This place clearly doesn't know what good customer service is. I am completely disgusted by the treatment of one of your employees towards a friend of mine who came excitedly to start looking at dresses for the first time. How DARE you immediately put down someones wants or needs by telling them that they need to lose weight before they could even dream of wearing a certain style. How dare you put down a beautiful person like her?! I don't care about YOUR opinion. If I'm there to look at a dress, I am absolutely not there for you. I am there to find something that I feel good in. Something that my husband will love. Your opinion is completely irrelevant. This company even went as far as to post a personal message onto their wall for everyone to see. In this message my friend had mentioned personal things, which she had trusted would be heard by the company. However, instead they decided to screen shot the message and post this onto every bad review on their website which exposed extremely personal information. I just can't believe that this place is open for business with staff like this..

Did not find my dress here but was able to try on a little bit of everything which was a perfect way to figure out what I wanted. Very helpful workers who went searching the racks for me to find specific things I wanted to try on. So many options, would definitely recommend as a starting place for dress shopping :)

Saying Irena helped me find my dream dress is a huge understatement! After finally choosing a dress from the wonderfully variable selection, Irena brought the vision in my head to reality! Staff were helpful and casual. Allowed us to go through the racks in her size and pick dresses to try on. The casual atmosphere and the fact we were the only ones booked in put my anxious teen at ease. Found the perfect dress at a very reasonable price!

I would highly recommend Dream Dress for Less to everybody who wants to get a brand new designers dress for the fraction of the price. The staff is so professional, knowledgeable and helpful ! They found a beautiful wedding dress for me, 4 bridesmaids dresses and a little princess dress for my daughter. Thank you, girls !

Kind of overpriced for alterations.. Eent for my fitting and there was an issue with leftover fabric from where the cups were moved from - I assume with moving the cups you'd smooth the material where they used to be instead of leaving empty POCKETS on my chest? but I guess not.... Wanted an extra $40 on top of the $100 I paid to have the work done. Overpriced for the quality of alterations too.. They weren't done very well.

LOVE these ladies! They take a quick measurement and bring you the beautiful dresses to try on. Found the perfect dresses for our wedding party in less than an hour, and well within our budget. Very impressed, highly recommend for anyone looking for the prefect gown.

I had a fantastic experience in Dream Dress for Less. The staff was professional, pleasant, courteous and very patient throughout my whole dress shopping appointment. They were able to find me a dress within my price range. They do have a huge selection of dresses in every price range. I was able to get an amazing dress for just 200 dollars. The staff was professional, pleasant, courteous and very patient. Also, I'm a plus size girl. I was treated with respect, not like in the other bridal shop, where they didn't let me to try on anything. Amazingly, I looked 3 sizes smaller in my new dress !!!

I had a great experience wedding dress shopping here a few months back. I tried on a bunch of dresses and the sales lady was so helpful and patient with zipping me in and out of so many dresses until I found my dream dress. The dresses here were also a lot more affordable than the 2nd hand store in Lantzville.

Many different styles in all sizes with many selections to choose from 60% to 80% discounts!! Cheap alterations Aswell!! I found a beautiful dress for my wedding in September 2018 for $630! They let me do payments and doing my alterations for $60!! Also have bridesmaids and flower girl dresses, hair accessories and vails! My experience SO far. Is a 4/5

This dress store is amazing! I went in to find my grad dress, and found my dream dress within half an hour. The staff was so helpful and polite, carefully explaining to my boyfriend how to properly cinch my dress when the day comes and just made my experience the best. The dress needed a few alterations, and when I came back after they were done, everything was perfect to my size and the quality was phenomenal. The one lady that helped me just went above and beyond, and I know I will be back again for more amazing dresses and service. Thank you so much ladies!

All I wanted to do was simply browse dresses for my wedding to get an idea of styles. Originally upon going the store was closed, we asked what time it opened and were given a short response and then when my friend asked the time since she had JUST glanced at her watch the woman simply ignored her and walked away. When we returned even though she had just talked to us and not mentioned it at all, she informed us we couldn't even look down the aisles without an appointment which is terrible, like do you not even want to make money? What's the point of even owning a store? I would suggest just opening an online store because your personality is so terrible, but after looking at your responses to online reviews clearly you're too confrontational for even that. Thanks for wrecking my first ever outing to try on dresses, way to de motivate a newly engaged woman also ready to give you money.

Was in with my daughter today just to look and was told she could try dresses on if she wanted. There was no hassel, no pressure and so many beautiful dresses to choose from. She found the wedding dress she had been wanting and at a far cheaper price than we had seen elsewhere. She bought it on the spot! Thanks so much for the great shopping experience. Our daughter from Calgary arrived with her son's winter jacket zipper in disrepair. We were desperate and anxious to have it fixed. Irina graciously completed the repair in one day, despite her already full schedule. The repair was outstanding--one would never know that it wasn't the original! Superb workmanship! So thankful!

The dress Irinia picked out for me was the wedding dress I chose. I tried one on I picked out then the one she picked for me to try on. I chose her pick. I did not have to try on any more. Very disappointed. My sister and I needed a royal blue dress for a special occasion this weekend. But the lady at the shop was very rude to us. We walked in and she asked if we have an appointment, we said no, we only need to buy 2 dress. She said to us if we do not have an appointment we not allow to buy. What the ???? We asked why? She say they only sell buy appointment and we not even allow to have a quick look. We asked ok, can we make an appointment, she then said, no she too busy doing alterations. Very rude and unprofessional. why don't they just close the door and put sign up saying no walk-ins. I'm from Toronto and it's my first time in Nanaimo to visit my sister and was invited to a cocktail party last minute.

Stopped by to ask to book an appointment they were able to help right there and then! I understand this is not the norm, I really appreciate it! My mum and I had a fun time looking at dresses. Irina's suggestions were very helpful and I got my wedding dress. She will be able to alter and add the flower embellishments like how I want! So excited to go back and get alterations done! Terrible selection vintage would have been nice these dresses were straight up old and retro. The most modern dress in the store was obviously in the window. And I would like to point out that having 10 of the same dress is not the same as having a wide variety. The lady was nice for about two minutes and then just ran away into the back of the store. I couldn't ask anymore questions. And the photos on your website don't match your actual store. That's pretty rude, I went there not expecting less than what was advertised and was horribly dissapointed. Awful lighting terrible mirrors. It stressed me out soo much I cancelled my appointment. Good luck with your drab dated store and matching staff

Scammed our friend by taking her $1000 and refusing to offer curbside pick up so she could wear her dress to her wedding during the pandemic. They refused to work with her by mailing, couriering or letting her pick up curbside. Heartless and scammy !

I was very impressed with the quality of service. All sales representatives were very professional , polite and not pushy at all. They were listening to my every request and found the dress which was very close to what I was looking for. They done some alterations and I've got my perfect dress in three days! After very poor treatment in other stores I have found the store where I would come again if I need another dress or alterations.
