Was having a good experience here finding nice dance outfits for my daughter, ended up spending around $180 then after heading home realized we were overcharged for a small item. (Price tag said 5.99 but we were overcharged to 8.99). Went back inside to inform them of the issue and the employee no apology or emotion asked for my card to refund the difference. I asked for an explanation and she said the price was changed in the system but not yet on the tag. I was annoyed by her indifference and lack of customer service so asked to have it completely refunded. She condescendingly agreed and processed the refund without still any attempt to apologize! Really a horrible experience with their customer service and will not be returning.

I had a great pointe shoe fitting experience at the Dancewear Centre! Chloe is an excellent fitter and was very thorough. I am extremely pleased with the new shoes she fitted me with, and I would definitely recommend the Dancewear Centre to all my friends in need of fittings!

after making the mistake of putting the wrong phone number for my shipping, i had slightly delayed shipping. but the dancewear centre fixed the issue quickly and kept in touch with me to make sure i got my purchase. they are very, very nice! shipping is quick and they use a friendly delivery service. the legwarmers i bought are nice quality and a great price compared to other stores. thank you for a positive shopping experience :)

i went to go purchase my first pair of pointe shoes today and the lady who fitted me was so kind and really talked me through everything i need to know about pointe. she looked rather young, like she was a graduated dancer, but she definitely knew what she was doing and also made it a super easy and chill fitting. if you’re looking to buy your first pair of pointe shoes or looking for any dance needs, I definitely recommend this store. They had all types of leos, dance clothes, shoes and even some body care items. I loved my experience here and I definitely will be returning for things for the competition time!

Love going to this dance store as we are in Toronto quite a bit. Has a good variety of dancewear and other fun products. Went there recently and noticed they have a large selection of activewear as well! Didn’t get a chance to try any of it on but the next time I visit I will definitely check it out. Also loved their wall by the checkout. Had to take a photo of it to share!

I came with my three kids and ofcourse they were all excited to get stuff for their new dance season. The girl who helped us was so patient and so helpful. Not too many places carry Irish Dance shoes, but they have a small selection of good ones. The Hulachan H4 split soles have really improved my daughters arch and point.

I purchased a garment bag that had a defective zipper, and they replaced it immediately- no questions asked. I also really like the website; lots of selection and easy to navigate. This place is fantastic. I'm an adult starting ballet lessons soon for the first time and knew pretty much nothing when I walked in the store. Someone offered to help me right away, explained the different types of shoes, pulled sizes quickly, answered my questions, etc. I had my ballet shoes picked within 5 minutes but felt no pressure. I don't know enough about the selection at the average dance store to comment on the selection here but I can say the service was fabulous and I will definitely return to this store.

Both my daughters, 12 and 14 are dancers in all genres of dance and this is definitely the store to go to. The store usually gets quite busy at the beginning of the season so this year I am going to try to come earlier! (I'm one of those dance moms that leave this stuff to the last minute). Regardless of my delayed shopping trip to the store the girls at the store are always there to help and guide my daughters to getting the right uniform for our studio. We absolutely love going here even though when we leave we usually end up spending lots of money. I always go into the store thinking I am just going to get the girls their essentials but somehow the two of them convince me to get them extra leotards and fancy foot undies! Thanks mom! Anyways, our family always appreciates the staff's help and the stores selection of dance clothes and shoes!

If you are in need of pointe shoes (or any dance shoes/dance wear) I highly recommend this store! I had an appointment for pointe shoe fitting which went long because I was struggling to find a shoe that my 50 year old feet could handle! Makaydah was so kind and patient with me and brought me shoe after shoe until I found something. I felt so bad that I had taken up so much of her time that I didn't stay to look at anything else the store had to offer (which is a lot!!) but I will definitely go back. Thank you!

Friendly and helpful attendants but not all of them are familiar with dance/ballet clothing. My daughter needed a chiffon skirt and the person helping didn't know which style would fit weĺl nor how it should look when on...like appropriate length etc. Consequently she had to ask 2 other colleagues to help and we spent a good 45 minutes instead of perhaps 15 minutes to purchase a single item.
