The staff seemed to be more interested in socializing with each other than actually doing their job. Not a huge selection of anything above a size Large (most of it looked like it was out of the children's section) and what was in bigger sizes looked old and ratty but mostly I was just turned off by the lack of customer service.

This was a surprising experience, from a couple of perspectives. I hadn't expected the individuals accepting/pricing incoming garments to be as young as they were, and hadn't expected to see the volume of shoppers that were there. The business knows their target market - mostly female, late teens to early twenties, and they are most interested in lightly worn, name brand garments. Men's clothing selection is quite limited, but given that women buy at least 3 times the volume of garments that men buy in the same period, this was expected. Racks and other fixtures are tight. There's very little walking space. Garments are sort of organized (but not colour-blocked). Overall, it has the look and feel of store where you would expect to find good prices, and you do. We brought in a full green bag of garments, had those that were out of their target appeal kicked back, and were fairly compensated for those they kept, all within an hour, on a Saturday afternoon.

Ha where should I start on this joke of an establishment, the fact they want quality clothes and say they want lots of men's stuff, then don't take any lots of name brands all worn once or twice couple pairs of high tops worth way lots of money but weren't even considered.... Save your time and money and go to value village next door Oh yes and don't forget brand new jeans never worn literally too big or I would keep them, was told oh well we're "very picky" 100 dollar jeans currently in store.... What a joke Also don't bring distressed clothing in because that can't tell the difference between wear and tare and that type of clothing...

Pretty good for buying stuff if you have some time to look around. However some stuff can be really overpriced just because it's a 'brand name ' . Even if it looks very worn. I have found some decent stuff. I won't ever bother selling here again though. I've brought brand new items in that I took the tags off and never worn and they told me due to 'wear' on the item they couldn't take it. Lots of the stuff I brought in was nicer than a lot of the stuff I'd seen in the store, I just didn't wear it anymore or stuff didn't fit. So not great for selling, unless you bring in all big brand names stuff I guess.

Never buy anything I bring in. Even items on their "wanted" list. Brought in brand new 90$ perfect condition womens black leather boots in a common size wouldnt even look at them. After 3 times of bringing multiple items in and receiving no offers on my items I just avoid this overpriced value village for what it is. They want designer clothing never been worn in a specific cut or style so they can charge double for it on the rack. No thanks

This is an amazing discounted place. I found some designer brands for a fraction of the cost. Even some really nice piece that I didn't have to dig to hard for. The only down side is that there is rarely more the one size for the item your looking for and some items are not great quality.

I lost my receipt but I still had the tag on. They said I could go and have a store credit instead. When I got there, the girl asked another staff and this staff looked at my item and just said no. You need a receipt. I told them that I called and the person who answered my call said it's okay but when I got there I just got a no? What am I gonna do with a clothing that unfortunately doesn't fit? At least few weeks before this happened, when I had to return an item with a tag on without a receipt, a staff said not worry as she could just look it up on the system. And yes, some staff aren't as friendly as the others. Been shopping here for years. If only the St James one was closer, I'd rather go there. I also agree with the other reviews about selling here. Might as well just sell at St James.

I am so frustrated after my experience today. I have a very important charity gala to go to for children’s hospital and came in to look for a dress. I tried on a dress and wasn’t completely sold on it but thought I would buy it and return it later should I find something else. I asked the cashier “what is your return policy?” All she said was within 7 days tag still attached. They also have a sighn that’s says returns within 7 days with tags still attached. An hour later I had found something else and went back to the store to make my return. The clerk said they didn’t do returns, exchange or store credit only. I pointed out what the sighn said and what the cashier had said and she said “oh there should have been another sign up”. I don’t understand why I am now out of pocket when I even went as far to double check what the policy was. Update: The owner contacted me personally in a very timely manner to apologized for what happened. She says she is going to teach her staff how to properly communicate the return policy and personally solved my issue.

I went in to sell some excellent condition under armour hoodies with zero wear and tear. Worn maybe twice. I took a look around and found less quality or comparable clothing for sale. The teenage girls working were all busy trying to do some applications on their phones and inevitably rejected the items but could not tell me specifically why. I would give 0 stars if that was possible. All around poor management and bad vibe. Would not return.

Usually a great place to shop! Lately I have been finding more and more that clothing has stains or tears, which has stopped me from shopping there as much. It seems the quality of items has gone done due to those issues. Otherwise the staff is great and friendly, and there is some good selection to be found. Prices are obviously unbeatable and I like that i can also bring in items to sell when I go sshopping I do recommend calling ahead to see what the time is like for them to go through items you may be selling

Every time I go there I get terrible service, and it's usually by the same employees, I'm a regular costomer there as well as I sell my clothes, and every time I get one girl she doesn't even look through my stuff she just shuffles it around and says everything isn't in style. This place is a joke. I spent two hours looking over the 63 items I packed up to make sure they were in great condition. I dropped off my stuff and received a message 8 minutes later telling me it was done being looked over... they choose 8 items (one that I know had a tiny hole in it... sorry I’m not sorry) Two if the items they took today were denied the last two times I brought them in (very contradicting, but glad they finally accepted them! LOL) and the rest was denied due to “wear and tare”. The staff clearly did not look through the bundle well enough as I have 23 items coming home with the tag still on and never worn. :)

Extremely unprofessional staff who would rather talk more than do their jobs, very frustrating. Having very unapropriate conversations. Also waited 40 minutes (i was told it would be done in 15-20) for 3 girls to go through my bag, wasn’t mad that they only found one thing, but they kept walking away from it and starting other bags of clothes before finishing mine. Had i known it would take so long i would have come back. Would much recommend the other location over this one. Maybe this location can learn a thing or 2 from them....

Wouldn't own up to their mistake on a typo. Ad said it was a size 7 but it was an 8. Gave me a hard time when I tried to return it. Embarrassed me in the store then only gave me store credit. Don't worry, you can keep it.

I brought a massive box of name brand clothes including Guess, Banana Republic, Danier leather, etc., most of which were never worn. I got $9 for 3 items ... they claimed all the items were worn, yet there was a brand NeW, never worn pair of black Women’s guess jeans which they DIDNT TAKE! The false advertising with this establishment is ridiculous! They claim they take brand new items, that are in style; however, I have seen them selling Walmart, Sirens, and Stitiches items.
