Dolloramma is a good place to go when you're low on money or even budgeting. They have a wide variety of food, kitchen items, hygienic products (male and female), pet treats, pet food, etc. What they DO NOT have though is a wide variety of clothing which is understandable due to quality and pricing issues.

I usually love Dollarama, but this one has such a strange and cramped layout compared to most others. The entrance and exits should be clear enough for people to get in and out comfortably, but you're literally having to rub up against merchandise to get through the tiny aisle. Surprising for St Albert as most stores are usually extra clean and spacious.

I moved here a year ago and have been going to this dollarama ever since because its the only one around. I went in with my fiancé and my new kitten as we didn’t want to leave her home alone. (I have done this 3 other times on past occasion with my other 2 cats and new puppy) However, this time was different, I was stopped in the aisle by someone that worked there and told me I wasn’t allowed in the store with my kitten. She informed me it was due to them having food (but everything is packaged) and I have also gone into grocery stores with my kitten and what about service animals. She said there is a sign on the door so I checked on the way out and there was a SMALL sticker under the handle (so you have to be a child to see it) with a circle ⭕️ with dog and a line through it. Dollarama you just lost a customer for your terrible customer service and discrimination and I hope others who were in the store that were also updated by me being kicked out have similar reactions.

I have a question? Just bought this item that was stickered $1. Got to the cashier and he said that it was 1.41 with tax. Is anything posted for a dollar now automatically 1.25? I questioned the cashier and he just kept repeating $1.41. I realize that this is a dollar store but are they ripping people off by nickels and dimes?

Is everyone knows you can go into Dollarama and find hundreds of things that are perfect for what you need at a good price and I expect the same experience regardless of which dollar am I going to. I do find this Marion location card section is quite limited and it's making me feel like I've got to go to a different dollar store now. Other staff are friendly and helpful but this woman should not be allowed to work in customer service. I love being able to get things at a cheap price and you can get just about everything that you need here. I have had some bad experience with staff. Like when I was about 12 i agitated a woman in the parking lot who was flipping me off and she got out and chased a 12 year old boy through the store and the staff members got mad at me when this woman was trying to grab me by the back of my jacket.

I would love to give a full five stars because I think it’s great that Picton finally has a dollarama. Sadly, there is only self checkouts at this store. I’m not complaining because I’m lazy. Nobody knows anyones daily struggles. So to have to bag, scan and fight with the voice at the self checkout on top of your everyday life. Well, it’s a bit annoying. Where did the cashiers go? You can’t hire people and call them a cashier if they are basically just doing damage control. Bring back the cashiers! XD

Normally we have a pretty good experience with this store . But today was awful! My son told me he had to vomit, the cashier was very busy so I combed the store to find an employee to ask to use the bathroom my son had to vomit. Smirk on her face she told me flat out " no, we don't allow customers to use the bathroom " I told her that's not true they have let my son use it 3 times prior to this because they could see he is special needs. Then she copped attitude " I understand miss but I do not feel safe taking you back there alone " are you freaking kidding me ?! Then she laughed in my face! I told her "keep laughing if he vomits you'll be the one cleaning it " as I walked away . She stormed after me and told me to "LEAVE NOW" . I told her I will when I am finished. Then she threatened to call the police .. I told her please do . If you are that employee reading this I hope you feel real empowered denying a special needs child the dignity and privacy of a toilet to vomit in when he clearly wasn't feeling well . We made it outside thank you very much . You are the worst kind of human being devoid of empathy and compassion , I hope some day someone repays your kindness ????

Dollarama in Port Hawkesbury does carry some great things customers need but, the staff never seems to smile and the manager Veronica is not the friendliest,either.Less than five years ago,I walked into this store and asked Veronica where the tarps were? I asked her nicely and she was so rude and nasty and actually raised her voice to me! I should have reported her to the corporate main office for verbal harassment.THAT'S A GOOD WAY TO LOSE A CUSTOMER. I think her personality is not manager like and i think they need a better manager.Maybe,then the employees will be happier and smile. They need to widen the aisles more and have more cash registers,too.

Gotta love Dollarama. It's one of the best dollar type stores. Managed to score a Halloween costume and a ton of food staples like sugar much cheaper than the grocery stores. Plus I get my rubber coated work gloves there chesp and they're just as good as the ones from the hardware store.

The store itself was fine. But it seems Dollarama, the corporation, is trying to get rid of cashiers. There are more self checkouts than cashiers. If there's a cashier, I don't use self check outs. That's taking a job from someone. Dollarama, this one here WILL NEVER use self check out.
