In sure it's a good place...

Purchased a coat recently for a fair amount of money and in less than a month the coat started coming apart at the seams. The store told me they only refund purchases within 14 days. So I called customer service and they promised call backs from a manager twice. I did not receive any calls back. I have spent a lot of money at Laura/Melanie Lyne in the past 5+ years and will no longer be shopping at these stores.

We went into the store on Saturday morning and were approached by the sales lady saying that there were fantastic sales today. All our coats are on sale and as we were looking at a rack of coats she says all our sale coats are further down these ones are very expensive! Was she implying that we could not afford to purchase the more expensive coats? I feel she should of been more tactful with her approach and not judge people by appearances to say who can afford or not afford any item in the store. Not a good experience and won't be back there again!!!

I needed a dress for a special occasion. I haven't bought a dress in ages. I walked in to look around and they were very friendly. They helped me find a beautiful dress that I felt comfortable in. Matter of fact, they found many dress that fit perfectly that I wouldn't have picked or tried on. It was the best customer service I've had in a long time! Five stars for sure!!

My spouse had an extraordinarily terrible experience this evening at the Halifax Shopping Centre location and has been in tears since. She was looking for a dress for an upcoming wedding and was having trouble finding a size. The associate helping her was shocked when a dress didn't fit "oh, I didn't realize you were THAT big". My spouse was caught off guard by the interaction and then while changing, overheard the 2 associates (one a senior, the other likely in her 30s) talk about why she was even in their store and that she should be shopping in a plus-size store. Though she is not a plus-size woman, anyone would be immediately crushed by hearing something like this. Most people regardless of size are very sensitive in regards to their weight or size. Though no one should ever be commenting on another person's size, at least have the decency to wait until she has left the store should you choose to act this way at all. For two associates to be making comments like this is absolutely unacceptable and we will be reaching out to both management and corporate.

This line of clothing never fails to please. The designs are feminine and flattering to a range of body types. Jessica is an unbelievably helpful manager/sales associate. She has been a memorable part of my shopping experience on multiple occasions and primarily the reason why I make the time to go into a store vs shop online. Additionally, Jessica provides honest feedback, knows the clothing line inside out, and makes the shopping experience highly enjoyable with her enthusiastic, engaged attitude.
