I found my dress! Katrina was everything I could have hoped for in a consultant. She emailed me a few days before with some questions to get a feel for what I was looking for and when I arrived she had pulled ~8 gowns and they were all worthy of a try-on. She was SO efficient and delightful and I can’t stop saying how great she made the experience. Highly recommend!

I had the best experience shopping at Lisa's! My consultant was Katrina. She emailed me prior to my appointment to ask a few questions about what kind of wedding dress I was looking for. When I arrived, she already had several dresses picked out for me - each one very close to what I had described in my email. Katrina had an excellent understanding of what styles I liked/did not like. She was very patient, friendly and did not make me feel rushed at all. I said yes to the dress !!

My mom and I came to Lisa’s right after a horrible appointment at the Bridal Gallery across the street. We had a lovely experience with my consultant (I’m sorry I can’t remember her name!). She was so attentive and found a way to pin me into everything I wanted to try. Nothing but good things for this place! I didn’t find my dress here but I wished I did because my consultant was AMAZING!!! Thank you for the great experience!

What an absolutely incredible experience. I had been to other shops and was kind of disappointed because it wasn't the experienced that I had envisioned. From the second we walked in it was perfect - we were greeted with warm hand towels, hot coffee/tea, and my stunning consultant, Rita, had already preselected my dresses based on what I told her I liked/what my budget was when booking. You can tell Rita adores her job, she practically danced with the dresses when showing them off to us! She was so helpful and I am so so happy she was a part of such a beautiful experience, one I'll definitely cherish forever. ❤️

My best friend is getting married and we went to find her wedding dress - first of all it was totally what I imagined it would be like from watching say yes to the dress lol bit it was awesome! Our lady was so helpful, extremely knowledgeable and very friendly! My friend fell in lover with one dress but didn't have a size that fit her as a sample and we were sad because we wanted to see it on, well, the manager happened to see this and found one that just came in and hadn't been put out! It was THE dress and the whole process was awesome! I'm engaged and can't wait to look their first myself :)

I just got my wedding dress from Lisa’s, and I am so happy! My sisters got married 10+ years ago, and I remember going shopping with them store after store, until we came to Lisa’s. Both my sisters ended up getting their wedding dresses from Lisa’s. I am happy to say that Lisa’s service is still top notch. Lisa’s has the best selection at reasonable prices, and the friendliest staff. Due to the pandemic I was not to sure of what to expect when looking for my dress. I had made my appointment online and was pleasantly surprised to get an email from my stylist Lorena a couple days before going in, asking me what I was looking for in a dress. I think this is a great idea! I had sent a reply back with pictures of what I was looking for and what my budget was. On the day of the appointment we were brought into a room to view dresses based on my email and were given hot towelettes to sanitize our hands. Lorena picked out some amazing dresses, and gave me great recommendations of different styles that would also look good on me. Let’s just say Lorena did a great job and I fell in Love with the first dress I tried on. Lorena took the stress out of looking for a dress. I cannot wait to pick up my dress ????

She was so friendly and kind, had a number of dresses all lined up for me to see when I arrived, and did her best to get to know the styles I like. The second try-on, she even asked about my daughter by name! I was so pleased with my experience, and would definitely recommend to families and friends. It was very enjoyable and stress-free. Charlotte was amazing. She contacted me a week in advance to see what types of styles I liked and when we walked in she had a selection on display for us to review. It was my first time trying on dresses and as a heavier bride to be I was a bit nervous about the whole process. Charlotte listened to all our feedback, made great recommendations, made me feel me feel completely at ease and ensured that the whole process was a lot of fun. Hi there, I recently had a bridal appointment at Lisa's Bridal with my mum and a couple friends. It was my first day shopping for dresses. My consultant, Katrina, was AMAZING. She was so approachable, listened to what I wanted and styles I was drawn too, and made my experience great. I ended up finding my dress at Lisa's Bridal thanks to Katrina. I did not feel pressured to buy my dress and was encouraged to take photos and come back another day if I was uncertain. I was thrilled to find my wedding gown here. It was gorgeous, fashion forward and I received so many compliments on the style. The team that helped me to pick it out was incredibly patient and really made me feel special. The bustle only worked for about 20 minutes and the rest of the day/evening I ended up having to carry my whole train - having stylists try to twist and tuck it or tie it. This was really frustrating considering I had 2 back-to-back receptions and the evening part was outdoors. Carrying it awkwardly all night made it seem like I didn't bother to get any alterations. What was worse was that the final fit also looked like I skipped getting alterations done. After the first alteration fitting, I was blown away by the phenomenal hourglass shape the new alterations gave me, absolutely in love. However after 'letting out a little at the top', the gown was so ill-fitting, loose and lumpy. The lady who helped me try it on at the end really rushed me and talked us out of thinking it didn't look great. After taking her word for it, I'm looking at my wedding photos in retrospect, feeling like I should have trusted my gut and stuck with my convictions. The top was so unflattering and lumpy and bumpy in every photo. The hourglass shape was entirely gone. When you pay a premium for alterations, you kind of expect to have a gown that hugs all your curves and was made to fit you just right. I'm sad that we had that once at the beginning but that it didn't read that way for my actual wedding.

They pinpointed my ideas and ultimately chose the dress that I fell in love with. As any pandemic bride would know, planning a wedding with uncertainty really takes the excitement out of your big day. Wedding dress shopping was not an experience I looked forward to initially given inability to celebrate and the restrictions that comes with the pandemic. From the initial appointment booking to the day of, the staff at Lisa's Bridal has been nothing short of amazing. Based on the notes on my intake email, my stylist Alice and the owner Nelson already prepared a selection of dresses within my budget. As I tried each one on she asked me questions about what I liked/didn't like and how I felt in the dresses. After a few no's, Nelson appeared with two additional options he pulled from a special collection. One particular dress he pulled was beautiful but wasn't quite what I wanted. Alice could read my face and immediately addressed my concern and told me not to worry about the illusion neckline as this can be altered to a strapless style. I was impressed she knew what I was thinking and from there we were able to have a detailed discussion on what alterations can be made to make this the dress of my dreams. When I had trouble fully picturing the changes, they were kind enough to bring Gabby (the in house seamstress) over to answer our questions. Alice, Nelson and Gabby did an amazing job bringing the excitement back in this experience and working with me to find my dream dress. Visit Lisa's Bridal if you want a 10/10 experience and to say Yes to the Dress!

Amazing Experience! My stylist reached out to me before my appointment to get a good sense of what I was looking for. She showed me an amazing selection of dresses. It was my first day grad dress shopping and my stylist had chosen a beautiful dress that I fell in love with. This made my appointment run smoothly. I can not say enough amazing things about Lisa's bridal! Lorena was my stylist a couple weeks ago and blew me away with her knowledge of everything. She answered all of my questions and was generally very pleasant. She emailed me prior to the appointment and had dresses already pulled. She even took notice of my body type to give me suggestions on what might look best. I ended up buying my dress that day and later they even mailed me swatches of fabric that matched my dress so I could find the perfect veil! The store itself is gorgeous and very well kept and I will suggest them to everyone from now on.

Honestly, I'm at a loss for words on how helpful Julie was at Lisa's Bridal. I never was a girl who grew up dreaming about her wedding dress, so I was at a loss on where to start. Luckily, Julie was there via email to gently guide me to what I liked and what I didn't like, and I was blown away by the options and how beautiful all the dresses were. I was comforted by the fact that Julie wasn't pushy in the least, was discreet with an awkward family situation I had when inviting those to attend dress fitting, and was extraordinarily patient as I came back 4 different times to think about my options. She was just a sweetheart and made putting on and taking off all the different easy as pie. Lisa's Bridal also made me feel safe during COVID-19 - you have to book an appointment, you can only bring in two other guests, and everyone is wearing masks 100% of the time. There's also plenty of space away from the other customers, since the shop is huge. Thank you Julie and Lisa's Bridal for helping me find my dream dress!

I picked up my dress from the alterations department tonight, and I am beyond thrilled with my experience here. I went to Lisa's only two weeks ago, and it was only two weeks until my wedding. The dress I had bought at a different store was destroyed by the in house alterations department, and so I frantically went to Lisa's, searching for a new dress. They calmed my mother and myself down, told us to not be worried, and stressed to us that they would help me find a new dress, and they would alter it perfectly. And you know what? They delivered! The salesperson found the dress of my dreams, and Tina in the alterations department did a FANTASTIC job fitting it. I did have to buy a gown off the rack, and it was a size too small. Despite my fears due to my previous experience, I almost did not buy the dress, but Tina reassured me that she would make it work. My final fitting was tonight, and the dress is an absolute dream. I cannot express how happy I was with the process at Lisa's, and would highly recommend to any bride.

Terrible experience unfortunately - while trying on a veil with a wedding dress I was excited about, another staff member ripped the veil off my head without asking to provide to her client. Very unprofessional, and showed a lack of care for this special moment. The lady helping me also proceeded to compliment all my friends rings, however didn't even make a mention of my engagement ring - what a way to make the bride to be not special. Although I did really like a dress here, I have no intention of buying it due to the terrible experience

Lisa's Bridal And Mena my consultant are very professional! I highly recommend them! After making an appointment for bridal, I received an email asking about my preferences, which was super helpful on the day of the consultation, and saved so much of my precious time. Mena was friendly and helpful and showed me the front and back of the dresses she picked out ahead of time, and the cost. Then I tried them on, and she would grab more from the racks for me to try. The store is big and has MANY wedding dresses to choose from! She provided me with undivided attention, and even went slightly overtime just to make sure I was okay with everything. Got 2 dresses, a veil, and a head piece for AMAZING affordable prices in the end. Definitely check them out!

Was in the area with one of my bridesmaids so we went in to ask if they had time for a walk in. The lovely receptionist said she would take a look for us. Consultant Kristen overheard and jumped in begging out of what appeared to be desperation for the appointment but the receptionist remained composed and asked her to be patient. Kristen continued to state that she had nothing else going on for the day and then the receptionist gave her the go ahead. Kristen then let us know that she was training a new team member and would be joining in on the appointment. I described and showed pictures of dresses to the consultant but she seemed to not be able to grasp what I was looking for. Although all the dresses had lovely elements the majority of them just weren't for me. She was not respectful of my budget and just started pulling dresses without checking the price. I ended up falling in love with a dress she had brought me, only to find out it was almost 4x my budget. Then I noticed all the dresses she pulled were above my budget. Kristen wouldn't let me look around or pull dresses myself but allowed my bridesmaid to pull one after she could tell that we weren't getting anywhere. I I understand it's disappointing when you pull dresses and someone doesn't like them but she was visibly frustrated with me for not liking them and started to have an attitude over it. I believe that it could have been a really great experience but I think the consultant just needs to get back to the basics and focus on what the bride is saying and be respectful of those things. I do, however, appreciate that she allowed me to take a picture of one dress to send to my MOH who lives half way around the world. I would rate the selection but I really didn't get to look around. I would give my consult a 1/5 as she did not listen to anything I was saying or feeling. All around uncomfortable experience. The Consultant in training was lovely, just very quiet. But as she didn't know much about what the salon had in stock, I guess it made it difficult to be vocal.

Last night I visited Lisa's Bridal Salon with my 4 bridesmaids, mother in-law and grandmother. We had Annabelle assist us with the fittings. Annabelle went above and beyond. She helped me get into the dresses, pined everything clipped everything removed other dresses. She also showed me several ways the dresses can be altered and explained all the costs. She went above and beyond, and I truly feel like she was having fun helping us. The service was greater then any toher dress store I have ever been too. If your going dress shopping ask for Annabelle, she is amazing at her job and truly enjoys what she does!

My mom and I decided to go shopping here on a whim after having a horrible bridal experience elsewhere. We were not expecting to get an appointment that day, but thought we would drop in to find out what their bridal dress price points where, and if the dresses would be in budget. The front staff was amazing and said they could take me in right away no problem! The consultant was very respectful of my budget, and after telling her how aweful my last experience was she was very nice to my mom and I. She brought me around the store pulling things she thought could work. While my budget was $900, there was not a TON for me to try on, but she kept bringing dresses out of the back that she said were older stock, or there were going to stop carrying (doesn't make a difference to me!!!). I actually found something that I really really liked. I have not gone back to purchase it yet, I am one of those people who needs to think about things for a bit, I thought i would write this review to let people know that I had a wonderful experience. We were there mid week which is why they could take me (wasnt busy). the consultant was respectful of my budget, and it was a fabulous experience :)

About a month ago we dropped in to Lisa's to search for grad dress for our daughter. Without a doubt this was the best service, with a very experienced sales person. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop and particularly our sales person, Chantel. Chantel is by far the most engaging, enthusiastic and energetic personality you'd hope to meet while shopping for a dress. She is a great listener who made our family experience one of the best shopping experiences in a very long time. By far out doing most other dress shops we attended. If I could give less than 1 star then I would after an absolutely horrible experience with Lisa's Bridal Salon. When my fiancée found her dream dress after a few visits, she was overjoyed and even said it made her feel like a princess. Unfortunately, she was disappointed when it arrived 5 months later to find that it was in the wrong colour. Worse yet, when she pointed out that it wasn't what she ordered, the attendant responded by trying to shift the blame and tell her "well, you signed for it." In fact, after reviewing the contract, she had NOT signed for that colour and the store had ordered the wrong one. Upon realizing their mistake, my fiancée was assured that a rush order would be placed on the proper dress to have it arrive in time to have alterations done before our wedding. However, the following day she was told unapologetically that it would arrive in 5 months. Considering the initial order took 5 months, this hardly seemed like a rush and the flippant attitude we got from those involved was appalling. In the end, we were forced to ask for a refund to which they begrudgingly obliged. With so many things to plan in a wedding, it seems unacceptable to have such a monumental mistake happen, especially one that's so easily avoidable. Worst of all, the attitude and consistent lack of remorse shown by the staff have left us with nothing but disappointment towards Lisa's Bridal Salon.

Pros: Today I went into try on dresses and at first it seems like a great experience they already hand picked a few things for me and let me try on as many dresses as I wanted. They also gave me suggestions on how I could alter the dress to how I envisioned it. The person who helped me was very kind and honestly listened to my wants and needs. She was a great sales person, but please read further on my cons. Cons: I really liked this one dress they carried and it just came in last week. Their policy is that if someone likes the floor model ‘sample’, they will removed the dress from their inventory and nobody will ever be able to buy this dress again and they won’t be able to order it for you. That was a huge turnoff for me and that type of pressure almost made my cry. I was on the brink of tears and it wasn’t because I found my dress but because of not being able to decide right away on the dress. Because my wedding isn’t until summer next year, I didn’t feel comfortable making such a rash decision. Perhaps it’s just me and i do want to go to all the shops to try different dresses, and it’s just Lisa’s policy. So if you’re not a huge fan of that type of pressure, I might come here after you’ve gone to several places first. I’ve only been to 3 so far. Con: taking photos, the sales person said we weren’t allowed to take any photos until we said yes to the dress. This is very difficult for me as I couldn’t bring all my bridesmaids because of COVID. I would have loved a photo. However, I noticed some of the other brides trying on the dresses their moms were taking a million photos of every single dress she tried on. This was so disheartening because I don’t even know what the train of my dress looks like since I couldn’t even take a photo. HOW CAN I MAKE A DECISION WHEN I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT I LOOK LIKE IN PHOTOS OR EVEN LOOK AT THE BACK TO SEE THE TRAIN??? I see all these great reviews and honest I don’t know if im the only one that had this experience, it hurt to feel so much anxiety from try on dresses. I really wish that my experience there wasn’t like that. When I spoke to the sales person on the phone they were so nice and were open to letting me take pictures. When I got there it was so weird, kinda of like an opposite feeling. I don’t know if I’d coming back but they are the only ones in Vancouver that carry that designer.

I picked out my dress in less than 30 mins. Lisa's bridal was the first place I went to to try on my wedding gowns. I won't post my wedding dress as the wedding is not till September 2022 but I will say it's stunning !!! . I would highly recommend Lisa's bridal. Their service is great and wonderful selection of dresses and veils. They gave me a bottle of bubbleie to congratulate me.

I was there yesterday to try on dresses for graduation. There were two other girls there who had arrived just before me and the sales associates paid no attention to me and my mom whatsoever. We had such a great experience. Everyone from reception to payment and everyone in between were fantastic, welcoming, accommodating and so helpful. My consultant, Rita, was so knowledgeable and helpful as well as, most importantly, honest. She was so intuitive that she even picked a gown that had my favourite flower on it which is quite unique and she had no idea that it was my favourite. The dress ended up being the one I purchased. I had a great experience here with Angela! When we arrived she greeted us at the door and already had some dresses preselected for me to try. Although, I didn’t receive an email asking about my preferences like a few other brides mentioned (probably due to a typo in the email they had on file), I did indicate on the form when I initially made the appointment the styles and designers I was interested in. We also had hot towels for our hands upon arrival. During the appointment, she paid close attention to what I liked and didn’t like and changed up the dresses based what I told her. Angela also brought over a few other styles for me to try just so I had an idea of what looked better with my body shape. I didn’t expect myself to say yes to the dress at the first shop I went into, but was so glad I did. The dress I tried on was truly stunning and to top it all off I also received a bottle of sparkling rose! Can’t wait for my dress to arrive :)

So disappointed!! My girlfriend who I'm maid of honour for and I went to Lisa's for her to try on dresses; her mom who lives on vancouver island came over and came with us also. After trying on a bunch we found one that she LOVED. Flash forward 2 weeks and she calls and makes a second appointment to try on that same dress, her future mother-in-law who lives in Gibson arranged to take the ferry down so she could see it too. A week after she made the appointment, literally the Friday before her Saturday appointment her associate calls ME to say that they just sold the dress to another bride. I gave them my friends number but they didn't call her till the morning of her appointment. The dress was not one of a kind and we were told it was supposed to be a sample floor dress, that takes 6 months to order in. But I guess the other brides wedding was sooner than 6 months, but they still knew my friend was coming in the next day just for that dress!! When we explained the situation the associate did not seem to care, told us the dress was still on the premises so she could look at it but can't try it on. I find this totally disrespectful, so we are calling around to make appointments at other bridal stores and will NOT be going back to Lisa's Bridal.

Best experience hands down out of all of the dress shops I went to! It all started from the moment I was trying to book the appointment. I was only available on a Sunday and the person on the phone went ahead and asked the manager if I could book in before they knew if they would be open(as they aren't necessarily open on all Sundays). I was very thankful as Sundays were really the only day I could shop. The email inquiry to get to know your style and what you are looking. size, etc. for was a small by amazing touch. From the moment the appointment started, I felt really taken care of. The style of dresses selected and how they were presented was like none other. I was lucky enough to have Rita (ask for her if you can!). She is superior in her knowledge and care for her clients. She really listened to what I was looking for and knew what styles would make me look and feel my best! She he was honest and didn't try to just sell me any dress, she was determined to find and found "the" dress. Lisa's also has a great selection of styles and sizes for a plus sized woman like myself. Yes, you can get clamped, pined, etc into another size, but to actually be able to try on a proper size and feel what its like is the best experience you can ask for. Needless to say, if I could give more than five stars I would! I'll be recommending Lisa's Bridal to anyone who is looking for their wedding dress and want a top notch service, styles and selection.

Had a pretty horrible experience at Lisa's. I'm a plus size bride and we called ahead when booking our appt to ensure they'd have my size. When we first arrived and met with our consultant, she right off the bat told me they wouldn't have anything for me but then proceeded to pull dresses.. I showed her "the dress to beat" I'd found at EBTG and she said it looked like a Batman cape and completely put it down which I didn't appreciate. She then put me in dresses that were nothing like the style I asked for, and the complete wrong size and kept trying to squeeze them over my body which when you're a bigger girl, it's SUPER disheartening and a blow to your confidence. When I asked to try on a ball gown style which was what I was going for she told me it wouldn't look good on me... Well isn't that my choice ultimately? She also complained about how she wasn't supposed to be working that day and was supposed to be at a dinner and then got called in and they didn't even need her. After two very unsuccessful dresses she gave me the name and number of a tailor across the street and told me to go get my dress made from there because it would fit me better.... All in all a really bad experience that left a sour taste in not only mine but my entire family's mouths and we walked out pretty annoyed and defeated. Not impressed at all and they don't have the greatest selection.

Lisa's Bridal worked miracles for my last minute wedding. I've never shopped for a gown in my entire life, so I really didn't know what to expect! What I did experience was unforgettable and incredibly special. I had the pleasure of working with my amazing stylist, Rita. She was so kind, professional and a lot of fun! My wedding was less than a month away and she was honest and up front about selections. I had to purchase a dress right off the rack and have it altered to fit me later on, which I was perfectly fine with. I was blown away with how fast she grabbed an astonishing variety of dresses for me to choose from based on my tastes. I'm also someone who has a hard time making decisions - Rita came to my rescue. She has this remarkable gift for helping you make an informed decision and effectively narrowing down the selection. It was really hard comparing dresses, especially since they're all so beautiful. When a dress wasn't flattering me, she spoke gently and honestly about it and it helped so much in the decision making process! In addition to her skills as a stylist, she was incredibly kind and welcoming to not only myself, but to my mother and my sisters who came to the viewing. Once we chose the winning dress, all that was left was to alter it. If you have to get your dress altered, ask to see Gabby, the seamstress. At first, I felt like the dress I chose wasn't going to fit my frame very well, but once Gabby stepped in to examine the dress she assured me she knew exactly what to do and cheered me up. She spoke with such quiet confidence and kindness. When I came back for the next visit, it fit like a glove. I couldn't believe what I saw. She masterfully shrunk down this massively sized dress to fit my specific frame. When I asked her "How did you do it?" She responded gleefully: "With magic!!" I have to say, I am inclined to believe that Gabby absolutely wields magic. I can't imagine having an experience like this anywhere else. Lisa's Bridal makes you feel like a bride.

I got my wedding reception dress here, and their service was amazing throughout. They did a great job at alterations as well even though I requested a lot of changes. My fiancé’s groomsmen are getting their shirts rented there, and the whole process was very smooth because of their good service. We are thankful for their service.

The consultant Janine seemed immediately not invested when she heard my budget was 2k. Despite asking for dresses with finished hems (as in not just tool at the bottom), the majority of dresses she pulled were all plain. She made zero effort to even connect with me, ask about the wedding or anything to do with the whole dress situation, let alone talk to me about anything, which made for a very uncomfortable and quite frankly horrible experience.

Our consultant Karen was amazing, I showed her a picture of the style of dress I was interested in and she knew exactly what dress to pull. I am so glad that I came to Lisa's Bridal Salon in Oct of 2016 (on recommendation of another bridal shop), it was the one store where I found THE DRESS. I had visited about half a dozen other stores, and all of the dresses could work but I hadn't been over the moon about any. So much so, that I thought settling was normal. When I arrived for my appointment, I had a pretty specific list of what I thought I wanted. Lorena, picked the dresses that I outlined and then asked if I would try a few she would pick for my body type. I had been wanting a professional to help me, but I had yet to find a store associate that knew the exact fits of the dresses. In the fitting room we started with the dresses I wanted, and I had the same unsure reaction knowing they could work but were nothing outstanding. Then I tried her picks, and they blew me out of the water. At first I wasn't sure I could pull them off as they were entirely different from what I thought. Lorena was so professional and encouraging, she actually told me today would not be the day I would decide, that instead I should go home and sleep on it for a few days as the style was new to me, come back, retry and then I would know. Boy was she right. As soon as I got home that night, I cancelled the other two appointments at stores I had not been to. I knew without a doubt that I would be saying yes to the dress at Lisa's Bridal. When I came back for the second time, I knew the instant I put the dress on that it was the one. I honestly can't imagine my wedding day without this dress. I received endless compliments and I truly felt that I was the most beautiful bride I could be. My entire experience at Lisa's Bridal was fantastic. Along with the dress I ordered the veil, it was simple, classic, and a perfect compliment. I also did my alterations with Lisa's Bridal, the dress fit perfect after the one fitting. I would 100% recommend Lisa's Bridal to anyone.

I had such a good time looking for my prom dress at Lisa’s bridal. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they had a large display of beautiful dresses that could be customized if needed. Additionally, many of the dresses were reasonable priced so you don’t have the break the bank trying to find your dream dress. If that wasn’t good enough, they maintain a registry of your school/event to ensure that no one from you school purchases the same dress in the same color, preventing any embarrassment. The best bridal dress shopping experience ever, AND I found my dress! Mena my consultant was so wonderful, with a very calm demeanour which I really appreciated. I had been to two other bridal stores before Lisa's, one of which where the consultant made me cry from the pressure. Mena made me feel like I was not only listened to, but actually heard. Unlike the other stores, Mena had already pulled ten or so dresses based off of the details I emailed her and presented each one to me. After getting my feedback, she then took me to the change room where I tried the three best on. This makes way more sense than how other stores did it, where they just took me straight to a change room and kept stacking dress after dress on a hook and insisting I try everything on. The only critique I would have is I wish they had a larger selection of plus sized dresses in a wider variety of modern styles. I was looking for something simple, timeless, and most of their selection was heavily laced, beaded and bejewelled.

I bought my wedding dress here 2 years ago with no problems to speak of...For that reason I returned there to purchase my dress for my son's wedding..Unfortunately I had totally different experience .I bought a dress it needed some alterations such as hemmed and some of the beading needed repair for some were loose.I was happy with my first fitting but still needed some bead work done.I picked up the dress and tuxedo which right away I noticed it had the wrong vest and tie.I took the dress home and noticed right away the bead work was still bad and even worse the beads were now falling off.I then looked closer and the was a actual hole in the back of dress in the netting I was extremely upset.I then drove back immediately from chilliwack to rectify the situation.I was appalled that anyone would think this was exceptable for a dress to leave their shop in this condition.They did exchange the dress for me and everything worked out.It was extremely stressful and I feel when you shop in a professional bridal shop and a person is spending large amount a money for such milestone events the service should be at a higher level and their merchandise .Sorry to say I will not be recommending Lisa's Bridal Salon in the future.

I didn't however like my seamstress, as she told me "I was too skinny." I thought it was kind of rude of her,because I already knew that I was skinny. My wedding dress fits perfectly when I went in for my second fitting. The seamstress did a great job even if she did call me skinny. I just hope she isn't as rude to a future bride.

Beautiful dresses, good quality. Can't take photos of the dresses when shopping. Sales lady wouldn't shut up when I was shopping so I ended up running away from her to the other side of the store and picking my dress while 20ft away from the mirror. As a result, I love the shape of it, hated the designs. I also said I wanted a white dress but was convinced to buy ivory. As a result of all this, I hated my wedding dress. It is a beautiful, quality dress, but wasn't what I wanted. Huge, heartbreaking disappointment looking at our wedding photos after the fact. Ultimately its my fault for choosing, but didn't feel my needs were heard in the shopping experience.

Lisa’s Bridal provided the ultimate wedding dress shopping experience. I received an email before the initial consultation getting to know me and the styles of dresses I was looking for. Lorena was my consultant and she was AMAZING! In my email, I probably included pictures of several different styles because I liked so many and couldn’t quite make up my mind. When we arrived, Lorena had already pulled so many dresses in different styles. She went through each of them in detail with us first while someone brought us warm towels for our hands (nice touch) and then took me to try them on. Pretty much everything she picked looked so good, she gave us a really hard time deciding. She was sweet, attentive, and funny. She really gets to know her clients. On my second visit, She remembered how long I’ve been with my fiancé, what venue I was looking at, and other details I’ve mentioned in our visit a couple days before. Lorena is also kickass at pairing veils with each dress and gave great tips on how I could alter the dresses. There was a similar dress in a competing store next door that I loved as well but the service Lorena provided was out of this world so I said yes to the dress!! Thank you, Lorena! Will provide another review once the dress comes in and alterations are done????

Lisa's Bridal was the first and only bridal shop I went to in my search for the one. A few days before my appointment, my consultant, Julie emailed me to get an idea of what I would like for my wedding dress. I sent over a Pinterest board and answered some more specific questions she had answered ready for my appointment. When I got there I was extremely nervous, having never tried on a wedding dress before and not knowing what to expect from the appointment experience. All the staff were extremely friendly and we were offered coffee and water upon arrival. Julie had perfectly encapsulated my Pinterest board in the dresses she had picked out for me to try. She was so knowledgable, friendly and encouraging. She had also picked out some dresses that were a little different from the pictures I had shown her to make sure that I could decide it definitely wasn't what I wanted. She helped me choose things that were right for my figure, and also showed me different colour options for the dresses I liked. She was never pushy about me trying or buying anything and was very patient with me being indecisive and also with me needing to facetime my step Mum who lives overseas. Without her, I think the experience could have been so overwhelming, instead it was a fun and memorable day for me and my bridesmaids, and we all left feeling like we wanted Julie to be our friend haha. I ended up finding the one as well! Highly recommend Lisa's Bridal and especially Julie to anyone looking for their wedding dress, especially if, like me, you have no clue where to start! I'm excited to go back for my alterations!

Lorena was wonderful! She was very attentive. I went to like 10 different stores and Lorena was the only one who had sent me an email before the appointment, asked me what kind of dress I want, size, inspirational pictures and all the details. Therefore when I arrived the store, I did not have to answer the same questions I get at other stores and Lorena had already prepared the dress that I would like. I wanted a very specific type of dress and I usually find a couple of them that would fits in my vision but at Lisa's Bridal, Lorena offered me a bunch of dresses that I really liked! Thanks to her, I found my dream dress here. Since my wedding is four month ahead, they kindly made a rash order. Besides the alteration, they also offer wedding dress cleaning service, ranging from $75-150 while the wedding cleaning service usually starts FROM $150. I highly recomend this place! People are very friendly, nice, professional!

Good selection of styles and prices. The consultant was eager to help pick dresses. Although she was friendly she tried to hard sell me on the dress that I liked, but honestly I was not in love with it. She did give me helpful suggestions on how lace or a different strap could be added. I was warned by a friend that bought her prom dress here that they clip you so tight you can't breathe (it's true). It made you look good in the mirror but my back looked super unflattering with extra flesh hanging out and unrealistic for the wedding day.

From my personal experience , I felt the sales people they are very friendly. But the lady working in the alteration department was terrible. She has bad attitude to Asian people(NOT JOKING). You can feel that.But because I am very happy about the service from Vivian and I got my dream wedding dress, so I recommended Lisa's Bridal to my friend. But the bad thing happened again. She also felt the lady working in the alteration ( always standing behind the counter ) gave her attitude. They did not fix my friend's wedding gown.My frd's wedding is on July 29 and they asked to her to pick up the dress on July 28 4pm. Totally unacceptable! You screwd my best frd's wedding!

I purchased my wedding gown from them, and the whole experience was seamless. Vivian and Nelson are awesome; they made me feel like I was the only bride in the store. They understood my visions (I had two different looks in mind when dress shopping), and were able to quickly match them with product that met each, leaving me with decision of choosing which I loved more. When it came to my alterations, I had a last minute change in my work schedule, which resulted in me not being able to make my final fitting appointment. They were so accommodating with rescheduling, given the short notice and tight time frame we had left to complete the dress in time for my wedding. I greatly appreciate their knowledge and expertise and have highly recommended them to all my girlfriends getting married.

I bought a prom dress for my daughter here and she seen a dress she liked and tried it on, I felt it was too small, the individual helping us convinced my daughter it was the right size for her although I questioned the size multiple times. The clip broke prior to the initial fitting and had mentioned again I felt it was too small but the were adamant it was the right size. Well grad day is here and guess what ...... it broke again, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out when something is too tight and now this dress was a complete waste off $1300. Thanks for ruining such an important day!

I had such an amazing experience at Lisa's Bridal store. Especially after walking over from the Bridal Gallery where the consultant was very rude and basically asked me if my bridesmaids choose my husband for me when I was seeking their opinions. Annabelle went above and beyond for me and helped me choose the perfect wedding dress right off the bat. She has excellent taste and the first dress she picked for me was the one. Although we all knew the first dress was it, she still encouraged me to try on other styles just for fun. I would recommend anyone to this store, especially to Annabelle! I also ended up purchasing all of my bridesmaid dresses there as well.

Zainab was my stylist and she was very knowledgeable in finding my perfect wedding dress. She clearly reviewed the look that I was going for in the notes, she was very patient, supportive and helpful throughout both experiences when I went to pick my wedding dress. Although I had to choose one off the rack because of time constraints, I did not feel like I was getting the shorter end of the stick because Lisa's bridal makes sure your gown is as good as new before you are given the gown. She would always look into any questions that I had and she even worked out a wonderful deal with the manager for myself to help meet my finances during these tough times. There was never even the slightest bit of pressure to buy at any point in time, but rather a conversation about what would be best for myself and what I felt when wearing the different dresses. Thank you Zainab for your friendly and supportive customer service. You made a stressful part of my wedding planning just that much less stressful and fun!! Thank you for the bottle of bubbly! My family enjoyed celebrating my wedding dress find! I will provide another review once alterations are done! I can't wait to work with your alterations team! Ah! I cannot say enough great things about Lisa's Bridal! I went there after thinking I might have found my dress at another Salon but gosh did they ever top that dress! I will say that I had a great experience at the first salon as well but that just didn't end up being the dream dress! We walked into Lisa's a little early for my appointment so one of the staff members, Nelson, brought myself and entourage in early to look around. I am very happy with my time at Lisa's Bridal! To be honest, I was talked out of shopping in New Westminster and chose to try at Lisa's from a last minute recommendation by a friend. Thankfully, she pointed me to the place where I would say yes to the dress after looking online and all over Vancouver in upscale boutiques! My consultant Lorena pulled the perfect gown and listened carefully to my requests. Even better, it was much less than my budget and still fit all of my requirements. The entire experience was incredibly pleasant; Nelson is a first class showroom manager and made me laugh, smile, and feel like I was living a dream come true. No tuxedo ties 2 nights before the wedding! The Bride & Groom along with others spent an entire day calling other stores & going from store to store, trying to find lite coral tuxedo ties, not an easy colour to find! Of course she wanted the ties to match the bridesmaids dresses. The bride was very stressed out & spent a lot of time crying. The day before the wedding, she received a phone call from Bliss Bridal, that they have some time to "custom" make the ties for her. Thank goodness they had some time around the Graduation weekend. The ladies at Bliss bridal knew how exhausted & depressed the bride was & managed to help out. Because Lisa's bridal had no ties, they gave the grooms men 50% off the 'Rental'. But the hassle the Bride & groom had to go through 2 days before the wedding was exhausting. After the wedding, I went in the store with the bride & asked the Manager to cover the cost of the custom made ties. I had the receipt & he refused to pay for them. I told him for all the inconvenience & stress, he should be covering the cost & he can have the ties! He refused, I told him, I'll be writing a bad review of what happened & he chose a bad review over refunding me the money for the ties. His explanation was that he left the bride messages. The bride said she did not receive any phone calls or messages from him. She told the manager to bring up the phone records or she will! The bride truly believes he's lying. Posted: June 29th, 2015

i have no idea why the reviews for this place are so high, i have never had a worse experience at any business in my entire life. i visited this business to buy a grad dress. to start my consultant and i went through dressed and i pointed out which ones i hayed and which ones i liked. while trying on the ones that i liked they were snarky and rude with no knowledge of how to fit the dresses, clipping them in incredibly unflattering ways. during this frustrating process i started crying in front of them while trying on an uncomfortable, poorly pinned dress. i expressed that i didnt like the dress and further cried in the dressing room. my consultant knocked on the door and handed me the same dress in 2 other colours. when i rejected the dresses that made me cry, she then handed me 4 of the dresses i had expressed HATING earlier. when i rejected these dresses for the SECOND time, she then put them in my change room and told me to try them on. very disappointed with the lack of listening and understanding that the staff expressed. would never visit again or recommend anyone else to purchase from this company. it was absolutely horrible and ruined my whole dress experience.

I just bought my wedding dress from Lisa’s Bridal and the experience was amazing! They have a great process where your stylist emails you ahead of time so that they can learn about what you’re looking for. Mena was my stylist and was able to pull some beautiful dresses for me, the first one I tried being the one! I liked that they pulled dresses ahead of time, at other stores I went to I went out to look at dresses on the floor but it became overwhelming very quickly. All the staff were amazing, offering us drinks and having a hot towel to sanitize our hands with. I also never felt pressured to buy something and Mena actually said to not talk myself into liking something. It was also very Covid friendly and we were actually the only ones there for the entire appointment. I cannot recommend Lisa’s Bridal enough!

Really enjoyed my bridal appointment. The staff were nice, offered beverages, and had bright white lights for us to see the details on the dresses. We went through different dress options suggested, but I also got an opportunity to look through everything as well. I was sharing the fitting room with another girl and her party, which was actually a lot of fun. You're allowed 3 people in total to accommodate other shoppers, so I would go in a less busy time if you prefer a more private experience. I went on a Saturday in the afternoon and it was fine. I bought my wedding dress here, and they were so lovely in letting my friend and I take lots of pictures during my second appointment. Thank you!

The whole experience at Lisa’s bridal was phenomenal! I had called for a last minute appointment and was so excited when they could get me in that same day. Katrina, my consultant, emailed me right away with a list of questions so she could narrow down my bridal style in preparation for the appointment, and when I got there we shopped together to find my favourite gowns. My wedding date didn’t allow me to order a new dress, so my only option was buying off the rack, but I was so impressed by the selection of samples! Katrina was so helpful through the entire process, from selecting the dresses, to fitting them on me, to explaining the alteration process. I felt very taken care of and very reassured. Her friendliness and professionalism really left us all feeling like we were in very capable hands. The last dress I tried was the one I fell in love with, and though I initially thought it wasn’t available, Katrina and the manager made it happen! I couldn’t be happier. Lorena connected with me giving me the choice of phone or email a few days ahead of my appointment - she got to know me and got curious about my vision of a dress. This was the first bridal store I went to for my wedding gown purchase and from the moment I entered, I knew I was at the right place. Julie was prepared, knowledgeable, and passionate about her job and had reached out to me the day before inquiring about the styles I like. The sales staff were nice and I had a good experience picking my dress. 2 stars because of the alterations. My dress was sort of twisted/didn't sit flat after it was altered. The seamstress insisted it was fine and I insisted that she fix it several times. She took it back 2 or 3 times but it remained twisted. She smoothed it out while it was on but just like I thought it is twisted and not sitting properly in every single wedding photo.

Right away we were greater warmly by Jenna at the front who got us off to a great start by giving us an explaination of how to find what we were looking for. Soon after we were introduced to Lorena (not sure of spelling sorry) who was just amazing. She really listened to what we were saying as we looked through all the gorgeous dresses and even picked out a dress that had initially not caught my daunghters eye. I'd like to say - the lady who helped me find my wedding dress, i cannot be more thankful - she was great to work with. that is the only reason i have given it a 2 star. if i was able to give a Zero - i would. DO NOT get your dress fitted here.... Firstly, the lady who first measured me - gave me her personnel card to get the final the fitting with her (as she was retiring) - I SHOULD HAVE GONE. but i didn't... i believe in loyalty and i decided to stay with Lisa's. my wedding was august 12th. i went in for my final fitting August 7th. it was a tad tight and i wanted them to take it out a bit... they talked me out of it............. they then packed up my dress, veil and shoes... where do i begin... the night before my wedding, i went to take everything out of the dress bag - the dress, veil - i wanted to steam everything.. NO VEIL - NO SHOES. the store was closed... so i called in the morning (day of my wedding) .... they said they could not help me and that there was nothing left behind... keep in minnnnndddddd - THEY PACKED MY DRESS AND EVERYTHING UP. I've waited this long to see whether or not the shoes or veil would show up.... nothing.... they packed it .. or so they said.... my viel was $400.00 my shoes were $1,500.00 ............ its' not only about the money... its about the stress that i had to endure.. i did not let that affect me though! i had girls coming over early in the morning with shoes... and i got married without a veil....... as for the last fitting where i asked if i could get i taken out but was talked into leaving it the way it was..... my dress ripped right before the church ceremony.................... thank God for my aunt and for my maid of honor! who had a small sowing kit - they sowed me in........ i had a beautiful day! i got married to the love of my life.... but i would never, ever ever go back here.......... and i do not recommend you do either. there are so many stores up and down there that you can avoid what i went through... My consultant was Lorena, and I have nothing but good things to say about her! She spend her time making sure that every detail in the dress was perfect. Lorena emailed me two days before my appointment to introduce herself and get a feel for what my vision was. She was so patient and nothing but a joy to be with! I went to Lisa's Bridal with low expectations of customer service, but went anyways because I know a few brides who have found their dress here. I was not impressed by my salesperson- she didn't understand the type of dress I was looking for and kept bringing me A-line dresses even after I kept telling her I wanted fit and flare. She was unprofessional and would say 'oops' or 'this isn't going to fit' while doing up my dresses. I cut the appointment short because I knew I was not going to have success at this salon.

You think with covid the experience would be different and potentially not as special. That is NOT the case at Lisa's Bridal. They welcomed you with a warm hand towel, and treated you as royalty. Showing you dresses and having your own space with your loved ones to try on dresses. No rush for time in the mirror. Rita was amazing and truely a consultant looking for your dress!!!

I have never written a google review, however I feel like I need to for what I experienced at Lisa's Bridal. I brought my graduation dress from Lisa's Bridal, which needed alterations because it was too small around the waist and as a result, I could not breathe properly. I went in for my alteration appointment and it went fine. Now this is the frustrating part of my experience that I want to voice out. I go in to try my dress after the alteration and still find that it was hard to breathe. When one of the ladies in the alteration room asked me how it was, I replied by telling her that I was not able to breathe well. In response to me, she told me that this was not the case and proceeded to shove her arm down the back of my spine to show me how much leeway there was. For those who do not know or have not noticed, the surface of your spine is indented inwards a bit, especially if you stand straight. I still told her that I felt uncomfortable in my dress due to the fact that I could not breathe, however she proceeded to tell me that it was not the case and almost made it seem like I did not know what I was talking about. She then went on to take my clothes and tell me that it is obviously not going to be as comfortable as my everyday wear. I understood that, as if dresses were that comfortable, I would wear them every single day knowing I get glam and comfort at the same time. However, I told her that I could not breathe still and she still refused to understand where I was coming from. She then told me to show her where and I told her the area surrounding my rib cage. She STILL refused to believe that I was struggling to breathe and proceeded to tell me that it will just stretch out and all it needs is some "wiggling". I eventually gave up dealing with her and just agreed that everything was fine and left. Also, a side note, I skytrained and bused to my alteration, so when I asked if I could come back the next day to pick it up with my father and his vehicle, the lady told me that I can carry it home by transit. Although this is not major for obvious reasons, it just added on to the already unpleasant and frustrating experience. I was going to give three stars, as my experience dress shopping went well and I was able to score a dress at a nice price point, however the whole post-alteration appointment gave me no other choice but to give a one star. To all the ladies out there, VOICE YOUR CONCERNS AND THOUGHTS CLEARLY AT THIS PLACE. I am not saying to not shop at this place, but do not let other peoples' words drift you away from what you want because YOU are the customer. You know your body the most and for other people to assume that they know more than you is unacceptable. Don't land yourself in a position like me, because now, I am praying that I will not pass out on graduation day simply because of the fact that I could not breathe properly.

My wedding dress shopping here was stress free and amazing. Julie was my consultant and she was wonderful! She emailed me a few days before to get information on my vision for a wedding dress. It's something that I really appreciated (no where else does this) and she had several dresses already picked upon arriving. She was patient and kind, especially when I told her my mind had changed for what I wanted for my dress! I never felt pressured in buying a dress, and I felt this from a lot of the other bridal stores. Overall, I'd definitely recommend brides to shop here for their wedding dress.

I would highly recommend Lisa’s Bridal to anyone looking for a wedding dress. The salon itself is spacious and beautiful, offering a large selection of dresses to choose from - and the staff is exceptional. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and professional. Julie was the consultant who helped my daughter find her dress. She was patient and so helpful when it came to suggesting different styles or adaptations to make the dress just right . Julie remembered us each time we came in for a fitting and she was interested and excited in the wedding plans. Gabby was the seamstress who worked with us. She was so calm and capable and her alterations made the dress fit perfectly. We can’t praise her expertise and demeanour too highly! In the future, I would definitely shop at Lisa’s again for a special occasion dress.

Wouldn't reccomend for curvier brides. I went here because I got my grad dress here and had a wonderful experience. My first bridal shopping experience was not so great. There was another bride in the next room trying on beautiful gowns, I asked if I could have them next to try. My consultant said "I really don't want you to fall in love with anything she's trying on because I won't be able to get them on you." I asked if they had any larger sample sizes to try on and she said no. I felt so bad about myself I sought out a store that carries plus size dresses, which I am not. It would make sense to me that the sample sizes should be bigger so they could clip them down on the smaller sized women, instead of saying we have to "just hold it up in front of yourself and visualize it". If you're not a smaller size, save yourself the embarrassment and go somewhere more inclusive.

I've been to a couple of bridal stores prior to the appointment and was underwhelmed by the selection of dresses but I was blown away by the styles at Lisa's Bridal. My stylist Julie was awesome and emailed me a couple of days in advance to get a feel of what I liked and when I arrived, she had a lot of choices already picked out that I could try on. It was a really fun experience and I ended up buying my wedding dress from Lisa's Bridal!

Worst retail experience ever! Sales girl was pleasant and assured us that wrinkles at the front of the wedding dress would disappear after ordering one size larger and then taking it in. NOT TRUE. Problem is that the lace is joined at the waist for the dress to flare out however this created a major wrinkle/crease. When we came back for the first fitting, the seamstress was impatient and made us feel like we were taking up too much of her time and consequently, made us feel uncomfortable. For example, we were taking a few photos of the dress and the seamstress just looked very unhappy. After doing the pinning of the dress, the creases at the front of the dress were still there (even thought the sales girl had assured us this could be fixed). We didn't have any confidence in what the altered dress would look like and then Lisa's Bridal Salon told us that the second fitting would be only one week before the wedding. When we went to pay the final bill, we couldn't believe the alterations charge. They tried to tell us that we had received a pamphlet with the charges laid out in it - NOT TRUE! Due to work schedule conflicts, the dress was ordered over the phone. They did send a contract stating that there would be a charge, but no pamphlet with actual costs. We decided not to get it altered at Lisa's Bridal and brought the dress home and found a professional seamstress at half the price who was able to make the alterations in good time. And we are happy with the result. We would never recommend any bride-to-be going to Lisa's Bridal Salon - their service and attitudes were not acceptable.

I said yes to the dress this past weekend at Lisa's Bridal! I had two appointments with my consultant, Kyra. The first one, which I just brought my mom along for, was so special. It was a very relaxed and beautiful atmosphere and I didn't feel at all rushed through my appointment like at other bridal shops. They also are the only shop in the Lower Mainland that I found ro carry Essence of Australia dresses, which I love! Kyra picked out incredible dresses for me to try on and really stuck to my vision - she knows her stuff! I came back a second time with my bridesmaids and mother (they squeezed us in on short notice thankfully) to decide between 2 dresses I had fallen in love with during my first appointment. Kyra was so sweet and excited to put me back in the dress I really loved and ultimately said YES to! It was a really beautiful moment to share with my mom and friends. I definitely reccomend Lisa's if you're hoping to feel well taken care of and to try on beautiful dresses!

I had a great experience at Lisa's. Julie was warm, patient, and genuine. I had a second appointment in the afternoon but then returned because no dress beat out the one I had tried on at Lisa's. My dress ended up being one that I would never have chosen but it was one she suggested and I love it so much. The woman at the front desk was also very pleasant. Karen made this experience, a once in a lifetime experience. From the moment I met her, I felt like I immediately had a new best friend. I even asked if I could bring her to my other bridal appointments that I had in Vancouver ???? The store has such a beautiful and large selection of dresses but Karen has a gift for knowing which ones looked amazing on me. This was the my first bridal appointment and I went to other stores throughout the city and came back the next day wanting a completely different look and she was so supportive. When we found the “one”, she put the veil on and I walked through the store and the entire store, I kid you not, stopped and stared at me with ooos and awwws and there was a Celine dion song in the background and I started crying and it was the moment that I always laughed at when I would watch movies/tv shows but I loved every minute of it. The entire team at Lisa’s bridal was extremely nice and all the other customers and brides and we’re so supportive it’s an amazing atmosphere. 10/10 - would recommend ????

I really truly had such an amazing experience!! Charlotte was so patient and so personable. She emailed me a few days prior to get to know me and the style I was after. After showing her what I wanted she showed me and I wasn't too happy with the dresses I envisioned myself in (dresses were gorgeous, just not on me). She brought out a dress that I would have never imagined myself in. I put it on and felt so beautiful and I instantly started crying. I bought the dress immediately. Traveling from the island, this was my first stop trying on dresses on the mainland and I'm so glad it was! I was able to bring my four bridesmaids and my mother and no one said a word about being a large group. It was a busy morning (was one of six-ish brides who had the 10am slot) and had a wonderful consultant, Vivian, who gave me her full attention - couldn't have asked for better service. Must have tried on a dozen gowns (was very excited for the Disney collection) and Vivian brought over a few more styles - making sure I wasn't counting anything out. She was super knowledgeable and made me - and the rest of my group - feel so comfortable. I felt a bit nervous because I had booked another appointment an hour and a half after my start time at Lisa's. Vivian totally understood this is what happens and told me to come back later in the afternoon to try my new favourite on again. The space was beautiful, the service was wonderful and all the dresses were top notch. My mom kept remarking later in the day how we should have just cancelled the second place and spent more time with Vivian at Lisa's! I'd definitely recommend making Lisa's a place to go for sure!

This is the place to go especially if it’s your first wedding shopping experience! I had Charlotte and Nelson helping me and they were the kindest and most amazing consultants. They really worked hard to help me find a perfect dress that I felt comfortable with. You will not be disappointed and you will feel very special as you search for a dress for your big day. They often gave me different options of how the dress could be adjusted, if I didn’t like something. Not many bridal stores give you this option. My fiancée and his best man also ended up getting their tuxedos from then as well, and Nelson was incredible! After both of us had bad experiences somewhere else, this place really felt like home and we were treated with so much kindness. They were so flexible and made sure they did everything they could to make our top choices work. If you have not visited them, just go for it. You will not be disappointed!

Super awesome experience - the store felt big and open, not busy/crowded (went on a Monday morning), and Katrina, our stylist was the best! Katrina sent some questions before the appointment about what style/type of dress I was looking for and pulled a bunch to look at before we even arrived. It saved a ton of time and let me see different designs/sparkle/etc. before trying the dresses on. After getting my feedback from the dresses she pre-chose, she picked a couple more and then I was able to try them on! She was super helpful with feedback and actually added the missing accessory to the dress I bought. It really took the dress from "looks good" to "wow! that's the one!". Definitely happy I shopped here and am so happy I got to work with Katrina. (PS the bottle of rose after purchasing the dress was a nice touch too!)

I'm sorry to give Lisa's Bridal a poor review. The customer service I received when I first chose my dress was truly stellar; staff members were incredibly helpful and thought outside of the box, finding a dress in the end that was everything I dreamed of. Only a botched alterations job (that was eventually mostly fixed, but caused so much stress and anxiety the week before the wedding) soured my opinion of this store. If I had to do it again, I would buy my dress there in a heartbeat, but shop around for alterations.

From first appointment to my very last, all staff were patient, down to earth and personal, I truly felt like the most important person in the room, even with many other brides coming and going. Most importantly, Tina, took care of every detail for me when making my dress fit me perfectly. Being alone for my fittings with my family so far away, was hard but Tina took me under her wing and I truly felt like her family. She put in extra hours, was diligent, efficient and professional. I left the salon feeling over flowing with emotion, happy my dress was perfect, and feeling so blessed that I was lucky to have met someone with such a beautiful soul like Tina. Through this process as a bride, you do not realize the amount of people that will play significant roles into making sure your big day is extra special, people that you will likely never encounter again, but they do, they sometimes play the biggest and most important roles and Tina was one of those people. I had a great experience in the beginning the person who helped me was nice until my dress arrived and i had to go for alteration I received a call from the store saying to book an appointment and I did and tht was for evening time which THEY said they had available right when I went to the third floor the lady who was doing the payements Was EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL I standed in line for 10 mins and she didn’t say a word and right when It was my turn she super rudely said I had to wait so she could help someone who was not even in line and was sitting in a couch far away It was my turn to tell them what I want and she was rushing me just to choose something SHE WAS SUPER RUDE SHE TOLD ME I HAD TO HURRY UP BECAUSE THEY R CLOSING SOON AND THAT WAS not my fault they gave me that time to come in when u do shop for ur wedding dress and spend so much money at least u expect the service to be worth it... The second time I went I had Julie and she was able to pick the perfect modification that took the dress from a maybe to a YES! Would highly recommend going here.

I just found my dress at Lisa's Bridal and my experience with Julie Ford was fantastic! This was the only store I had went to that had emailed with questions and actually pulled dresses before I got there. There were so many that I liked. With Lisa's being the last appointment of my day I had narrowed down a few key things that I found I loved, and when describing each feature Julie was able to go and pull exactly what I was thinking of. It worked out to finding the one, with everything I had hoped and within my budget! I also found the other staff members to be super welcoming and it was a nice touch to have warm towels and drinks offered at the beginning. The atmosphere, the service and the wide selection of beautiful dresses at great prices make this a place you should definitely check out.

Can't recommend Lisa's enough! My family has always had great success here, so naturally I had to to look for a wedding gown to try my luck. I've been to Lisa's bridal a week ago looking for a prom dress. It was my first time in a shop like that and Mel was helping during this experience. She was amazing and she brought me a lot of dresses in a very short time and she helped me when I needed it. My appointment was supposed to last a hour and in the end I stayed there 2 hours and they didn't make me a rush, something I really appreciated. In the end I found my perfect dress and all in the shop were telling me I was beautiful. I recommend Lisa's bridal if you are looking for a prom dress because you will find an amazing staff and tons of beautiful dresses of every shapes and colours!

Jan 2020- I knew going in to not have high expectations for their customer service based on the experience when my sister bought her dress a few years back. Understandable that they get numerous walk-ins/inane questions and unsuccessful sales after spending how long with customers etc. but it’s still their chosen profession and along with it comes those interactions. Upon calling a couple times, you get an almost irritated voice until they find out you are a confirmed paying bride and then all of a sudden the clouds clear and a cheery pleasant voice takes its place. I would have preferred to not give a place that I knew had low customer service my business but they had the selection and dress that I wanted. Fast forward 5 months - Went in for my fitting and the seamstress could not have been less interested in the experience. Did not introduce herself, barely saying hello. Thank goodness my friend was there who pointed out the little areas that needed attention (under arm gaps, shaping my backside) as I was just so excited I didn’t know what I should be looking for and the seamstress made no effort to discuss options with me. Their website is also one of the worst out there in comparison to others with allows you to narrow down your search by details in styles instead of just designers, limited views of the dresses and they don’t let you take photos in the store until you are buying - understand they don’t want copy cats but when EVERY other store allows photos AND the staff have average attitudes....

If I could give 10 stars I would. This was the fifth store we went to in search of my wedding dress. We were treated like royalty, served lattes and given hot hand towels. From the moment we walked in, it was an experience unlike anywhere else. My consultant Kristin was beyond amazing. She had reached out before my appointment to find out what I was looking for and had a ton of dresses pre-selected for me when we arrived. She completely understood my vision and chose a huge selection of dresses that hit the mark (and I am super picky) I ended up finding my DREAM dress that was everything I wanted and more. It wasn't even one I would have noticed on the hanger so I'm extremely grateful to Kristin and her keen eye. She was so personable, patient, honest, respected my price point and just an all around wonderful human. I can't say enough amazing things about her. Horrible place to rent from. I rented my tux from leading man which is connected to lisas bridal. First of all, my groomsmen was given the wrong tux the day of the rental. Most my groomsmens tuxedos were either too big or too tight. Another one of my groomsmen had received 2 different shoes and didnt notice till the day of the wedding. Another one of my groomsmen found what look like to be drugs in a small ziploc baggy. The worst part was a rash I got from my tuxedo shirt. After my wedding day I found a large rash from my chest to my stomach. The shirt was probably not cleaned properly. do not rent from these people!

The layout at Lisa's Bridal Salon was so beautiful especially the bridal section. It was so clean, bright and organized. Every staff member was following the proper covid measures to keep my guests and I safe and at the same time provide an enjoyable shopping experience. All the staff working there were super friendly especially my stylist Julie. I showed an online picture of my ideal wedding dress to Julie and she was able to help me find it. My mom, my brother's girlfriend and I were just in love with the dress she helped pick out. Like the indecisive bride I am, I still wanted to shop around and see what other dresses were out there. The stylist understood where I was coming from, respected my decision and was not pressuring me at all to buy the dress (which I really appreciated) and mentioned she will record the dress information in my account if I do decide to come back and purchase the dress. In the end I went back to Lisa's Bridal Salon and said Yes to the dress :) PS: Not only did I said Yes to the dress at Lisa's Bridal Salon. But I also Yes to my graduation prom dress in which I still have today hahaha

This morning I travelled from Vancouver to Lisa's Bridal for my fourth time. This time alone as I did not want to ask my friends for more help. I tried my dress after the second alteration. I was feeling tired and emotional, but excited to finally get the dress done. The seamstress' name I believe was Elena, a quite, detailed and very professional Russian lady that I had seen before. I tried my dress again and instantly felt happy with her work. I immediately rushed to hug her. As per my surprise, she then went inside her atelier and grab a pair of her shoes. They were new and in my sized. They looked so elegant! She decided to gave them to me and I found myself hugging her for a second time! With few shy smiles she made me feel like cinderella for an instant :) Thank-you again Elena for your valuable help, detail and dedication. You made me very very happy today! The ladies at the front desk were extremely welcoming and the woman who was helping me choose a dress (I unfortunately forget her name,) was wonderful and made me feel beautiful. If I was writing this review shortly after I bought the dress, I would 100% give the salon 5 stars, but that changed for me once I went to my appointments for alterations. Upon entering in February, the front desk was again very welcoming and sent me upstairs for what I thought would be just a hem. I headed upstairs to the busy alteration area (not complaining about that because I know it's a busy season for them,) and I was greeted and sent to a change room to try on my dress. Upon trying it on, I realized I had gained some weight and the lady who was attempting to zip it up just seemed to have no emotion if that makes sense. She started suggesting a lace up back but I was convinced I could maybe drop a few inches as I had time, but her and the seamstress just gave off a very doubtful glare to me, who was already feeling emotional enough. We stuck with the hem and booked another appointment in April. I came in again, expecting a lace up back because I hadn't lost any weight and once again, when the seamstress was trying to zip it up, she gave off a surprising "ooo" and made it seem very obvious that the dress didn't fit, once again not super happy to help me. Both alteration visits I left feeling very embarrassed about my body and almost ashamed. But the thing that really got to me is that when these 2 ladies started helping the slimmer girl beside me who's dress fit perfectly, they had instant smiles with a complete change of emotion and started telling her how beautiful she looked. Not once was I reassured by the seamstresses that it would all work out for me. I really wish I could give a higher rating as my first visit to Lisa's was amazing, but what I left feeling like was something no girl should feel, especially before a huge event like grad. I once again thank the kind ladies who helped me in the very beginning and I hope little to no other girls go through what I did.

My stylist was Irene and she was incredible! I was a walk-in and they fit me in on a busy Sunday (today). I only have 3 months to my wedding date, which means I couldn't custom order and a low budget (on the lowest end for most stores). Irene only showed me things in my budget range and even emphasized the ones in the lower end of my range. She was kind, sweet, so patient and really, really helpful! I found the perfect dress within my budget. Throughout the fitting I was humming and hawing over the last two dresses and she didn't push me or rush me. So great! Other associates helped me and even the manager helped me out. I had an amazing experience and I found a great dress without breaking the bank!

Terrible service. Worst customer service I've ever received! Thinking about how mistreated we were gets me so angry! I went there to go bridesmaid dress shopping with my friend who was getting married. The sales lady asked if we were going to make a purchase today, we said not today because we are missing one more bridesmaid but the bride knows what she wants us to wear already. Things took a turn right after, the sales lady told us that she will no longer take care of us, and told us to ask the receptionist for help. The whole store was empty so I don't know why they couldn't give us a little attention. Oh wait, it was because we told them we were not going to make a purchase TODAY. We asked to see samples of other colours of the dress, they said they didn't have any. Guess what:? I looked around and found the colour she said they didn't have. if they had just looked, they would have found it. Then we asked for some colour swatches, the receptionist got it, and dropped the binder of swatches on me and then walked back to her desk and sat there to do nothing! I had to bite my tongue the entire time because I didn't want to ruin the bride's experience, but seeing how bad we were treated, it looks like they did the job for her already. Way to ruin an experience like that.

Went here with high expectations after recommendations from friends but was disappointed. The atmosphere was very quiet and oppressive and all of the salespeople did not look happy or like they wanted to be there. They had pre-pulled dresses for me and did not veer from that style, did not listen to comments I had, and just generally were unhelpful. It could have just been the sales associate I had, but I would recommend doing yourself a favour and going to the Bridal Gallery next store.

What a terrible shop! If I could give zero stars, I would!! The staff are so two-faced and unprofessional. After you have paid and handed over your money, they suddenly treat you as a less important customer or even an annoyance. We spent thousands in this store as we had bought the entire bridal party's dresses here, including some of our guests dresses, (HUGE and COSTLY mistake) and you'd think they'd give you some professionalism. But wow, we were wrong! Firstly, I had to be the one following up on the dresses we ordered - they didn't even call or let us know when they got in! When we got them, they looked horrendous. I couldn't even look at them and just wanted to throw them in the garbage. We even paid $300 extra so they looked absolutely perfect. When we complained about the dresses, we were first talked to by this woman who reeks of smoke and made up absolute BS reasons. She didn't even look into our order first to make an informed argument with us. She then called the manager who said that they will fix the problem but they will charge us! I will never recommend this shop to anyone as I wouldn't want anyone to experience what we went through.

Julie and Nelson (I think that is his name - but one of the managers) are amazing! I went twice, first to try on lots of different dresses and second to revisit my favourite and other similar styles. Nelson booked me in for ample time on my second visit as well, which seems to be uncommon. Most bridal shops only allow 45 or 60 minutes for a second visit, but not here. I bought my dress here in the style I wanted and right within my budget. I was also able to buy it off the rack and take it straight home, erasing worries of shipment deadlines. Am giving it 4 star because of the woman who helped my niece find a dress she was so great and new right away what to pull so thank you to the girl with long black curl hair. aside from the bath room being gross and dirty like even mold where toilet paper goes floor so gross sink just sick and the whole store looking old 1990 they need some inspiration from next door at the Bridal gallery for looks and being clean. it’s the most cheap looking store stuff from 80-90s decor. Just awful. anyways my biggest complaint is hearing one of the workers older with short blond hair swearing and taking down right rude with another Co worker having a conversation laughing using the most vulgar words. Real trash talk and swearing loud my sisters daughter is hearing all of this. I tell you I will never be coming here again because of the people like that working there. Will be posting about this. It’s unnacceptable and makes this store so trashy. UPDATE to your response: it was not staff it was one lady skinny short blonde hair had it up in pont tail. when I mentioned it to some people they said the same thing. Just disgusted that such a person works there and there are kids around. It’s not just the swearing it vulgar words that you call street workers and such. Left a bad taste in my mouth and others. Other staff was great mind you all pleasant.

I never truly realized how much there was to gain in shopping for a dress. My first visit to a dress shop the experience was no where close in comparison to Lisa’s bridal. Not only the feeling the dresses gave me when I wore them but the Welcoming atmosphere that Lisa’s bridal provided. Especially the input and knowledge Chantel gave my party. I had my in store bridal dress shopping experience just before the pandemic occurred and had a great time! It was the second bridal shop I visited, so I somewhat had an idea of what I wanted. Kyra was my consultant and she was so patient and kind as I tried on so many dresses with my bridesmaids in tow. She was so knowledgeable and pulled so many beautiful dresses and never rushed me. When I couldn't decide between 2 dresses, there was no pressure from her. I came back the following week to make my final decision and Kyra was just as patient as ever. The other consultant at the front of the store (I can't recall her name) advised me to order the dress in a certain size based on my measurements. Shortly after, lockdown was in place and I expected delays; however, my dress arrived 4 weeks before I anticipated! When I went back to pick up my dress, Covid-19 safety protocols were in place and I felt safe visiting the store and trying on my dress before taking it home. Based on the aforementioned consultant's advice, the dress fit like a glove and alterations were only needed for the hem, straps, and bustles. I would highly recommend Lisa's Bridal!

My consultant Rita had worked with previous family members when they were brides so when I called to request her as my consultant store manager Nelson shifted things around to make sure she was with me. Rita went out of her way to include my entire entourage in the experience even my 2 young nieces. I felt so comfortable with her immediately and at ease through the process. She spent time with her clips and and other tools so I could really see how each dress would look on the day. It only took a 5 or 6 dresses until we found the one that she intuitively picked out before meeting me! If that doesn’t show her expertise I don’t know what does. She was knowledgeable, passionate, honest, and personable. I wish I had an excuse to visit her more often! Lol. Alterations were perfect, I also added a quick alteration before I left for a ferry and they were able to make it happen. I wish I could remember everyone’s names but they made it a great first experience for me! I would recommend for everyone to go to Lisa’s bridal. In my opinion I was a low paying customer compared to some dresses and I was still treated the same as everyone else through out the whole process. Ugh!!! Don’t waste your time! I booked an appointment to try on dresses, 12:00 September 5th, 2020 and i ended up finding my dress at The Bridal Gallery right next door at my appointment i had set prior to Lisa's. I went to Lisa's Bridal and told them I'm sorry but i found my wedding dress just now but my mother is really wanting to find the “mother of the bride” dress. The made me feel so uncomfortable like i committed a crime that i found my dress prior to the appointment. They refused to help my mom because “this was a bridal appointment and the staff member who was helping you doesn't know the other side of the store (non-wedding gowns section) and charged me $50.00 for “not showing up” This was the store manager also, not sure of his name. Really goes to show you that all they care about is money. They not only lost me as a client but my mom who was right there ready to go find her dress. Do yourself a favor and go to the Bridal Gallery instead, they even covered the $50.00 charge i incurred from Lisa’s Bridal.

I will try to be as fair about this review as possible, providing the reader with my experience at Lisa's Bridal Salon: 1) NO-SHOW FEE: This bridal salon will charge you $50 if you are a no-show or cancel < 24 hrs prior to your appointment. This made me extremely paranoid, leading up to the day. Also, handing over my full credit card information via phone for them to retain (credit card #, expiry date, security number) also made me paranoid. I can understand wanting the customer to commit to the appointment, but this made me uneasy before coming in. 2) CUSTOMER SERVICE: Overall, I felt like the bridal consultant who was helping me was very much invested in selling me the sample that was heavily discounted throughout my visit. I understand it is her job to sell dresses and close on the deal, but it was to the point that her tactics were very "pushy". For the first dress that I tried on, the consultant immediately put on a belt and veil on me without asking. I had not voiced that I loved the dress at that point. To complicate things more, I had felt the bridal consultant did not understand my situation, though I had made it clear in earlier discussions: I was still experimenting with silhouettes and necklines and was open to trying different styles. When I expressed interest in lace dresses, she had picked out four of the same style dress and continued to pick out the same style afterwards even when I stated that I was not a huge fan. While I was trying on other dresses, that first sample dress was being tried on by another bride and then my consultant brought it back to me to get me to wear it again. At this point, the reader may ask why did I not say anything? The reason is partially I am a very non-confrontation person, but mostly because I felt, at that point, very defeated and just wanted to finish my appointment asap. I may be reading in to it the wrong way, but I had felt that she was pushing me to buy the sample dress and had gotten me to try on at least 6 of the same style but more expensive dresses to come to a conclusion that I had to buy the sample dress. 3) SHOP SPACE: I must commend the beautiful space and decor of the shop. It definitely gave off a very luxurious feel to it. Unfortunately, I cannot speak for the selection that they have since I did not try on many different styles. TL;DR: I did not have a great experience shopping at Lisa's based upon the one visit I had, which is mostly due to the customer service that rubbed me the wrong way. Had it been another bridal consultant, I think I would have had a much better experience. Do I believe the other customer reviews giving 4 and 5 stars? Yes I do! Would I visit this bridal store again? Probably not for myself, but yes as support for someone else.

Located in new west bridal lane. Great selection in the store. Many many dresses to choose from. Also they have all the accessories and also men’s. It’s best to make an appointment but if you don’t, they are pretty accommodating. You get 1.5 hours usually. Karen is amazing. Fast and efficient and She says it how it is! Ask for her! The whole place in the quay has a 2 hour parking limit.

What a great experience we had tonight finding my daughter’s Grad dress! Mel our consultant was amazing. She was very helpful and patient with my daughter and we ended up buying the dress she had first recommended. My daughter is thrilled with the dress. Super happy with our experience with Mel and the rest of the staff. Lisa’s Bridal is the place for beautiful dresses and great service.

What a great experience at Lisa's Bridal! My stylist Mena was amazing. She was understanding, listened to what I was looking for and helped me find some great options to try on. She was very helpful and not pushy at all. I said yes to the dress here! We also ended up going to the men's department next door and they were fantastic as well.
