J’allais souvent a cette succursale et je contribue souvent à Renaissance en donnant mes vêtements usagés mais après m’être fait traiter de voleuse suite a un mal entendu je n’y retournerai pas et soyez assurer que je porterai plainte. Je venais de dépenser plus de 70$ dans ce magasin et j’allais sortir par erreur avec un manteau qui n’était pas payé car une employée a vidé mon panier à la caisse et ce manteau s’est retrouver sous mon manteau. J’ai dû subir l’humiliation de la gérante qui avait un pouvoir trip ce jour là et qui n’écoutait pas mes explications. Madame qui avait le manteau en main, a pourtant décidé de faire déplacer INUTILEMENT deux véhicules de police . Savez vous combien coûte un policier? Savez-vous combien cette employée sans jugement a coûté à l’Etat ce jour la? Pour la discrimination, je ne sais pas si les cheveux rose ont laissé croire a madame que j’étais une voleuse mais quoi qu’il en soit, je ne retournerai plus a ce endroit si cette femme y travaille encore. C’est aberrant de traiter des gens de la sorte!

This place is surprisingly big. If you like clothes the deals are not bad. If you like electronics... Their section is okay. If you like video games... watch out. They charge almost 10$ for CD based games and don't check if they are legit. I saw about a dozen PlayStation games on display, that were all burnt copies with printed covers... and being sold as regular games. This was the case with a few Xbox games as well. The consoles are family priced about 30$ or so. Tons of jewelry and a lot of toys for the kids.

I rarely come to thrift stores anymore and on the rare occasions I do, I mostly leave empty handed. Renaissance and goodwill used to be fantastic places for people on the hunt for video games, music and movies, but nowadays its only the most common stuff that nobody wants. I dont know if its because some of them are selling their stuff online or if the staff buy some of the stuff, but every time i go to one of those , there just isnt anything to be had. Maybe im just unlucky? Well, fact is everytime i come to one of those i feel less and less motivated to return. On the upside, they have TONS of clothing. So , if thats your thing, maybe this is a nice place. Also , the place was really clean for late at night and the staff extremely friendly.

*Review update 2021* A 2009 Apple iMac with no keyboard, mouse and power cable for 350$? That's is not even worth 100$ in real life... Ahhh and there was this lady that was looking at what I think was a cooking pot which anyone can tell it was dirty at first sight… she came to one of the staff that was placing merchandise and ask her if someone could revise the price on the cooking pot since it was so dirty and didn’t think the price was justifiable as she will required to buy cleaning solution to remove the grease stains…. The staff was which appear to me a South Asian lady with long black hair in pony tails and told the lady that she doesn’t decide the price and that she can not help her with that… So while I was there I found something and went ahead to wait in line to purchased my item and so I was waiting there and saw the lady that had the cooking pot in front of me and she went to where buyers go for returns and service and was talking to a guy and explained to him about the same thing she spoke to the lady before and I heard him said that he can not do that but he will call some one that can help her with and guess who was coming to help her? You guess it right! It was the same lady she spoke to… the one that couldn’t help her at the beginning…. I was disgusted by that lady behaviour. To think that people who donates things to this organization and have staff that are uncaring working for Friperie Renaissance acting in that manner.

Et là, la manager a commencé à exprimer son mécontentement sur le fait que j'ai désorganisé la section des pantalons et que je n'aurais pas le temps de passer aux caisses parce qu'il reste 2 minutes à la fermeture. J'étais saisie, plus que de le faire dans un ton frustré, j'haïs quand on m'accuse de quelque chose que je n'ai pas faite. Je voulais parlé au manager, car je croyais qu'elle était un commis. J'étais choquée d'apprendre qu'elle est la manager. C'est honteux d'avoir ce type de service à la clientèle en tant que manager.
