Highly recommend their cold coffee! The owner is amazing, he goes out of his way to help you find anything. He found us the Beatles record we've been looking for years

Jaime Malagón

A small menu but delicious choices. The patio outside, although small, is perfect for a sunny summer's lunch. I had the tuna melt on a croissant whereas my wife had the Duo salad. Both excellent. Inside they have a coffee bar (didn't have room for desert) along with an "antique store" that is full of knick knacks.

Get shop! Lots of great pieces and blasts from the past. The cafe has a wide selection of hot drinks and a nice menu. I would argue the best coffee in town Go check this place out when you get a chance!

This is the place to go in Midland for gift and personal shopping for one of a kind treasures! I had a great latte and browsed their well-curated collectables and antiques plus some high quality reproductions. What is truly remarkable is the friendly and welcoming service combined with a very economical price point. The owners of this shop-cafe-museum have created a unique and memorable experience in a heritage building in Midland. I just hope tourists can find it as it's around the corner from the main street. Now I am kicking myself that I didn't buy more and have one of their "ugly butter tarts"! Take note Crow's Nest (another antiques store on the main drag in Midland that I, unfortunately, wasted time at.)

What a find! great place to stop for a really nice coffee, a quick and reasonably priced homemade bite to eat and the really friendly owners! That was my favorite thing about the place. My wife, who is an avid buyer of cottage decor, loves this place - best selection and prices in Midland and area!

Sachiko

The croissants were unexpectedly tasty! Loved the selection of antique items.

Shaminda Attygalle

Lovely owners, lots of vintage cool things to look at. Hidden cafe inside! So great.

We stumbled in here while wandering around Midland for a place to eat. The owners offered to warm us up some of their soup of the day even though they had stopped serving lunch because we were out of town. The soup was delicious, and we were so thankful for their kindness towards us. One of the owners even asked us if we had any music requests, then put on some Bruce Springsteen just for us! The store itself is beautiful. All of the antiques are arranged in such a dazzling way and there is so much variety of product. I can not recommend this hidden gem enough. Well worth the 45 minute drive from Barrie. I can’t wait to return!

Gretchen Casey

I found some perfect & unique gifts - an umbrella with an Eiffel Tower on it, a lovely plaque with a saying about sisters for my best friend. As a gift for myself, they had the perfect square butter dish. I smile each morning as I enjoy its beauty, the memories of our weekend in Midland and the dish's functionality. Rachel & Al stayed open so I could browse, next time I will give myself more time to appreciate and buy more treasures. The prices are very reasonable. What a special place!

I have practically furnished my entire cottage from this store! You will not find such a well put together vintage shop! What’s nice about it too is that they sell new merchandise as well with coastal and cottage themes! Rachel has also started selling clothing that is great for the cottage but also great for work!

Bonnie West

The Old Town Library Antique Shop has something for everyone at very reasonable prices. The shop is a family run buisiness who are very friendly. They make you feel very much at home. They have a quaint little restaurant in the back of the store where they serve the best food and gourmet coffee and teas in the Southern Georgian Bay Area at very reasonable prices. The number one place to be at any time of the year.

First time in for a browse! Awesome place and prices are fantastic. We were lured into lunch by the awesome smells coming from the cafe at the back of the store. All homemade. And the atmosphere was great. I would highly recommend this place for shopping for that special person or yourself and a must stop for lunch.

Cute place! Neat finds! Bistro is a nice add to this historic building.... not wheelchair accessible so restricts some visitors

Telka O'Donovan

Delicious coffee and a lovely selection of gifts and antiques.

Al and Rachael make this place so much fun. Vintage/ chabby chic/antique with a great eclectic vibe. New home decor adds that extra touch of "wow...that would be perfect to go with......" Grab a great latte and an antique 3 piece wicker set. Ok.. that is what I did last Friday. Stop in frequently, as things are always changing and you just never know what you will pick up!

Sheila Dumesh

Nice little gem. Owner super friendly and helpful. I got my 4 year old a beautiful basket and he gave me extra material to fix something small. I didn't get a chance to try the coffee but hope to next time.

Richard Power

Very few tables. So arrive early. Menu is very limited and does not fit the restrictions of not having a kitchen. Staff are friendly but there dress is anything goes and its there first time worling. Food seems to be made ahead of time so its cold and not the best.

Steven Beatty
