I felt very welcome and comfortable at my recent bridal appointment. I just brought my sister with me, and there was only one other bride in the shop at the same time, so it pretty much felt like we had the whole shop to ourselves. I said yes to my dress on the first visit! Kasia was patient, sociable, and didn't make us feel rushed or pressured. We appreciated that she seemed to properly gauge and react to our very chill energy levels and never "sounded" like a saleswoman (having worked in retail one of my pet peeves is when consultants exude over-the-top or off-putting high energy, or say "You don't seem very excited!" just because I'm not squealing :P) She also explained how they carefully select their dresses and wouldn't bring in anything that they wouldn't wear themselves. I would definitely recommend this shop (and Kasia) to all lower mainland brides. :)

I am so happy I went to Isabelles! It was my 5th store to find a wedding dress and by then I felt so defeated thinking I will never find “the one”. I told Basha (sorry if I misspelled your name!) about how I was feeling and what I was looking for and she was like “yup I have the one for you”. And she was right! The first dress I tried on was perfect BUT for the last dress, she had me try on one more and thats when I felt that it was “the one”. June 2016. I was fat shamed and pushed into buying a dress 3x my budget and many sizes too big. They said I wouldn’t find a dress big enough elsewhere - I was only a 14. I should have walked away. They also had another woman trying it on and walking through the shop after I Said Yes To The Dress. That’s a HUGE taboo that they pull all the time - the twin sales ladies will switch places and say “be right back with this” and give your dress to someone else! You prepay for alterations, $800 upfront. The seamstress hemmed my dress for heels (I requested a hem for flats/barefoot, so I was tripping all night) and ignored my request for a dark thread for my bustle. We couldn’t find it and I ended up carrying my train all night. That’s it - nothing off the sides, barely anything to the bust, and they added $400 straps, telling me “they’re, like, $50, from 2 years ago”. I was a 14 in a 22 dress and I bawled my eyes out. I felt like I was wearing a sack. Do yourself a kindness and go elsewhere.

My daughter and I visited 3 bridal boutiques and ended up choosing Isabelle. They are very friendly and yet very professional. They have a selection of lovely dresses from which thankfully they exclude cheap looking ones. Just different styles for different tastes and budgets, but all well designed and classy. The dress was perfect for my daughter. It was what she was looking for. She chose it freely and without pressure from the staff. It was received on time and delivered to us immaculately ready to use. I will recommend Isabelle to all my friends.

I nervously made an appointment to try on some dresses. when i arrived i was warmly greeted, my friend, step son and i were given slippers to wear and shown all the things. I was afraid my budget was too small for the huge ballgown i had hoped for, so i put that dress out of my mind !! BUT!! THAT IS THE DRESS I GOT AND THE VEIL all in my budge. I was so joyful, the experience was beautiful and will be a cherished memory for me, forever. Getting engaged and married during covid has been hard, so many people we love cannot join us, yet, along the way, all i have experienced, is love, from Basha at Isabelle's Bridal, to sharing this review with all of you. I hope that you do give Isabelles a try if you are thinking of it, cus, i assure you, it was a delightful, positive, SAFE and successful experience for me.

Basia made my experience of finding my wedding dress so incredibly special and personal. I went to a few other bridal stores before Isabelle’s and felt slightly discouraged after trying on numerous dresses that just didnt suit me or fit me quite right. I went to Isabelle’s with my mother and sister and my mom picked out the one I fell in love with. I was able to make customizations to the dress to make it even more special for me. They were always so available to answer any questions throughout the waiting process. I highly recommend any future brides to go to Isabelle’s for their incredible selection of gorgeous gowns and their amazing service!

Amazing service! This was by far the best bridal dress shopping experience I had in metro-Vancouver! My consultant absolutely nailed it when suggesting dresses to me! I tried on dresses I LOVED and would have never though to try on! But best of all, I had my eye on a gown I had found at a different place (where it was WAY over my budget) and it was not only listed for less than the other place, but they also took even more off the dress! I was so happy that I found THE dress and at THE best price.

My mom and I went to Isabelle’s a week ago and were so impressed by the service Kasia provided! From the moment we walked in we felt welcome! I’m type A and had my wedding book with me, and she was so excited as I showed her what I was looking for - and knew right away the style and fit I wanted. She took the time to ask about my wedding theme, and what the boys will be wearing and the bridesmaids to really understand my vision for the day. Next up; the dresses. I’m very set in my ways and know what I want. And the first dress she showed me and put me in was The Dress, it was perfect. It was like my vision had literally jumped off the page and into reality. From there I tried on a few others but that first one was perfect. Kasia let me try it on again and really test it, which was amazing so that I could feel super confident in the dress and ensure it was going to work for my day. I’m so happy we choose to to Isabelle’s and so thankful to Kasia for making the experience one of a kind!!! I’d highly recommend any bride go here!

The dress arrived 2 weeks before the wedding date. It was intentional obviously, since I had placed the order 9 months earlier. The ladies were very helpful picking out the dress, and making a sale, however the alterations were appalling. I said on my second fitting that I was deeply unhappy with the way it was sagging through the middle. I was told that I can fix it simply by steam cleaning it, and there was nothing she could do. I also asked to get the bust fixed. She told me she could not alter it to fit due to the lace. I don't know anything about tailoring, so I believed her. When I tried on the dress with someone else who knows about alterations, they immediately said I needed whale boning etc. Long story short - the lady could not be bothered fixing it. I took my dress to be altered at Lilianne's Bridal on West Broadway and she immediately fixed it properly. And guess what,,,,I spotted 2 other Isabelle Bridal wedding dresses on her rack waiting to be re-altered...

Well it appears I can't add another review so Ill just add to this one. changing my stars from 4 to 5. Today I ordered my wedding dress and I could not be more excited or happier. I went to every store I possibly could and in the end Isabelle's had the perfect dress for the best price and the most honest genuine staff. The staff are so sweet and knowledgeable, it made me feel like they didn't just want my order but they wanted me to be happy on my very special day. I can not wait to get my dress in and wear it on my wedding day. This is my second wedding and I have to say this was a dream experience for me. I wish I would have gone to this store the first time I got married. I even went to all the stores I went to the first time and got the same experience as last time (2005) so they have not changed and Im happy to not have to give them my business. Isabelle's Bridal was the best all around!!!! I can't wait to send them my thank you card for the wall of "love" and be part of the memories. Feb 14th 2019 - This was not my first store BUT by far the best yet. Im only giving them 4 stars because I haven't bought my dress yet and I feel like if I give them 5 I should have the full experience. However if its anything like the service I had today it will be amazing. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They showed me the exact styles I was looking for and I had a lot of selection to choose from. I did LOVE one but Im not the type of person to buy on the spot, I need to sleep on it. And I did not feel forced or pressured to buy so that made me feel so comfortable. Other stores have been pushy this is a big day a large amount of money so I want the feeling to be right. We all need to do things different ways and I was really happy to have the 5 star service with the zero pressure. Thank you so much to Isabelles Bridal!

I ordered my dress from Isabelle's right before COVID hit which was lucky as we ended up eloping/having a microwedding 7 months earlier than our original date. Despite a slight miscommunication where the new date hadn't been saved in my file, the team at Isabelle's wasted no effort making sure my dress got there in time. I received great service, prompt responses, felt no pressure at any time to buy the dress or any extras and I got my alterations done with them also. Really happy with the way it fit and how everything turned out - points for steaming my additional items which weren't even purchased there.

Kasia is helpful & communication with her was easy, almost like speaking with a friend. Although found deception with pricing.. Sales consultant who initially assisted us quoted bridesmaids dresses as $300, alterations included in price.. Later, told $575... Wedding dress was ordered in mid October. Wasn't received until mid July with wedding being in August. On top of it, being from out of town & having to drive to Vancouver three times in the short month duration before wedding for alterations, was an added stress & exasperating inconvenience. Looking back, I would have went else where for alterations. Contrary to what I was told cost of alterations were an added cost & horribly done. The Front of dress was intensely wrinkled from being taken it in. When I told the seamtress my concerns around the hip she said there was nothing she could do about it. Thankfully my MOH was there & agreed it was indeed too noticeable & needed to be fixed, or the seamstress would have completely ignored my request. It was my MOH that figured out a way for wrinkles to be a little less distinct. The back clasp on my dress broke shortly after putting it on... I was sown in my dress as a temporary fix... Isabelle's Bridal hardly fixed what had broke & I still have button loops that aren't sown. As unfortunate as it is to have this happen on your wedding day, I think it's just one of the many possible speed bumps that come with a wedding no matter how high end the price tag. Keep a mini sowing kit on hand & if your dress is weighing on the heavier side, see if you can ensure secured buttons & clasps. Another set back... the designer of bridesmaids dresses claimed bankruptcy.. While I wondered why the dresses took so long to come in than quoted date especially with wedding being two weeks away at this point, no one from Isabelle’s Bridal called me. Instead they waited until I had drove down for last alteration appointment to inform me that one of rose gold dresses in was blue. Luckily Kasia had a dress same size & same colour with the slightest difference infront to correct the potential crisis right there during that visit. Other than a few inaccurate quotes by the different staff, the girls were helpful & accommodating. The biggest issue was the alterations. Id go elsewhere - that much money on a dress to have a seamstress create such a flaw is somewhat devastating.

I had such a great experience at Isabelle's in 2019 after visiting many other bridal stores locally and in Vancouver. This was where I found the perfect dress for me, assisted & not rushed or pressured at all. It has obviously been a challenging year for the industry and brides getting married in 2020 & 2021, but this was by far one of the more enjoyable decisions and very happy I got to wear my dream dress, no alterations required in August 2021. They are both incredibly kind and they do everything in their power to make sure you find your perfect dress! I took my niece there for her prom dress. All three of the sales team made this an above and beyond experience. They were helpful, warm, professional and helped us understand the differences in some dresses, they adjusted the dresses on her body so my niece could really visualize herself in each one. We loved two dresses and were stuck figuring out which was the winner and they found another one that was the exact qualities we loved in both. I'd highly recommend this boutique for the service alone but their dress selection was equally top notch. Thank you for making it such a positive experience on both visits!

The ladies at Isabelle's were amazing to work with from start to finish. I had been to a couple other places looking for wedding dresses but I was having a hard time with employees being pushy, unhelpful, and it was so overwhelming to try and sort through hundreds of dresses. Isabelle's was a breath of fresh air! The girls were helpful and honest without being forceful, and their selection of dresses is incredible. I loved every single one that I tried on. Quality over quantity! Their seamstress was amazing to work with as well, my dress arrived quite a bit bigger than expected and I was nervous about the way it would fit me. No issues what so ever! They were able to help with anything I needed and always went the extra mile to suggest jewelry ideas, hair style ideas, etc. I just picked up my dress the other day and I am so happy with the final product. I would recommend them 100%.

Found my dress here and I couldn't be happier. They carry the most beautiful selection of modern bridal gowns. Isabelle's was only my 2nd bridal boutique, I cancelled the many other appointments I had coming. Nearly every dress here I could vision myself in and I even surprised myself that the dress I did end up choosing wasn't even my initial style to begin with! The service I received was wonderful. The moment I walked in it was a very welcoming and calm atmosphere. I got to wander and pick on my own which is what I prefer and without any pressure. I had Cera as my consultant and she was incredible. She was helpful and thoughtful, and gave me really wonderful advice without pushing anything on me. My budget was very, very, small but she didn't treat us any differently than anyone else, and even gave very practical advice on what things we could save money on and what things she recommended were not 'worth' the savings. My rambunctious party of 3 bridesmaids, and 2 guys (close friends of my fiance and I) had a wonderful time. We found the perfect dress within my budget and had a wonderful time! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone starting out-- even if you think your budget will be too small for a bridal salon. They are so helpful and nice!

The store is a cute little boutique and has an amazing selection of dresses. Both ladies went out of their way to make me feel so special. They were both so professional, friendly and attentive. When I was worried that my veil might not arrive on time (because I ordered it a little last minute), Basia assured me that it would come just in time and she did not disappoint. I just bough the most beautiful wedding dress at Isabelle's Bridal. I also thought this would be good place to write my review as honestly I couldn't be happier. I have shopped for about 2 months casually going to bridal stores but as pretty as the dresses were I just didn't have that " this is my dress moment" so I just kept on shopping. Then I made an appointment at Isabelle's Bridal and little did I know that this was going to be the place that I actually found my dress !! From the moment that I walked in, I felt so special. The staff were so incredibly sweet and welcoming and the selection of dresses in this beautiful boutique were nothing short of amazing. To be honest the minute I walked in.....I quickly realized and thought this is where I am going to find my dress !! All in all the whole experience still has me smiling and I can't wait to see my dress and walk down the isle to become a Mrs.....eeek !!

This is such an amazing bridal store. Basia and Kasia were extremely helpful trying to help me track down a dress, and were super accommodating with fitting me in last minute. Besides just being lovely people, you could see that they really cared and wanted every bride to have a positive experience there. The whole experience was wonderful, the store is beautiful and well arranged, I never felt rushed or pressured. I ended up getting a totally different dress than I expected. They actively picked out dresses for me to try based on different aspects I liked, which was a breath of fresh air compared to other stores where you had to browse around through hundreds of options. It's definitely worth booking an appointment here, especially if you get overwhelmed by wedding dress shopping. 10/10 recommend.

From start to finish my experience at Isabelle's was perfection. Basia listened to my feedback and made sure to pull dresses that she felt fit what I wanted. She ensured we had plenty of time and did not rush us. I bought my dress and vail. Djamila did my alterations, and they were perfect! She added boning to ensure I was well supported on the day of my wedding. I would 100% recommend to a friend!

These ladies are AMAZING! They go above and beyond to help you find your dress. I purchased my dress from here and got my alterations done. The girls made sure they could do anything for me to purchase my dress at an affordable price as it was slightly above my original budget. Also made sure they gave me a set price for alterations and that did not change. I honestly couldn't tell you who was more helpful, the twins or the alterations ladies! I am having a destination wedding and they have offered to help make sure the dress is ready for the plane and everything. Beyond pleasant experience here and would highly recommend other brides to check it out!

I've lived in North Van my entire life, and since I was a young girl have always admired the dresses in Isabelle's Bridal window display. When I got engaged - Isabelle's was the first place I went to shop for my wedding dress. I tried on 5 dresses and the 5th was the "one!". The dress was everything I'd ever imagined my wedding dress would be. I feel like a total princess in it, and found a beautiful veil to match as well. This was such a confidence-boosting experience! Before going to Isabella's, I went to a different bridal shop in Vancouver and left feeling like every dress looked terrible, was out of my budget, and that I would never find the right dress. When I got to Isabella's I was in a bad mood and ready to give up. WOW, EVERY dress I tried on at Isabella's was BEAUTIFUL! I usually don't enjoy shopping because I feel pretty self-conscious in everything I try on but the team at Isabella's is so amazing at picking all the right dresses to suit each body type. They really made me feel beautiful in my own skin! I had three lovely ladies helping me out but my consultant was Kasia and she is kind, funny, knowledgeable, and patient. When I found the right dress, I just felt a little unsure about the straps so they brought their seamstress out, Djamila and she helped me design custom straps for my dress. I had 'the moment' and cried! I felt so happy and beautiful and like the dress with the custom straps was absolutely perfect for me! I brought my mom and sister and they all had such a great time! We are going to come back for my sister's wedding dress! Isabella's is going to be where everyone in my family will go for dresses!
