My 5 bridesmaids got their dresses here for my wedding (4 of one style and 1 of a different style). I was nervous and debated a long time before considering them because of the spotty reviews. We had a great shopping experience and had the store to ourselves for about 2 hours even though it was walk-in Tuesday. We ordered the dresses early February and received them about 4 months later. I was EXTRA careful throughout the ordering process to make sure all of the dress styles, sizes, colours etc. were accurate. The dresses came in a few days later than they had estimated, but my wedding was July 22 so we still got them about a month before. Everything fit perfectly (true to the fit in the store) except my sister's dress was too tight (the only dress we ordered in that style). My mom and sister went to a seamstress who said that the dress couldn't be altered to fix the problem (no extra material at the seams and the zipper was on the side). My mom and sister ended up going to the store 3 weeks before the wedding to ask them for help because we didn't know what to do (even though I told my mom there was no way they would help them based on all the bad customer service reviews I read online). Guess what - Hush measured my sister and confirmed that her measurements had not changed. They also measured the dress and confirmed that the dress seemed to have the right measurements for the size advertised. In spite of that - they reassured my frantic mother and ordered my sister the exact same dress in a bigger size. They rush ordered it and it came in 2 weeks later! So I'm not sure what happened to all the people with very sour experiences. Maybe we were lucky. Maybe the fact that we approached them for help rather than to accuse them made a difference. Maybe it was different because the manager happened to be there when they went... I'm not sure. But my experience with Hush was great and I hope more people take the time to share their positive experiences so that reviews show a truer picture of the overall customer experience.

I've dealt with Hush twice for 2 different bridesmaid dresses for 2 weddings I was in within the last year. Both dealings with Hush for these dresses was a nightmare. Tried on a few dresses for the 1st wedding, decided on one with a lace top alteration, $20, (which when I got the dress was not even sewed properly and left a large lace bulge at the top). Went to pay on a different visit and was charged over $200 for a dress that was $90 before "custom alterations" and tax. Was charged an extra $40 for custom cut and colour, neither was true nor asked for. I was livid but did not want to cause an issue to Hush or the bride, so I paid the money. The dress then almost did not arrive in time for the wedding, even though it was ordered 10 months before the wedding and we were told it would only take 4 months tops to come in. It actually took almost double that. The bride had to harass Hush to get answers as to where our dresses were, no-one at Hush had a clue, nor did they ever call her back with answers. When they finally arrived we were told the belts (ordered at the same time as the dresses) were in too, we go to the store, only to find none of the belts that we were told were in, actually were (3 total had to be "emergency ordered"). When they did finally arrive 2 out of 3 of them were falling apart (beading coming off, slopping stitching etc). Bride complains about the recurring issues and after much back and forth, is given a $100 gift card, which compared to the money the 3 of us spent there, was nothing. She used it on 2 pieces of jewelry which turned green within days, but I digress. Second dress dealing with Hush, I did rather begrudgingly due to my first experience with them, but wanted to keep the bride happy and do believe in second chances. I should have stood firm and not got my 2nd dress here, because this experience was just as bad as the first. Dress fitting went well. She did try to push getting a larger size and alterations from their affiliated tailor to all of us, none agreed which she didn't seem happy with. Our risk not theirs. Dresses were paid and ordered on the spot, no excessive charges this time, we all feel that everything went great. Dresses come in a few months later on time. We go to pick them up only to find 2 of the dresses were ordered/stitched wrong. 1 was to go to someone out of town but the bride wanted to send & told hush this, but hush ignored & got the dress shipped there anyway. 1 of the girls dresses was supposed to be a lace V neck that stops just above cleavage, it showed up with barely a V neck that stopped just below her neck, which looked absolutely ridiculous. Also a belt we were told was in, was not, causing another unnecessary 4th visit. We leave as the associate there at the time did not/could not seem to want to help us. Bride calls Hush a few weeks later looking to exchange the dress for another (she would happily pay the difference and was being more than reasonable considering the mess hush had her and her bridesmaid in). She was in the area with the bridesmaid in question and the butchered dress but Hush would do nothing without an appointment. Bride suggests simply bringing the same style dress from the fitting area downstairs, upstairs to the main store so it could be tried on and to compare to the one that was wrongly stitched, Hush wouldn't even do that and was very rude about it. No compensation provided by Hush and barely an apology (after being very argumentative). Dress was then taken to a tailor not associated with Hush, that surprise surprise can't altered it because of the way it is awfully stitched, so now the bridesmaid in question is left with a ridiculous looking $180 dress with no compensation. In a nutshell, poor customer service, they are argumentative and begrudgingly give forced apologies and don't even try to resolve situations. They charge way too much for dresses that are assembled quickly & cheaply in China. Will never return and hope you all save yourself the endless hassle of purchasing a bridesmaid dress here!

Excellent customer service!! Both ladies that were in the shop were very accommodating of our rushed dates and were both very professional. They spent a lot of time with each girl putting on jewelry and shoes to complete the dresses. I would highly recommend this shop to any girl looking for beautiful dresses and great customer service.Thank you so much for making all of us girls ranging from sizes 2-16 feel beautiful.

Was optimistic at first but after a double booking and loss of my appointment due to "technical issues" then being promised to be contacted we left. It's been three days since and upon calling back I was treated quite rudely and insinuations that I was lying about what I was told on Saturday, as well as being told that there was absolutely no way to aid me in the slightest I was left angry and with nothing accomplished. I would rate this store even lower if I could. Never going back

I love shopping here! Bought a dress but I decided to return it for a store credit (they don't offer refunds, so think before you buy). They have a great selection of clothes but some items are overpriced. They recently had a discount draw from 10% to 50% off your whole purchase which was great but everything would be a final sale. I wish they had a better exchange/return policy.

Went to Hush to find Bridesmaid dresses for my wedding party. Mel our consultant was super helpful! We picked out long chiffon dresses with cute glam belts. What I love about the dresses is that they're not your typical BM dress that ends up being at the back of your closet. I know that my BMs would be able to wear their dress again. The boutique is small, cute and comfortable. They only take appointments and they book up fast so call well in advance.

Can not recommend this highly enough. First, GREAT service from employees. They know how to help a bride get the best fits on different body types in a way that doesn’t make anyone feel left out or silly. Kind, knowledgeable and efficient. Second, pricing is out of this world affordable. So many dresses at affordable price points and the fact that you can make adjustments for like $15 to make the dress fit you best is unreal. Talk to Kim if you want an incredible customer service experience but all the staff have really impressed me. 10/10 would Recommend.

Cynthia was encouraging and patient with a young lady that prefers jeans to ball gowns. We all had a great time. Hannah left with 2 gowns!!

Horrible. They double booked an appointment my fiancée had, cancelled on her (while she was there) while saying to come the following week, only to be called a liar when she called the 2 days before the new appointment. Phone calls were never returned, more than likely due to them shutting the store down when they have a "potential client". Avoid this company. There are other dress shops who are MUCH more deserving of your money.

I been shopping at hush and shout for many years. I love the clothes! Also, the staff is amazing (and that means all of them), friendly and soooo helpful. You can never fail shopping here, and the quality of the clothing is lasting. Also the dresses are soo pretty, baggy or fitting. It is most of the time the first and last store I go in if I am looking for a dress for a wedding, outfit for the office, or just a casual cozy outfit.

Had a appointment at 10am to look for bridesmaid dresses, an hour before the store was open. You guys didn't even show up to open the store, we waited 40 minutes and nothing. From all the terrible things I have been hearing I am honestly not surprised. Your service is terrible and you will definitely not be getting mine. Get it together you guys a joke.

Another one of my girlfriends is getting married this year and being one of her close friends, she asked for my advice on where to shop for bridesmaids dresses where they have a great selection and an awesome price point. I told her about my experience early this year with Hush! One of my other friends chose her BM dresses from here and our group loved the dress picked out not only for the style but the price point too! So my gf took my recommendation and looked to Hush! I'm so glad she did! You guys have some of the best dresses and the best prices in the City! I get another pretty bridesmaid dress that doubles as a dress I could wear again and again!

First of all, when we went in the girl that was “helping” us was completely indifferent to the fact we were in there. If we are expected to schedule an appointment for shopping in a store, it would be nice if the attendant was actually helpful. When we got the dresses 2 came in the wrong size, which they said was our fault. But again, if the attendant had actually been helpful she would have known what size to order and not left it up to us. One girls dress was the wrong colour and when she called to figure out a solution they just told her it was a custom colour and can sometimes come a shade lighter, and essentially it was just too bad for her. 1. They did not tell us that it was a custom colour, never mind the fact that they can come a different colour then you expect. 2. It was a completely different colour. Not just a shade lighter. For $200 dresses we are all extremely disappointed with the service we got and how poor the customer service was.

I was part of a bridal party of 5 girls. We went there on their drop in day , it got quite busy and there was a lot of people and bridal parties there and only 2 or 3 employees to help everyone , but we didn't have our own appointment so I understand that completely but they should have more people. We ordered and paid for our dresses end of Feb beginning of March. We received our dresses late in the day, 3 days before the wedding !! To me that's crazy . They said it was our fault since we ordered too late. Three of the bridesmaids(myself included) needed to get alterations as the dresses didn't fit and were also too long. To get that done 2 days before the wedding is difficult. They had a good selection but these dresses are not "custom fitting" so be careful with that. A lot of extra stress on a bride. We didn't know if we'd get them in time. Very disappointed.

My girlfriends and I weren't able to figure out when we could have an appt to check out their collection for our bridesmaids dresses, so (upon suggestion by one of the sales girls the day prior) we came back for a walk-in. The experience was great. Explanations about the dresses and the ordering process were thorough and clear...And there were many dresses and customization options! The combination of super helpful sales staff and knowing what we were looking for made for a very efficient experience. Glad we were able to make it work and that they had the walk-in option! :)

My wife tried to return a dress she bought only to be told that “we have a strict 14 day return policy” it only being the 15th day plus we had purchased many items and only needed to return the one item, seems pretty sad. Horrible customer service. Would never come back

I haven't physically been to Hush Clothing but I can only say that my experience with ordering my bridesmaid dress over the telephone has been a positive one. I live in El Paso, Texas and will be a part of my cousin's wedding party in Winnipeg, Canada this summer. I had to call Hush to place the order and Mel who I spoke with, was very accommodating to me and very helpful when it came down to figuring out which size would suit me best. If she was this great over the phone, I can only imagine how much more so my experience would have been had I only been able to come to the store in person. Thank you Mel and the rest of the team for your help and for making it possible for someone like me who lives out of the country to order my dress without any issues.

We came in for our appointment, our consultant obviously didn’t have time for us as she was rude and unhelpful. 2/5 of the bridesmaid dresses didn’t come in the right sizes and they said that it’s not there fault if people gain weight! 2/5 were the wrong colour yet again it was obviously not there fault. We called to complain and to try fix the problem as the wedding is one month away and the customer service informed us it wasn’t there problem anymore! Great place. So happy I went there! Who doesn’t want unhappy bridesmaids! Thanks for making my special day so much more special Hush Collection.

They have horrible service when it comes to buying dresses all 3 of mine either came wrong or in the wrong size and made for sad bridesmaids !! They more or less argued with me instead of try and offer something to fix the problem! Horrible horrible service ! I would suggest any other bridesmaid salon .

My first time shopping in this store and it was very disappointing. I bought a sweater for my daughter and specifically asked the sales person if I could return it. She said yes but failed to mention it would be an exchange only. In my mind a return means a refund. The next day I went to return the sweater and was informed of the exchange only policy. I explained that I specifically asked if I could return the sweater and they refused to make an exception to their policy. I believe stores should strive for customer service over policy. When I looked around to see if there was something I could exchange for myself the largest size the carry in the store is a large and therefore most clothing did not fit. Obviously this store is catering to a select clientele. Would not recommend supporting this store.

We booked a appt at hush for a bridesmaid dress. Because of covid we didnt know what to expect. We were verh pleasantly surprised. The staff were very professional, curtious and nice. We were also happy to see that we could interchange the dress. Basically design your own dress. It was such a fun and pleasant experience . Took about a month for the dress to be made. Prices are very reasonable. Thanks for making this experience fun.

Good value for product, but poor, lacklustre customer service. The person helping us out was monotone, not helpful, and awkwardly rude - did not seem like the appropriate personality type for the industry. 3/4 Hush experience have been this way. The product is good, just step up the customer service. Next wedding experience: dresses took 5 months and came in two weeks before the wedding. My dress was a size smaller than I ordered, which made it very tight and uncomfortable. I should have looked straight away to see if the situation could be remedied, however 2 weeks with a custom colour I thought it was hopeless. When i notified the manager about the situation she said she would provide me with a $50 GC for the hassle, but when I inquired on how/when to pick up, she stopped replying to emails.

My friend and I were looking for dresses for a wedding we had this past weekend so we decided to check out this store. It's a very cute, tidy little store, with a large variety of clothing. They also sell shoes and accessories for your convenience. The ladies working here were very helpful and they were quick to find your size or make suggestions that they thought would work for you. Great service! The one thing that worried me was the actual product. Both of our dresses ripped the day of the wedding, one by the zipper, the other split up the bum. Not sure if this was coincidental. Because this was my first purchase here and the service was fabulous, I will be back for another shopping trip, to try another article of clothing before I make any judgements!

Terrible customer service. Bridesmaids dresses came in the wrong sizes and when asked about it they claimed a bridesmaid "gained weight." 0 compensation for this error and terrible communication with fixing this problem that they made.

I am writing today to express my disappointment with part of our order. When we placed the order I was initially very nervous about one of the dresses as I expressed to the sales people that one of my maids is out of town and would not be able to try on the dress prior to ordering. I was assured that if we gave the measurements that the size would be ok with only minor potential alterations. This was definitely NOT the case. The dress was picked up and I spent the extra cost to ship it to my maid in ON. Upon her receipt of the dress it is WAY too big on her. Her measurements that were provided were 100% accurate and the dress she was orderered is at least 2 full sizes too big. I am now dealing with the stress of resolving this situation 2 months before my wedding and it is very upsetting. I sent an email 6 days ago to ask if there could be some kind of compensation as we are going to have to spend substantially more on alterations now and have yet to receive a response from anyone. I must say I am very disappointed with the lack of communication... be carefull girls something is obviously off about their size chart...

Be careful what you order from HUSH! 6 bridesmaids dresses ordered took 2+ months to arrive and when they did they were awful (Zellers clearance rack awful). They were 2 sizes too big,(the store added an inch as well as the manufacurer) and the store says the manufacturer took the liberty of making them to suit the summer line, which meant that the style and design of the dresses was wrong. Even the tailor that HUSH uses for alterations said that the dresses could not be corrected to look like the dress that was ordered. This happened 3 1/2 weeks before the wedding. With a promise that they could re-order a different dress and have them delivered in 10 days,the bride thought she'd take a chance and then as the girls were trying to select another dress the store recommended that they try somewhere else because there was no 10 day guarantee. Money was returned in full but nothing can rid the bridal party of the stress! Hush should not be involved in the wedding scene and they need to change manufacturers. So if you order a dress in the Fall, be prepared to have the design changed and maybe even the material (you might get velvet). Thanks to LeChateau for saving the day:)

Excellent experience. After searching all over the city for the colour dresses I wanted (dusty rose) for my bridesmaids and having no luck, I found 4 different shades that would work at Hush. They have so many colour options. When the dresses came in (only 2 months after ordering!) the colour was exactly what I was looking for. The girls all picked different styles that worked for them and we were able to make all the dress styles floor length. The dresses were all under $200 and I even ended up ordering a dress for my wedding shower from them. Great service and I would for sure order from them again. I loved that they had appointments so that me and my girls were the only ones in the store to try on dresses. The dresses seem to be really good quality too. I’m looking forward to seeing them all on my wedding day.

I had a lovely experience at Hush. A friend and I both needed dresses: I needed a dress for my wedding shower, and she needed a black dress to be in my bridal party. The associate was excellent helping us both at once. She found many black dress options for my friend to try on, and many different styles that she thought fit my style since I was more open. We both tried on at least five styles, and both left with dresses. This is my go-to shop for formal occasions!
