Staff dont know there job, I ordered a white suit they didnt have it so they said they would order it in. I waited a month came back, no suit. The guy who supposedly ordered it was fired, but no one even bother fulfilling his orders. They told my another month for suit but, what I needed it for was in 3 days. Thxs guys.

I purchased a sweet tommy hilfiger suit when there was a sale on. The woman who helped me pick out the suit was fantastic. She gave me her honest opinion and helped me get measured for a perfect fit. I had told her it was my first time buying a suit so she was great at helping me purchase what actually suited me. My co-workers were blown away. One actually thought I got promoted to General Manager which made me laugh. There's also an older gentlemen who works there who is super cool. He helped me buy shoes once and also took measurements once. Wish I would have asked both their names so I could show them appreciation on this review. I see some previous posters claim to have issues with rude staff. To that all I can say is those staff must have been off every time i have shopped there because I have never had a bad experience with staff there. Thanks Moores, and Moores staff....you are my go to place for all my suits and business attire needs. Oh, by the way. They often have a clearance rack. I got some amazing dress shirts from $19.99-$29.99 that normally sell for $69-$109. So don't forget to check this rack when you are there or you may overlook a real gem of a deal.

Eight guys in my sisters wedding (the groom and 7 groomsmen) all got thier suits here, purchased not rented and every single item that could have been messed up was. We had a consultation for our wedding to get suits there and after dealing with it for this wedding there’s not a chance in hell I would go through them. They ordered 3 ties instead of 8 and the groom had to pick new ones a week before the wedding. Multiple shirts were lost and some of the guys are 6’5 and the guys at Moore’s said there was no shirts possible to get in time to fit them before the wedding so we had to pick a similar one from the rental one that was similar size but still not right. The wrong number of suspenders were ordered as well and the groom had to sort out a ton of issues. Would strongly recommend going anywhere else if at all possible. I would give it 0 stars if that was an option. Absolutely horrible.

I would recommend Moores based solely on the employees. Every time I go in everyone is always willing to help and make me feel at home. With that said one employee every time I go in and get his assistance always rises above the rest. That employee is Andrew, he helped me make a custom suit earlier in the year and Andrew knew style and fitting of a suit better than anyone that had tried to help before. Being a larger man (6 2 and over 300 lbs) finding clothing that fits and looks nice is EXTREMELY difficult, Andrew is always willing to take the time to make sure that everything is fitting correctly. With that said Andrew also knows styles and color matching extremely well. To the point where Andrew recommended color I don’t usually wear(pink) due to the fact that it would compliment my skin tone. We came in to find a suit for my husband and the service was superior. Tanya spent a great deal of time and demonstrated so much patience with us. The store policy of offering a discount for wedding parties (including the father of the bride) was very much appreciated. The experience we had at Moore's was far superior to the recent experience we had at one of Windsor's other well known local suit places where we were ignored on 3 separate occasions when attempting to purchase both male and female wedding attire. The prices were also much more fair, without upselling games being played. We ended up buying more than just the suit. The style is equal to any other stores in Windsor. We will be back. I had the best experience ever buying a suit, Yvonne is the best and only lady you should talk to if you need a suit She has an amazing ability to know what works for a person as far as colors and style. I assumed that Yvonne was the manager. I was shocked to find out the not so happy lady was. I think a change should take place, Yvonne is a better choice for management of this store. When I picked up my suit it was perfect . Customer for life

Shopping for wedding suits. Tried on about 5 jackets none fit me well. When I found jacket fit the pants didn't. I felt that not very much was done to try and find me options for a suit that fits. The attendant said that I probably wouldn't fit into any of their suits.

What can I say about Moore's the last time I was in was when I was getting my tux for my wedding the two staff members I was dealing with pretty much told me because I don't wear a suit on a daily basis I that is why I felt uncomfortable and what they were trying to fit me it so long story short I ended up having to get ahold of the manager because these two staff members literally made me feel like that if I'm not rich and wear suits everyday I don't know the difference between comfortable and uncomfortable then what fits and what doesn't fit so the manager took care of me and my wedding party and really did step and make it right now this was a few years ago but from that experienceI have not been back since even though the manager did make it right and was extremely helpful because of the two staff members I originally dealt with, I haven't been back now I can't be sure if they still work there or not and yes I know there aren't too many options for suit rentals and whatnot in the area but I will say that it's decent only because of the manager that made my situation right but I haven't been there in quite a while so maybe it's changed for the better but from my review right now it is kind of biasedso in all honesty I'm not going to say if it's good or bad I really don't know but about four years ago I'm going to say it was bad.

This place is full of many people pretending to work while you wait for the one guy that can do fittings to get away from his computer for 5 seconds to actually help you. Spoiler is he never left his computer and instead we were helped by one of the girls whom apparently couldn't do a fitting when we walked in the first time. It's exasperating being in a room filled with people who could help but won't.

Very unprofessional service. My fiance went in with his groomsmen to pick out shirts. The guy helping them was very rude and continued to comment on the size and weight of my fiancé and his groomsmen. One of the groomsmen wanted a 19 inch neck but the guy told him it would never fit and gave him a 22 inch neck.... the shirt was way too big.... ended up getting the 19 inch neck and it fit perfect. We will never use Moores again. Not happy with the rude sales men that was working today.

Went here to setup suit rentals for my wedding party. They took down all the names of best man, grooms men on a registration paper. My best man went to a store after this day to get fitted and none of the names were in the system, that store told him they couldn't do anything until the original store entered all the information. I called the store I went to and a female sales associate was very helpful (not sure her name) and apologized many times and said she would enter the information into the system right away. This is the jacket I tried on, they ordered a longer length size to achieve proper fit. Rental comes with shirt, tie, pants, jacket, and shoes.

I'm not the type of guy to have dress clothes so shopping for it can be intimidating. I needed new dress pants for a wedding so I went to Moores. The staff were very helpful in finding a proper fitting pants, it was also reasonably priced. The hemming as also very quick. I'm very impressed with my experience.

Great experience until actually needing the suit. On the wedding day, as the groomsmen were getting dressed, my top button fell off. I had to use a safety pin in order to keep the jacket closed throughout the ceremony. Upon return of the suit, I specified what had happened and was not offered anything close to an apology. I was advised that "it's not big deal, we can fix it" as if I had ripped off the button.

This place is not for young professionals. If you are looking for dress clothing and you are under 40 then I'd suggest walking to the Mark's Work Warehouse across the parking lot. When my husband picked up his tux rental at our local Moores they gave him the wrong pocket square, but he didn't realize until the day of the wedding. When I called the Moores in Windsor they got us the right pocket square and delivered it to our hotel within 20 minutes, so he would have the right one before the wedding! The worst store I have visited in my entire life. The manager didn't know a damn thing when it came to doing a rental order for my wedding. Found someone that knew what they were talking about got everything settled. Got the order in and the vest was 4 sizes too small. How does that even happen. Then she said that it's my fault because I was working and couldn't come in to make sure everything worked until the day before the wedding. Then she said I would have to drive to Calgary for her mistake. Completely unprofessional and a joke of a store. Will never ever set foot in this store again.

I got a custom suit here. The sales staff was very friendly. My suit wasn't going to be in on time so the store manager went above and beyond to make sure I had another custom suit in as a rush order. In fact, to say she went above and beyond is an understatement, she drove all the way to Cambridge and back in one day to make sure I had a suit on time. She followed up with me at every stage. Their tailor then did alteration in less than 2 hours! I was amazed at the service and dedication by the general manager Kristin. Thank you so much for everything!

Clearly not all Moore's are equal. I have been shopping at different Moore's locations for 8 years now. I will not make the mistake of coming to this location again. I came in and had to flag down an associate to help me. Told him I was looking for some business casual wear. I was in the market for a few pairs of shoes, several shirts, pants, and a couple sports coats. After he silently handed me shoes to try on, he proceeded to see somebody he knew, started measuring them and left me there. I promptly grabbed the shoes I had chosen already and got up to pay and leave. There were three other associates just standing together not helping anyone and one of them finalized the purchase for me. So I don't see an excuse for the service to be as horrid as I received. If you want a better location, make the trek to the downtown location on Granville or their location in coquitlam. It's well worth the extra mileage for the much superior service.

When I showed up to get them on the pick up date (1 day before my event) they informed me that they never started on them since there was a hole in them... I got no call, no email, no text nothing.. and I had no pants to wear for my event. The seamstress was off in 20 minutes and she wouldn't stay to do them for me. SO disappointing.

I used Moores for the suit rentals for my wedding. the suits themselves were fine enough quality but the service was of poor quality along with the companies polices for this provinces as I will explain further down and this store is unorganized. When me any my groomsmen were fitted I got a hint of inexperience, as the person sizing us was unsure of a lot of things and didn't know how the computer systems worked. I figured he could have been new. That was fair enough as long as everything was done right I didn't care, after all everyone was new at a job at some point. As time went on though my grooms men were having a really hard time as every time they went into the store for fittings (some of us went at different times or different locations) they were never able to find my account for the wedding and this would always result in me having to make multiple calls trying to clear up their mistake. Turns out they ended up making 2 accounts for me and they kept mixing them up. The time finally came when the suits should have been in. I called the store and they informed me the suits were not in and the company policy said they didn't have to have the suits till the Thursday. This was different from when I was fitted as they said they would be in a week or so before the event. They informed me that if there was any issues they could over night a suit and have it in on Friday before shippers shutdown for the weekend. I asked if this was guaranteed as everyone in Newfoundland knows that shipping can be delayed here. The sales associate told me the shipper in the past had shorted them deliveries. At this point I wasn't confident in them being able to deliver what I needed but I didn't have any options. They took my phone number at said they would call and email as soon as the suits came in. On Thursday the suits did arrive but I was never informed via phone or email. It was only when I called that I was notified. When my Groomsmen and I arrived my Best mans suit jacket didn't fit. They put an order in to have one shipped over night. God love my Best man as he made changes to his Friday plans and hounded them to try and get this mess sorted. Sadly this amounted to nothing as the next day no suit coat arrived and the only thing they could do is take the jacket that was too big and take in the button. Moral of this story is if you are planning a wedding do not rent your suits from Moores. Its way to much worry and head ache that is way to close to your biggest day! The sales associates are friendly enough but they are unorganized and incompetent.

Misty, who I assume is the manager and if she isn't then for God's sake give her a promotion, personally helped us every step of the way, and we cannot say enough good things about her. Misty chose the perfect fabric on the first guess, understood our vision perfectly, and made the fittings smooth and enjoyable. She has a great sense of humour and sense of romance and excitement about the occasion; she really 'got' my husband's unique personality and he ended up with the perfect suit. There was a mixup at another Moores store in Toronto when our groomsmen tried to buy their attire, and Misty got on the phone and fixed it like it was nothing. Highly, highly recommend. This is a great way to get a custom suit you will love, for a great price. Ask for Misty!

Worst experience of my life. 1. They put the wrong wedding date in the file. Luckily, one of the groomsmen caught it during his first fitting 2. During groom's 2nd fitting, despite having an appointment we were left waiting in the store and ignored for an hour. Other groomsmen waited 2 hours for service at their fittings. 3. During fitting one of their staff insulted a groomsman's figure. 4. When we returned for 2nd fitting we found out they had the completely wrong colours for the vests and ties on file from what we had originally picked. We had to reselect the correct options. 5. When suits came in 2 days before wedding, sizes were all wrong. Grooms pants were two sizes too big, other groomsmen's pants and vests were too small. Only 1 of the 7 guys had the right size. Several items had to be reordered less than 48 hours before wedding. 6. Icing on the cake was that one groomsman was given wrong colour vest which we didnt realize untill morning of wedding when it was too late. This was despite already fixing this very error weeks prior. I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Don't rent your suits from them. Go anywhere else. They discriminate against larger children, and they've changed our order twice without our conscent. We were in their Park and Tilford location on January 12, 2019 to book suits for our wedding party. We reserved four kids suits and decided to buy my fiance's suit from them. We went in and booked the kids suit rental package. We told them we wanted the black pants, white shirt, jacket, vest, bowtie, shoes, and socks. On January 19, 2019 we returned to change our vest and bowtie from platinum to Malibu blue. That's when we discovered that the sales person chose to omit our vests and bowties. The manager had to add them. They tried to charge us extra, but the sales girl from our first visit had already told us that the vest and bowtie were included in our rental price. I had to fight the manager to make them honor their original promise. When my fiance returned today to confirm the sizes for the suit rentals, we discovered that they had removed the shoes. We gave the sales girl the boys shoe sizes and she wrote them down; however, today they tried to tell us we asked for the shoes to be removed, which we did not. Now they've had to fix the order twice. Then, after we had already been told it was part of their kids rental package, they charged us to rent the shoes. To make our experience worse, one of my kids is husky. He doesn't fit the size they were originally trying to rent us. Instead, they informed us that they don't rent to husky kids. The only option they offer for husky sizes is to sell. If they have the merchandise to sell, why on earth won't they rent for larger kids? This screams discrimination. They have no issue renting to smaller kids, but have no interest in having the larger kids as their customers. Since I don't have faith in their ability to honor our order anymore, I decided to call them this evening and go over the order. I insisted on confirming that the entire order was in fact documented properly this time. When I called her on it, she was full of blame for the sales girl, but wouldn't take any responsibility for the fact that she was supposed to have fixed the order herself the last time, and it was still incorrect. I made her promise me that if we arrive at the store next month to pick up our order and anything is missing, that she will personally overnight courier (at their charge) the missing items to our home. We'll see how that goes. Honestly, if we had time, I would cancel my order with them. They're completely incompetent. They've messed up our order twice and haven't really taken responsibility for it.

I have to say this rating would be a 1 star review if it wasn't for the store manager Charles. I initially always planned on getting a tux from a Moore's Mens clothing store. They already had my business before I walked in the door. Years of commercials, radio ads and friends who have gotten married before myself and told me about their experiences. On my wedding day, it was going to be in a Moore's tux. I never thought the day I finally get to have them fit 'myself' for a tux would be such a terrible experience; I will quickly add that this negative experience was solely due to a Moore's rep and not the integrity of the company as a whole. Long story short, made an appointment, they didn't even pencil me in and when they explained, "we normally don't do walk in's" I explained we already had an appointment (he played it off like he just forgot). Anyway start to finish was terrible, didn't measure me, couldn't give me prices and asked I call the manager to confirm prices the following day BUT took a deposit anyway. Needless to say, I looked around the city and received better service else where where myself and 4 groomsmen gave our business and deposit. We went back to Moore's to refund my deposit- the Manager Charles was very disappointed about my experience. Offered to make things right, match prices, discount, ect However I kept my original choice but made me feel like this experience was a one off instance and as a company this isn't acceptable treatment in their opinion either. In the end, I still will refer friends and family there. I'm still a customer and will continue to purchase pants, shirts and ties here- they have an amazing selection! Thank you again Charles for making me a customer again and I look forward to doing business with you and the company.

DO NOT RENT SUITS FROM MOORES! I would seriously give this zero stars if I could. We ordered suits from Moores for our wedding which finally occured this past weekend. COVID caused several changes in our wedding and Moores was not understanding or cooperative. Firstly, we didn't want our groomsmen to pay for our suits. We asked Moores to charge us and this seemed extremely difficult for them to understand. There was only 3 suit rentals so it's not like it was a massive order they had to manage. They ended up charging both of our groomsmen which we then had to get refunded to various different cards (which proved extremely challenging) because of the second problem we had with Moores Second problem! We originally were getting married June 2020, but had to reschedule twice due to lock downs with COVID. The first time we rescheduled to August 2020, Moores was able to make the required changes. However, the province went into full lock down after that and we reschedule to August 2021. We called Moores multiple times and left messages but never heard back. We even sent mutliple emails to try and get in touch with them regarding rescheduling our wedding to August 2021. We hadn't heard anything from them until the week before our second wedding date where the informed us that our suits were in. We explained the situation and they stated they wanted to charge us as the suits had arrive regardless of whether we were picking them up. We fought this and ended up only losing a deposit. We had to repay our deposit. Not the end of the world, but better than having to pay the full $600 rental. Third problem! Sizing! Before we get into the major problem of sixing, they did not send the ties that we ordered (I have pictures of what we ordered and they do not match) and provided us with tacky clip on ties which should never be used in formal wear. Regarding sizing, we had of our groomsmen and my groom go in get re-measured in June of 2021 because we knew sizes would have changed in a year. NONE OF THE MEASUREMENTS GOT PUT IN! Not a single correction to the suits were made so all of the suits came in wrong. We went to pick up our suits the sunday before the wedding and none of them fit 100% correctly. Our groomsmen were manageable, but my groom's suit was absolutely massive! It looked like he was a 12 year old wearing his dad's suit. Totally not manageable and looked absolutely awful. They tried to blame us saying we should have got remeasured about a month before the wedding (which we did do and had proof to show that we did). They remeasured and resent in his suit. Come Wednesday, the second attempt was in. It was still too big, but at this point, we didn't have time to re-order another suit so we brought the suit home in hopes to salvage something of it. Moores did compensate us with a free suit rental, but it was for a suit that was still unuseable. My husband ended up wearing a suit that he had in his closet that didn't match the groomsmen, because we had no other option. He ended up using the suspenders, socks, and dress shirt from the rental, but nothing else actually fit him to be useable for the wedding. So we has a miss-matched bridal party. It's one thing if it is just a suit rental; It's another thing when it is a Groom's suit rental. What if we were having a destination wedding or eloping? We wouldn't have had a suit. It was a lot of undue stress because Moores was unaccessible, uncooperative, and frankly unprofessional (Don't blame customers! It doesn't look good). We have bought a lot of products from Moores because of the industry my Husband works in, but we will not go back after this whole ordeal. The absolute worst experience I've had (and we had to move a lot of vendors with our COVID reschedules).

The suit itself looked great and clean. The staff were nice and accomadating. The issues are the price of renting a tux. I used to pay around $120-150 and this time it was $270. I was quite surprised at how costly it was to rent a three piece suit with shoes. They also messed up on the ties. They ordered all the groomsmen bow ties instead of neckties. So two days before the wedding we had to rush in the right ones. Quite stressful for the bride and groom for sure.

I went in to get fitted for a suit for a wedding. The staff were rude and more interested in helping an older gentleman who came in after me. (I'm very baby faced.) I was passed from person to person. Went through 3 different people in the 20 minute ordeal. One person would start pinning the suit, then would want to go help someone else, so call a different person over... Finally fitted and paid for the suit. Was told to come back to pick it up on a Tuesday. When I did, it was not ready. Had to come back a second time for it. For a $300 dollar suit made in Bangladesh, I'll most certainly be taking my business elsewhere in future.

Wow.! I decided to go into the store and such bad results with the lady salesclerk. How can they hire such a rude person like her. No wonder customers want to shop online than to deal with a rude person like her. Very disrespectful towards a customer. I sure would give her a pink slip. I use to be in the retail field and you never act like this towards another person. Only one other customer in the store and he was been looked after by a nice male clerk. I will never shop at this place ever. They should always be nice to customers and boy did that lady clerk have a mouth on her been so nasty. Looks like so many reviews are right.

I'm a regular client in this store, on June 2nd I bought a suit and guess what? This unprofessional service provider Evonne didn't charge me the pants only to realize after going through my receipt while at home. I came back a week later to make the payments through Charles. When I visited the store today (June 11) Evonne was so rude and disrespectful to me. She even went ahead accusing me of "smelling". She raised her voice to me! She is immoral with no integrity! She needs to be trained on work ethics! She is a racist! She has zero multicultural awareness skills. I won't recommend anyone to her. She was so rude to me. Why keep this one rude, inexperienced staff in this beautiful store to bring down your business? If she never charged me my pants, how much loss has she brought to this store? How many customers has walked out that door with unpaid clothes? Thanks to the manager who listened to me. She is professional. Thumbs up to Charles, Zack and other brilliant staffs.

Went in for some Dockers and the young guy, while perfectly friendly, hovered. I was literally the only customer in the store and he followed me around just standing 5 ft away from me the entire time, staring at me. It was incredibly uncomfortable. I didn’t end up buying anything because I felt like I just needed to get out of there. I told him I would look around and let him know if I needed help but he just continued to stare and follow. No space given whatsoever

Jacob did a great job finding me some suits. He was professional, helpful, and went out of his way to provide great service. I had never purchased a suit before and i ended up buying multiple. He also knew i needed one right away and he rushed to get the hemming done and made sure i had a suit to wear when i needed it! Great bunch of people up there.

Their grad rep program is a great way to get a free tuxedo rental or suit, but there is only one person who knows how to set that up and they only work 3-4 days a week for short times and is impossible to get a hold of. Had to go there 10 times in kne weekend to try and pickup my tuxedo but the manager forgot to enter the final info over the weekend and now I'm gonna be picking it up hours before I have pictures. Worst place to work with.

Well where do i start. The old lady with white hair who i had to deal with was very forward and rude. She also could never find my Order. Told me what i could and could not where. Told me i could not store my suit there (even before it was all finsihed) after another employee who sold it to us said we could keep it there until the wedding. I had to pick up my suit in pieces, two different times, and then pay extra for a shirt that was suppose to be included. As far as a choice for a wedding party. i would stay clear...... Weddings have enough problems you dont need this place adding the stress it added to ours.

For rental, they size you and you end up with wrong everything, shirts, pants, coast and they say we have to be genetic, slim fit was more like 80s wide pants. That's aside from the attitude of the employees, just a failure. So definitely a bad idea and waste of money if you are planning to use them for wedding grooms rentals.

I just bought a suit coat 2 pant 2 shirts tie and handkerchief. Was the most incredible experience. I was assisted by a extremely knowledgeable young lady Danielle . I’m not a person who wears suits . So I said I need your help desperately ! I have know idea where to start. She asked the colour I liked for a coat after 6 found it then 2 pants 2 shirts and fixings. I was in there at least an hour and that incredible attitude never left her face or the smile . So incredible to work with such an amazing person and come out with a smile and an amazing suit for my daughters wedding. I would recommend her to anyone. Absolutely fabulous job. She represents everything costumer service should be. She went out of her way to show us how to match a tie which was so helpful because I really had no idea how to do that. A friend of mine whose wedding is in two months just called me crying after leaving this store. She order several items approximately 8 months ago and got a call today that they wouldn't have what she needs for 2 months from now and would have to change her colour and pick everything again. When she told them this was unacceptable the sales associate told her that if this was the worst problem she currently has before the wedding than it's not that bad. After this horrifying visit we tried getting in touch with customer service to complain and report the employee and were passed around several times before being told no one would speak with her. Terrible customer service and herself nor anyone from the bridesmaids party will shop with Moore's again.
