This Costumes is included in the category of Non-profit organization.
Cute shop. Lots of variety
This a great place to go shopping, and you honestly never know what you can find!!!! I truly believe that this place being a Non-profit Organization is doing something great in order to benefit our community as a whole.
Products are kinda pricey for being used and donated
sometimes a bit pricey
They say masks are required but they don't bother to enforce it.
Pretty big store with lots to offer
It's decent. Some selection, and everything is easy to locate.
Poor selection
Great if you like second shopping. Staff friendly
Great selection and prices. No taxes on clothing
Great prices and always a great selection for any season of the year . You just have to be in the mood to be on the lookout. However my only issue has been several times I've gone in I feel like I've been constantly followed or watched by …
Nice trift store! Sometimes they have really good items and of a good quality.
Awesome friendly and great deals on new and used keep up the great work everyone
Convenient location. Good deals to be found.
Seems over priced for a thrift store
Good selection and great hidden gems if you take the time and look for them.
Getting very expensive for items that are used and donated
No plus size options
Classic sally anne thrift hunting paradise. Everything from books clothes toys pots pans trinkets treasures and housewares cheap as fawk . Been loving thrift stores since the 80s and this is like a time warp back to them good old days . Highly reccomended . Never crowded. Decently priced with a few exceptions.
You never know what you're going to find treasure or trash or giant pineapple
Not too much great stuff
Nice, lots of items
Everything's broken and same price as it would have been brand new. Absolute rip off. Go to walmart for deals.
Our go-to place for dropping off donations! always lots of people to help take furniture etc
One of my favourite stores
Went there today with a friend because she wanted to look into that store and I normally never shop at Thrift stores. I always buy expensive brand clothing from an actual brand store. But honestly, I wasn’t even really comfortable right away when I entered the store because I actually felt like the staffs and security guards, and obviously a secret shopper were all looking at me as someone who is a thief because of the way I looked and dressed today. ( I have my own days when I just want to be in my comfy clothes and don’t care to dress up nicely) ... there was a tall medium dark skinned, skinny man at the thrift store who came up to me just to show me the price for the new mattress because all these mattress have a different type of a mattress so not all of them are the same price. I thought that was a bit odd because no one randomly does that and because I had already asked the staff in an uniform about it first before I was approached by the man. And when I went to look for my friend and found her, the man actually appeared in the end of the aisle behind my friend, just staring at us and that made me feel very uncomfortable. Also, judged. I told my friend that I think someone may be following me and how very creepy I thought he is. Just because people have stolen from that store doesn’t mean everyone with a style that gives the staffs under the impression that they may be thieves, especially when walking around with a backpack. Of course, people in the type of a clothing style that makes them look like they are street people and a backpack to possibly try to steal items. It’s ridiculous. It made me uncomfortable and angry, too. Like, why can’t I have some peace and enjoy looking around in a store without being followed or monitored very carefully? *scoffs* That’s okay because I never go there and don’t plan on going there ever again. The reason I went is for my friend as she wanted to see if she likes anything there to buy. Just felt the need to leave a review about the bad judgment there, and how the undercover shopper creepily followed me. Be careful people, with that store because the staffs there seem to be very judgemental and worry a bit too much. Jumping to conclusion isn’t cool.
cheaper than Value Village for sure . Selection varies. Staff are pretty good, sometimes very busy and they need more help. Always I look for bugs in what I buy.Sure enough there was a cockroach once .Just before I reached for something. I add this not as a put down of S.Ann but you don't want to bring critters home !!!! Inspect your stuff always. I might add the biggest roach I have ever seen was in the Bay downtown!!! Have donated there a lot as we are downsizing. You may get a $10 off coupon [[ if spending$25]]]] if you do. Not sure what the criteria are.
Always find something good here. Store is generally well organized and clean. Prices are great on clothing, shoes, jewlery and things like that. Furniture prices are insane and have never seen any furniture items that were a truly good deal, but maybe that's just me. Staff are friendly and competent.
It's a bit smaller than other Salvation Army stores. Anyways there is great customer service and is well organized.
Is very expensive
Nicely organized products and well-maintained
Lots of clothes
It would be better if we could use the change room to try on clothes...
Love the selection however after a bad experience today with a sales associate I'm not sure if I'll be returning to this location again. The woman was horribly rude to me and my friend and decided a product was improperly marked and had to change the price making it on par with value village pricing. I thought the point of non-profit organizations like these were that the prices were better as they're meant for people who generally can't afford new items. My friend had no winter coat and it was snowing outside so luckily I had enough money to spot him the extra cost of the jacket. I wasn't aware that businesses put the customer at fault for their mistakes but apparently it happens as was made clear today. The woman wasn't even slightly apologetic about the mix-up, treating us both in a very hostile manner as we rang our items through. She refused to even look at me when I was making my purchase which made paying her harder. The woman also elected to throwing an unopened bag and the receipt in my direction and only helped me with my items after a few moments of watching me struggle to put everything in while trying to put away my wallet and get out of the way of the next customer. I'm well aware that people have bad days and sometimes things are out of your control with pricing but this woman's attitude has turned me off this location for the next year or so at least. I'd rather shop at a consignment store or value village in the surrounding area or even a different salvation army that values my business rather than support a location that treats its customers so poorly.
i've always found this salvation army to be the best bang for my buck.! plus there is always a good variety of... well... stuff (for lack of a better word). i live in north vancouver & one of the locations is JAM PACKED with furniture & another location has almost no furniture but JAM PACKED with clothes. the new westminister location is a happy medium. plus i find they have had the best prices. *** added bonus (for me anyhow) i am a plus sized girl & they have always had a great selection of plus sized clothing - which can be hard to come across in thrift store's especially.
Sometimes you can find good stuff but overpriced for the most part.
Always clean, organized and value for money
Always love going here. Lots of turnover of products.
I like the kitchen ware in here!!
Cheap clothes, shoes, housewares, fishing/camping supplies, tools, and snacks.
Well Presented big store with lots of goodies, but as with any thrift store.....the goods can be good if your there at the right times! Prices seem to be fair starting from $ to $$$ all depending on the condition of items/products.
Dropped off donations. Helpful staff and lots of stuff to buy at excellent prices.
Overpriced crappy stuff
I enjoyed shopping here with my friends. We all got what we went there for and then some. All merch was well priced, from inexpensive to almost regular price. The only thing myself and 2 of my friends didn't like was one employee who was close to down right rude! She was following us around and was verbally nasty to my friend that she followed right to the dressing room then pretty much asked her if she was "taking" that. Otherwise, all around good place.
Good place to buy used sports jacket. Some looks brand new with an attractive price. You just need to dry clean it.
Customer service sucks. They are rude and won't face you when you ask a question. Also retuning stuff because it doesn't fit is a pain. No in store credit, just exchange which isn't helpful if there isn't anything else you want. I think this is my last visit.
Used clothing. Second hand store
Love the ladies! Great service!
I found the place a bit tight, but nice and clean. The staff helpful and pleasant
Always love deals in this New Westminster location! Got this dress and bathing suit there! Fun looking!
Very disappointing that I stood seen and ignored at the display counter for 15 minutes to buy an item. The when someone finally came to help me and gave you item to the cashier I was made to stand in line another 10 minutes to purchase two items. 25 minutes to buy two items is unacceptable.
Hadeel was very helpful and patient
Cheap ugly Christmas sweaters
Great variety of items, and I find it's nicely laid out and not so cramped compared to others.
Pretty average for a used goods store, pretty small though.
Fun place to shop.
Very expensive for theef store.
Why do the prices keep going up and up ? Ever since Walmart bought Value Village and jacked their prices...Salvation army decided to do the same, but why ? by staying much cheaper than Value Villages would make Salvation Army the more talked about Thrift store, but instead... they jack their prices. Is it possible Walmart bought out the Salvation Army thrift stores secretly ?
Love Salvation army, especially the one in new westminster. It's so nice to see a thrift store priced their stuff with an honest and humble mentality compare to Value Village who takes the "let's rio everyone off" way. A method that only benefits them.
This is a very affordable and professional place to shop for all of the things that a household or individual may need. A great experience every time.
Always find a treasure or 2 here which is especially satisfying on a half price day! Today it was 2 XXXL men's name brand summer shirts and 2 black designer dresses for me. Each item $5. or less! Wow. ????
Good for swimming & hiking
Well unfortunately they have really upped their prices. There are so many items going for retail prices or more than you'd pay in a regular store! Thrift stores are supposed to be thrifty!
It a second hand store that supports charity go there spend money or drop off unused stuff to help support them
A great selection of used but excellent furniture and great deals.
Great place to find clothing for adults and kids. I also found cheap TVs that work great.2 small ones for our basement game system and 1 for our daughters bedroom. $5 and $10!
Bet they don't even wash the clothes before putting them up. Disgusting.
Daughter went there but I got a top that's winter green
Store is handy near New West skytrain stn. The prices are a bit too high. You jeed to wait fir a clithing sale.
I don't like it nope!????
(Translated) Good prices and good quality clothes (Original) Buenos precios y ropa de buena calidad
Great place to find good condition hand me downs.
Very, very busy place. This place had the most glassware out of all the thrift stores I've been too. This one keeps the high end items in a case for weekly auctions. It's a very big store and you can tell staff try to keep this place tidy but there are lots of people that go through here. So not so good for pickers.
Great place to donate clothes. Nice loading area at rear with plenty of space
It was the place I'd go when I came to.winnipeg, it's becoming expensive and following value village...disappointing
Moderately sized store, friendly and helpful staff. There is a good variety of cheaply priced items here. Lots of misc houseware stuff, clothes, scrubs, electronics, furniture, pictures, and everything is priced cheaply. The managers can usually be haggled with for prices and are generally agreeable to knock a few dollars off something.
Great deals on lots of clothing
They have so much selection it's awesome
Good deals
The place is easy to get to by skytrain. Decently organized. They offer more paintings than most thrift stores, including a pile of sports gear in the back.
expensive
The Sally Ann in New Westminster is a great place to find just about anything. Large well organized store. 10% off for seniors every day. Not a lot of free parking around.
I’m addicted to thrift stores especially Salvation Army thrift stores
Good stuff for a starter
Great bargains
Can always find a great deal , staff aren't the fastest but make up for it in friendliness
Too expensive for what it is
I like Salvation Army's prices and value their service to the community where other "Value" thrift stores are profit based and not truly charity driven.
I go every week n I enjoy browsing around
Love this store and what they do for the community.
Staff are grouchy and they overcharge for the items.
Deals!
Always great stuff to find, the workers are chill and kind hearted.
Clean, more organized than the others and the prices are great
Nice place to find stuff in, you gotta mine it digging deep. Can almost find anything if you look deep enough.
As with any used goods store some days you don't find anything for you but - other days you find treasures. Today not so much but had fun looking.
Easy to browse around, staff is very welcoming! You can find really good clothing /furniture here ... not 5 starts just cuz I think the prices might be a bit lower but overall good
I bought two shirts for ten bucks each got home and while I was trying them on found a needle embedded in the cheast pocket flap of the first one . I knew I should have inspected them more while at the store .They're high prices lead me to believe that someone may have placed it there out of spite but its not like the army of insane prices will fix it .
So I just walked in and found a golf bag for my kid the price tag said .99 so I was like sweet let’s get him some clubs and pick him up and go golfing !! …
A thrift store that has a wide variety of used goods.
I know you have to dig to find something decent in any thrift store but this one is particularly disappointing. Most of the clothes are stained and torn; all are overpriced. I usually look for records but all the good covers are empty. They just dump everything in the bin and hope no one checks before they pay. It's okay if you're bored and want to kill some time.
Pretty great selection, good prices & helpful staff.
So many things! ????
Friendly staff!
Very crowded, hard to find good stuff
Vinyl records are over priced at $3 considering the number of real record stores with $1 bins
I visit stores like this when I have some stuff for donation and then I walk around. Not sure who puts on prices in here, but I've seen a used kitchen table that was priced for $999, another person that was there took picture of it as he couldn't believe it too and said he will post it online, I hope he did. Its not just the table some stuff are priced just out of proportion, they get all these donated for free and it was supposed to be store for low income people that can't afford and people in need, instead I see all these 2ed hand stores becoming more like department stores. Get it for free sell for what ever price u want is a well thought out business in deed. I feel I would be better off throwing it to the dump than bringing it to them.
You will find gently used clothes for children and adults. But they are sometimes expensive.
Whatever redeeming qualities can be said about this place, the prices are inexcusable. They charge more for used things than Wal-Mart/Superstore/Target charge for new things. No deals to be had here.
Great range of items. Things are organized by categories and clothing is cheap. There's also a large selection of used books at the New Westminister location.
Good selection of clothing
Great Thrift Store This is a large store with a great selection of clothing, electronics such as TV's, DVD players, lamps, vacuums, and many other items. This location also has friendly staff, as well as, close access to bus and sky train.
You never know what you might find?
It is beneficial for if you have children because you can buy 2nd hands toys and these are cheap.
Great service
Great selection but poorly organized
If you donate, they give you a coupon for $10 off a $25 purchase. And the gems you can find are insane.
Friendly staff and great bargin shopping
Pretend Army, real martinets !
Found some treasures
Helpful and friendly staff
I brought in a truck load of items. It had all been in storage and was quite dusty but a lot of it was new. He took one look and said, “only things in good condition”. I said it’s dusty but it’s all mostly new stuff. He didn’t even look at …
Secondhand store.
There are times you can get a great deal on items but not always. They have a wonderful selection of books. Furniture is usually a good buy. It's a great place to visit
Great clothing is here
If you come here and see something you like get it right away or the next time you come it will be gone
Fully prepared for Covid
Great quality and fair price.
Big thrift store with lots of stuff! Can be a little expensive though I found.
This thrift store is very clean and with helpful staffs; prices for most of items are acceptable, but shelves are not very organized. Anyway I know the money I spent will help some people who need it!
Pricers should know the price of a brand new items at the mall. Items here are way over priced.
Very friendly staff and we got alot of wonderful household items for a new home..Thanks so much..
Friendly always find good things here
Excellent thrift store.Well organized.Covid aware.Very personable staff Reasonable prices.Gives back very much to the community for many many years.Rich history.
Not the biggest Salvation army outlet. Stuff are always nice, polite and helpful.
Nice clean spacious place to shop. Prices are reasonable, what you'd expect for a thrift shop.
A good place to come for some alright to good quality second hand clothing. They also sell a wide range of second hand books, kitchen equipment and other random sundries.
Very clean and great buys !
Best place to find you favourite book for cheap.
Good quality clothing at good prices and many other items to discover!
The person in charge of the till is outrageously rude . While waiting in line to pay for my items I watched amazed as she was rude and mean to a Costomer !? Then when it was my turn she was equally rude to me if that wasn’t enough she made everyone wait in line as she went to the back room to mark up my purchases she felt that who ever priced my items wasn’t charging enough for these “second hand dollar shop items. Why she was in a cruel mood that day I don’t know . Maybe she is like that all the time . Any way it started me thinking of the Salvation Army s terrible record with the LGBT+ community So I’m done with this organisation .i will use my money in future to support more inclusive organisations
They made my donation count
Great finds here always!
Very beautiful inside. Everything is organized and the staff are more then helpful. Check it out if your looking for a quality thrift store.
Love thrift stores
service &selection is good
Crowded (by stuff, not people) and kinda smelly.
This location was clean and had a large selection. The furniture was all a higher price than I was willing to pay especially considering the condition of most pieces.
Awesome
Good deals lots of useful stuff too I come here for a lot :p
Good selection
Kind of crowded but you'll always find something interesting or unique.
It was ok
Overall this location is just OK. If you're driving here there is ample parking. Smaller store and so some aisles are quite cramped and felt impossible to pass other customers therefore I didn't actually browse many areas I likely otherwise would have. I did go on a sale day so this may not be the norm and ymmv. Men's clothing section was very small. DVDs were difficult to browse through (if they could be placed like books with spines facing out that would be an improvement). It seems as though pricing is more in line with Value Village so things can be expensive and not worth it. Staff seemed quite busy (again, likely because of it being a sale day!) and were also very lovely to interact with when I went to pay.
Walked by it..didnt go in...they get 4 stars anyway just because they help people down on their luck
Nice store...cool staff.. Good price.. New jeans..lol
Cheap stuff
Good thift store
Neat finds if you look hard enough
The prices were a lot more reasonable than Goodwill people were very helpful
We all need help
Not bad
Good selection of used clothing in great shape. Reasonable prices and frequent specials on the stock, usually on Thursdays & Fridays. Decent selection of books and movies along with electronics and furniture with varying stages of wear & tear and some games and toys for the kids.
Always keeps a fresh selection of items. Great for the person who has recently moved and needs a new selection of dishware, cooking equipment, or furniture.
????????Great Prices???????? I Bought 2 Leather Bomber Jackets for $8 each & they were practically brand new ???? ????LOVEZ ???? Lovez ???? LOVEZ????
Lots of stuf
Good deals check often
I bought second hand, items over there.
Store with things in an affordable price. You can buy clothes, shoes, small appliances, sofas..
You like thrifts store? It's nice and organized with lots of hidden gems
Lots of fun finds
Retail options are limited. You'll need to tale more time to find something worth purchasing. As a warning, they don't do refunds or credits. Some items can be exchanged but you need to within a couple days.
Congested, tiered, old items with the prices not reflecting them. This seems to be the never-ending story for the Salvation Army. Not recommended
$2.00 all sweaters the day I went!
Books for $1! And the offer of 5 books for $4.
(Translated) Old store. (Original) Cửa hàng đồ cũ.
It seems that this location has fewer items and they might be a little higher priced than other Salvation Army outlets. On the other hand, it is charity so it is fine to spend a bit more.
Really, really great selection at this Sally Anne location!! Particularly clothing and footware depts. The clothes seem cleaner and in better condition than other locations I have visited as well. Come to think of it, when I moved recently I did also find many houseware items here too. Staff can be a bit brusque....but it's weeeell worth the money you will save here.
Love the store ,especially the bids they do for high end stuff
Unfriendly people like they are force to work and you owned them money
Honestly my least favorite thrift store to go to; it's only redeeming factor is it's location. Usually you can reason with staff if (damaged) clothing can be sold at a slightly reduced price (when not labelled "as is") but I had a lady …
Honestly best clothing store I've been to. Designer tees, leggings, coats, and other clothing items can be found there for as little as $4, and the service there is very helpful. Changing rooms are provided.
Nice employees. A bit understaffed. Not many people in store. People kept their distance.
Keep finding a lot of treasures here. Not a large store but has media section, furniture, a smaller toys section, kitchen stuff and a lot of clothes. Restocks often and has sales from time to time. Hard to find parking - no parking lot of their own, some paid street parking around. Very close to New Westminster a skytrain section.
I'm a frequent thrift store shopper around the HRM, so I know my way around a second hand store. If I had to compare them all in my head, this one would come in near the bottom of the pile, even though it's really not that bad. It just seems smaller, less organized and more cluttered than many of the other stores (like in Spryfield for example. The staff are still super friendly though and I've certainly scored some bargains in the past. So still not a place to miss!
Not a bad selection of used items decently priced .... If not for the somewhat rude ladies at the till, would have been a great shopping experience.
Decent stuff, this is a big store. The clothes are pretty expensive, I found this old hello kitty t-shirt for $5, clearly worn and old. Some hoodies are $6. Ok store.
Good selection reasonably priced
nothing interesting
buy used save money and good for enviroment.
Good prices but needs more of a selection
Some things in the 20 dollar range but otherwise good findings
Good
Great!
Find out when they have sales to move inventory. Can get many things like kids clothes for a dollar or two.
Love it
Great prices! Scored 200.00 coffee maker for 9.99
A little expensive
Love this spot! I'm an avid thrift shopper and they are my go to! I love that they colour coordinate on the clothing racks. It makes it easier to find something specific. Pricing is amazing and doesn't go sky high depending on the brand. Staff are always super helpful. Great place to find yourself a bargain!
Good service, lots on offer
(Translated) All clothing accessories and household items at reasonable prices (Original) جميع ملتزمات ألبسة أحذية وادوات منزلية بأسعار مناسبة
We had a really bad experience with a gentleman working in their Donation centre just now - I came in very friendly with my donations but instead of being thankful, he criticized our items saying they were too old and no one is going to buy …
Good prices but I've seen cheaper thrift shops in metro Van.
Love grab ING a cheap prices brand name shirt in a jam!! But put a 2nd till in
Huge selection
Not that cheap for 2nd hand stuff.
Didn't really have to much in the way of men's clothing but quite a decent selection the everything else.
Love to shop here! Can find almost anything here and with a good price. But the only thing is that I never can find good clothes for me. My size is medium but they have almost all of their pants and shirts in large and above sizes.
This s.army is a real mess... went there to day because it was "Front of the sale day".. the place is too small for all the stuff they have, clothes... a lot in a really bad condition.. ripped and stained. Over priced and there is not …
Sucked
Have been coming here for a few years, some of my most exciting finds have been from here and I always make sure to tell people that. It's a good size, usually has a decent selection of furniture which is always cool to see second hand …
Its ok
the clothes are cool, especially good sweaters. points taken off because the company hates lgbt people and funds pro-conversion therapy groups
Everyone goes to Tim's sometimes.
My favourite thrift shop.
Too expensive for donation items
NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING FURNITURE. I generally prefer to donate to the Salvation Army Thrift store, but as I need to drop off some small furniture, I had to go somewhere else as they are not currently accepting furniture. They used to.
Worth a browse here and there but nothing more than you'd expect from a Salvation army store.
Lots of items are overpriced. Like come on, everything is donated to the store and mostly people who can't afford regular store prices shop there. The other disturbing thing I saw at this store not even once how the people who …
Find the prices are actually kind of high The place wasn't all that clean and service was sporadic
Best place 4 deals.
Interested in Thrift shops, one of the best in New Westminster (Greater Vancouver).
Clean but not many selection.
Lots of good stuff to buy
Kool
Good selection, always getting new stock. That's my jam.
Central location good selection good prices. Brand names lots of storage ideas.
Reasonably priced offerings, though a bit crowded to get around in...
Not a great selection of used items but the staff were nice.
Clothes are moderate, but I don't tend to find that much here. Can be a bit slow at checkout, usually only one person working the till.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!
The prices are WAY WAY WAY too much for items that were given to them for free! There's items that have the original price tags on them and then these guys put a price tag of their own for more then the original price! Then you get in trouble for try to see if items are the right size or not.
Huge thrift store
Clean bright and friendly!
Bought 2 chargers and non of them is working. And you can't return it ??
Usually fairly well organized for a thrift shop, which is fairly impressive. Staff are very helpful and kind.
If your looking for vintage items this is the place to shop. The also have brand new stuff if you have time to shop. I picked up some cool swag, they also take donations #payitforward and donate today
I bought a pair of jeans there ,although I couldn't try them on ,but they ended up fitting me...
Some of the best deals in town; designer clothes, electronics, toys, household items, suits, ties, shoes, belts, books, videos, records, jewellery, and oh so much more. And you feel good about donating as "Everyone is worthy of compassion and respect". A great place to volunteer too!
Cheap deals on used goods
Little dark and grungy. But it's for charity and has some good deals.
Sometimes a little high for second hand
Clean, courteous
Great staff and organized clothing
Always good people
Great items and deals.nice staff, Good parking!
Very attractive and good Managed store.......
Love this place, saves me a bundle
I love this store it's full of treasures ready to be found
I think Salvation Army along with other thrift stores are forgetting they are THRIFT stores that get items for FREE!! And they are not antique/vintage shops. Today I saw $250.00 price tags on a garbage looking couch I'd find in an alley and table at this thrift store. Are you serious? I can buy new stuff for that price. I've also seen $5 used pillow cases and "salvation army" price tags with higher prices on items with the cheap original price tags still on them. I'll go here for small gem finds but it's getting ridiculous.
Very poorly sorted. But, very good prices and I found 1 great clothing item. So if you have the time to sort through you might find a gem.
wow
good
I love this place
I always find something that I'm happy to have found to take home
I go here all the time. Most items are priced fair. Large store, good variety. Staff is friendly with the exception of one lady who has worked there a while. She's exceptionally rude and aggressive with customers. It's a wonder that she's employmed.
Very rude service. Those Philippines people who are working there are very VERY rude. I really hate when every time go there. I don't feel comfortable!!
I love the way u guys are helping the needes..I am a big fan of yours idea of helping others...God bless you...
Good deals and some treasures too...
Wish I felt like these people were more into helping people in need but time and time again I've seen them kick people out, and today I tried to leave a couple bucks for the next customers order and they wouldn't take it. ????♀️
(Translated) I loved it. Benefit store of recycled products. Great prices and today is everything with 50% (Original) Adorei. Loja beneficente de produtos reciclados. Preços ótimos e hoje é tudo com 50%
They are a credit to the community
Kind of slow for staff help, but fair pricing and clean. Good job.
Always a good place to cruise around if you are the thrift shop type. Clothes , home goods and linens.
I support non profit places because there are many in need of these services. The staff is always friendly. I would rather give my donations to places like this and do regularly.
I never left unhappy nor empty handed. ????
Good deals if you look
Thanks for having friendly staff
Prices are higher lately yet quality isn't better.
Great prices
Great prices and selection. Money goes to a good cause.
Clean, friendly staff, and good prices
Better prices than V V for profit rip.. ????
(Translated) He is very good (Original) انه جيد ممتاز جدا
We shop economically here. It is close to where we visit our son. Mostly we get clothes and return what we are not using
We give away clothes and ornaments, and go browse around.. Nice finds
One of the best thrift stores with really reasonable prices - I always find something!
It is what it is
Such a fun place to shop. Absolutely loved it. Great staff.
There were lots of interesting things to buy here. Place was pretty clean. Nice way to spend an afternoon just browsing.
A good store . Lots of homewares and clothing , glass ware and electronics
Staff member named Roxanne was friendly and very helpful! Had great knowledge of where things were in the store and walled me over instead of just telling me where to go!! Helped me find the correct sizing and was a very nice polite girl! I will defiantly be back to this location! Thanks again Roxanne for your help!
Good selection, excellent prices, wonderful staff. Good place to shop for used clothing, with all the money going directly to helping people, Unlike value village.
Cool
Medium size thrift store. Prices are not terrible. Items are often badly categorized, lots of women's sweaters in the men's section. Not enough registers, only 3 in total and I've ever only seen 2 active. There's some rare good finds, as in any thrift store.
Awsome
????????
Closed on Sundays.
Lots of good quality and valuable things. Good location very close to New Westminster Station. Thank you for the good price and service. ????????
They had a bong in there that they thought was a vase
Good used shop
Awesome!! The staff are exceptionally friendly here, and super-helpful.
Love this store great people
(Translated) The place is spacious and the staff very friendly, some prices seemed too high to be "second hand" or used (Original) El lugar esta amplio y el personal muy amable, algunos precios me parecieron muy elevados para ser "second hand" o usados
There is always a treasure to find in the Salvation Army thrift store. It's the thrill of the hunt and friendly staff that keeps me coming back.
As always, clean and well-organised by the very helpful staff of volunteers. However, viz. entry" with the COVID crisis continuing the line-up to get in yesterday took more than a half an hour for what was 10 minutes of shopping for n
Just browsing... but always finding deals
I find the prices high here for second hand. I heard one fellow trying to barter and the cashier said profit was for charity. This didnt sit well with me. I like the salvation army but most people buying second hand are on a fixed budget so keep the prices reasonable.
Good but smelly
Neat
A lot nicer place since the renovation.
you can always find something good here with a great price!
I can spends hours searching for treasures here
This location does a limited amount of recycling on top of their regular services. They were able to take some electronics and old kids toys
Plenty of choices of items. Quality varies.
Good selection, decent prices
Very kind staff that are easy to talk to and accommodating. Large parking lot with easy access.
The shop is very clean and orderly. As with any thrift shop, it's hit and miss so you never know what you're going to find. People working there seem very friendly.
Pretty good. Enjoy shopping whenever I have a chance.
Well organized and huge
Great cause, great bargains.
Cleanliness
open floorplan so it is easy to see what the store has to offer. Staff was not very helpful & quite sharp in tone when I asked if they carried a bike lock & chain. 1 lady was extremely friendly and helpful. She has blonde, short, wavy hair and is about 45-55. I would hope for her to be recognized for her awesome customer service! ????
Cool place
An employee with a mouth too loud. I dont care what ur personal issues are, but for someone so nicely kemp.... Maybe you should keep worrying about your looks rather than a childs developmental issues, and watch what kind of people you converse with. Shameful!!!!
Chill. The textbook definition of West Coast.
Very friendly service.
Not bad, but I thought it would have more stuff.
best place if you are open to pay less and get good condition used products
Great finds at a great price
Big and clean parking might be an issue
very busy... bargain hunting never gets old
(Translated) Place to stifle for a few pesos. (Original) Lugar para requechear por pocos pesos.
nice
It is a big store with lots of well organized products. I always manage to find at least 1 or 2 treasures when I go, and if you sign up to their newsletter they let you know when all the sales are! They are following covid protocols well; have to wear a mask, changerooms closed etc.
I only drove past, didn't go inside
Very pleasant and eventful shopping trip
Clean, items are well sorted, staff is friendly and helpful. Supports a very good cause. On the ever-so-slightly negative side, it's located in an industrial area and many potential patrons wouldn't be able to get there without a car.
Very clean and organized
Like most thrift stores, it depends on the day and what your looking for.
(Translated) I highly recommend everything and at a great price (Original) Lo recomiendo mucho tiene de todo y a muy buen precio
Poor quality items
This thrift store sells mostly clothes. A few toys, books and small appliances. I couldn't find a place to lock my bike, so, I had to lock it on their sign.
Awesome place! love the deals found a danier 3 quarter length leather jacket there for $39.99 in mint shape Livin it man just loving it!
Overpricing on a ton of things. Like a busted vase from winners where the price tag on it says 12.99 and they're charging 10. Kind of ridiculous that way. Also, it smells, but what thrift store doesn't. I go here to find some kind of diamond in the rough, and usually come out lucky. If not, there's always crackheads doing something weird for entertainment haha.
Whenever I go to a Salvation Army I’m reminded how popular Winnie the Pooh was for the coffee crowd in the 80s. I like to think the Folgers crowd and Pooh heads (sorry) have a big overlap. …
As always Sally, had treasures but they were hidden where they don't belong. I found a pair of men's jeans in the kiddie section. Just goes to show that when at thrift stores you have to go thru everything if you want find that item you know was made just for you.
Highly recommended. Prices, concept, and staff are excellent ! Should be supported ! It is for people like us.
Still worth a look but I think they need to reconsider some of thier pricing. Some new tagged items are marked higher than what was ask brand new. Staff are usually very helpful and a few of the ladies they are especially …
Price is good ????, find something still with original price tag either
A place where you can help a charity and recycleing household stuff by buuing them cheap
Organized thrift store Love the way they pack the small toys together A bit overpriced though on the items in their glass showcase
(Translated) For newcomers it is a good option l (Original) Para los newcomers es buena opción l
Prices are way higher than similar thrift stores!
Very Good
You never know what you're going to find. It's like a scavenger hunt????
Store is clean. Somewhat cluttered. I'm in a wheelchair. Prices are hit and miss.
Awesome thiftstore so big and u can really find some diamonds here
Didn't find much, place was extremely busy and racks of clothes are too close to each other in such way that you need to squeeze past people. Also a bit pricey...
Decent selection
(Translated) Fab-tabulous! (Original) Fab-tabulous!
Not pricy, clean clothes
A bit out of the way but lots of free parking.
Absolutely, one of the thrift shops that is worth visiting. The store offers several selections on wardrobe, shoes and accessories, as well as house goods. Yet, the toy section and selection is not as big compared to other thrift shops. Prices are reasonable and the selections are commendable as they are not that worn out and looks almost new. Their employees are also very friendly!
There's always something new and interesting here. The store is always well maintained and clean the aisles are not littered with clothing that people have dropped off the rack and were too lazy to pick up. And they're being strict about the covid measurements as in masks and trying to keep the distance
I'm glad it's there but there was just nothing of interest for me in the whole store.
I love my store. Love the staff at our Orillia store.
Great prices but I find they don't rotate products....things sitting there for months while piles of new stuff sits in the back. They need to work on getting the products out to the sales floor
This is my go to thrift store in New West. I've found all kinds of unique treasures here from furniture to clothes to art work. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very cordial. They also have some good sales The one draw back is that they don't have a public bathroom (and will not let you use the staff bathroom even in an emergency). So, be sure to go before you shop.
Good but sometimes exspensive
Decent
Love it
Great store
(Translated) Personally, I do not love it very expensive for what is used and donated things, clothes not in very good condition and a price that can be found at a better new price, toys in terrible condition and expensive, antiques and paintings but the same in any store at the same price and new, some household items that can be useful if they can be found or books out there, it does not seem like a big store to me, you could find something that is worthwhile according to they comment but I did not see anything special or things that did not You can avoid buying second for a super low price, being that it is donated and used.
Large store of mostly clothing. Kitchenware , CD's, DVD's and all sorts of other items. Donated items used but at bargain prices.
The Salvation army in Orillia is an amazing place with wonderful people. They go out of their way to help everyone in the community.
Some good finds here but parking is sparse.
Can find nice name brand gems
Good spot to find some gems in the rough
Nice furniture at reasonable prices
It's definitely one of the better Sally Ann locations in the city. For better or for worse it's also the closest to where I live and I spend a not insignificant amount of time there. They get good stock in, and the people that work there are personable and helpful.
Actually the best Salvation Army I've ever been to.
Only 5 stars for my child
When I lived in Halifax 20 years ago , this was one of my favourite second hand shops to go to. I have to say I was surprised at how much the prices have changed. There is a Salvation Army in the town I live in now. And there is a huge price difference. Disappointed that you cannot use the change rooms. And even more disappointed that they do not have one mirror anywhere for you to hold up the clothing to look at yourself. At least it's good to know that the Salvation Army has always help out their community
Found some good deals there. Name brand clothing for a decent price some items still had the original tags on.
Was very disappointed ,I picked out a few things and when I went to pay the cashier told me one of the things I wanted to buy was priced wrong and told me 4$ more than the ticket ???
Prices here r ridiculous too. Its donated stuff.
(Translated) It has clothes in very good condition and at Very Low prices, even lower than a value villag. Yes
Love this place.you can always find little gems!!
I spend time and money here almost daily yet one say Staff asked me to leave because they didn't like my shopping habits.. No explanation nothing. then threatened to call the police on me. at the last second another staff member recognized me and told them they were wrong .. But it was upsetting... humiliating. embarrassing
Went for a men's belt. Got a good deal and happy with belt.
Got lucky and found a manual sausage grinder! So happy!
Its a sally ann lol
No return period at all on electronic cookware, its literally a crazy shoot to see if it works or not. You know, that and the bigotry
It's often too expensive and unaffordable and I was wondering what I should do about unusable clothing that is still being sold, its far too expensive and the mark-up on clothes, needs attention so that someone in power can change the prices.????
All Salvation Army stores are closed as of March 17 yet they haven't updated the Google highlights page. It says "Opens 9 a.m." Its beyond comprehension how people can be so thoughtless and not update their own pages. Even on their website I saw nothing about all the stores being closed. All over the country people, in a generous mood, are dropping stuff off at your stores only to be met with closed doors. It takes time to load up the vehicle and drive over there. You are ignoring their efforts. Not good! Be responsible with your online presence. People that give deserve more respect.
As far as thrift stores go, this is one of the best. A large selection of cheap donated items, with everything from tech to clothing to kitchenware. You really never know what you're gonna get. And it's all for a good cause too, so you can't go wrong.
Really big store with lots of selection
Donated 4000lbs of used winter jackets etc The tried to send it back as it wasn't good enough quality for them !!! Really people are cold on the street and it's iot good enough 1000s of pieces of cloth for free and they complained I was trying to do a good deed and this is how they act !!! Never will I donate 1cent to salvation army armr again !! We sent the same donation to other charities and they we grateful !!
The lady at the counter was so helpful we wre having a hard day and she was amazing and the store was nice
Overall okay acceptable experience, not the most professional but technical issues with the register caused me to wait close to 25 mins and Joseph probably overwhelmed decided to do paper work before servicing a customer who had been clearly waiting. Please use my patience to change to a more customer aware outlook
Store was a little messier than usual and staff had to be asked to let customers pass instead of just moving so customers could continue to browse
Mostly likely never going back I had a coupon so I could get 20% off and the lady didn't do it and I didn't realize so I paid then my mom asked her if she used the coupon the lady said she didn't. they owe me 30$
Always an adventure
Overpriced. Nice things but overpriced.
Friendly and helpful staff
I'm finding the Salvation Army thrift stores are hit or miss. The clothing selections are limited and the prices are starting to increase, considering their not for profit. However; I like to browse through the nick naks and see if I come across something unique.
You can find some treasures there if you have the time to look.
Have shopped there for years and usually find some sort of treasure. Find prices have increased somewhat but they do help out alot of people so have to tell myself that if I want something that I think should be priced lower. They give seniors a 10% discount every day of the year. Once in awhile they have specials on certain things in their stores.
Standard thrift store, relatively clean and not messy or disorganized. Place is taken care of. Don't often have what I'm looking for but are busy enough with more regular shoppers.
Very big store...Nicely organised...
Found the warm clothes we needed for the Canadian drizzle. Great prices. Hat for a dollar.
Helpful staff, reasonably priced goods.
Clean store and friendly staff.
Cashier was having a bad day with the scaning, very slow service, scrambled all the merchandise we purchased like it was garbage. I have to folded nicely myself. Bad tempered.
Okay
Great store and very convenient.
Good place to find used clothes at a reasonable price. Also has various other things to choose from
Good variety
amazing
Moderately clean and well kept, good service.
Usually find some good deals.
Good customer service
Nice inventory Reasonable prices
I found what I needed and the costumes were nice.
Great deals, bought the perfect green sweater yesterday for 3.50 and wore it today. ????
I like thrifting and helping others at the same time
overpriced for a thrift store
Staff is really nice. Very helpful
Great selection and so affordable
Long line ups and low standards on covid protocol.
I am not bothered by it.
Very friendly staff.
Ok selection not great
Lil bit trashy and interesting characters. Still, great finds and they have discount days.
Somewhat cramped, but offers a wide selection of goods, and has a different treasure of the day, which is a special deal, such as BOGO, etc
It was ok. The prices there are ok.
Who doesn't love a thrift store
Nice turnover of stuff here so there's always new things. Pricing however is sometimes above retail because someone is unfamiliar with used pricing.
You can pick up free bread
Good place for thrifty items. Could use a bit of cleanup.
My boyfriend found a keyboard at this location that was infested with spiders and lacking a power cord. They were asking $90 for it. When he took it up to the register he told them about the problems and offered them $30 for it. The clerk refused and seemed insulted by the offer. This evening I went in to the same location and bought a purse, which the signs said were 30% off. When I asked the cashier about the discount she said that it didn't apply to that purse. It seems the people running this place don't understand what second hand goods should be sold for. Very pricey for a thrift store with bad customer service and mediocre organization. Go literally anywhere else.
Always a good opportunity to search for treasures and support a charity. Happy to find a laser level just when I need one, and a fraction of the price of a new one.
good place , affordable , nice workers
Yes
Always pleasant people working there. Great items at great prices. The only place I drop off things to donate.
Great deals. Friendly staff
Super hectic and busy store. Not too friendly of staff as was not approached or assisted by anyone during my visit. Huge selection of "stuff" and pretty good organization overall. Just not my cup of tea for atmosphere.
Always friendly staff & great buys
Since the covid , the way the store is now looks much more space and cleanliness.
Great finds. Pleasant staff. Change rooms i.e. mirrors very dirty.
Great place
Always pleasant. Usually find something I didn't know I needed.
It is ok seems like a smaller store.
we found what we needed at the first visit and saw a few treasure too! to visit
Great furniture and clothing selection
Excellent
Always a great selection and the staff is friendly & helpful. Clothing is organized according to size.
Usually organized fairly well (though I don't know what's happening in Women's Shoes lol). But what is with the price on the kitchen stuff!? And it has the same smell all Sally Anne's do - is it a cleaner or sanitizer they use? Just odd and off-putting.
The quality of goods seems to depend on the quality of volunteers sorting them. Sometimes everything is in great condition, no tears or stains, other times literally everything I try on has an obvious detect, with no price reduction to account for it.
(Translated) On the contrary I like this Luis because all things cheaper (Original) Contraire j'aime cette Luis parce que toute les choses moins cher
Great as always. Staff very friendly
Pure shyte!!
Great place to find used clothing and the proceeds goes to a charity. If you have any donation this is a good place to take them.
Stuff was really expensive for being donated. Okay selection and large store though
Nice big selection, clean store. Great alternative to the for-profit alternatives. Highly recommend if you want a thrift store that is associated with a charitable cause, especially if you are dropping off donations.
Least gross salvation army thrift store in all the lower mainland!
Good deals fair quality
I was in a couple of times last week, as I really like this location. When I asked about a about a staff member that was always very friendly and helpful, I was told that person was let go bc of not being vaccinated, even though anybody can shop there vaccinated or not. I thought the S.A. was a caring, non judgmental, charitable organization. Apparently this isn't so. Shame on you Salvation Army, for discrimination and putting people out of work!! I won't be back.
Basically the only place I buy my clothes from. I donate here often and they give you a $10 coupon off $25 every time. I would definitely recommend to anyone
One of the best second hand stores
Very nice place... And super nice staff.
I love this particular location ❤ always find a deal !!!!!
Nice concept
I love this location! I always find something. Its great for clothing, always something trendy. Not as good for furniture and housewares if thats youre main goal but worth checking out.
Used to be the place to go for really good bargains ,but now that covid has been going on they have skyrocketed the prices of a lot of stuff and the manager Jody the 1 on main Street is not as friendly very suspicious of brown people. I find that they seem to think it's okay to charge almost the same price you would pay for brand new clothing ,the individual who came up with the idea to start this was a Christian who wanted to help people in need shop for inexpensive items ,now it has been for more of a profit than anything, they have gotten away from the mission intended.
You can find great items with some awesome deals.
Sallies are always tidy. This one has great range and prices. Especially for furniture.
Slightly expensive, and has almost no electronics or VHS tapes. If all your looking for is clothes, then you're set
Great bargaining
Good prices. Really big, so lots of products to browse through. Lots of furniture. Lots of good clothing. Good electronics.
Great place
True thrift store pricing! They have a small selection of furniture (its a small store).
Great service
Love this store. Me and my family
Good deals.
Always good deals to find!
Decent.
Small and intimate
Great goods , lil over priced but some goods finds
Very Nice place
It was kept very tidy, i felt safe buying product from this location.
This store is taking a page from the ValueVillage play book, get donations, charge high prices. It is sad that a store that once was there to help people in need, now is there for profit. Yes I know that the funds raised are used for charity work, however thrift stores were once a place that people with limited funds could shop for things. I will never donate to this place again, they are money grabbers and no different then VV, now!!!
Deaks
Best run store ever!!
Horrible customer service. Overpriced and staff are very rude!
Big and clean reasonable prices.
Quite nice, and very clean. Good selection of just about everything.
Staff very friendly and pleasant , right there to help you . Store very nice ,tidy and bright. Well laid out in its different sections .
They have decent clothing and shoes but the prices are as same as Walmart's. It is funny as I saw the special pair of shoes, a sales clerk wants to jack up the price so that I may leave them. To her amazement, I paid for them and left. She didn't seem pleased.
Great place to find quality work clothes.
Good selection of slightly used items for an attractive price, which vary by the day and week, friendly and helpful sales staff
Large store. Good selection of stuff.
Good selection and great prices. Can get a bit busy but staff is good at keeping things moving.
Big store. Ok selection. Old looking stuff. Not a real bargain.
Clean. Tidy. Friendly staff. What more do you demand?! How about 14$ nearly new shoes??? Sure thing, that's what I just picked up. Good place, go here.
Good place for your donations, plenty of clothes and other items that are in good condition for everything,
I cannot express how wonderful the manager and staff are, (especially Melissa)! The friendly and professional manner of these people are by far the best! I had a problem and the impeccable way it was handled made my heart melt! The prices and gems I find there are reason enough to keep me coming back but this particular store is now #1 on my places to shop. ????
Helpful
The stock is always changing and we know the proceeds go to a good cause.
Nice place to find treasures at very reasonable prices!
It has some terrific stuff, friendly staff; and, I like that my donations, go toward a better community.
Army Navy store, love it.
Its hit or miss
Excellent, friendly staff very clean and organized
Just fine.
Very convenient and accessible drop off area on Front street at the back. Great place to drop off unused items for a great cause. They accept almost anything you bring them except mattresses and a few other things. Never had a issues with them with clothes or any items I brought.
This is a fairly large second hand store. You can find some good things.
Items are very poorly organized. Lots of sizing in areas it doesnt belong in. Shoes are just kind of placed wherever on the shelf with no organization to them. Lots of items just set wherever. Lots of items on the floor and i see that as a high potential tripping hazard
Today my Husband dropped off a truck full of good items, the Staff on duty looked at him as if he had just ruined his day. I used to work for Salvation Army , which is why we choose to donate here , well why we used to donate here. Staff didn't help unload , did not thank my husband and no coupon ,(the least of our concerns really) we weren't looking to be praised for donating such a load but a tiny bit of gratitude would have done it. I am aware of protocol towards donations and the staff on duty did not follow any regarding donations . Unfortunately we still have three more loads of great donations but after that experience we will donate elsewhere.
Lots of Kitchen goods to dig through, some great treasures
Great staff and you can find vintage stuff
Alot to choose from. Staff are always friendly
Alright
Just another so so
Good selection of merchandise.
Always great finds at great prices.
The store is a bit crowded and on the busy side. But you never know what you'll find.
Always something there u need
Clean and well organized
best store ever! i go all the time!
Nice and clean!
Impolite and unwelcoming service at the backdoor, arguing the furniture condition is not good enough for resell even saying that no one will want to buy this desk and even ask me if the desk is in usable condition why I need to donate to the store. This is ridiculous as I bought the new furniture and figure is a good thing to donate the desk as the desk still working, I can go straight to the furniture recycling without going this place for this. Not recommended.
It was nice .. everything u find here is in good condition and price is very cheap
Great finds, but getting a bit too pricey for used clothes!!!
Good value and coming again.
I think bc this is the main place most people in new west donate, major deals to be found!!
Always a deal to be found.
Have found a few good items here. Has a distinct odor walking in. Wish the books were alphabetized or organized better. Cant really complain too much as it is a charity store.
Easy access good prices
Hello. I have to say it is better to go shop at Walmart than at this salvation store. The prices are just about a few cents more than Walmart. That's just to much for second hand clothing. At Walmart the clothing is new. For example. There …
High turnover low prices aka a perfect thrift store
Love this place will be back for sure...
Nothing interesting
Thrift Store
Always surprises waiting for you there
Some good deals
Good selection on clothing for all the family. Great sales.
I was in shopping in the new Westminster Salvation Army on September 19th 2017. And I was approached by a woman and a man. And was told I can not be in the store. Because I had been complained about in the past for bad shopping habits. I had never been in their store before in my life. I even explained how I don't live in Vancouver offered to show my Id they wouldn't look at it or let me say anything. I even phoned in to ask what I did so wrong and she just said bad shopping habits. I was smiling saying excuse me to people. Even picked up clothes others had knocked on the floor. I'm very disappointed in this. I have a good name not once have I stolen anything in my life. And yet I got made to look like I was theif in front of a lot of people. I will gladly swear on a bible about this. I was told I can lay a complaint but wasn't told how.
Not overly welcoming, but did have what I needed for the kids costume and was 6.00 so 10/10
Love it
Love the sustainability aspects of shopping here.
Good selection but a tad expensive in comparison to other salvation army's.
Quality items.
Very well layed out and lots to choose from
Love this place. Always something handy there. Glad I can help the S.A.,they help so many others.
Nice staff...good finds.
This is a very well maintained location with great inventory and even better staff. Always great chatting with Suzanne.
Was very disappointed ...picked out three things while there ,went to pay and the cashier pretty much accused me of changing sticker prices and told me one of the things I picked out was $8 more than what the ticket price said.... so I told her to keep it
Overpriceditems
I always find really cool and sporty stuff here. However I suggest going somewhere else for nice or fancy iteams as the store is smaller.
Always find something unique
The people where very helpful
I really like this store. Various quality stuff making it affordable for everyone.
(Translated) Very affordable price (Original) Prix très abordable
The place is clean and orderly. Staff very friendly
Great employees, usually really good finds!
Decent thrift store. Kinda small.
Great thrift store
Found some cool clothes, very friendly staff
The place is good and they have all the things someone might need of all the kinds.
One of the biggest Salvation Army thrift stores out there. The store is actually inside a vintage building over a century old. Either a livery area or a train stop. Store offers lots to choose from. Certain donated items like electronics and stereos go fast.
It's a good cause and a good deal. Look for certain discount days or drop off a few bags of clothes or home goods for donation and receive a discount coupon.. My leaving only 4 stars was an oversight.. straight 5 stars for doing what you do..!! Our politicians should be using tax dollars to do the same but don't and won't.. Thank God for the Salvation Army..
It's good prices this place.
Prices are near what the item costs brand new for many things and most times the item has some defects or damage. Also make sure anything you buy here is washed good as I have seen Salvation Army donation bins at the dump in Surrey where workers pick things out of the landfill.
Good finds today
Clean store, lots of parking, friendly staff
Too pricy
Great sales. Like 50% off all clothing !What a AWESOME DEAL. Go on check it out you'll be glad you did!:))
Great for treasure hunting!
Great stuff, good prices, awesome sales.
Well organized and tidy ,seems to be a quick turnover of product . Always something new and interesting. Well staffed with staff being very helpful and good covid 19 protocols in place .Everyday is 10% of for seniors. Always like looking around this thrift store.
Good spot to find deals. Great prices and clean store.
Pretty good thrift store. Selection is usually less than nearby stores but prices are a bit better and staff are nice.
Amazing loved it
Big store in a centrally located building. Its one of those old New Westminster buildings (brick, high celings, spacious!) which makes the shopping/browsing experience more enjoyable. Inside is clean and they have proper COVID protocols, hand sanitizers, traffic arrows on the floor and a lady minding the exit door. Great selection on items as well.
Nicely located on Columbia in downtown New West. Paid street parking only but there is a handicapped parking spot right in front. Big store, nicely kept & well laid out.
Great selection of clothing and household items. I always find something. I love the 50% off days!
Amazing finds...
We've had bad luck with purchasing board games here; missing pieces etc. Kids were disappointed. Found some great books at great prices. I like the store, I've just had a couple of disappointments from the last couple of purchases (games/puzzles missing pieces) thus the 3 star rating.
