I've been to EPH Apparel Winnipeg as both a groomsman and a groom and both experiences were extraordinary. Even with my wedding prep suffering endless complications due to the Covid-19 pandemic they have efficiently and effectively adapted along the way to make it all as easy as possible. Even with my wedding party being unusually complicated to begin with as it involves women's suits with skirt bottoms (try finding that elsewhere but EPH made it happen). I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a suit and would tell any wedding party to look nowhere else.

Staff was friendly and were accomodating when the measurements were wrong the first time and had to be redone but the suit took 8 weeks to arrive and after alterations and the dress shirt having to be remade, it ended up looking worse than the first time around, the pant legs were shortened 2 inches more than what was discussed and the groin was down to the knees. The dress shirt that was supposedly remade seemed like nothing was done to alter it, the shirt was too short to be able to be tucked in to the suit it's self. The suit over all is very good quality but for the money that was spent you would expect it to fit better than it did. I wouldn't recommend it for your wedding attire but if you have the time to get it remade a few times then I could see how it might be worth it.

The suit fit perfectly. The environment was very welcoming as soon as I came into the store. In addition, the fitter for my suit had a good amount of knowledge for trends and made great suggestions. Also once i received my suit it fit perfectly and i did not need to change a thing. Finally they have a great range of prices for their suits. I've been getting my shirts and suits tailored by Eph Apparel ever since they were just a small shop in Confusion Corner. To date, I have gotten tailoring done by a handful of other tailors in Winnipeg and around the world, and none of them can compare to Eph. Not only are the prices reasonable and the material is decent quality, but somehow, Eph tailors my shirts and suits to be comfortably fitting. Even Harry Rosen, who charged me 8 times the price for a dress shirt, fit way too tightly and made it uncomfortable to move. Eph gets it right every time!

I've ordered clothes from Eph Apparel on two occasions. My experience is summed up by poor quality control and even worse customer care. I would recommend staying away unless you like to play roulette with your time and money. The first time, the suit came out great. I loved the fit and I was looking forward to the next chance I had to order something else. This is the only reason I'd give them more than 1 star. They had a sale on shirts a few months later and I eagerly put it an order. The shirt came out too big, even with the same exact measurement profile from before. No big deal though, right? They have their "Flawless Fit Guarantee." Except it comes with invisible print and rules that make it anything but a guarantee. I could get over the inconsistent quality if it was easy to fix. But I can't trust Eph Apparel to see that I'm taken care of.

This was my husbands first suit from Eph for a wedding and it was arranged for him to get fitted in Edmonton. The suit came and fit perfectly. We traveled to Winnipeg for the wedding and forgot the tie!!! We informed Eph about our crisis and needed a tie in short time and they arranged it promptly and truly went above and beyond to make a stressful situation much less stressful! I've played sports my entire life and it's always been impossible for me to find close that fit my body properly, often times having to go up multiple sizes just to fit my thighs. The team at EPH took my measurements and the suits I got fit like a glove. Great initial service (tailor came to my apt to measure), and the fabric is great. But really poor fit when I got the final suit, I had to make big adjustments to my jacket for it to be how I requested it (slim fit). Suits are made in China and have a long lead time, so I could not risk having a "remake", which they do offer. They reimbursed only $100, but the changes were over $300. Looking back, I could have started the suit process a couple months earlier to allow for a remake, and they also seem to do better with "classic" fits vs. slim fits.

What stands out to me is not the fabrics, cut or location proximity (all of which is v.attractive). It is the caliber of customer service which more than justifies the price point. Kudos to your team Andrew, was pleasure working with the staff @ EPH Winnipeg

Poor quality suit (bad fit and poor quality materials). Why make a custom suit when all the measurements of the final suit are off? Jacket felt bulky and over-sized and pants were too long. I had to bring everything in for tailoring and when I sent Eph Apparel the bill for the tailoring work I was not reimbursed for the full $75/suit they promised. They only refunded $40+ for two suits. It is not even worth my time to further reach out to their customer service. Would not recommend and would not use them again. I really enjoyed the initial suit measuring experience though. But the quality of the final suit did not match lower priced, off the rack, alternatives.

My hubby and two of his groomsmen got suits for our wedding from Eph. The whole experience was excellent and the suits were well worth the price. My husband lost quite a bit of weight from when he bought the suit to when it came in, and Eph was able to remake the entire suit so it fit within one month of the wedding (for free). THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING IT WORK! One small downside is my husband split his pants near the end of the night but it was because he did (as he calls it) a "power stance," which no one should be doing in a suit. I blame the suit wearer, not the suit, for that.

Great fitting experience then the great experience ended. Our wedding party had the groom's suit six additional suits. One was fantastic and shipped to Florida with zero issues and was actually received before ours in Winnipeg. Two suits were without issue. The other three all had problems. One suit was. A complete disaster and was altered three times with it looking terrible on the wedding day and a solution of offering a different custom blazer that didn't match the suit as a way to make it right, which makes no sense. Then other two suits, mine and the groom's literally were falling apart. We didn't wear them until the day of the wedding because we wanted them perfect. They had buttons (plural) fall off the morning of the wedding with us scrambling to get them reattached in time and seams come out. The lining wasn't even stitched completely in one of the suits. Terrible the day of the wedding to be worrying about fixing a suit that should have been in perfect condition out of the suit bag. Incredibly disappointed with the final product.

I was a groomsman in a wedding and required shirt (and tie) and pants to be fitted for the wedding. Customer service here was great in store. The original fitting session was great and they were able to make time for me to come in dispite me forgetting to make an appointment initially. Where this store lacks is in follow up on the completion of the orders. Granted our order for the a bit under a time crunch (we still had a 6-8 week wait which is expected for custom tailored items). When the orders did come in, originally the groomsmen did not receive their ties. Which was to be included in the initial order. Second, one of the groomsman got their final adjustments made on the wrong shirt. So a follow up appointment had to be made to get this resolved. These maybe minor issues but they still sour an experience overall. Attention to these minor details can make or break a retail experience especially for a wedding arrangement.

I went to Eph Apparel because they were the only ones who could get me a custom suit on short notice. I went in on June 6 to customize my suit and get fitted and it was in by July 7, ten days earlier than they said it would be in and in plenty of time before my wedding on July 23rd. The suit fits perfectly and needs no additional tailoring at all. The guys in the showroom are always welcoming and very professional. I highly recommend you check them out for any formal or professional clothing you may need!

This is my favourite and best fitting suit, for the best price. Great customer service. The pants didn't initially fit, but it was my fault for making poor measurements. I went to the tailor, who made the correct measurements for me. I sent in the new measurements, and i had a new pair of pants sent to me within days. Highly recommend this company to anyone.

I had a fantastic experience with the service from the gentleman that helped me pick out my new custom suits. Once they arrived by courier, they came in a very professionally put together package. I brought them to the store, and they made some minor adjustments in a couple of days, and the suits feel amazing. I will never buy off the rack or go anywhere else for my outfits! Highly recommend for anyone! Very reasonably priced as well!! Won't break the bank on suits that fit properly!

I could've bought off the rack that fit better than this - and it would've been cheaper to boot! I've never had such poorly fitting dress clothes in my life. Not only do they not fit (even after being altered), but the fabric is cheap and itchy and they returned them to me wrinkled and not pressed. If you're in the custom menswear industry, your customer should not have to press their suit after it's been returned from alterations. If I'd had time before the wedding, I would've dropped them off to be dry cleaned - that's how bad it was! I know that COVID 19 has complicated how they do business, but the customer service has been terrible. I was never notified when my suit and alterations were done... I had to try and get a hold of them (not easy) and even when I did, I got to deal with unhelpful people trying to arrange a time (at their convenience, not mine) days before the wedding to pick up my clothes. I will never wear these clothes again, and I will never shop at EPH again. Save yourself a headache and buy your dress clothes anywhere else then here! Even 2nd hand is likely better then EPH.

Suit ordering process was very straightforward, lots of modern patterns and colours to choose from. Had an in-person visit for measurements and selection of fabrics, which felt super premium. Waited a long time for the suit to arrive, but they let me know the time period it would be. Suit arrived in a wrinkled bag in the mail, fit like it was made for a man twice my size. I took it to a tailor and he said I should return it, its so off it would cost a fortune to fix it. EPH offered to fix it with online photos, but if their team measuring it in person couldn't get it right, I didn't trust it to be done well digitally. Got a refund. The price was great for a custom suit, but don't order one if you're in a rush or have no window for alternations.

Professional services, the representative assigned to me was very knowledgeable and helpful and explained things in great detail. My only issue/complaint was the lack of consistency in choices and customization. There would be certain products in which they can provide in a million colours or styles, but others would be lacking. But that aside i would thirdly recommend this enlistment and would go back again. It’s at 4 stars as I haven’t received my order yet, and will grade accordingly once I have tried it on when it’s ready.

The care and time that they put into ensuring that your suit fits perfectly to your body is like nothing else you can get for that price. I have ordered a number of shirts from them over the years as I wear them everyday and not only do they fit perfectly, they last after a number of dry-cleanings as well. If you're looking for something that will ultimately be your best fitted shirt or suit you will ever wear, definitely check them out!

We did not have a good experience with EPH at all. They had reassured us that a dark lining would not show through on a lighter suit...and when all the suits arrived the darker design FULLY showed through. This is something a company should know BEFORE putting through an order. Because of the reorder, the suits had arrived very last minute(only 2 days before the wedding). Some of the measurements were done incorrectly which resulted in pants being too small...how does this even happen?!?! On top of it all, the grooms pants ended up splitting on the seam on the wedding day....these suits are cheap. Save your money and go somewhere more reliable.

First time custom suit buyer and the difference in fit from anything else I've worn is outstanding. Fit like a glove, looked great and showed up on time despite my originally selected fabric being out of stock. Don't have any feedback on the quality and durability as it won't be worn until my wedding, but for people like me who only wear suits a few times a year for weddings and events, EPH hits a great price vs. quality spot in the market. It won't have the quality of a high end suit, which is not what I'm in the market for anyways and the fit, customization options and look are fantastic. Service at the main Winnipeg store was good. All the guys I dealt with had good advice, were friendly and made the experience enjoyable.

Very unhappy with the quality of work. Will not recommend Eph apparel. Will never visit again nor will recommend anyone. The fitting is pathetic. Had to return the garment and get it redone. Still the same mistake. I literally gave up. Just wasted my money. Secondly having the tailoring unit in china is for your benefit, not for the benefit of the customer. why are you charging us for the shipping. That’s not accepted at all. Your price should have all the overheads included. Does KFC or Mac D charge a separate fee for slaughtering charges when you by fried chicken / burger.

NEVER buy a suit from EPH apparel! Their suits are the perfect combination of poor quality materials and complete incompetency in every aspect of tailoring. The customer service is also very resistant to admitting their mistake and more importantly, refunding your purchase price. I went in to be measured by their travelling tailor for my brother's wedding approaching in two and a half months. It took them 2 months to make a 3-piece suit that was a horrible fit in every way. The sleeve was extremely short (SEE ATTACHED PHOTO) and the shoulders were too broad. The best thing I can say is that the jacket was only slightly too long. The level of mediocrity displayed by their "professional" tailors is appalling! When I contacted them about them about this, they tried to delegate their poor workmanship as "part of the process of getting a tailored suit" and recommended I get the adjustments done at a local shop they recommend. The local shop said that the suit was unfix able! Had an absolutely horrid experience! I ended up returning the suit and buying one off the rack (which fit like a glove compared to the workmanship of Eph Apparel). All in all, EPH is perfect for those who wish to waste both their money and time on a suit that has a horrible fit and will arrive late. Apart from causing this inconvenience, the customer service did not even have the decency to cover the shipping cost.

As a person with dwarfism it's incredibly hard to purchase clothes off the rack. Eph apparel has made my grad suit, and work attire. Everything that's been made has fit me like a glove. I couldn't be happier with the time frame and the whole process from start to finish. I'm proud to wear clothes that not only look great but they help give me a confidence knowing I look fabulous. First time having a suit tailored. Was welcomed with a warm reception and a friendly staff. The fitting was quick and the employee was well informed and did well to inform me as to the process. The suit came fairly quick and fit like a glove. Most of all, for such a great fit and great looking suit, it was very affordable. All of my friends have had similar experiences and I can't wait to go back and look at another one this summer.

Like your typical guy, I am used to buying suits off the rack and having them fit "pretty well" because they're standardized and unless you fit the standard, you'll likely end up paying more to have it tailored and all of a sudden it's twice the cost. At EPH, they bring off the rack prices and the quality experience of made-to-measure together for a truly incredible experience. The first night I wore my new suit, I received a plethora of compliments ranging from the fit to the style and I was really impressed with the quality of material at the price I paid. If you're feeling nervous about made-to-measure like I was, don't be! Go by the store and check it out for yourself, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, in a no-pressure environment unlike the commission-based off the rack places. Lastly, if you're concerned that with a made-to-measure you may gain a bit of weight and then have an unwearable suit, don't! Their flawless fit guarantee allowed me to go in when the jacket started feeling a bit tight, and they took care of it with their in-house tailor in record time for an important event.

I'm a casual guy, so I really like the untucked look, and these shirts have a lot of style. I've have bought several suits (including my wedding suit), shirts, extra pants over the last few years. Each time I have had great, hassle free customer service (special shout out to Leo). I live far from Winnipeg, and Leo and the staff at Eph Apparel are very accommodating for out of town customers (whether it be for alterations, fittings, etc...) I never felt pressured to buy more (upsell). Leo was especially great in helping me make stylish choices. I will continue to bring my business to Eph Apparel in the future, and would recommend to all my friends, and anybody reading this review. I hope this helps someone who is undecided about Eph Apparel. I was not disappointed.

I am getting married in May so I needed to find somewhere to get a suit. There were lot of suggestions to choose from as well. Prices were all very similar in pricing. So it really came down to how our first impression was. We went on a Saturday and met Luke. Our first impression was amazing as Luke made it a simple and easy process. Never felt pressured one bit. Our second meeting with Luke was to get fitted and it went amazing. Through the whole process Luke and Eph apparel kept there words. There was a free tie to go along with the package and none of us saw anything that we wanted at the time. At the time of picking up our suits we had asked if we still could get the free tie and they were awesome with still allowing us to get our free tie. As for the suits they all fit perfectly with two of my groomsmen needing a slight adjustment in the shirt. My suit was good but I lost a lot of weight and when I asked if the free alterations would still be allowed even though it was more then 30 days Luke was very respectful to allowing us to come back. I would highly recommend going to Eph and dealing with Luke. Great experience and will definitely purchase more from them.

I had a good experience as I had came in with my son to update his wardrobe prior to him leaving to England. The staff although busy at time still maintained professionalism while catering to everyone which was nice. After walking through the process the suit had fit my son exceptionally once it had arrived (and the cost was a lot less compared to other retailers). We had purchased a 100% wool suit and were very pleased with the quality and softness. If you are a first time customer I recommend speaking to Sandeep as he was very knowledgeable in the modern day style of suits, and provided my son and I a very knowledgeable and great shopping experience. 4/5

My fiancé booked an appointment with Eph after being recommended by a relative so we could discuss his suit for our wedding. The whole experience with our consultant, Noah, was a complete let down. When we arrived, we could hear our salesmen coughing aggressively in the back room. He came out to start our consultation and seemed very uninterested in helping us. He showed us where the fabrics were and then walked away. When it came time to getting more details like seams, pockets, etc he was still coughing while talking to us and seemed like he was rushing to get us out. We truly did not think he wanted to help us and with the new variant blowing up in the city, we felt uncomfortable with the amount he was coughing. Once we finished talking about details, my fiancé discussed getting fitted and the salesmen discouraged us from doing so at the appointment. He was talking about how it would be at least another 30 minutes. We asked if we could come back the next day for a fitting and he said it was fully booked up. However, we heard the other salesmen in the room tell another couple that there was time to come back tomorrow and was scheduling them in. We decided we should take our business elsewhere because the salesmen did not seem to be taking us seriously and was actively not trying to make a sale. We felt ridiculous, overlooked, and ultimately decided to hold off and purchase from another company. Now after seeing all the poor reviews of the quality, we feel good about our decision to go elsewhere.

Went to EPH and was greeted by friendly, knowledgeable staff that really knew how to make the process of getting a suit quick and easy. Got the measurements done and when the suit came in I had gained a little weight and needed a couple tweaks, but it wasn't a problem because their tailor did it in no time. If you go there ask for Leo, he helped me out and he knows suits.

Custom liners are a great addition, you can even get shoes there now. From head to toe, they have you covered.

The staff was friendly but the quality and fit of the suit was awful. Had a suit made for a wedding. The material of the blazer was damaged the first time I tried it on so they sent it back. It came in the second time and the blazer seemed to have shrunk quite a bit. The wedding was in 4 days. Asked for a refund or store credit and was denied for either. Luckily I had a black suit I had bought from 5 years ago that was a much better fit and also similar to the wedding party so I was able to wear that instead. They asked that I returned for another alteration on the day of the wedding because it was their only slot available for that week which was pointless. I gave up on the suit and considered it a loss at that point and never bothered to return there. Save your self the headache and money and shop elsewhere.

First checked out their store in Winnipeg when they were relatively new. Clothes came about 8 weeks later as they said and everything fit very well except for a few of the shirts where I was not able to button up the neck. Ordered again in 2018 and my pants were not what I wanted them to be. Took them to the tailor to take advantage of the Flawless Fit Guarantee from Eph. Marco from their support team, worked through this with me and was nothing short of exceptional. Highly recommend these guys. If your clothes isn't what you expected, they'll make sure you're taken care of.

I chose EPH Apparel for suiting up my entire wedding party as well as for my own suit for the big day. Right from beginning to end we experienced excellent customer service and great attention to detail. During the group fitting we were treated to complimentary beers, which really made our group feel at home, something you don't see at Moore's, Tip Top or Tux rental shops. The fitting took no more than an hour and everything was set for our order to be submitted. Two of the groomsmen live out of province, so the EPH team set up individual fittings for those wedding party members as well and coordinated everything with our Winnipeg order. Once our suit order arrived there were minor sizing adjustments required, but EPH had the suits altered very quickly and after one adjustment the suits were fitting perfectly. All of the groomsmen were very happy with their suits and many people at the wedding commented on how amazing we all looked. I would highly recommend getting suited up with EPH for your big day!

Updated 03.01.21 After a recent visit I was once again impressed by the consistently attentive and engaging service I received. Alex was extremely helpful and efficient with both myself and my son. I brought in a few of my older EPH suits for re-tailoring as I have gained a some weight, and my son bought his second EPH suit. It was great to be able to comfortably wear and enjoy my suits again as the quality and look are amazing. My son's suit also came out better than expected. I often have friends and co-workers comment on my suits and I don't hesitate to recommend they visit the team at EPH. Another high five to Luke Erickson at Eph! I noticed one of my suit jackets appeared to have some "bubbling" around the buttons/waist area. This appeared to be new and happened over time. I am pretty cautious with caring for my suits (spot clean, no drycleaning & steam/hang in the shower) but didn't know how to fix this. It was very apparent and unfortunately made the jacket un-usable. I sent a note to Luke and he asked a few questions, and I sent him pics. My hope was that he had some ideas on how to fix, but he suggested that it was likely a manufacturing error. Without hesitation he offered to replace the jacket which was more than what I had expected. I truly appreciate the great service that Luke has provided me, and my son earlier (see below earlier review). Thanks again to Luke and the Eph team for standing behind your product and delivering consistently great service. ---------- My son and I came in to the Winnipeg store for his first bespoke suit for his grade 12 graduation. The manager, Luke Erickson was friendly, helpful and generous with his time and attention. Luke provided some terrific options and suggestions and we both genuinely appreciated his help. I’ve been getting my suits at Eph for several years now, and it was a nice experience to share with my son. I’m looking forward to coming back after his suit arrives to see how it looks and fits.
