I am super impressed with the quality of work I just had done to my dress. I had a bridesmaids dress taken in in the armpit and hemmed in less than 27 hours. Not only did she do an amazing job but suggested my holidays layer underneath be taken up to just above the knee while leaving the sheer layers to the floor. It looks absolutely amazing! I was recently referred to Midland Tailors by my family and brought a dress that was purchased online that I’m sure could have doubled as a parachute. It was a sweetheart neckline, strapless dress with a ruffled high-low skirt that was way too big, way too long and about 30 lbs. too heavy. In other words, it was a hot mess and a seemingly daunting task. Right from the start, upon entering Midland Tailors, it was a friendly welcome. Their professionalism and expertise set my mind at ease on dress that we had pretty well given up on. Not only did Midland Tailors provide exceptional customer service, they were also able to work in sync with my visits from Toronto. The cost of alterations was excellent, their thoroughness and ensuring I was satisfied was first-class and the final result succeeded all expectations. I really love this place. Professional husband and wife team running a high quality tailoring and dry cleaning outfit. A well designed studio and changing area, clean, modern, well lit and mirrored (I really appreciate this). They offer excellent design and tailoring insights that make your clothes fit like a glove. My only problem is that since I've been going there to get my clothes altered, I realise that my entire closet doesn't fit right! Once this couple takes care of you, you finally realise what it means to have clothes that "fit". Your consciousness is raised.

Had a favourite beach cover up repaired under the arm. The fabric was torn, not the seam. I was very happy when I picked it up. Magically the torn was gone and it looked like there was never a rip under the arm. The cost was very reasonable and now I'm taking in all my family's winter coats in to be cleaned. Very professional tailoring and a lovely clean shop. Would highly recommend them for custom clothing, alterations even bridesmaids or wedding dresses.
