This precious boutique comes with my highest recommendation. It is curated to epic proportions and very well priced. The young men running the show are two of the most remarkable people I have had the opportunity to meet. They are extremely knowledgeable and fashion forward and as down to earth as you can get. They have single handedly made Winnipeg on of the most stylish cities on the map. Their clothing is always of the best quality and they have steered our vintage and overall shopping scene in a much needed direction. They always focus on your needs and are continuously making efforts to help the community. They always point you in the direction of what you’re looking for if they don’t have it and encourage other sellers and businesses alike. The atmosphere and conversation in the store are just as great as the clothing and will keep you coming back!

VV has changed the shopping game for me. Every time I enter, I am welcomed by a lovely and curated atmosphere. It is achieved by their care for each of their customers, reasonably priced pieces, décor, and calming playlist. I shop at VV because I know not only am I getting an amazing vintage piece but that I'm supporting two kind business owners who do their research, and even use their work to uplift other up and coming local shops! (plus I get to gush over beautiful things and have fun while doing it) Honestly, even if you aren't sold on the idea of vintage (you should be); come to the store, it's like a museum, and just meet Josh & Michael, that will be an experience in itself that you won't regret! 10/10 would recommend.

This is hands down the best vintage store I have come across! The boutique is precisely curated with the most beautiful quality clothing. The prices are great and the owners are the sweetest young men. Finding large and plus size vintage clothing is very hard but I had so many beautiful options to choose from and took home several new dresses! This store was a great discovery as I explored the exchange district and I can't wait to come back whenever I'm in the area. I'm no stranger to vintage stores and some sell clothes that are in pretty bad condition and more on the "costume party" side of things. Vantage Vintage has really beautiful pieces that are in excellent condition that I could see myself wearing to work, on a date, hanging out around town in... feeling beautiful and looking classic and original as opposed to garish. They sell loads of dresses, purses, shirts, pants etc. and the overall vibe of the store was laid back, inviting and warm. What a gem.

Owners are personable, knowledgeable, and terrific stylists. They not only know their eras and have perfect dresses but also offer terrific advice on jewelry, hair, accessories, and shoes. In this photo, For a Saturday event I needed an Edwardian look. I had a cocktail dress that worked as a basic layer. They added two underskirts, and the wrap, and advised on gloves, bag, shoes and jewelry to complete the look. Loved it!

I was lucky enough to be served Vantage Vintage’s shop on Instagram and I’m so glad I clicked through! Three months ago they sent me these killer bell bottoms and I have another new outfit on its way - this time a 1940s beauty of a gown. While I’m in Ontario, and have never physically set foot into their adorable shop in Winnipeg, their broad array of styles, and well curated collections, can appeal to any Canadian vintage fanatic. As Winnipeg is full of hidden gems across the city, this gem in particular sparkles the brightest. The Vantage Vintage Boutique and it’s owners are definitely making strides within the thrifting and vintage community. You can find anything from retro HBC coats and blankets, to a belt buck any cowboy/cowgirl would be jealous of and do a dare say you can find the occasion vintage Chanel or other high-end designers. I do not know how these owners do it! Thrifty is an art that is for sure! I can personally say during my visits I feel safe within the boutique as a member of the LGBT+ community and feel freely to try the most daring of looks! Plus, there social media game is fierce, especially Moose!

After purchasing a dress online, it was hand delivered to my door. Upon receiving the dress, I noticed there were a couple issues with the dress that I wasn't aware of when I looked at the photos online. I messaged the owners with my concerns, and they were so understanding, accommodating and reasonable. The customer service blew me away and I hadn't even had the chance to interact with the owners face to face. Not only do they run a wonderfully inclusive + sustainable business, they really are passionate about their customers and the vintage pieces they sell. Can't wait to browse in store. I love perusing in this well decorated, warmly lit, clean, beautiful store. The authentic vintage clothing is in mint condition. Everything looks hardly worn, and they’ll fix up any loose buttons or sew up any little tears, then steam clean all garments before putting them on the floor for sale. Great staff and great stuff! My husband and I were very impressed and glad to have came across this shop during a walk through the exchange district. We picked up a few Christmas presents for the family here and need to say that the quality of clothing is impeccable. I found this place and the weekend and my mind was blown. The store is absolutely beautiful! They’ve got a seriously well selected stock. There are BEAUTIFUL items everywhere you look. I could spend all day there! The staff were very welcoming and incredibly helpful with all my questions and helping me find things in my size. Even with a store full of people they made me feel like the center or attention! They moved around the store and interacted with everyone, helping them out and making sure nobody was left aside. The atmosphere and feeling of this store is so relaxing and I haven’t seen this type of customer service in a very long time.
