgusted to see that it was the same floor sample dress that I tried on and 1000 other women also tried on. So they did not order a dress for me. I waited three months and they had $600.00 of my money so that I could not go anywhere else to look for a dress. So I told them that they did not order a new dress for me and then the owner started yelling a me, put his finger in my face saying that I got a damm good deal and that basically I should take the dress. I told him that I wanted a new one and that he needed to order one for me. After all the yelling he did and then it came in two days. The dress I received was a new one and so from then I needed alterations. After they marked what needed to be done they wanted $475.00 for alterations. I told them that I was quoted $100.00 (I had the quote marked on my bill by Madeline) and that's all I will pay. The owners were not in when I told this to their staff and so they called Madeline and she said, do the alterations and we will discuss it at the end. I told the staff I was quoted $100.00 and that's all I will pay. In the end they did the alterations and when I refused to pay the amount they wanted, basically they would not give me the dress if I did not pay the alterations. I told them we could call the police and let them decide. Because they did not want any more negative publicity they finally gave me the dress and I paid the balance of the $600.00 and $100.00 for the alterations. Please be careful with these people because they are not what they make you believe, that they are so nice, they are rude and unprofessional. I will never ever buy another dress there and I would never refer any one to that store. Nick and Madeline are the worst, most rude people I have ever dealt with.

Went to Madelines today in search of a mother of the bride gown and bridesmaid gowns. I made the appointment over 2 weeks ago over the phone. Clearly, some miscommunication happened as they wrote down that the appointment was for bridesmaids only. Instead of correcting their mistake, they were very hostile and rude and they approached my mom and I. I assume the owner, explained that I had an email thread saying bridesmaid only, when in fact I made the appointment OVER THE PHONE. He basically told us we needed to leave the upstairs area as they had another important that was clearly prioritized over ours. Kicker is I even called today to confirm the appointment and what it was for. Needless to say, I will NEVER purchase a gown from Madelines and would rather pay 3x the purchase price to avoid the hostility and disservice we received today.

The management must be a JOKE?!!! I was looking for a bridesmaid dress that has to be a specific shade of blue, so I saw a dress I liked on their Instagram page and I sent them a private message to ask if they carry my size, someone answered Yes we do, and then I asked if they carry other styles same exact color, they answered YES as well. So I drove 55 MINS to their store only to find they don’t have that dress or any other dresses in that color!! Not a single apology offered!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was beyond frustrated and told somewhat of an “older” lady coz I thought she might be in charge, STILL NO APOLOGIES for the manipulation ((and acting as if they don’t know who spoke to me on Instagram))... I later found out the designer, did my research and got the dress for $100 less!!! Also, the amount of lies I discovered while talking to them after is unbelievable!! I don’t care how pretty their dresses are, for the way they treated me, I’d wear jeans to the wedding I had and NEVER have to deal with such people again!!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. I took my bridesmaids here to shop for dresses. Despite one member of my party arriving on time for the scheduled appointment, she was rushed and it was suggested numerous times that the appointment should be rescheduled, which is curious considering she had almost the full hour left in her appointment. When the second member of my party arrived a bit later than expected but with more than enough time to shop, two staff members, one of whom was possibly the owner, kept staring both of them down which, made them extremely uncomfortable. The focus of the staff was to rush my party or pressure them to reschedule instead of helping them actually find dresses. They were yelled at by someone from across the room for taking photos when they were finally able to try on a dress (they were not aware of the policy not to take photos). When confronted about the terrible experience, one of the individuals who I believe was a member of management condescendingly commented that "they only cater to brides not bridesmaids- we don't play dressup here". This comment and the overall behaviour of the staff and/or management was extremely unprofessional and absolutely appalling. Take your money elsewhere.

True 5 star experience ~ from the moment I walked in, I was greeted at the door, asked what I was looking for...and attended to without a pause...right out of a Pretty Woman movie (the magical shopping experience scene). The owner and his employee shuffling through dresses for me as if I was the only one in the store (it was a full house by the way, didn't feel like it at all). With me the entire time, through every fitting, until I found the perfect dress... well to be honest 2 perfect dresses. I bought both. Their service had me, their selection and quality of dresses/brands are nothing short of the best. Walking in like Julia Roberts, out like Cinderella. Thank you Madeline's! Worst customer service! Even when I had spent $1500 on two dresses and more on alterations. They messed one of them up, and gave it to me ripped and all they said was sorry "we aren't saying you are lying hut it didn't leave the store ripped" after she had even admitted she didn't check the bottom of the dress!!! She couldn't even offer anything to make me feel better about it. Atleast if she sounded sincere or apologetic I would've been fine.. Nothing. She was actually even annoyed and rude about me calling. Never going back. I wish I went with my sisters to the Rosalyn store they went to in Richmond Hill and spent half the price with better and more elegant dresses.

I grew up in the area and as a kid always admired the dresses in the window. I was going to a wedding and popped into the store to buy a dress and no one looked at me, greeted me or gave me the time of day. I actually tried twice because i really really wanted to buy something. The same thing happened so i knew it wasn't a fluke. I definitely felt unwelcome and I will never go back to the store based on the absence of customer service. I am certain they thought I wouldn't buy anything. I read some of the bad reviews and its actually really sad that people in the store have made patrons feel unwelcome, poor and even discriminated against. We recently purchased a dress for my daughters confirmation. From the minute we called for an appointment, we were greeted warmly. When we arrived for the appointment, we felt safe with the covid protocols. We sanitized our hands and ensured we answered the health questions. We dealt with Mickie and Patrice, as well as another lady at the cash and a sweet Brazilian lady. They were all very patient and ensured my daughter felt comfortable. They took their time and allowed us to try on several dresses. My tween daughter wanted to walk away and the ladies did not pressure us, in fact they encouraged us to see what other dresses were out there. In the end, we returned to purchase the dress! My daughter said “yes to the dress” and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you to all who helped us with this fantastic experience! We will definitely be back and refer you to our family and friends.

Its a shame that the designers of these beautiful dresses allow this business to sell them. The owner is an arrogant prick who only cares about making money. Here is my experience; 1. Walked in with several bridesmaids - he had no clue what my budget was or what my vision was. Maybe it was the fact that we were all dressed down, but he made it clear that we would not be able to afford any of the dresses we were looking at. Stand your ground with this - as there are so many reviews indicating the same thing. Not sure if he thinks the way you look dictates you budget or bank account, but he needs to stop judging. 2. Fitting rooms where full with others trying on dresses. One particular women spent some time looking at herself(and rightly so if you want to look good)...all of sudden, he must have not realized that people were standing in front of him, he says ""....look at this one all she is doing is looking at herself...if she's not going to buy the dress then leave."" Awful and disgusting. 3. Set up- the stores does have the largest selection of dresses - but they are wrapped in plastic(looks like a dry cleaners) you have to really shop through each and every one to pick out what you like, but they try and guide your selection so if you're not interested in what they have to show you, then be prepared to spend some time looking. Ladies - do your homework as some of these dresses can be purchased elsewhere and quite frankly, why would you want to give your hard earned money to some ignorant business owner. Karma is a B****.

Worst experience ever! 1. Lady walked into my fitting room without knocking and accused me of taking photos of the dress. (I was half naked when she came in) Note: there were no mirrors inside the fitting room. They said no photos of the dresses unless i am buying, which was very reasonable. So i did not take any photos whatsoever and i only used my phone to discuss with my fiance about the prices. 2. when i came out with the dress she said to the girl who was helping me if i was taking too long in there (the girl replied to her 10minutes only). After the girl told me they limit 20minutes per customer. 3. The prices being over 20% more markup compared to other evening dress retailers in Toronto comes along with this kind of service just doesnt make any sense.

I purchased a dress that cost over $600 that began to fall apart as we drove it home. I have contacted the store several times to have my costs reimbursed for fixing it. It is a beautiful dress that was purchased for prom. However they either ignore me, or LIE outright that they will call me back. They do not stand behind their product. I would recommend anyone shop ANYWHERE but here if you are looking for a formal product. Please pass this along and save someone else over $600 .

I have never been treated so poorly at a store in my entire life. I was just in there with my bridesmaids and they repeatedly told us that they don’t usually do bridesmaids dresses, because their “prices were so high”. Awful. Looking for a prom dress with my daughter. Music was too loud, store was very small, no one helping with the dresses, customers were opening the dress bags and handling the dresses, wait time for change rooms were 2 hours. Terrible experience. We left at 15 minutes. I'm sure that they are busy at this time of year but given the size of the shop, I would recommend to them to do weekends by appointment only. If people are going to spend $500-$1000 for a dress, I think they deserve better customer service and a better overall shopping experience.

I have been to Madeleine's to shop for a few occasions before, and the boutique once again impressed me when I was shopping for a prom dress. The store has a great selection of designer gown in a variety of styles and colours, and the sales associates were very helpful when it came to pulling dresses that they thought would suit me. I recommend going in the afternoon on a weekday, as it is much less busy, but no matter when you go the staff are friendly and helpful!

I bought my prom dress last year, the staff was grouchy, the store is way to small for the amount of customers let it, bottoms of dresses where getting ruined by how many people where in the establishment the staff not giving one care in the world. After finally finding a some what friendly staff member which is hard to find in Madeline’s dress store apperently. We got a dress picked and ready to go it was beautiful but very pricey. I called back this year as a location willing to buy my dress needed an exact retail price. I call back giving the information on my dress estamiting it was somewhere around 600, the lady to answer the phone was nothing but snotty and rude. Giving me no help no information and telling me to make up a number to an establishment that could easily go call them and find out the price them self then catch me in a lie because Madeline dress store in Toronto can’t take two seconds out of there day to do there job when asked by customers. I will never recommend anyone there again, u can find fabulous dresses for much better prices else where ladies!

All I can say those bad reviews are an extream exaturation . We were welcomed by a very friendly smile . After explaining what we are looking for , 2 of the lady’s pulled 3 dresses that exieded our expectations . They have so many dresses that one can get lost . Their knowledge of what they have in stock is outstanding . They protect all their garments in garment bags which I highly recommend . Nothing is worse then finding ur dress and realizing that it’s damaged from people handling them . Sorry but if u have an attitude and go during prom season on a Saturday and dont have patience , stay home . IF YOU DO NOT FIND A DRESS HERE- YOU ARE NOT FINDING A DRESS!!!! Where to start- the door is opened for you, music playing everyone stops to say hello- great way to start. I have been to 3 dress boutiques is St Catherine’s, 2 in Buffalo and 1 other on in Toronto. There is no staff and stock like Madeline’s. The owner and her wife were amazing, along with the rest of the staff. Everyone helped, checked in and brought their favorites and ideas. It was a Tuesday night and very busy I can imagine weekends are crazy. I would go on a weeknight and I promise you will be pleasantly surprised. My family thought we were crazy to drive from Buffalo/ Lewiston NY. So worth the drive I will go for any special occasion. Most importantly the prices were on point and cheaper than seen in other stores!!! Thank you Madeline’s for the perfect experience!!!!

People come a long way to get to your store and bare the fact of no parking around you and you put TIMERS and give NUMBERS to people and you think people are a waste of time if they don't pay for your garbage jersey dresses that you sell for $700 and more. people please save a lot of time, money and your integrity and go elsewhere. there are many stores with nice owners who know how to treat people right. examples downtown,: Belo Fashions, Esti just down the street. uptown: Shahani, dressroom, amandalinas and Mona Ricci. i'm sure everyone who has been there and seen your attitude would never come back. these stores have the same stuff this business has and more and they don't charge an arm and a leg and the staff are NICE as they are supposed to be, my advice to madeline's owners: do yourself a favour and take a BUSINESS COURSE and learn what customer service means and then teach your staff the same.

I highly recommend that you don't give this boutique your service. I experienced disgusting ageism from the rude staff when trying to shop for my prom dress. I have a busy schedule with school work and my part-time job and was finally able to squeeze in the time to go prom dress shopping on a Friday afternoon. I went to Madeline's with four of my friends (since my mom was working that evening). I made sure I had enough money in my bank account just incase I did find the dress I wanted. We arrived at 5:00pm and we were aware that the store closed at 6:00pm. All the staff members were busy with other customers so we had to look on our own for dresses in the store that I wanted to try on. When I picked four dresses that somewhat caught my eye, I then got my ticket number for the dressing rooms. My friends and I then sat on the seats provided waiting for my turn. Shortly after, a woman called my number and took me to the change room. Before putting the dresses in the change room for me she looked at two of them and asked me if I knew the prices to them. I mistakenly hadn't checked the prices to them so I asked her how much they were. The dresses were over my budget and although I was willing to go over budget for a dress I loved, neither of those dresses had that 'wow' factor. I told her I wouldn't try the two over budget dresses on but I'll try on the other two we had chosen. After trying on the second dress the time was now 5:30pm (the store closing in 30min). The woman 'helping' me came up to me asking me what I thought about the dress. I stated what I liked and disliked and asked if there was anything else in the store I could see with a similar style. She replied with "well you can come back with your mom". I was confused by her reply and asked her "so I can't try anymore dresses on?" She told me no and that the dressing rooms close at 5:30. After getting changed into my regular clothes we heard a different staff member with a customer saying "did you want me to get your change room started?" My friends and I stood in confusion and so when that same staff member walked by us bringing her customer to the change room we asked her when the change rooms closed. She hesitated for a few moments then blurted out 5:30. It was obvious that they were lying to us. With still 30min left until they closed I decided at least I'll look for more dresses myself. Another staff member approached me suggesting that my friends were somewhere else in the store and probably wanted to leave now. It felt unfair that they seemed to be forcing me out of the store so they could 'close' as other customers were still trying on dresses and browsing. I left the boutique shortly after her comment absolutely appalled by the way I was being treated. I will never return back to Madeline's Boutique after this visit nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone I know.

The most horrible experience. I ordered a dress for my sister's wedding. It took months to get it. 1 week before the wedding I went to pick it up. I tried it on and it had a weird odor. The beads were falling off. I took it off and smelled the dress and it smelled of body odor! I then realized it was the sample dress I had tried on! I approached the owner and told her my situation. I had my 2 year old daughter with me so I tried not not cause a scene. She basically wouldn't smell the dress and her other partner called me a fuc** liar! I was it complete shock! At least admit it was the sample dress! PLEASE DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! I scrambled to find a dress last minute and was thankful I did. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I was there with my mom on a Sat. The store was rammed with prom girls. The owner suggested we come back during the week which we decided to do. I don’t recommend going on a Sat unless you don’t mind waiting your turn. Kudos to the staff, not an easy place to work on a Sat. & also because they know their stock really well. That was impressive as they have thousands of dresses in stock over 2 floors. There’s lots of other dress stores who are waiting for your business at the front door, we went to them all, zero wait times, but the selection is not there. The entire staff is amazing at Madeline’s, but shout out to Sabrina!

I visited this store twice and both times were horrific experiences. I would not recommend anyone to shop at this store unless you are okay with horrible customer service, prejudice judgement upon what can be afforded, and sketchy ways of selling. The first time I visited, there was a tremendous wait just to simply try on a dress. No one once approached me to ask me if I needed assistance and once i would pick out a dress I was interested in, someone would grab the dress out of my arms and slap a ticket in my hand without any information on the wait times or whether I could pick out other dresses. I immediately walked out of the store because I had an appointment to go to and it was simply taking too long. The second time I went, I took a couple of friends with me. I am very picky with which dresses I am interested in (shopping for prom) and therefore won't easily settle for something less than my expectations. I asked a sales clerk for one specific dress I was interested in and she told me they didn't have it. Funny enough I noticed another girl trying on the same dress I just asked for.. I then approached a man and asked him if I would be able to try it on. He then approached the same girl who told me she didn't have it and whispered something to her. She approached me and said "What's your budget.. because that dress is well over 1 thousand." Due to not having a set budget I replied that that is fine.. and proceeded to try it on. I had then realized that she was prejudicly judging me based off of what she thought I could afford. When trying on the dresses, I felt extremely rushed and uncomfortable. My friends and I all were trying on dresses and at one point a man approached us and said "So is anyone going to take one?" which implied he was trying to rush us out and didn't want us taking anymore time trying things on if we were going to purchase anything. Overall the experience was beyond miserable. There is no customer appreciation nor respect. Trying on dresses, especially expensive ones should be a pleasurable, relaxed and a non rushed experience. I am in awe of the treatment I received by this store and in result, they lost a customer which was willing to pay a good amount. Customers cannot be rushed, this is a high end dress store, not a grocery store. The majority of the 5 star reviews are evidently fake. People need to be attentive enough to notice this as I should of been prior to wasting 2 days visiting this place.

I was so happy by the selection of dresses in this store and the customer service! I came in on a Saturday to look for my engagement dress, which was crazy busy and didn’t know where to begin until Francisca came along and she was such an angel and very helpful! She got me the exact dress I wanted and wasn’t pushy for me to purchase it! She gave me the best advice in terms of sizing and everything else! It was a wonderful experience and I can’t wait to see my dress when it comes in! I highly recommend it!!!

Sadly my experience was horrible , I felt so claustrophobic in here. We went today Friday at 12pm, when we first entered we were greeted by a man telling us we must remove our boots do to the weather outside yet there was barely any snow on the ground but I didn't mind. The dresses were very pricey and the customer service was horrible, we found a dress that one of the sales lady was holding and asked if I could try it she said ofc and gave me a number. She asked us if there were any other dresses I had in mind so I told her what I was looking for and my budget was $500 the minute she heard my low budget she wasn't very happy working with us anymore. She started picking random dress that were no where close to what I told her and then she started choosing dresses which were 2 to 3 times higher then my budget. She just put those dresses I kind of liked with the rest and just left. I then went to a man who was working there telling him my problem he easily found my dresses that I would like and was fine with my budget not like the first lady. We then sat down to wait and hear my number . It never was said and we were waiting there for 1 hour. I finally stopped one lady asking her why my number wasn't called and she said how my number must have been called and I might have not heard it . I would have heard it since I was sitting so close. So the same man helping us before found my dresses again and moved me to the more quieter side with the 2 dressing room and we waited there for 15mins. I tried the dresses on only liking the one I found at the beginning but was iffy with the price. Overall the service was pretty sad and I wouldn't want to come back. My friend and I were wanting to get out of the store so bad and we're glad when we finally did. I'm sorry but I don't recommend going here.

Great store, beautiful dresses and amazing staff. A sweet lady named Francesca helped me at the store. She asked me what I was looking for and then showed me around. I tried on over 10 different dresses, and even tried some of the dresses twice!! And she patiently helped me out with every single one of them. Long story short, I walked out with three new gorgeous evening dresses and I love them all! Overall it was a great experience.

The customer service when i went in to buy my prom dress was amazing!! The girl helping me pulled so many dresses in different styles to help me find the perfect dress - which i did. However, when ordering my dress (in the proper size) the owners told me that my dress would be in within 6-8 weeks. It has been almost 3 months and i STILL have not received my dress. I tried calling and the employee was very short with me and did not contact me again like they said they would. I had to get my mom to call in order for them to finally give us answers as to where my dress was. Overall, disappointed in the amount of time i have been waiting for my dress to come in

The sales people won't let you try on a dress unless you know how much it costs. They really degrade themselves by behaving as if the people coming into the store to buy a dress can't afford it in the first place. Nice dresses, but horrible sales people and attitude. Shame. I felt as though I needed to show them my financial statements before walking into the store.

What an amazing experience. After a few questions about style and price I was shown 2 dresses that I not only loved on the hanger but fit me beautifully. Needless to say, I snapped up the second dress and am thrilled but not only is it in my price range but it is chic, sexy and stunning. The women who helped are so personable and accepting of my needs, a great experience all around. I highly recommend this as your first stop.
