My experience as always was so wonderful, not only is it great to catch up with the employees and being remembered from my last purchase which made the welcoming feeling so much more alive. I absolutely adore the quality of clothing Sharon carries, pieces that demonstrate style and quality classic fibres that are timeless. I have been shopping at Great Things since it opened 24 years ago visiting at least twice a year to get beautiful clothes for different seasons. Most of my wardrobe is made of pieces that Sharon, the owner, selects keeping in mind my preferences. She also helps my sister who lives in Paris but visits Great Things every year. Coming here has become our family tradition and a very special time. When we travel our suitcases can be easily packed exclusively with great things from Great Things. I can’t imagine what I would do without Sharon, her perceptive eye, her fantastic taste and her ability to work with her customers!

I was blown away by the small details she remembers about each of her Customers and the product knowledge she had on each garment down to the fabric makeup. Love love love this store and Sharon has the absolute best collection of clothing going. She buys top quality clothing that is also flattering as well as modern. My Aunt and I have shopped here for years and Sharon will message me with any collections of clothing I would like as she has gotten to know my taste. If you want amazing quality clothing that will last for ever this is the place to go as it is well worth the money and all of the staff are pleasant and honest. What a horrible experience I had in this store. I was chatting with a friend while browsing telling my friend that I had bought some nice clothes at Sam's Club in Florida. The sales person over heard our conversation and said that's pretty sad if you buy your clothes at Sam's Club. I was shocked with such rudeness. Nothing but pure snobbery!!! I hate to give any stars to this store! I will never go back and I will tell a lot of friends this story....

Wonderful shopping experience! The clothing is high quality and the service is knowledgable and friendly. The owner and staff have a great eye for what will look good on your body type and put together great outfits that I would have never found myself. Great quality clothes and knowledgable and custom service is very hard to find these days. Definitely a place I will come again.

If there was a 'negative' star to rate the service of this store I would have chosen that as 1 star is too good. No matter how great the items or selection are in a store, first and foremost should be the service and how to treat customers. The salesperson my friends and I encountered recently while shopping there made a very derogatory comment pertaining to 'where she said she purchased some of her clothes in the past'. Perhaps a brush up on how to be polite to customers is required.

This staff are the snottiest people have ever come across. “This section is closed because it has higher end merchandise”. Really. They obviously don’t know how to read people. They should let their customers decide what they can or cannot afford. Don’t insult them by assuming they can’t afford your merchandise. I will never walk in this store again.

I've had the pleasure of shopping at Great Things for the last 8+ years, when I still worked in Toronto and travelled only to Niagara on the Lake to visit my favoured store. Now I have moved to this beautiful town and Great Things is still my number one store. The service was and still is excellent and the merchandise is of high quality and fashionable. While browsing this shop the salesperson made a very derogatory comment to a conversation that my friend and I were having regarding clothing.We both looked at each other thinking ...did she really say that?? Little did we know that shopping required a Net Worth Statement to be shown at the front door! That seems to be the case with this store I won't be going back and will advise my friends to avoid it too.
