Today I went to this store to shop and unfortunately there was a little manager girl who was very rude. The price of a pair of pants in the company's own app was 12$ but it was sold to us for 21$ and no matter how much I talked to this girl, she answered me aggressively and rudely. One of the worst H&M stores: 1) Disorganized clothes everywhere. Any garment is racked anywhere regardless of it's fitting or style. Extremely tedious to browse through the inventory. 2) The wait time to use fitting rooms is the really long and it is very poorly managed as people who want to change or reconsider sizing options are allowed to hold their spot and browse for more options while those in line still have to wait for their turn. 3) The attitude of the cashier was as if she was doing some sort of charity by providing me the clothes. At first I asked her if she could check if the store had any more inventory for an 'M' sized shirt to which she rudely replied by saying that all the options are in store and there's nothing that she could check. Also I had a coupon by which I was eligible for a 25% off on my total bill provided the bill amount is CAD 70 or higher. My bill amount was CAD 69.96 so I asked her if I was eligible or if I needed to purchase another item. She rolled her eyes at me and kept staring while I was expecting just a simple reply. She kept murmuring something to herself and I was still waiting for her to respond. She then folded her hands and started right at me like I was asking her for a favour. And then my wife just bought a pair of socks and she billed us giving a 25% off and this is what I heard clearly as she murmured to herself - "wasted my time f****** cheapskate". I lost my cool but was instantly pulled back by my wife as I was about to get into a spat with her. I draw 4 times more money per hour than that cashier and I'm cheap? WOULD RECOMMEND ANYONE TO NOT GO THERE AND IF YOU DO, PLEASE OBSERVE HOW YOU ARE TREATED AND REPORT IMMEDIATELY. I have written to the PR head of HM Canada reporting this.

I’ve been there yesterday to exchange a top. The person at the cashier decided to prepare the top that I was returning completely before to start my exchange. She looked for a hanger, started to look for a tag to attach to the top, she went to place the top inside of a closet, all before to even start my exchange. I couldn’t believe how long I had to wait. I never saw this before, the priority is always the guest, and you should prepare the clothes for sale during slow times. Very disappointed with this lack of customer service training.

If you like lots of inexpensive, up to the minute outfits in a low pressure sales environment, then H & M is your kind of place. The only complaint here is that it's hard to find staff to take down items that are out of your reach - and I am not a short girl (I'm 5'6"). Otherwise, I'm like a kid in a candy store here, and I never leave empty handed.

I needed to ask a question, so I called customer service and even more of a nightmare the guy that answered the phone at customer service hardly spoke English! What a turn off. They have superb discounts, so worth it to buy something that you like very much but don’t want to spend very much. Self attitude matters. I always got excellent customer service. I bought items on sale that were final sale. I picked dresses my size 36 and even larger (my size is usually 32-34). YES I AGREE the price was good but the dresses are sewn with awkward pattern (above bust where dress connects to shoulders/arms) stretches and too small that you cannot even raise your arms. I went for exchange BUT no they did not accept. It is the same issue with my friend 's purchases too. Too disappointed with H and M. would not recommend to anyone. It is nice store I have been shopping for years. But for the online shipping, I am really disappointed. They have ordered 9 nail polishes, they came only ONE. It said out of stock for the rest. But why I could put downmy order at the check out? The recently online shopping, I wanna returned cuz the size was tpo big for me. I was told in store I cant return and exchange for the stuff i shop online... It will be better if stuff we shop online can be exchanged and returned in stores is like most of companies what they do. Today I went to return a pair of shoes I bought two weeks ago due to a problem with the size. The thing is, when I bought it back then, the lady didn’t find a price tag on them so she scanned the tag of another’s. And when I wanted to return it today, the cashier didn’t accept to return it, saying the number of the item was different. When I explained to him and the manager who was later called what happened, they said I should’ve told the lady to indicate the item I bought isn’t the same one listed in the receipt. When the manager was doing her thing, the cashier grabbed my credit card from hand and looked it over, saying he “only wanted to check the name”. I snatched it back and felt really disrespected. Long story short, after about 15 minutes, the manager finally agreed to return the shoes, but not before making it look, once again, like it’s MY fault and MY responsibility to teach their cashiers how to do their job.

It is a completely wacky and insulting policy. I encourage the administration to review this unique policy which has reduced our purchasing experience. The most horrible customer service I’ve ever experienced . The cash crew are absolute useless arrogant people, Wanted to return an item , I proved my debit card is the same , then she took my phone went through my transactions, when I complained why you are doing this , she said this is our policy.
