Ariel was a blessing to be with! She made me feel so welcome, she was thoughtful and observant on understanding my desired look and style, while also encouraging me to try something fun and outside the box. My friends loved her energy and she was so easy to get along with. She even helped give us some recommendations on SCA groups and a Jane Austen themed ball. I had so much fun playing dress up. While I didn’t find my dress, I know the first place I take my girlfriends when they become engaged is here, and we are requesting Ariels help. Thanks again for having us.

The Bridal Gallery was fantastic! They have a great selection, and Melody was able to expertly and efficiently help me narrow down what it was I wanted. I especially appreciated her advice regarding which alterations could be made to each dress and what that might look like. I ended up finding my perfect dress on the very first appointment...a surprise considering the hours I'd spent poring over wedding dress websites. Some things that I think made this experience worthy of 5 stars: - Photos, photos, photos. This made a HUGE difference. Bridal Gallery let me take pictures of any dress I wanted, even if I didn't buy it. This made Bridal Gallery a winner for me, especially since with COVID I wasn't allowed to have all my important people there with me. - I arrived half an hour early for my appointment and stayed around half an hour beyond my scheduled window, and they were totally ok with this. - I got to browse the rack myself and pick out dresses I wanted to try on. Even silly ones I wanted to try just for fun; Melody was patient and didn't mind! - Mindful of my budget. I had an experience at a different store where they only picked out dresses at the upper end of my budget. At the Bridal Gallery, I tried on dresses at many different price points, but always staying below my maximum. I ended up spending hundreds less than I would have had to otherwise! Overall, had a great experience. I'd encourage you to pay this place a visit. You won't regret it!

I almost got my dress at The Bridal Gallery, but in the end, it just wasn't meant to be. Despite this, I had the loveliest experience. The staff was all smiles from the moment I came in to the moment I left. Deanna was an awesome stylist, who listened to what I was looking for and gave me helpful feedback for every dress I tried on. The place was beautiful as well, especially the gallery room with the large mirror and the "runway." I could have stayed there looking at myself in their pretty dresses for hours. When I had some issues with a purchase, they were super proactive and quick to resolve it. The only thing I really wished was different was how photos weren't allowed while trying on dresses. I found this to be a roadblock in making decisions because I wanted to be able to look at how the dress looked on me in photos (for obvious reasons!). Other than that, I highly recommend!

I have had amazing service shopping for my dress! The consultants are fantastic in aiding you to narrow down style, material and different aspects of your dress. As this appointment was during COVID, the store had some restrictions, but did not take away from the once in a life time shopping for your dress. Highly recommend bridal gallery.

I was so lucky to have Stacie as my bridal consultant during my visit to The Bridal Gallery. Not only was the store beautiful to shop in but Stacie made this a great experience and was so fun & helpful as a personal shopper to find my wedding dress! She really listened to what I was describing to help narrow the search down to “the one”. I would highly recommend other brides to see this store. We paid for the upgraded VIP shopping experience which ended up being mixed up but that didn’t detract from our overall experience at all. All the staff are so pleasant and helpful!

She is so knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She read my energy with every dress I tried on and she knew exactly what to look for! She was honest and shared my excitement about my big day which means the world to me. I also got the experience of trying on my dress with the veil and walk down a hallway with a mirror so I could see the whole effect, she even handed me a bouquet which made it feel like the real deal! Going to Bridal Gallery after shopping around for a while was by far the best decision I made. Not only did they have a substantial selection of styles to choose from, Natalie was phenomenal. She made the experience of trying on dresses exactly what I imagined it to be - fun. Her warm demeanour and excitement to just engage with myself and 4 sisters, made the entire experience so incredibly pleasant. The store itself was so spacious, private and overall comforting. On the second visit, we went over all the details of the dress. But this is where her customer service goes above and beyond. She knew I wanted a satin overskirt, and it wasn’t something the store currently carried. So to make it easier for me, she spoke to the team and collaboratively found me a place to get the additional overskirt. I felt overwhelmed with just how accommodating and considerate she was through the entire process. Such a joyous and pleasurable experience. Highly recommend folks to go here. And if you do choose to go, request Natalie. You will not regret it!!

Even COVID can't put a damper on the experience of going to The Bridal Gallery. The Gallery itself is beautiful inside, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and there are dresses for every style and size. Ariel was the consultant at my appointment and she really made the experience something extra special. Right off the bat she made me feel at ease and like I was talking to an old friend. She made sure I got to try on things I liked, but also pushed me to try things I wouldn't have considered, all while keeping the whole group laughing and having a good time. And on top of that, I found my perfect dress! 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful experience and fantastic services! Vanessa was my consultant and was so helpful, and attentive from the get go! She really made the experience seamless and encouraged me to try styles outside of what I preferred - which in the end, made a huge difference as I said yes to a dress which had everything I initially did not want! She not only made sure to communicate with me, but read my expressions when trying on the dresses, which really made me feel listened to and comfortable throughout the whole process. With my family being overseas (Cayman Islands), she had no problem with letting me FaceTime them and show them my chosen dress! What an incredible experience! Melody was our bridal consultant and she has an amazing eye for what you’re looking for and what you’ll look and feel beautiful in. It’s the biggest bridal store in Canada so it can be quite overwhelming, but with Melody’s expertise, we felt comfortable knowing we were being well taken care of. We took advantage of the big space we had and the bride was able to walk around and test out her dresses, which we couldn’t get at other stores. The champagne was a nice touch as well ;) my girlfriend found her dress here and they offered to cancel our appointment next door which is such a nice thought. I had booked my appointment last minute and I am SO incredibly grateful they squeezed me in. I’m extremely impressed with their inventory, environment, and team. Everyone was so kind, professional, and friendly. With COVID-19, it’s been tough not having friends to join, but the staff were so friendly, it was like having friends present. My consultant, Teresa, was amazing—to say the very least. It was like having my best friend at my side. With all the beautiful dresses, I didn’t know where to begin, but by the end of it, I walked out with the first dress she had picked. She was so helpful, so kind, so genuine, she helped me work through the decision-making, and boosted my confidence. I was nervous about such a big decision, but she helped me feel better about myself, my body, and the big picture. I had a pleasant experience at the Bridal Gallery. I came here twice and both consultants were helpful and insightful in helping me find my perfect dress. They were patient, polite and provided feedback on what dresses suited my body and look. I did not purchase my gown here, but the store has a huge selection of everything and the consultants here know what they are talking about. I did find the prices on the higher side compared to bridal stores in Langley and Abbotsford, but I would recommend stopping by here as they have a large selection of gowns.

I am from a small town in Saskatchewan, where I had a look at dresses previously but didn't have much luck. My mum lives in White Rock and so it was decided we would have a look while I was visiting. I found the Bridal Gallery while looking at shops on Cameron St. I decided to book my first appointment at this shop and paid the extra $50.00 to have a senior consultant as my guide to wedding dresses. The plus to this $50.00 is that it did go to the dress that I bought. But after the experience I had it wouldn't have mattered if it had or not. I have to honestly say that Savannah set the bar so high and that I truly enjoyed finding my dress at the bridal gallery. Savanna was very attentive and very helpful. I'm a bigger girl and so I was freaked at the thought of trying on dresses but she made it fun and I never felt bad during the whole process. I ended up finding "the" dress but still had a second appointment at another place. After the experience at the Bridal Gallery and the dress I had found , my bar was set and I ended up leaving that appointment early and going back to where my dress was waiting for me as Savanna knew that I had found the dress. The whole finding process went so well and I truly would recommend this gallery to anyone. Thank you Bridal Gallery and Savanna for making me feel like a Bride and making this experience memorable. I do hope the whole alteration process goes as well as the picking process!!

Benny was amazing, she seemed to know exactly what I was looking for and helped me find the perfect dress. Throughout COVID, they were still able to get my wedding dress to me on time. First and foremost this is a review about the service I received during a consultation. I haven't yet received my dress and will update my review once I have. I have to give a huge shout out to my consultant, Cassandra, as well as the young consultant who was shadowing her the day of my consultation, Josie. Cassandra was very professional, patient, knew the products well, and listened to any input both from myself and my mom and aunt, who were with me that day. Although I had requested one style, and was consistently given that style to try on, she offered something different if I was up to try something new - this turned out to be the dress we purchased in the end! We ended up going over our time that day as she had another appointment waiting on her but didn't feel rushed. She even told us that we didn't need to make a decision that day, and that we should step away to think if we felt like it, so I didn't feel pressured at all. After a quick coffee and chat with my folks I had decided on the dress I wanted and, although the Bridal Gallery was absolutely swamped that day, they were more than accommodating and let me to try the two dresses I was debating between again. Josie, who was just shadowing that day, was great! Cassandra had to attend to another bride while I was trying the two dresses on but Josie held her own and helped me out, and when I had questions that Cassandra needed to answer she was there for me as well. She even took time out of her busy day to congratulate me and wish me the best after I decided on the dress I wanted. She was absolutely lovely.

Disappointed that we couldn't return my daughter's Grad dress in April 2020 when the pandemic hit. Still sitting in my room in its bag, unaltered. Wouldn't accept a return. Never worn. She never got to have a Prom. Waste of $600! Not a great policy.

I had a bridal consult with Melody P which was amazing! Having a beach style wedding in Bali meant I wasn’t looking for a traditional wedding gown and definitely something more laidback. When we entered The Bridal Gallery, we were greeted promptly and told to venture around the bridesmaids & mother of the bride area to see if any dresses catch our eye up there. The layout of this place was amazing, well laid out and HUGE. If you have any dresses for any occasion in mind, you most likely will find it here! After showing Melody my vision, we actually settled on a grad dress which not only fit the budget but fit the vision as well! She worked with me to find what worked and what didn’t and I’m so happy I said yes to the dress! :) would highly recommend The Bridal Gallery & Melody P for a consult as she and everyone there were absolute darlings!

This was the third store I visited and while my experience in the other stores was okay, Chelsea, my consultant at The Bridal Gallery, was absolutely amazing. She was respectful of my budget and genuinely wanted me to have the perfect dress and a great shopping experience, and I got both of those. Their selection is amazing and I can’t express with words how excited I am to receive my dress in 4 months! I highly recommend you check this place out before you buy your dress anywhere else.

I would love to give a higher review but I just cant. I am a plus size bride so I was very scared about trying on dresses. We walked in and it was a beautiful store, had a lovely space to sit and try dresses on in, but that was about all the good I can say. The consultant seemed to give up the moment they didnt have the style of dress in my size. I felt very sad and full of doubt as I saw their very poor, poor selection of plus size dresses. All of them where the same style and look... nothing unique to try on. She wouldnt even bring me the dress I wanted to look at since they had it in a small sizer. I felt pushed aside since I was just the fat girl. Even helping me into dresses seemed to be an issue for her and after we left my maid of honour asked me if I was okay, and I wasnt. I felt close to tears. I dont recommend anyone going to this store. I went to 2 other stores that day and those consultants put in work to make me feel happy, confident and fit me into dresses even if they where smaller, just so I could try and visualize a dress in the style I want. I also went here with a bride a few years ago and they where rude and not nice to us then as well and she was a standard size. Edit- I also have just received a text message from the salon stating they would have a trunk show in, that would quote "match what you are looking for." I was curious and looked. NONE of the dresses i was linked to are the style I told the consultant what I wanted. It just shows how that consultant didnt listen to what I wanted. Also the reply from the shop was upsetting and only asking what styles they didnt have that I liked. Not address how the consultant made me feel or address the customer service i was given.

Melody at the Bridal Gallery helped me find my dress and I absolutely love it! I just cannot wait until it comes in and I can put it on again. Was so impressed at her skills on finding which dress would work for me, which was quite different than what I thought I would come out with (I ended up with a strapless satin ball gown instead of a flowy dress with straps and sparkles whaaaat!!!). Though covid times sucks, it was still nice to have a safe appointment that gave myself, my mom, and my sister a small part of the store to ourselves. I went to the bridal gallery for my first appointment of trying on wedding dresses. I got paired with Stacie and she exceeded all my expectations and beyond. She was extremely kind, helpful and patient with my indecisiveness. When I didn’t know what kind of dress I saw myself in, she picked dresses that she thought I would like based off my comments on other dresses, until we found the one! I didn’t expect to leave with a dress on the first go, but I’m so happy I did! The staff is excellent and I had such a great overall experience!

Words cannot describe how amazing my experience was at The Bridal Gallery - right from booking the appointment, all the way to when I purchased the most perfect dress! Due to COVID and also because weekends are extra busy, there is a limit to how many guests a bride can bring to the appointment. The staff made an exception for my family and allowed me to bring one extra guest because I have 3 sisters and also wanted to have my mom at the appointment - which was very important to me because I do not live in BC and wanted to have this experience with my family while I was in town. So being able have my whole family with me already made this experience special. When we arrived, our bridal consultant, Sheila, took the time to listen to all the ideas I had for what kind of dress I was looking for, and also looked at the pictures of the dresses I had tried (and what I liked vs didn't like about them), as well as pictures of the dresses I had saved on my phone. We then took a stroll around the store and both pulled dresses that we thought could work. This was the first time I was able to "browse" the dresses at a bridal store - at the other stores I had tried, I would talk to the consultant and they would pull dresses for me. Sheila encouraged me to touch and feel the different fabrics of the dresses and to try dresses of all different styles so that I can find a shape that works well with my body. I really appreciated this because the previous stores I had been to stuck to the same style of dress with slight variations based on the pictures I had shown them (and clearly, I had no luck). After trying a handful of dresses, we both realized that the style I was trying to go for did not suit my body type and Sheila began pulling dresses for me based on the feedback that I was giving her after each dress. She was so engaged in my whole dress trying process, and so knowledgeable about the store inventory as well as shapes, fabrics, detailing, etc that work for different body types. The dress I ended up falling in love with and choosing for my big day was one that Sheila had pulled for me (and I admit, I would not have even taken notice of if I were left to my own devices; so thank you, Sheila, for finding my perfect dress!!). If you are looking for your perfect dress, I highly recommend The Bridal Gallery! Not only is the store aesthetically beautiful, but they have the biggest selection of dresses across Canada so you will be able to explore practically every style there is to try (styles that you may not have even thought of trying). And if the rest of the consultants are anything like Sheila, you will have an amazing experience. I was not rushed, nor did I feel like I needed to limit the number of dress I selected to try. But rather, Sheila guided me through the process thoroughly yet efficiently, so that I could be confident in my choice once I had found the one - which I did, at The Bridal Gallery!

After having struggled to find my wedding dress, I had visited 9 stores and tried on over 100 dresses, I called them defeated and they got me in right away. After a few consultations at other bridal stores in Vancouver and New West, I booked a consultation at The Bridal Galley with Senior Bridal Consultant, Stacie, who was absolutely amazing. Not only did she listen to what type of dress I was looking for, but she also provided me with a few choices that matched my vision of a wedding dress. Nearing the end of the consultation, it was clear that I was conflicted between two of the dresses, in which Stacie provided my "Say Yes To The Dress" moment, having me walk down the aisle in the two. However, instead of choosing a dress, I decided to return with my mom to make sure this was right. When I returned, Stacie helped with the utmost patience and provided her expertise. We left the store with what I was now sure was the dress meant for me, after trying more than a dozen dresses in other stores. No dress or other consultant at any bridal store gave me the confidence that I experienced here. Aside from my personal experience, I was in the midst of bridal shopping shortly after stores had opened after the covid lockdown. The staff took great precautions at social distancing, and Stacie herself was wearing a mask and gloves for the entire duration of the appointment. I would recommend her services to any future bride looking for their perfect dress as well.

I’d had a few appointments at a few different places at that point and for the most part they were stressful. As soon as I walked in at the Bridal Gallery, I was at ease, AJ was my bridal consult and she really made the experience so much better! She knew exactly what I wanted and helped me figure out the best choice. I didn’t think I’d be walking out with my dress but it was perfect. Highly recommend this place, AJ was so professional and it was the least stressful bridal appointment I’ve had (mostly because I didn’t feel like I ran a marathon when I left). I absolutely love my dress and haven’t felt more confident over a choice.

TL;DR THE BRIDAL GALLERY IS AWESOME THEY HELPED ME SAY YES TO THE DRESS. I can't begin to express how positive my experience was at The Bridal Gallery. Every bride knows how stressful it is to find the perfect gown that feels like you, looks like you and fits your personality perfectly like it was made for only you. Being a very picky and always the "I'm not sure" type of person doesn't help with the anxiety either. Good thing about The Bridal Gallery is that they have Stacie as one of their Head Consultants who was there for me when I felt overwhelmed. The first time I went here, I almost said yes to a dress but I felt this thing that Stacie called "Bridal Confusion" I was torn between two very similar dresses that Stacie had chosen for me (which were both STUNNING btw). During this time of confusion, Stacie was very patient, helpful and comforting which I am very thankful for. I left with no dress that day and didn't think I was gonna come back.. BUT... I SAW THIS BEAUTIFUL DRESS on their instagram during one of the designer's trunkshow and KNEW THAT I WANTED TO TRY ON THE DRESS. I DM'd them to ask about some info and whether they have more spots and they were so quick that I booked an appointment on the last day of the trunk show, JUST LIKE THAT. My appointment came and I let Stacie know that I wanted to try on the dress, at first, Stacie didn't want me to try on the dress because it was a bit over my budget and she didn't want me heartbroken but I tried it on anyway. The dress was lovely. I didn't think that a dress could actually feel like "me". I felt like a bride. I could tell though that my mom prefers a different dress as it wasn't as "traditional" but Stacie stood up for me and added a veil that matches the dress to help with the "more traditional look" and the dress looked even more STUNNING. At that time, I already know I was going to say YES but what helped me even more is the support of EVERYONE in the store, many of the stylist came to see me when I had the dress on received a good load of compliments which is probably what you just need when making a BiG decision. Finally, I SAID YES TO THE DRESS and very excited to wear them for my wedding. Very thankful for everyone in the store, most especially to Stacie. If I could shop here one more time for another dress(which hopefully I wouldn't have to ????), I definitely will! ????

I’m getting married a year and a half from now and I like planning ahead and booked a dress fitting with the lovely AJ that assisted me. I didn’t have any idea what kind of dress I want and I just told her what I didn’t want in a dress. My experience at The Bridal Gallery was amazing! They were really respectful and cognizant about everyone's safety and implemented the proper COVID protocols which put me at ease. My consultant AJ was just so wonderful to work with. She was attentive, honest and professional, even my sister was amazed at how good she was. I went in with an idea of the style of dress I wanted but wasn't quite sure how it would suit my body since I'm on the shorter side at 5 feet tall, so I was open to trying on other styles. AJ and I picked out a few options for me to try on and she made sure she stayed true to what I was looking for while also making suggestions on similar styles which I was absolutely up for trying. Of course all of the dresses were beautiful but I wasn't really connecting with any of them until I tried on one of the last dresses and this was the one she actually picked for me. I didn't want to say it out loud at the time, but when I saw myself in the mirror with that dress on I instantly got the warm fuzzies inside and knew that it was THE one! This just shows the level of expertise AJ has, all the while helping me stay within my budget. Since this was the first shop I went to I felt like I needed to visit a couple more to see what else was out there because I couldn't believe that it was that easy to find THE dress at the very first shop. So I made a second appointment and went to a couple other stores over the next few weeks and nothing compared to the one I tried on at The Bridal gallery, not even close! I already knew my heart was set on that dress from the moment I saw myself in it, so when I went back for my second appointment Melody assisted me and she was also just so fun to work with! So I said yes to the dress and am super excited to have my future husband see me walking down the aisle in my beautiful dress! Well the lovely Melody grabbed the dress I came in for, had me try it on first, and it was love at first sight. I went here with my mother and cousin. Well, what can I say? This place is nothing short of amazing. We were greeted as soon as we walked in with smiles. My appointment was supposed to be with Ariel but she was finishing up with a client, instead of waiting they brought me up to my fitting room and had Deanna come help me. I just want to list off my experience! 1 - my fitting room was the vault, it was so amazing... cozy, romantic, and so much natural light. 2 - Deanna was wonderful at listening to me say my insecurities and what I wanted in a dress and brought amazing selections for me. 3 - I did not feel pressured at all, when I found the dress she had me try on a couple more and could tell that I was in love with the one I ultimately ended up purchasing 4 - she asked our budget and if it was coming near it or over she would say before even trying on the dress, very much appreciated. 5 - when another staff came to do my measurements she was very friendly, and when explaining the sizes to me she didn’t say them out loud (which I didn’t care if she did but nonetheless it was very kind). When we were walking back to the front of the building she was able to tell us a bit of history of the building which is a nice little touch. These ladies take pride in their jobs and made me feel amazing. I felt like I was on say yes to the dress. I would recommend this place!

I had high expectations for the Bridal Gallery, after I found my prom dress here and found many dresses I liked on their website. However, I did not have a good experience this time around as a bride. For starters, there were many other brides in the same area (granted I did come on a Saturday and was early to my appointment but they said they had space), which doesn't make it seem as private and special as some other stores. I literally had to jump over another bride's train to get back into my fitting room. Then, rather than pre-selecting dresses for my appointment, they had me browse the dresses myself, which I didn't mind because I like to see them. However, they insist you try one of each style, even if you already know you don't like that style, which seems like a bit of a waste of time. I told the salesperson my budget and she said most of their dresses were higher, so I told her that's ok I'd still like to try the more expensive ones then. All the dresses I liked were being worn by other brides, and when I pointed that out to my stylist she said she would go grab them later, but she never did. I ended up trying on a bunch of dresses I did not like, which the salesperson could tell because my reaction every time was not good. When I finally found one that was half-decent, she asked me what my thoughts were and I said "this one is nice" and she said "wow that's the biggest reaction you've had yet". Which is saying something, because all the other dresses she had me try were not at all what I was looking for. I felt that she was unable to bring me the styles I was asking for, and maybe this is because the ones I liked were out of budget, because I saw plenty on the website I liked. Then, on the dress I somewhat liked, she was trying to sell me on it by saying "I think this is your favorite because I've shown you all the dresses we have", which is definitely not true because I never tried the nice ones that the other brides were wearing. And she said to my family "we tried about 20 dresses already" when all 4 of us were certain I tried maybe 8 of them (she showed me 20 maybe but I didn't try them all on because I knew I didn't like them). She also told my sister to go browse to see if we missed anything, but then only let her look at one rack and said "I already looked here, we should go back". My sister was so confused because why ask her to browse and then not let her browse? When looking at the dress that was my 'favourite' (out of the styles I was shown), it was not as breath-taking as the one I found earlier at Lisa's bridal next door, and yet was almost $1000 more. They had me walk down their runway with a veil on, and the sales person asked me "are you saying yes to this dress?" Which was very odd because she could tell I wasn't in love with it, so she knew my answer would be no. The whole experience was bad honestly. I felt rushed the whole time, pressured by the salesperson who tried to convince me to like the dress, when she could tell I did not. At other bridal stores, they don't try to sell you on the dress, they just help you find the one you love, but here it felt very forced. Other sales people would also walk by and tell me how stunning I looked in a dress, even though me and my family agreed it was awful, so it seemed disingenuous like they're trying to help each other make a sale. And I am a salesperson as well so I was uncomfortable by these techniques, it felt very Aritzia-like. For prom, this place is great with good selection. For brides, however, I recommend going next door to Lisa's bridal where they are much more helpful, you feel special because you don't have to see a bunch of other brides, and they can bring you great options within your budget. Don't waste your time at the Bridal Gallery because they will bring you dresses you don't like and try to convince you to like them.

I had the pleasure of working with Deanna for our Premium appointment; champagne, a whole area of the shop to ourselves and our run of the racks - so much fun! Deanna quickly understood that I was looking for something "off-trend" and different, and gave me some wonderful options to try on that I would not have considered. I had two friends with me and I was impressed by how she included them and listened to their input as well as giving her own. I felt that she offered honest and constructive feedback, which is the whole point of working with a professional. Listen to her suggestions - you won't regret it! I had heard of brides who had negative experiences with other stores/sellers because they felt pressured to buy a dress that day and even felt judged by the seller for their choice of dress/price range. I highly recommend the private session as you can spend some quality time in a quiet room without lots of other brides, MOB's, bridesmaids and noise. Eight years ago I was able to find my dream prom dress at the Bridal Gallery - so naturally, they were the first place I looked at for my first wedding dress appointment. I was a bit nervous. Lots of wedding dresses I'd seen in magazines and on other brides were absolutely stunning - I just worried about the feat to find one that I felt really suited me. This past weekend I went to the Bridal Gallery. I had booked a premium consultant appointment. I had no idea what I wanted, or at least I thought I didn't, until my bridal consultant Deanna Hollingsworth worked her magic. I didn't have much of a vision for her to go on, but somehow she was able to read me like she'd always known me. Every dress she got me into made me feel beautiful and each gown was unique in their own way. She was attentive on the budget I had set, and I have to say the gowns were all priced very reasonably considering how gorgeous they all are. Not too many dresses after, there was that moment that you always hear about when you just know as soon as you see it - "the one" - where once you get it on your, your heart skips a few beats and your stomach gets all fluttery and she recognized it happening in me right away! It was such a special moment. I said yes of course, I can't believe how perfect this dress is for me I haven't stopped thinking about it since. I feel like this was truly meant to be and the stars aligned for me to have had Deanna take care of me the way she did. She was extremely knowledgeable, supportive and genuine, and it's just not often you get that lucky to cross paths in life with someone like her - especially lucky for me it was during one of the most important decisions of my life! One of the best days in my life so far and it wouldn't have happened without her.

I had a really mixed experience buying my wedding dress from the Bridal Gallery. The sales experience was wonderful, our consultant made it really easy to find my dream dress without any pressure to buy out of budget, I was surprised by how easy it was! I loved having a private area to try the dresses, with no other customers peeping in or anything. After we bought the dress, the experience was completely different. When I went to pick the dress up, I tried it on in a really busy area with teenagers trying grad dresses, I felt rushed through checking over my dress as there was a literal line of people waiting to stand on the podium in front of the mirror. It felt like once they had my money, they weren't going to put in any effort into taking care of me. Long story short, 10/10 recommend buying your dress here, but would recommend taking it elsewhere for alterations.

We booked the premium appointment and was able to get in on a short notice. Our consultant Ariel was awesome. We had a quick talk and got right into picking dresses based on the style I was interested in and some that Ariel believed would also work. After trying on several I was able to find the one I wanted. One that wasn’t on my original idea or even close. Ariel made sure that I was getting the experience and not trying to rush me to make a decision. It was all about me. The building at one time was a bank and it was a muggy day so the air conditioning wasn’t able to keep up with the rooms upstairs. I did find it more pleasant downstairs.

Okay, this was the DREAM consultation. I went to the Bridal Gallery for a bridal appointment (my first ever one!) I honestly didn’t quite know what to expect but my expectations were definitely blown out of the water. First off, the ROOMS. So nice. The space is so gorgeous and comfortable and I felt like fricking royalty getting changed in there. The seating area for my guests was also really comfortable which was of course an awesome bonus. Then, of course, there was Melody, my bridal consultant. AMAZING. Melody is just so good at her job. There’s no other way to put it. I can’t imagine going to another place with another person now. Melody found amazing dresses, she knew what complimented my body, she was respectful of my (very low) budget, she was patient, and she just gave overall amazing advice. (As a side Note, i gotta say- this appointment was a major confidence booster). I ended up buying the FIRST dress I tried on which Melody found for me. It was in budget, and it is gorgeous. I tried on many more, and even went to another appointment, but it just wasn’t the same. When I came back the next day to get my measurements, everyone was just as kind and helpful as they day before. I got to try on the dress again which was AWESOME and they still have me first incentive price since I called the day previously:) Highly highly recommend. (Do note for those with lower budgets though- most dresses here are 1500 and up. Melody found my dress at 1125, so there are some outliers like that, but not a ton. I would still go anyways just to find your fit and your style still!! They have an awesome selection)

If you want a bridal gallery that will lie that your dress is fully paid when it isn't, lie about how long they've had the dress, claiming it had been "over a year" when it had been 3 months, and that will bully, guilt, and threaten you to pick up your dress or they will trash it, (even though their policy even in covid is to store it for a full year) and try to extort you to pay them to ship it to you or you will lose your dress, then this is the place for you. If you don't want liars and extortionists and unnecessary anxiety for your wedding then go elsewhere.

Wow! The Bridal Gallery is exactly the dress experience I had dreamed of for years! From the moment we walked in the door we were met with the utmost professionalism and attention to detail. My consultant, Stacie, was incredible and guided us through the massive store and showed us how the dresses are grouped. She then took us to our private section and took notes on my preferences and the plan of the wedding. After that, she took us through to pick out some dresses. Champagne was popped to help us relax and enjoy too! Stacie was wonderful and insightful during the whole process. I had my heart set on a dress for months before I tried it on, unfortunately it didn’t look how I had imagined, and I was so disappointed. Stacie navigated that like a pro and helped me look at other options. Just as I was starting to lose hope and the panic was starting to kick in, another consultant, Sheila, stopped by to check up on things. I tried on my dream dress again one more time and Sheila pointed out that the things I didn’t like were totally fixable! I immediately burst into tears and so did my mother and future mother-in-law! 5 stars to our sales rep Marie was great. She was kind, welcoming and made the experience fun. 0 stars for the rest of the visit. When we first came into the doors, we were not even looked at for a solid 2-3 minutes. There were 4 sales associates by the counter talking. They gave us a glance and continued conversation. My MOH and I just stood there and wondered if we were imposing (we had an appointment). Finally after their chat was done, one of the women gave us an annoyed look and asked what we were there for…this whole start definitely put a huge damper on the rest of the experience. Although I found a dress that I thought might be the one, I ended up ordering from somewhere else purely cause I was treated so much better at the other place and dresses were almost identical. Note - they will do the spiel on how one price is if you buy now, but will be charged more if you go away to think about it. (I did not encounter it at any other shops) I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I had an amazing experience with Bri at The Bridal Gallery. Wedding dress shopping was one part of planning that I was *not* excited about. I went into my first ever wedding dress appointment feeling anxious and just kind of dreading it. Bri was the perfect consultant. She helped me find beautiful dresses to try on (The Bridal Gallery has a huge and amazing selection), helped me narrow down what I was looking for, and gave constructive feedback while I was trying on dresses - I appreciated her honesty when something wasn't quite right, her expertise in letting me know how a dress in my size would fit differently than the sample, and her general friendliness and professionalism. The store itself is wonderfully laid out. It's easy to browse the dresses, and when it comes time to trying them on, there are many different areas around the store so it feels more private. Prices are clearly tagged on each dress so you can be comfortable trying on dresses only in your budget. My mom and sister had a great time as well, and really appreciated that they were able to take photos during the appointment. I didn't end up "saying yes to the dress" at my first appointment, and ultimately visited a few other shops around Vancouver. Nothing topped my experience at The Bridal Gallery (so many other places the consultants are unfocused/unhelpful or the fitting areas are so busy!), so I eventually went back for another appointment with Bri. It was about a month later, but she remembered so many details about my first appointment and ultimately helped me find the perfect dress. I highly recommend Bri and The Bridal Gallery and can't wait until my dress comes in!

She was helpful, encouraging, and honest when we were making our initial dress selections, but did not impose her opinion or encroach on our decision-making. Where do I begin? I'm from Mexico, I moved to BC a couple of years ago. I've been planning my wedding for over a year now and I waited until the very last minute to book my app. to get my wedding dress because I obviously wanted my mom by my side and I was hoping the border restrictions would lift. I was able to Facetime my mom and bestie from MX (even my dad joined lol) and I brought 2 friends with me. Of course there were tears (sorry Ariel I didn't mean to make you emotional) but most importantly, we had a great time! It was fun, we all laughed, there was a lot of loud, Spanish talk and even Ariel decided to practice her spanish with us! (to all the latin ladies out there, Ariel is your girl!) I didn't know much about the wedding dress shopping process, Ariel walked me through it at the very beginning, she was very clear, she listened carefully to everything I had to say, she made sure I didn't fall in love with a dress that was out of my budget and lastly, all of the dresses that we ended up selecting were beautiful and fit with "my style". Long story short, I said yes to the dress right there, as soon as we said goodbye. I'm very happy and excited to see it once it arrives!! The whole atmosphere at the boutique is just lovely, all of the brides calling each other beautiful, the staff telling you how happy you look. Uplifting and inspiring! Overall, a good experience than expected at The Bridal Gallery. Wasn't expecting to find anything there but my consultant, Cassandra, was very good. She took the time to listen to my situation (style preference, budget) and went to action. She had me pick 5 dresses I like and she also went around to look for some that fit what I said during consultation as well. I ended up liking 2 of them and came back for a follow up appointment with my bridesmaids and sisters before saying yes to the dress. I went on a Tuesday to try on dresses so it was much quieter. Follow up appointment was on a weekday with later hours so it was a little busier. Try not to wait too long before your first and follow up appointment as the dress(es) you like might get sold off the floor (like mine). Good thing the one I really like was still there and the right color (but bigger size) came back to the store so I can try it and visualize better. Downside is definitely not being able to take photos until saying yes to the dress. A big thank you to Cassandra for bringing her professionalism and expertise to the table and helping me find my dress!

Pros: nice building, lots of street parking, lots of choices if you’re size 0-8. Cons: selection of sizes 14 (street size - as we all know wedding dress sizes are magical numbers that don’t mean anything lol) and up are VERY limited and not one gown was long sleeve. They also have a lot of styles on the website that they don’t carry in the store which is a disappointment. I also arrived on time and had to wait 10 minutes for my sales person. There were quite a few people in the lobby and it didn’t feel safe with the covid situation. Lisa Bridal right across the street has a better selection of plus size gowns and overall better customer service.

It was like within minutes she was able to pinpoint and understand my style, body type, and personality. Literally every single dress she had me try on was a winner. But what really helped me find “the one” was her attunement and attention to my energy and emotions. Not only did I find the dress, but I actually loved the process and that says a lot coming from someone who is painfully indecisive. I just cannot say enough good things about her. Melody was my consultant and I had an amazing experience. I purchased my dress yesterday after thinking I was never going to decide on one. I am very indecisive and had no idea what I was doing; I also had no one accompanying me to help, but Melody was super perceptive, professional and very knowledgeable. When I often lacked the proper words to describe how I felt about the dress, she had this uncanny ability to summarize my scattered thoughts in a few complete sentences. I had previously been to several bridal stores and she had the best interpersonal skills compared to the other consultants and the only one who seemingly knew exactly what I was trying to say. She was not the least bit pushy and did not give her personal opinion until I had chosen my favorite, and only upon my request. All the consultants there seemed to be enjoying their work and the work environment appeared warm and supportive. The prices were also very reasonable and in fact, the same dress that I chose would have cost a lot more elsewhere. They did have a very large selection which included all of my favorite styles from the previous bridal shops I visited, in addition to many more that I had not seen before. They also stocked a variety of sizes - including the small sizes which I really appreciated since it allowed me to really see how the dress would fit on me, instead of just imagining with an ill-fitting dress meant for someone with a much larger chest. Everyone was extremely friendly and congratulatory throughout the whole check out process which included taking measurements and putting down a deposit. Based on this experience, I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

I went to 3 other wedding dress stores around New West afterwards and nothing could compete with the styles and selections they have at The Bridal Gallery. Wedding dress shopping can seem daunting and stressful, but Ariel made me and my bridesmaids feel so welcomed and comfortable. Unfortunately my experience here wasn’t super amazing and memorable like dress shopping should be! In short, I spent $3100 on a dress. Another $800 in very basic alterations, $300 for a crown that had missing gems in it (I asked for it to be discounted - they gave me $5 off but I really wanted it and it wasn’t super noticeable, it just sucked to pay almost full price for something that wasn’t in perfect condition.. especially for that price. I was also driving in from quite a distance aways and everytime I came they either “lost” my information, or didn’t properly book my appointment and would tell me too bad so sad and say I could just come back another day after I drove all that way for nothing. Overall it’s something I’m glad I don’t have to do again.

I was apprehensive about searching for a wedding dress because I had a quick engagement and was going to be getting married in 6 weeks, which left little time to find a dress and have alterations done if necessary. Diane put my nerves to rest and she connected very quickly with my sense of style and what it was that I was hoping to find. We toured the gallery and selected a few dresses that we thought might work. I fell in love with the third dress I tried on, and I knew it was the one! It fit my true vintage style, as well as my body perfectly. There was a slight catch - it was a floor model and there was a possibility that I wouldn’t be able to walk away with it that day. The owner of the Gallery happened to be in at the same time as me, and when she saw me in the dress, she knew I had to have it and she was willing to order another dress to act as the floor model. My experience at the Bridal Gallery was incredible, and I’m so thrilled with my dress (and so is my husband, haha)! Thank you so much to Diane and the staff at the Bridal Gallery. I don't often write reviews, but as the process of finding a dress was so difficult I'm motivated to write reviews for the stores I visited to help others. This shop has the perfect balance of things that a wedding dress shops needs. A huge and tasteful selection ( all the best designers); sample sales for the bride that wants to be savvy (and on good dresses too); an in house seamstress who is always on hand and very skilled; And most importantly staff that aren't the least bit snobby (very down to earth and accomodating of whatever your budget and wedding style is). I did find my dress here in the end and they were so nice about putting aside the ones I had shortlisted and getting the dress altered in time. I cannot remember the names of the girls that helped me on my two visits but they were both so amazing! Friendly and helpful with good taste <3 highly recommend!

Large, pretty bridal salon in New West, this was our first place I visited with my daughter while shopping for her wedding dress. I arrived a bit late, my daughter had tried on about 3-4 dresses. She really liked one, but wanted to see more. Our consultant told us they were the largest shop in BC, but that she "had really seen everything they had". I was confused by this comment, since she only tried on a few dresses! I understand everyone needs to do their job, but I felt she was REALLY pushing my daughter to take the dress: it will be gone, etc. High pressure sales are off putting to me, and especially for something as important as a wedding dress. We left and went to Langley, where we thankfully had a much better experience! The consultants there brought her tons of dresses to try, many different styles, no pushing the sale, and she found the dress of her dreams at a wonderful price. The Bridal Gallery is a nice store, but I prefer less sales pressure plus a consultant that encourages trying a wide variety of styles (especially for a bride that was very open to suggestions).

It was evident that they were high quality dresses and I felt like a queen wearing the dresses with the cathedral veil that I also purchased from there! My consultant , Ariel Rivera, was nothing short of amazing. She went up and beyond to help me find my two perfect dresses. She was so accommodating, intuitive, patient and made me feel so comfortable during our 2 hour appointment. She was so knowledgeable about what would look flattering on my body type as well as took other factors into consideration as I tried on multiple dresses (eg. day temperature, dancing, comfort level, etc). We also purchased my fiancé’s tuxedo, 2 suits for our fathers and 9 suits for his groomsmen from their brother company, Debonair FormalWear and they were just as great! The touching part was that Ariel ran into me a few months later during our appointment for the groomsmen’s suits and she immediately recognized and remembered who I was from our consultation - making me feel that the customer service from The Bridal Gallery staff is beyond regular customer service and is genuine relationship-building with their customers. Purchasing my wedding dresses and bridal party’s clothing here was a decision my fiancé and I have never regretted. I highly recommend!

The positives: Natalie was wonderful. She listened to what I wanted in a dress, and she was respectful with my budget. She pulled out pieces she thought would fit well with my silhouette and the type of dress I was looking for. I absolutely recommend her when it comes to finding a dress that fits your needs. I found the dress I was in awe with, It really made me felt like I could get married in that dress. Unfortunately, the reason why I'm giving this place 3 stars is because of the impression I got at the front desk. When I first walked in, our group got pushed to the corner and others came in and were taken care of promptly. I understand if our consultant was running late but there was no update. In fact, when we were asking if we should also take off our shoes, they responded quite firmly: No, and that we needed time to finish our coffee anyways. To be quite honest, the front desk gave us an impression that we didn't fit in. We all got the impression that they seemed sort of stuck up and as if they already assumed we weren't going to get our dress today anyways. That whole ten minute experience is actually the reason why I ended up not saying yes to the dress. I know this is unnecessary information, but I'm a healthcare worker. I've spent the last 2 years of this pandemic dealing with a lot of difficult patients but also difficult situations. I've dealt with thousands of patients in my career and I can sense when I'm being treated differently. The last thing I want from such a significant purchase in my life is to remember the time when I felt like I shouldn't even be in the store. I feel strongly about writing this review because I do feel that part of the experience of getting a dress is that first impression you get when you walk into the store. I know that if I ended up purchasing the dress today, I would have felt really bitter about how I was greeted in the beginning. First impressions do make a difference and this was an example of that.

I had such an amazing experience at The Bridal Gallery!! I booked a premium appointment and our consultant Cassandra was fantastic. I was feeling very nervous and anxious about wedding dress shopping and Cassandra made me and my bride squad feel extremely comfortable right from the get go. She was attentive to my preferences and did everything she could to make sure I found my perfect dress. We could tell she was so experienced because she so seemlessly added a tiara and or veil when she could tell I needed that extra something to picture myself as a bride. She even went the extra mile to challenge me and make sure that the dress I chose was THE ONE. I could not have been happier with her service. I went in with the expectation that I was going to look at dresses but not actually buy one since this was my first time looking. But I am happy to say that I found THE DRESS today!!! The actual store is so beautiful and very bright and clean. I didn’t make it upstairs, but I didn’t need to because there was so much selection on the bottom floor. And walking down the “ball gown runway” felt like a dream. It was a very busy day today because of the trunk show, but it didn’t feel over crowded when I was trying on dresses. It definitely was crowded at the front entrance, but I suppose that is to be expected. I would highly recommend for any bride to be looking for her wedding dress! Everything seemed to fall into place at the Bridal Gallery! They were able to fit me in last minute on a cancellation. First off, the store itself is probably the nicest one I've been to while dress shopping (now the third store I went shopping at). Ariel was my consultant and she was so fabulous! She was very attentive, patient, and knowledgeable! She also got on with my sense of humour and I felt very heard with what I wanted and didn't want. She even challenged me to try on styles out of my comfort zone just to solidify what I really wanted. I never felt pushed or pressured and the couple hours we were there seemed to fly by. Super flexible (they let us video call my parents in ON and take photos of the dress I picked). A ton of selection, like 5x more than other bridal salons I have visited. Lots of space, good about their COVID protocols. And a lot of really well priced dresses (like $1500 ballpark) that are super super nice. Really recommend this place, all around great experience.

Unfortunately, my experience at the Bridal Gallery was not all that I hoped it would be. Walking into the boutique, I was so excited with how many dresses there were and the upscale feel of the shop. I was escorted to a very back corner of the boutique with a very small selection of dresses in my size (size 16-18). I tried on a few dresses, but after several attempts at explaining what style I was looking for (with photos from their website), I felt as though I wasn’t being heard and was repeatedly brought dresses that didn’t match the description I was looking for simply because it was all they had to sample in my size. I passed so many beautiful dresses walking in, but I did not feel that they had an inclusive selection of dresses for those above a size 8. I also felt like it got a bit pushy for me to purchase a dress near the end of my appointment. When I expressed that I was not ready to commit yet, it felt like my stylist abruptly ended the appointment and I left feeling poorly about myself for not being able to fit the dresses I liked because they weren’t available to sample in my size. I left my appointment with a lot of time left in my booking but my stylist walked me to the door, told me to put my shoes on and I felt like it was a very strange end to the appointment. I am left feeling sad and let down after my experience. I encourage the Bridal Gallery to consider carrying a more inclusive size range in all styles of dresses, curvy brides deserve to feel beautiful and pampered too.

This was a great place to start looking for a wedding dress. The location had a upscale vibe to it without being pretentious and gave off a good first impression. The salesperson, Deanna, asked good questions and listened to what I was looking for in a dress. I was then able to browse their selection while she picked out a few of her own ideas. She explained to me the differences between different styles which helped me understand what I was looking for. She was patient and let me try on the same dress a couple of times and I didn't feel pressured to purchase anything that same day. Although we weren't able to take photos (due to copyright of the dresses), she wrote down my choices so I could look for them online (only one of the three choices were online, sadly). I wish that I could have taken photos at The Bridal Gallery because I needed time to think about it after at home instead of trying to remember what it looked like on me. With that said, they were able to accommodate me later in the day without an appointment with my second bridesmaid who wasn't able to attend so I could try on and show her the dresses I liked so far. They also have a large selection of bridesmaids dresses upstairs and other bridal accessories. I made the mistake of falling in love with a dress at The Bridal Gallery which was out of my price range and had to go somewhere else for something more within my budget.

First off, Melody is amazing! So if you do choose to go here I suggest you only see Melody. Knowledgeable, friendly, very easy to connect with and knows her brides!!!! She is incredible. The wedding dress selection is good and there is variety in styles and prices. If you are looking for bridesmaids I would advise to go elsewhere. The service in the bridesmaid area is less than. It is chaotic and one sales person was helping everyone at once. Very few sample to view or try on. The service is sub par and when the store makes an error in sizing they do not take any accountability and blame the customer and suggest they gained a lot of weight (when they didn’t gain any). My reception dress took more than 7 months to arrive. When I followed up they said they told the designer to wait on sending until they had a large order, but I was never consulted or advised. Seemed more like they forgot to order it…. I did go for numerous appointments some of which are paid appointments, I was shopping for multiple dresses and had 4 bridesmaids shopping as well. If you try to hold the store accountable on their errors they only bring up how much time they spend with you or how many appointments you had between yourself and 4 bridesmaids as though that excuses them for making a huge mistake in ordering. A mistake that cost me over $1400. The cost to buy replacement dresses and the cost of the original dresses. They issued a partial refund after they ordered the wrong sizes as if they did me a favour even though they ordered incorrectly. After many back and forth emails I gave up. Nightmare to deal with.

Can’t recommend the bridal gallery and consultant Diane enough! We had an appointment booked about a month in advance to find my wedding dress and unfortunately it had to be cancelled due to a fatal accident on the street and the police shutting down the whole block for the day. I had messaged the bridal gallery explaining I had flown here from northern BC to find my wedding dress and was desperate to get in the following day for an appointment. They understood my situation and worked some magic and were able to get me in the next day! I was lucky enough to be paired up with Diane who went above and beyond to find my dress. She took the time to talk to me and my family about my wedding plans and my fiancé and she said she had a dress in mind. It was the first one I tried on and it was perfect and the one! She was patient and kind all while being my cheerleader. It was the perfect experience. Thank you again to Diane and the bridal gallery, I can’t recommend you all enough!

She would often come out of the room and had to wait for an employee to help fit the dress and then before the hour was up, the employee was pushing us out saying that our time was up. Very disappointing experience. One of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had bridal or otherwise. I am giving one star as I did come here two years ago with my sister and our consultant was great! But for my appointment, we had a consultant that did not treat us nicely. In an almost passive aggressive way. A simple question of "would I be able to look at more dresses?" was met with a stare like I had two heads (my appt was only 45 mins) There was one dress I just didn't like and the sales woman was forcing me to give answers as to why I didn't like it like I was a student and not a thirty year old woman. Then when I found a dress I did like I said I wanted time to think about it. Very reasonable as it's a lot of money. She just stared at me for a long time and then said 'well, is this your dress?'. She rolled her eyes at me. She allover was quite cold and then made some small talk in the changeroom which wasn't bad but I was so confused as only moments before she had been so rude. Lisa's bridal had such nicer staff who were not impatient and let you think about things! Very upset by this experience overall and definitely put a damper on our day for sure. Although I do know The Bridal Gallery does have some amazing consultants my consultant acted like I was just a bother.

The Bridal Gallery in New Westminster was more than I could have asked for! Sheila was my consultant and she was so excited to know that she was the first one to show me wedding dresses. I had no clue what I really wanted, so she had me try a variety of styles so that I knew all of my options. I mentioned that I have some pretty wide swimming shoulders to work with and that inspired her to pull a high-neck halter. She wasn't pushy at all! She read my face and excitement level to help me with any uncertainties and didn't pull anything that I couldn't order in-time or didn't fit my budget. With my sisters being on the island, she had no problem letting me face-time them in to be a part of the big day with my mom and MoH. Extra perk... you feel like an absolute princess trying on dresses because there is a button for the curtains to open and close to reveal you in each dress. I did try on dresses at another location just to be sure, and the service and dress options were nowhere close to comparable. I absolutely loved my experience with the Bridal Gallery and could not imagine having worn any other dress for the big day!

I was coming from the island and so for time I really wish I had cancelled my appointment at The Bridal Gallery and spent more time at another store on bridal row. The space is beautiful and I like how the rooms are organized. However, I did not find the consultant to be very knowledgeable. It seemed like she was more interested in what my fiance and I do for a living than helping me find a dress I loved. The staff overall were very friendly and pleasant for a busy Saturday but when I showed two different dresses of what I was liking (I've now been to several salons and know what I like) I was told they don't carry anything like that. She couldn't even recommend something similar (and I'm not looking for anything outrageous here!) I was told that lace is in at the moment, which I understand, but I was disappointed at the lack of selection for women who want something other than lace. My friend even suggested another style that I was liking but the only dress they had similar to was out of my budget (and my friend found it - not the consultant). I tried on five dresses and some of them were "just because" - I honestly thought the quality of dresses were not that great here. I also felt very pressured here. The consultant kept telling me that I seem to really love the ballgown style of dresses and that I should go for one of the ones I had tried on...clearly I wasn't loving them but she kept pushing anyways. My wedding is in early September and I was told that I should not put off ordering a dress and that realistically I need to order one within the next two weeks or else things will get tough. I realize it takes time and then for alterations etc but no where else has told me that I need to do it RIGHT NOW or I'm risking it. While it looks glamorous from the outside (and inside), I'd definitely pass this store up for others on Columbia St.

The store itself is beautiful and clean, and has a massive selection of dresses. The only thing I didn't realize is that you have to take your shoes off, so I'd recommend bringing socks. There is very soft carpet (and I'm sure the rule exists to keep the dresses clean), but might be more comfortable with socks. I still have my alterations later, so will update on how the alterations go. Overall, I highly recommend the Bridal Gallery :)

I recently had my wedding dress appointment at The Bridal Gallery and had a wonderful experience. To be honest, it wasn’t something I was SUPER excited about but I left the salon feeling really confident and happy about the dress I chose. Stacie was wonderful. She was super personable and it felt like she was a really knowledgeable friend! I am a bit on the shorter side and was having a hard time finding something that I didn’t feel frumpy in or didn’t look like I was playing dress up. I was stuck between two but Stacie gave me the opportunity to walk around, try veils and really make sure I loved the one I ended up with. She was honest about alterations, what the next steps were and respected our budget. She also threw in a few wild card dresses just to show me what’s out there. It didn’t take her long to figure out what I wanted or liked so the appt time was well used! I would recommended coming into this salon and giving them a try. Had a very underwhelming experience at the Bridal Gallery and felt like the stylist and staff were poorly prepped for my appointment. I had looked online prior to booking an appointment to view their stockists and, based on the photos on their website, I picked out a few dresses by one particular designer I was really excited about, so I decided to book an appt. I also took the time to write out the type of dress I was looking for when booking the appt, make a wishlist online, write down the dress numbers based on the photos, etc. But upon arriving at the appointment, not only did they not have any of the dresses I liked, but they also didn't have anything from the designer in store at all.. Those dresses were the reason I booked an appt there, and I had no acknowledgment from the staff or my stylist of all of the information I had provided in advance of the appt (and no acknowledgment that despite they advertise all of those dresses online, they don't actually carry them in store). I feel like it was a waste of a trip from Vancouver.

Although my first visit was disappointing because the assistant I got was quite unpleasant and unhelpful, the rest of my wedding dress shopping experience was amazing after I asked for a different assistant. Melody, the consultant who helped me from second visit onwards, was super friendly, highly experienced and helpful. It was my first experience in a bridal shop and I didn’t really know what to expect. I was also feeling a little apprehensive due to the COVID-19 situation but I had an amazing experience. They had COVID measures in place and we had our own little area which felt very private and well distanced from other people. They have a beautiful store and the lady that helped us initially was great. The problem came when they took my measurements and it was time to pay. It felt very impersonal and rushed. It was also very loud and crowded which added to the unpleasant experience. Their sample size was an 8 which fit me perfectly but when they took my measurements, I was told I should get a size 14 which seemed odd but they said that sample dresses stretch out so I trusted them and signed off on it. I got the dress back and as expected, the dress is massive. I was drowning in it and every seamstress I spoke to said they got the wrong size. I had to take so much in that the shape of the dress just doesn't fit right. It was a pretty dress but now I just don't feel good in it which is sad considering how much I paid (for the dress and alterations). I wish they were more understanding that dress shopping can be really overwhelming for first time brides so we trust and rely on them - maybe that's naive of me. After choosing the dress, they just seemed to care about finalizing the sale above anything else. EDIT: In response to the owner's reply, in my opinion, I don't think the sizing chart was explained thoroughly. I was told that the dress was an 8, my measurements were closer to a 12 so it was best to get a 14. It was 2 sentences and no further explanation or options were given. I also called the next day to see if I could cancel or change the order and they told me they would check to see what they can do but they said to call back later and when we did we were told it was too late. Alterations were also not available at the time and we had to do a curbside pickup due to covid restrictions. It's my fault for not speaking up before signing the papers and I take full responsibility for that. They said they are taking this as a learning opportunity and I'm happy about that. In the end, we had a beautiful wedding and I wasn't going to let an oversized dress ruin our day!

My experience at the Bridal Gallery this past Saturday was perfect. It was very special to share finding my dress with my mom and my Nana present. Although the number in my party was limited and masks required due to COVID, the shopping experience was everything I imagined it should be - and in alignment with the current safety requirements. I went wedding dress shopping for the very first time ever at the Bridal Gallery. I was a little overwhelmed when I first arrived because they have EVERYTHING there. Melody was my consultant and I can’t say enough positive things about her. She clearly knew what she was doing. She had so much knowledge and experience. During my appointment she never made me feel rushed. She had her way of efficiently getting me to try on lots of dresses but also got to try on my favourites more than once. I found my dress at the bridal gallery with Melody’s help! She was so incredibly friendly and helpful. I am a plus size in bridal sizes and the store had many different options and silhouettes for plus sized people as well which was great. Melody also pushed me a bit out of my comfort zone and had me try on other fits and designs I wouldn’t normally think of! She was incredibly patient and friendly, allowing me to try probably a dozen dresses on and to try some one multiple times to ensure my dress was the one. She was also helpful in FaceTiming my mom and taking photos to ensure I was still able to include my supports in the process. Melody made the entire process fun, comfortable, and low stress. I did not feel pressure to purchase or to change my expectations based on my size as I had at other locations. I’m hoping I won’t need another dress any time soon, but if I did, I would be back to see Melody in a heartbeat!

I recently went to the Bridal Gallery to start my search for a wedding gown. Because of the Covid-19 restrictions, I had delayed my original visit in March until July. Once I arrived, it was clear they were taking all the necessary precautions without compromising the unforgettable experience of finding your perfect dress. Teresa was my bridal consultant and she was absolutely wonderful. I didn't know what I was looking for, but Teresa listened to the small amount of feedback I was able to give her and selected a number of beautiful gowns. From the minute you step in the door you can tell this bridal shop takes care of you!! Lanika was my consultant and she was so fun from the get go. She asked to here about my vision for not only my dress, but also the whole wedding day. She wanted themes, colors, etc. She also was interested in how my fiancé and I had met. I brought in my sister, mom, and future mother-in-law and she made she they felt important during the appointment too. She stuck to my budget and made my feel beautiful in every dress, but also took my opinions of dresses to heart. Everything she pulled was beautiful and when I finally had my “moment” she handed my a bouquet and let me walk down a little aisle with a mirror to see myself. I purchased my wedding gown here in December of 2019 for my June 2020 wedding. A few days after I put the deposit down I received a text asking me to review the service I had received. Naturally, I wanted to wait until my dress was ready to go with alterations until I left a review. I'm very glad I waited to write this review as the service at The Bridal Gallery was good up until my dress had arrived. I was notified that due to Covid19 they were unable to alter my dress for me. They basically told me either I should postpone my wedding or pick my dress up curb-side, all while asking for the rest of my dress payment. They told me there was a possibility that if it were safe enough they MIGHT be able to alter my dress before my wedding - but no guarantees that it would be ready in time...Not exactly what I wanted to hear considering my wedding was 1 month away. I'm well aware that we all need to take precautions with Covid19, however, it would have been VERY easy for myself and the seamstress to put on masks. Fitting appointments for measurements do not take very long. I frantically reached out to about 3 other alteration places, ALL of which said they were able to alter my dress quickly even though I had bought my dress elsewhere. The funniest part is that I ended up going to a different bridal boutique who fit me in and altered my dress with no problem. We both wore masks and there was a 2 person limit in the boutique. I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of. I only wish I had purchased my dress there to begin with. I know I'll only need one wedding dress, but I will never recommend The Bridal Gallery to any friends or family. When you spend the kind of money you spend on a fancy gown, you expect incredible service and hospitality from start to FINISH. I felt that all they cared about was getting full payment of my dress and that they could care less about my alterations. They could have atleast sent me some names of places that could help me alter. Nope - please pay for the rest of your dress and pick up curb side. Thanks but no thanks The Bridal Gallery.

From the willingness to let me try on as many styles and dresses I wanted, and the patience to have me go back an forth between two dresses at the very end and take as many photos as I needed. Her lack of pushiness to make a sale was perfect for me!! I have a few more dress stops to stop at tomorrow but I’m pretty sure I’m going to be comparing this one to all the rest and it just may be the one! She was an expert at showing me dresses that fit with how I envisioned my wedding. The Bridal Gallery had every type of dress I was looking for, some straight off of my Pinterest board. Once I started trying them all on Cassandra was an expert at helping me narrow down my favourites. I’m a very picky and indecisive person so I was so worried about finding a dress. But almost all of the dresses she pulled for me were perfect! She was incredibly patient and I found the entire experience fun and not overwhelming at all. At the end I found my dress! The bridal gallery was the first place I went to, and I was helped by Justine. I am having a multicultural multi-day wedding and was fairly strict with my budget as I have multiple outfits. I’d like to point out that I went to several other places over the course of the next few days, and not a single consultant at any other place gave me the service or attention that Justine did. She was so amazing in her suggestions, worked within my budget, and helped me pick out the dress of my dreams! I was so blown away by her kind, friendly demeanour and her enthusiasm in making me feel like it truly is a special time. The selection at this place is also just on point — so so good! Many other places almost seemed to pressure me into spending more and didn’t seem to care what I really wanted. Needless to say I went back to The Bridal Gallery and got my dress (different consultant this time as I was not able to make it there during Justine’s schedule, but another amazing experience with the other consultant). I highly recommend this place to any brides wanting a high end experience. They also offer in house alterations so you don’t have to worry about that!

Out of the five bridal shops I went to, this was by far the worst experience. Actually, it was the only negative experience. Our consultant was not helpful whatsoever and seemed annoyed to be there or try to help me find a dress. I was asked to look around myself and pull what I liked. This was the only place that I did not have dresses selected for me, but that's ok. I had looked at their website and had a list of dresses I would love to try. I explained I understood they won't have them all or even most in samples, but would love it if we could check. My consultant said "ummm... I guess... maybe, if someone has time. But we don't have a lot of the dresses on our website" with a cold and irritated tone. I was confused... she had time? She wasn't helping me choose anything, so couldn't she go check the computer? I felt like an inconvenience the entire time and it was not a good experience. I did not find a single dress I liked, maybe because I wasn't sure where to find what I wanted? Either that or they don't have a single strapless lace mermaid dress. Every other store had plenty to choose from. My sister and mother were appalled by the service. We went next door to Lisa's bridal, were treated like royalty and our consultant went above and beyond. Found 10 dresses I liked, and chose my DREAM dress on the spot. Same yourself the time and negative energy, go next door to Lisa's.

With so many unknown factors with covid, dress shopping was extra stressful but Bri made it an absolutely wonderful experience. First of all, i had an amazing experience here. The staff went above and beyond to provide top customer service to me. I came into the shop with no appointment asking if it was possible to peak at some dresses before deciding if I wanted to try on the dresses here. It was very crowded and busy, but the staff some how squeezed me in to give me a tour. I don't know the name of the woman who gave me the tour, but she took the time to assess what I was looking for and took me right to those dresses and pointed out what she thought I'd like. She completely nailed it. I saw the dress, knew it was the one. They were fully booked when I asked if it was possible to make an appointment for the next day. The staff took their time to rearrange their schedule and was able to fit me in. I came in the next day and Ariel was assigned to my appointment. She made me feel very welcomed, had a wonderful sense of humour, and radiated with enthusiasm. Her attitude definitely rubbed off onto my party group and it made the experience so much better compared to the other shops I have been to. I tried on the dress I initially came here for and I knew it was the one. I didn't even try on the other gorgeous dresses. They have many beautiful modern designs for a very modest price. All staff here have been accommodating, professional, enthusiastic, and helpful. I plan to come back here for my future needs, and definitely recommend brides to come here FIRST. Funny enough, I came back here three times because the dress I wanted wouldn't get out of my mind! I know there have been mixed reviews time to time about the Bridal Gallery but all 3 times my experience here has been AMAZING! I started out with Melody who actually helped me find the dress first. My second visit, Melody wasn't in so Brie (Brianna?) Helped me and she was super sweet as well. Finally I decided to go back one final time and neither Melody or Brie was there so Stacie helped me out and she was so great and personable. I liked that she really wanted to get to know me and wasn't focused on just the dress. In the end I picked the dress that Melody found for me in the first place but the other two ladies reassured my selection and made me feel beautiful in the dress. They were not pushy and they were so freaking sweet and funny. Loved my experience here and I'm sorry for anyone who has had a negative one but maybe they're just feeling the wedding stress? :) I'm a wedding planner with Elle Weddings by the way so I am a little pickier with service and quality but Bridal Gallery has passed in my books.

Had a fantastic experience here; after two appointments I said yes to the dress! The store carries an amazing selection of dresses, including many in smaller sizes, which you’ll definitely appreciate if you’re a petite person like me. One of the most challenging aspects of my dress shopping journey has been trying on dresses that were 5 sizes too big and having to visualize what they would look like on me in the right size. My consultant, Emma, was so kind and helpful throughout the process. I came in not really knowing what I was looking for, but after seeing a few dresses I liked, Emma quickly picked up on my vision and chose a great selection of beautiful gowns for me for try on. I ended up falling in love with one of her selections rather than my own :) 10/10 would recommend the Bridal Gallery and Emma to anyone looking for a wedding gown!

Even though I didn't manage to find my dress (although there were a few "almosts"), I had an amazing experience at The Bridal Gallery. Despite having only had 2 appointments there, it was a great experience and when I had questions via email or request to change my appointment they were so prompt to get back to me with answers and easy rescheduling. I have to thank them for me being able to make the decision in saying yes to the dress at another store because I used their advice to help me.

This was my first time trying on dresses and I loved every minute of it. The first dress I tried on was my dream dress, and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. We ended up putting on dress number one again at the end and I just knew it was the one. Overall it was such an amazing experience and I wish I could re-live that moment over and over again! Stacie made everything go so smoothly and I felt so comfortable the whole time I was there. I can’t say enough good things about Stacie- I said yes to the dress and I can’t stop thinking about it! The stars aligned and I was paired with the fabulous Ariel. She listen to my wish list and helped put my worries aside. I knew I wanted to get a Maggie Sottero dress and The Bridal Gallery had a large inventory of their dresses ! As soon as we walked in we were greeted with friendly professional staff. Myself, my mother and mother in law took a look at a few styles of dresses I wanted to choose and started trying them on. My dressing room area was very private and comfortable for my group. After trying on a few gowns, my consultant actually picked out this amazing dress for me, it fit perfect and I said yes to my dress that day ! Since having such a great experience, we went back for my mother’s dress and she also had an amazing experience picking her dress. Thank you Bridal Gallery for being so professional, helpful and just a gem to deal with during my wedding planning ! Their dresses are absolutely beautiful and so well kelp, you could easily buy one off the hanger, or take ease in knowing your ordered dress will come perfect !

The Bridal Gallery absolutely provided the “special bridal experience” I was looking for. It is MUCH larger than it looks from the outside and is beautifully and thoughtfully laid out. Though it was just my mom and I, each seating area had ample space for a good crew of people with great lighting and tons of mirrors. AJ was my consultant, and she made it such an easy experience. I had been to one appointment prior and found a gown I was considering (which i ended up buying) and she did a great job of pulling similar enough options that really made me feel confident I had found the right one having considered several other very beautiful options. Lastly she and the alterations specialist helping us, Sheila, (who is also amazing) gave me so much confidence in how clearly they explained delivery times, and whether my dress would come in with enough time for alterations. They looked at rush options and said they would keep an eye out and get in touch if they felt it was needed but didnt think it was necessary at this moment. I really appreciated they weren’t trying to force or push the “upsell” on me if it wasnt absolutey necessary. Lastly Sheila gave me some great advice about how to go about the alterations, and I feel very lucky and grateful to have had the experience I did. Definitely would recommend this shop to any bride considering it!!

I had an amazing experience buying my wedding dress here. I had all my alterations done here and bought all of my accessories here. All in all I spent over $4000 at this store. I picked up my wedding dress and veil just over a week before my wedding. The dress fit amazingly. I didn't think to look at my veil and dropped off my dress and veil at my parents house in Hope as that was where the wedding would take place. My mom ended up noticing that the beading around the edge of my veil had ripped, was losing beads and had been taped together. Since neither her nor I had put the tape on the veil we knew this had to have been done at the bridal gallery. I reached out to the shop and they offered to exchange the veil but since the wedding was in 5 days no one was able to drive to exchange it. They also offered 3 days before the wedding to pay for someone to fix it. This wasn't possible as one of the days was a stat and then it was the day before my wedding. My mother ended up fixing it as best she could. All in all I was extremely disappointed the bridal gallery did not offer any refund or to compensate my mother's time or my stress after spending so much money here. Due to this, I wouldn't show here or recommend shopping here.

I said yes to the dress on Saturday! Melody greeted me at the front and was quick to find several dresses that matched with the style I was looking for. Melody took the time to pin the dress so it was fitted to my body better and also found different veils that matched. I had another appointment elsewhere after and it did not compare to the experience I had at The Bridal Gallery. Melody also made time for me to come back to the store later in the day to try on the dress again before I said yes. I have nothing but positive things to say about the experience and it was made perfect with the help from Melody!

She let me describe the dress I had been envisioning and immediately had a dress in mind, which I ended up purchasing! She listened to everything I had to say and she made the experience so much fun. She was also super patient when we took some extra time to get my mom on a video chat so she could "be there" for me to say YES to the dress. The whole appointment was excellent. The store is beautiful and wonderfully laid out. There is tons of lighting throughout and the lit runway at the end of our experience was the cherry on top. Their timelines were also shorter for alterations than shops I had been to previously so I didn't feel like I was in a time crunch even if I didn't get the dress that day. I really can't say enough good things about this place so I would definitely recommend this to future brides.

I had Stacie Harrison as my consultant and I couldn’t have been happier with my experience at The Bridal Gallery. I’m a fairly indecisive person and didn’t have much of an idea of the style or cut of the dress I wanted PLUS I had a very short deadline to pick out a dress (I.e. I needed to pick one out in the next couple weeks to allow time for alterations). So good luck to whoever was tasked to deal with me! Incredibly, Stacie was super friendly and seemed to take the challenge without breaking stride. She was extremely accommodating and showed a wide variety of dresses that were doable given my short timeframe, so I could see for myself what I tended to gravitate toward. When it came time for alterations, she also took the time to pop over and have a chat, which was lovely. All in all, I was very pleased with the Bridal Gallery and would definitely recommend a visit if for your hunt for The One.

Highly recommend! I had Stacie as my consultant and she went above and beyond my expectations. I had some idea of what I wanted but she made sure we tried out different styles to really narrow it down and find my dream dress, she even made me feel comfortable trying things I wasn’t so sure about (that I ended up loving). The dress I ended up picking was not in store to try on but they had the exact same dress in a sleeveless version, we were able to mock up what the long sleeves would look like which sealed the deal. The Bridal Gallery was my second stop in searching for a wedding dress. I had scouted a few chic places in Gastown, but lots of those places don't cater to anyone over a size 6, which was not a great experience. My appointment was with Deanna and I can't express how welcome, comfortable, and beautiful she made me feel. From the get-go she was down to earth and also excited for me and what will be a new chapter in my life. We walked through what I was looking for, my dress size, and my budget. She clearly said she wouldn't bring me anything over my budget, or anything that would be too small and make me hate my body. Every time she helped me into a dress, she was kind and relaxed, it really was like trying on wedding dresses with friends. I ended up finding a dress that I absolutely love and makes me feel stunning. It's not at all what I thought I wanted, which is funny, but Deanna said that's often the case! At the end of my appointment, she mentioned she was also engaged and we discovered that we're looking at the same wedding planner in Tofino! It was eminently professional that during my appointment the focus was fully on myself, while she is also going through the same excitement and planning. By the time we left, I really did feel like I had made a new friend, even as cliched as that sounds. I can't recommend Deanna highly enough, she was fantastic. I'm excited to receive my dress in a few months and get it altered to fit perfectly! Now I just have to find some shoes.....

I had the best experience with The Bridal Gallery! This was my very first experience shopping for a wedding dress and I did not leave with an ounce of disappointment! I booked a premium consultation and met with Stacie. She was so wonderful and sweet and right off the bat I knew I was in the right hands. She sat me down to talk about what I was looking for in my dream dress, I showed her my pinterest board and she had a very good understanding of the theme and style of dress that I was going for. Stacie walked me through some dress choices, she explained her first pick for me and showed me how the tags read on the dresses so I could understand their prices. She had my MOH and bridesmaid come help pick out dresses for me and was very inclusive with my family and bridal team. While trying on dresses Stacie would ask me questions about my fiance and how we met, she got to know more about me on my own and discovered that I really like vintage styles and music which sparked a few more ideas for dresses. There were so many beautiful dresses and I got a lot of positive reactions and tears, which was great! But what really helped me get through my choices so smoothly was Stacie. She saw when I felt hesitant or when I really lit up and commented on that and followed it with a pros and cons list. Nearing the end of my consultation there was one more dress Stacie pulled for me as she got to know me better and I fell in love with it! I started to get teary eyed ( I still am) and I said yes to the dress!! I really could not have asked for a more memorable and smoother wedding dress experience! I am so grateful to Stacie and all the staff at the bridal gallery (who were all so lovely and really made me feel how special that day was), I cannot wait to go back in for my fitting

Diane was amazing!! Definitely recommend this place for wedding dress shopping! I’d actually recommend doing the premium appointment so you get the full experience (with champagne!) it definitely felt like a SAY YES TO THE DRESS moment and Diane was honestly the BEST! She was pulling dresses for me left and right so all I had to worry about was hanging out with my bridesmaids and mother in law and drinking champagne. Also she was very mindful of budget and pulled dresses that I wouldn’t have thought to try but ended up being THE DRESS! If you get the dress, your premium appointment fee is also taken off the dress price!

The private platforms and bubbly made for a truly intimate experience. We had Ariel as our sales consultant and she was absolutely amazing! AJ was wonderful. She was very attentive and knew exactly what to look for. It’s like she was reading my mind. The store is lovely and have so many dresses. I really like that they carry size 4-6. I visited the Bridal Gallery in June while down at the coast visiting family. As my aunt had been diagnosed with a terminal cancer illness I wanted to include her in my wedding planning as much as possible and booked a time to try on wedding dresses, with the mind set I wasn’t buying one as I had previously ordered one online. My mom, aunt and cousin joined in and the consultant helping us, Diana, was so friendly and made the time enjoyable.
