This is just the best clothing store bar none!!! No matter your size, I can almost guarantee you'll find a good fit in the store. The clothing is high quality, and made from natural fibers, including bamboo, cotton, wool, cashmere, and modal. Thus the clothing is kind to the environment, and feels wonderful. The company is a fair trade one, which means everyone who does work for them, is treated with care and respect. Speaking from personal experience, the staff in the North Vancouver store are very friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. For example, when the store opened again once the covid-19 crisis eased, I went in to see if a dress I'd ordered on line was in. (Yes, you could - and still can - buy their clothing during the closure by ordering on line, and shipping was/is free on orders over $149.). I was told there had been so many online orders that by the time mine came up, the dress was sold out. It was very busy in the store that day, but the staff went out of their way to find another dress I might like. I came home with 2 dresses, and if I remember correctly, both were on sale! Check it out - you won't be disappointed.

I had no time to go in the store and browse. The store associate directed me to the website. Found the black leggings I needed. Call the store and they had them at the cash register for me. I was in and out within minutes. The leggings (Riley) I got fit absolutely amazing. Great price, excellent quality and fabulous customer service. Thanks Blue Sky Clothing! I'll be back soon.

I recently discovered blue sky on the drive and was really happy to have found such amazing clothing options (their sizing is extremely generous and their underwear is so comfy). I stopped into the store in North Van tonight on my way somewhere and three employees were gathered at the register talking loudly first about another employee and then about a customer that had been in earlier. That would have been fine had they been expressing anything positive, but I don't need to hear trash talking when I'm trying to shop. It left me wondering what they would say about me after I left. One sales girl was overly friendly (to the point of seeming fake and being annoying with her hovering) and I was in no mood to listen to her babble as I really just wanted to get my purchases and leave. I will certainly hesitate before coming back to this location which is unfortunate because it's convenient.

In the past I had found some really cute dresses here. I found three really nice summer dresses here but I have not been able to find anything similar now. I really like the larger prints that are fun and pretty. Hopefully in the future more tropical prints come in. I'm going to try posting a picture of my three favorite dresses from there.

OMG... I love this store!! Discovered it a few weeks ago & now feel as tho there's no need to ever shop elsewhere again. The bamboo / lycra blend feels amazing & the fit is flattering even on my plus size figure. Customer service is exceptional & the staff's knowledge of the extensive inventory is impressive!!

Amazing clothing and great customer service! Most of the items are bamboo and the store offers organic clothing! The merino wool socks are great!! My personal favourite is the Catherine Coat. Masks are great too. They do have some in-store sales going on. You get good deals over their online store as well, $10, $20 and flash sale items!!

My favorite go to store for summer tops. The cotton tops drape nicely and there is such a fabulous selection of sizes and colors. A store that serves all women's sizes and the cuts are flattering for many body shapes. Love this store!

I seem to spend a lot of money in this store! They have a great selection of colours, textures and clothing styles. I like that a majority of the fabrics used are bamboo or are blended with bamboo such as bamboo and cotton or bamboo and merino wool. My guys like their bamboo undergarments. Got a blouse as bday gift from this store I never knew it existed. The size was too small for me so I went in to get either bigger size or something else since my friend included the receipt. Everything in the store was well organized but still I couldn't find the same blouse and I didn't want to waste time so I picked another tank top that wasn't the same price but less. It was less b/c all the tank tops were apparently on sale, had a sign on top saying everything was $20. I double checked with a clerk and she confirmed it. But when I went to the front with it and to exchange, she seemed really confused, then tried to say the one I picked wasn't $20 but the actual price on the tag. So I stopped her there and had to point out that she told me it was on sale. Then she said I have to pick something else anyway, that costs exactly the same as the one I was trying to exchange. At this point I asked for her supervisor but she ignored. Her point was that if I got the $20 tank top then there'll be $10 difference. (like that's a bad thing for the store.) So since I was going to get a gift card for my friend (who got me this blouse) I asked if they could put that extra $10 to the GC, but she said that's not possible. Fine- so I said I don't need the extra in change- just want to exchange it- and she would still give me this look as if I'm trying to scam her or something. Finally she asked for her supervisor and she said that I'm trying to exchange for less- well thank god the supervisor understood and had her deal with tallying later since I'm getting something less. After the supervisor left I got the gift card for my friend but this will be my last $ spent at this store. Return and exchange is this difficult and annoying so do mind before you shop. Especially if it's a gift for someone else, I recommend you shop else where or get a gift card- otherwise. That two stars are for the supervisor who saved me from giving up on my birthday present from my friend because I was ready to just leave that stupid blouse on the counter and get out.

What a wonderful store! The clothing is beautiful and amazing, but the staff here are incredible. As a plus sized woman, I rarely have an enjoyable time shopping for clothing and I usually avoid trying things on at all. The staff here looked after me so well and treated me like royalty. I can't express how grateful I am and how wonderful it was to have my size available in everything I wanted to try, to have everything fit, and to have people helping me who didn't make me feel embarrassed or like an annoying burden. My favourite of all the Blue Sky stores - best selection. I love all their dresses but especially the Sara - I get compliments every time I wear it. Amazing that the same dress design can look great on my slim teenage daughter and my round middle-age self! Love their designs, fabrics, colours. The best!

I have purchased clothing from Blue Sky for several years now. I love that the designer is Vancouver based and that the fabrics are mostly all bamboo and organic cotton. There are the most comfortable underwear for men and women in a variety of styles and patterns. There are several locations throughout Greater Vancouver. Their sizes run from XXS to 4X so there is something for everyone. The stores are well-organized and well-staffed.

These ladies make shopping fun. I'm saying this as someone for whom shopping is generally not an enjoyable experience. I shop at Blue Sky for a variety of reasons: They never run out of sizes. Their items are made of organic fibers and are fairly traded. They always offer honest, helpful feedback and if their expert eyes spot one particular item doesn't fit you perfectly, they will suggest another that will and will explain their reasons. Great spot to shop!

Love the variety of clothing. I've been shopping here for several years. The quality of tye clothes is very good. I love the fact that the styles have a bit of flair and shape to enhance curves and flatter a larger profile. I'd love to see more linen in some bold, rich colors....love, love, love linen.

Had the most fabulous experience shopping here! Staff were incredibly helpful and recommended items for my specific body type and age. They picked pieces I never would have thought of but work great for me as a younger (and shorter) person. The clothes were natural fibres, easy to wash and dry, durable, and they pay the people who sew the garments fair prices (they don't use sweat shops to make their clothes). I had an amazing experience with Daya (sorry if I got the name wrong!) She was amazingly helpful and really worked one on one with me. She gave phenomenal customer service and I couldn't be more happy with my experience there. She definitely brightened my day and I left feeling happy and amazing! Thank you so much! I will definitely be back to shop here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for long lasting quality clothes.

One of my favourite clothing stores because I love the colours, patterns and type of materials they use. Their range of sizes, from XS to 4X, is very good at accommodating various body types. Their prices aren’t bad when you look at the quality of the clothing. This is mainly a women’s clothing store, but they also have a small section called Blue Sky Guy, which caters to men. The Lonsdale location is the flagship store, but they have several other locations, including Commercial Drive. There is a clearance rack offering 50% off; as well as a tent sale a couple times a year where everything is $20. Bargains can also be had from their website, if you are an online shopper.

I agree completely with the review by Melissa. The staff are wonderful-helpful when asked but never intrusive. Particularly with Daya who will not only suggest things that I might not have thought of, but also tell me honestly when something doesn't look right on me, rather than try to sell me. I go by this store just to see what might be new, and invariably find something to take with me. Integrity, quality, amazing staff! Great store!

I purchased two Tessa tee shirts on line. Picked them up on Sunday. One was a 3/4 sleeve shirt the other was a short sleeve tee, both in size small. I was excited to try them on when I got home only to find the short sleeve tee was too small. I already have a couple of Tessa Tees , both in Small and both fit beautifully. I do feel that the small tee has been miss-labled as it fits just like an extra small as I have tried on a couple in store. I contacted their customer service via e-mail and asked if I could do a straight exchange for a size medium, even though I did realize it was one of their clearance items and they do not do exchanges or refunds. I was going to pick it up from one of their stores making it easy for them and they flat out refused. I really love Blue Sky clothing, but this time they dropped the ball. They had the opportunity to make one of their loyal customers very happy by doing something that would have cost them nothing. Their web site even shows they have the same tee in a size medium. I am sure they transfer garments from store to store on a regular basis, is that not their business? Going forward I will think twice before I buy anything from Blue Sky.
