I was so nervous I wouldn't have a good time shopping for my wedding dress. I was confused on where to start, and I worried that I would feel self-conscious and I'd hate my body in anything I tried. But the girls at Magic Moments really know what they're doing. I felt beautiful in every dress they picked out for me, not once feeling bad about myself. I found the dress of my dreams, and they were so helpful and supportive. AND it came in early! I can't recommend this bridal boutique enough.

They were so very kind and determine to help me find the dress that brought tears to my eyes. They did just that! We had to put it on a rush order in January 2017, so I could receive it at the end of April as I was getting married May 13th, 2017. First they lost the dress during shipping. Then they got sent the wrong dress, and in all this time it was me calling them not them calling me. It is now June 15th, 2017 and I am still waiting for my dress ???? it's heartbreaking.

Get ready because this is a long one. I found my dream dress in Calgary and unfortunately the company went bankrupt 4 months before my wedding. I called Magic Moments so upset asking when I could set something up because I didn’t have much time and the owner Karla told me to come in right away, I was a mess. I cried right when I walked in just so upset and Karla comforted me in such a warm loving way. She offered to get in contact with Stella York as they would still have my dress but I would have to pay AGAIN $2200. Karla could have just said you are out of luck you need to just find a dress here and we will put a rush order on it that would mean she would lose out on a sale completely. I was worried about the size of the dress I ordered so after waiting just a few days I decided to just go with a beautiful dress I found from her store and it was $2300 and worth every penny. She made me feel like I wasn’t just a number walking through the door, she was willing to do whatever she could even if I wouldn’t have purchased a dress from her store so she was doing all the work at no cost to me and her risking out on a big sale. I honestly would recommend this place to any brides and she carry’s lost of plus size dresses so that was a big help as I’m a plus size woman. I could go on and on about how amazing she is but her actions were just so caring and honest. Karla you are a beautiful person inside and out and if I could do it over again I wouldn’t because it all came together and the reassurance you left me with was nothing but amazing. Thank you! Drove from Calgary twice to visit here and said yes to my dress!! They were attentive to details and always made me feel beautiful in the dresses!!! 10/10 would recommend this store to anyone!! After shopping in Lethbridge the same stuff was definitely cheaper here and the staff was friendly and pleasant. Lethbridge was unwilling to match the prices even closely.

Love this place! They really do cater to all budgets (mine was around $800 including alterations). No time limit either; they told me to go until I found the right dress. Customer service is awesome and they have a huge space to fit your party and other customers without getting in each other’s way. Only downside was that they quoted to low for alternations (was closer to $300 instead of the $200 they said). My mom, sister, cousin, best friend and I all found our wedding dresses here. I even bought my prom dress from them when they were located downtown.

I had found a dress online that I loved and searched all around Regina and Saskatchewan for a sample. Magic Moments was the only shop remotely close that had a sample I could try on. Karla and her team made it such a lovely expierence and it was well worth the drive to Medicine Hat. She worked very hard to get me the dress of my dreams. I was also very impressed by the inclusive sizing of the samples she has in the shop. You don't have to be a twig to get into the dresses and there is a big selection as well. Great place to shop for wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. They have a huge selection, and good range of pricing depending on what you want to spend. The staff are amazing and really care about the service they are providing. We had a good experience and great feeling shopping here. Update: Have bought bridesmaid dresses from here in the past, and my wedding dress. Still so happy with their customer service and options. My dress was quite expensive for alterations (way more than originally estimated) and so they offered me a discount on a veil, which was really appreciated.

The dress I paid over $300 for that was sized and ordered by the store needed 10" of alterations. I understand an inch or 2 but it was 10 inches. 4 out of the 5 birdesmaid dresses were way off on sizing. It was the most expensive dress I've ever bought and it looked and felt horrible l was so disappointed

I had visited several different bridal salons in Calgary and Lethbridge before heading to Magic Moments Bridal. I was feeling very defeated at the time I arrived at the Salon. As soon as I walk through the door I was amazed at the selection Magic Moments carries, and so many different styles. I am a larger size so I was also thrilled to see how many different gowns the store had that I could actually try on. With the help of Carla, and Shauna I was able to find a gown that I would never imagine I could wear on my special day. I definitely will have that 'wow' factor. Thank you Magic Moments. For everyone reading this please give this store a look before looking online or heading out of Medicine Hat

I absolutely adore the staff, they are so helpful and friendly! I was a bridesmaid earlier this month and had to miss the group try on where everyone picked their dresses, so I went alone. The girls didn’t make me feel awkward or alone at all! We also got our dresses right on time, which was quite important to us. I will always recommend this shop to anyone that will listen!

Shopped here for my grad dress and the service was good. But came back for my wedding gown and it was amazing! So many dresses to choose from what a great selection. Justine and Shawna were so kind. I'm a curvy girl and they didn't care they treated me like everyone else. The owner even came over and pulled and wiggled me into a way to small wedding gown so I could see how it would look and i said yes to that one! All the ladies work so well together laughing and having fun. My bridesmaids also loved it and found their gowns. Just picked my dress up a few days ago and again left feeling beautiful!

My fiance went through Magic Moments for her wedding dress. She was super excited about finding her perfect dress as any women would be and the staff there treated her like gold. Then came the time to put money down on the dress to get it ordered. I personally went in and put a large chunk of money down to get it ordered. A date was given for arrival. Well that day went by and no dress so a new arrival date was given and once again, no dress arrived on that day. This continued on several times. It got to the point where my Fiance was searching for a plan B. Finally the dress arrives a month and a half before the big day on a later date then promised to boot. She now needs to get it fitted (which is to be expected) and my fiance has chosen to take her dress elsewhere to get done as she just does not trust the staff & system at Magic Moments. In the end my fiance got a bag to cover the dress for the inconvenience. Kind of a slap in the face if you ask me. I get that places like this are at the mercy of the supplier & shipper but don't constantly give promises of arrival dates when they don't know 100% if it will be there or not. Long story short, we will not recommend Magic Moments to anyone as we just felt that once they get their money, they could care less about their customer and will say anything to try and keep us quiet. If there was an option for 0 stars, I would choose that option. Not impressed...

The staff here are incredible! We were working with a consultant, who was very nice, but the owner also came over to assist as well. It was very fun having a group of people helping me out. I had no idea what type of dress I even wanted, yet some how with the great group who worked here, I picked out the perfect dress in less than 2 hours! And they were able to give me a little discount on top of an already great price! Go check this store out!!!

I had an extremely positive and comfortable experience buying a wedding dress here. Staff we knowledgeable and were not pushy. They let me pick out my dresses and guided me with my price point. They understood my budget (500-800$) extremely well and did not try to up sell me , which I appreciate. I would recommend buying a dress here to anyone and if I need another dress I will be back!

this is perhaps the best dress shop south of Calgary. I only discovered it after having a bad experience at a store in lethbridge, so when visiting my sister in med hat she took me here. Next time im shopping for a fancy dress this will be my first stop. Prices were so decent.

I did not like the way they make you sign a paper of no refunds and no returns plus they keep pushing the fact that it takes 3 to 4 months to get them in which makes a person feel rushed found out the Mothers dress I bought looks like the bridesmaids dresses but now I am stuck with it and I cannot get my money back. They were actually pretty good they said I could get credit or a different dress form their store or from the internet and they were very good about it.

Not very happy with this place. I was constantly asked "Is this the dress, is this the dress" There is almost a sense of desperation in the air to sell. High pressure sales tactics were not appreciated.

When I first went in I was really happy with everything. My wedding dress was due to come in March and it is now almost June and my dress just arrived. They initially made and sent the wrong dress. Not ONCE did the owner try to contact me about any of it. Whe I called she stated they sent the wrong dress, don't you think you would call your bride to be and let her know? Nope they don't care about calling anyone back. Then I called just a couple weeks ago and needless to say I wasn't very kind on the phone as my dress was going on 3 months late. I stressed the owner called me, not once did she call me or even think that she should. In my opinion this is the WORST customer service I have ever had in my life. So if you have set a date and you NEED your wedding dress by a certain time I would think TWICE about going here. No regard for the customer at all.
