I needed to find a bridesmaid dress in a certain colour but was under a time crunch as the wedding is in 4 weeks. Karen took the time to find me a variety of dresses off the rack in my size. She was patient, kind and understanding. She was able to find me a dress that fit comfortably and was in my budget. Great experience!!

I came into the store with covid19 precautions in place; not really expecting much, but to have a better idea of what I was looking for. Despite having to wear a mask, and having only 2 others with me, I felt I was still able to have that bridal dress shopping experience. To my surprise, I even found the one! I have very mixed feelings about David's Bridal. I ordered my bridesmaids dress online and was told that I did not include my suite number. Therefore, it could not be delivered and was sent back to the warehouse. In my email confirmation of my purchase, it clearly said I had put my full address. When I tried explaining this, the online store customer service representative was extremely rude and refused to even look into the issue further. I decided to re-order my bridesmaids dress at the store in Winnipeg which gave me little time to get it at this point. The girls at the store were great and ordered it as quickly as possible. However, when it came in, someone had ordered the wrong size! Luckily, they had my dress in their size but it was a size too big from what I needed so I ultimately had to pay for alterations. They also wanted to charge me extra for a rush fee on alterations even though I wouldn't have needed alterations at all had they ordered the right size. Although cheap, I would not recommend going here.

I am from Montreal and we don't have a David's Bridal in my province. My mom had ordered my dress through the store and had it shipped to me. It got lost in transit and Amanda (the store supervisor) spent an entire day on the phone trying (and succeeding) in finding it and ensuring it got to me as quickly as possible. It was a perfect fit. I have family in Winnipeg so I booked an appointment with David's Bridal for while I was visiting to bridesmaids dress shop and accessories shop as well. We had a sales associate with us at the start of the appointment but about halfway through Amanda took over and she was phenomenal. So polite and knowledgeable. She didn't pressure my bridesmaids into buying dresses and she showed me a variety of accessories like headbands and veils but didn't pressure me into buying anything either. Instead she wrote down what I tried on so I could go home and think about it. She made the experience wonderful and I would go back in a heartbeat

A couple weeks ago I came into David's Bridal and it was my first time looking at wedding dresses. Despite all the negative comments on here, they were the only bridal store open on a Sunday so I decided to check them out. My appointment could not have gone better! The lady helping me was super sweet and helpful! She gave me all her attention and let us wonder the store and pull dresses. I even had her tearing up when I knew I had on "the one". I ended up buying the second dress I tried on, but not once were they pushy on the sale! They were patient and made me feel special by letting me soak in the moment. Very enjoyable experience! What ever girl dreams of when wanting to find the perfect dress. Thank you David's Bridal!

This was by far the best bridal shop I had gone to for a grad dress. They were polite and not pushy like a previous place I had been. They were also able to work within our price range, as their dresses were less expensive and more reasonable in price. Definitely a very positive experience!

I went to David's Bridal to find a bridesmaid dress for my best friend's wedding. The bride wasn't able to join me for this appointment so I went by myself. Even though I was alone, I still felt like I was shopping with my girlfriends. The consultants were so amazing! They were able to help me narrow down what I was looking for and made some great suggestions. I ended up finding the perfect dress in no time! If there was an option for zero stars instead of 1 that's what I would give them. Wife tried on bridesmaid dresses, chose a dress and was measured. When the dress came in it was absolutely nowhere near the size of the one that fit perfect when trying them on. Then they tell you that any alterations cost money. What kind of god awful service is that? Are they purposely making it so that people have to pay extra for alterations? That's fraud as far as I'm concerned. Shop elsewhere I'm sure you will have better service.

I had a pleasant experience at David’s bridal (Winnipeg location). It was my first time trying on wedding dresses, ever. So I was just wanting to try on dresses to get a feel on which ones look best on me. There were so many options to choose from but Karen helped me narrow down my options that matched my vision. She also helped me when I wanted to try different dresses that were not my vision as well, but she was honest and I really appreciate that because it genuinely felt like she just wanted to help me find a dress instead of just making a sale. She did as much as she could to accommodate me and also allowed me to have time to think about my options. In the end; I found my dress!! Amazing experience, and even if I had to (which I don’t think I will), I would definitely go back and see Karen! Thank you David’s bridal ❤️

It was a wonderful experience. They were super friendly right off the gate. We picked out a couple dresses for my mom since with covid there is a limit of 5 right now. The lady found one my mother liked a lot. She tried it on and didn't need to try another because she fell in love with it. I wanted to book a bridemaids appointment for myself but they were all booked up that day but since my mom had time left in her appointment they let me try on a few as well. Honestly such great customer service and they made my mom feel like a queen. It was very lovely. Highly recommending them since I have had previous experience at another store which I shall not mention. But please don't hesitate to book with them since they have a great selection and even more amazing team.

Karen H was my consultant for my wedding dress appointment and she wants wonderful! She listened to what I did and did not want, and was extremely helpful and kind. I walked in without an appointment at 6pm on a Wednesday. I am not a dress or girly girl, and was way out of my depth. The staff there was extremely helpful and supportive. Karen came to help us. I had two of my girls with me, and we picked out 20 dresses for me to try on for my wedding. Every time I came out of the dressing room with a new dress on, there were 3 more dresses to try on that Karen or my girls had found. My wedding was a month a way, and my need of finding a dress was kind of immediate. Karen was helpful and patient and so very kind. After 3 hours, I was able to pick the dress I truly wanted! The little ceremony they do when you find the right dress brought tears to my eyes. I am so thankful for Karen's help!

We went in at 1:30 on a Saturday, it was a bit crazy in the change room area, but I had a great experience. I had my 5 year old son with us and the staff was so amazing with him, keeping him engaged(not their job at all, and wasn't expecting it at all) with the whole process. Our girl was fantastic, spreading her time with myself and another bunch of brides maids for another wedding. She was helpful in the change room with me getting in and out of gowns and overall was a wonderful person who understands short girl problems. I will strongly suggest this bridal salon to any bride I meet.

Everyone was just so wonderful. They accommodated me even though I arrived almost a full hour early, never pressured me either way, and only wanted to make sure I was purchasing something I would be happy with. I had called the day previous and put some pieces on hold and Sareeha was so lovely. She took the time to find them at all different stores and keep them on hold. I can't remember the staffs names for today (I'm sorry) but all 3 of the women I dealt with were just so so lovely. 10/10 would recommend and can't say enough good about the service I received.

I had bought my wedding dress at David's and had such excellent service. The ladies were so friendly, helpful and patience, I had no idea what kind of style of dress I was looking for! Then I wanted to buy my bridesmaids dress form here as well. That experience didn't go as well. The lady kept disappearing, I was pulling dresses and fitting my own bridesmaids?!? We decided to try one more time a different day.. We had Megan the General Manager the next time. She is the most energetic, nicest, helpful and friendliest person I've ever met! My sales person was Gulia. She was super helpful and friendly. She and another sales lady helped me find my perfect dress. It wasn’t part of it selection but then again the sales people just know! Trust them! I was in love with my dress. Was little out of my budget but it’ll be worth it. My only downside was that I had to go up couple sizes. Because that’s what you do for wedding dresses. And there was not much options in bigger sizes (22-24). But we found one! I was so happy to have come here for my dress. I was super nervous because it was a big step for me. These ladies work hard!! Great experience overall, only thing i would change is that the ratio of consultant to bridal party was not 1-1. My consultant was with another bride as well as myself. I have always had a great experience with David's Bridal. I bought my wedding dress from there 2 years ago (a bit a head of schedule) and I went in for my final fitting last weekend. I was so nervous thinking it wouldn't fit. They made me feel at ease, and low and behold my dress FIT!!! they helped my mom get into her MOB dress and made the experience great. Keep up the great work David's PS, you need more shoes available in a size 12 though LOL!

I went in today with a tight timeline and no idea of what I wanted. Karen was my stylist and she was amazing. I showed her a dress I kinda liked but thought for sure wouldn’t work. She convinced me to try it. Dress one was the one!!! Hahn came and pinned the dress for alterations and it was perfect. “I made her work HARD! Take the lining up, no leave it down, take half of it out...” She was lovely and so patient. I went in during Covid with no bridal party and without my mom. These ladies were a perfect support system. I’m so grateful for them. Thank you!

Had an unsalvageable alteration mishap happen a week before the wedding (alteration was done externally - not through David's bridal) and ventured in to see if it was possible to buy a whole new bridesmaid dress during a layover. My stylist Laura was phenomenal! It’s just a shame they were overbooked and she had to run around taking care of a number of different brides at once. Thankfully I had my mom and sisters to help me, and Laura was there as much as she could be, quick to make suggestions and get whatever I needed. I found a dress that I absolutely loved, but I didn’t want to make the immediate decision on whether or not it was “the one.” She took my measurements and all my information so that the dress would be on my file if I decided to order it. Sure enough, the next day I knew for sure that dress was the one, and it was just a phone call away! They ordered the dress for me, and I could not be more excited about it!

My mom and I came here for my first ever dress appointment. We had Karen as our consultant and she was the most incredible, loving and caring person I have ever met. She made me feel so beautiful. She is truly the best hype woman. The second dress we picked was the one! She was ready with belts, hairpieces and anything else I needed including some amazing advice for my wedding day. She was able to work within my VERY tight timeline and got me into alterations right away. She even booked my alterations to a date that she works so that she could ensure everything would be done correctly. My stylist was Tiana and she was super awesome and helpful. She easily stayed within my price limit, was always there when needed to change and found things in the store like shoes, veil etc that helped to make me picture myself in my dress! Fabulous! They took excellent care of me, every single time I go in there. I got my wedding dress there back in 2015. I needed extra length, and the sales rep *back then * Amanda *who is now the manager CONGRATS* went above and beyond for me back then and didn't disappoint this time around AGAIN!!! I was in there recently, (I was a little late getting my bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding) Once again, Amanda made it happen. She found the dress in a warehouse, and made sure it would be in on time for my sisters wedding. I will be forever grateful for this place. Thanks for everything <3<3

This store was the first place I began my search for a dress. I hadn't booked an appointment. I was greeted immediately, and Karen was assigned to me. In terms of style, I had a good idea of what types of necklines I liked, but I didn't have much of an idea of what I wanted in a dress overall. Karen was supportive, made suggestions, and very quickly thought of styles I might be interested in. She understood the look I was going after so well that I managed to leave with not only my dress purchased but also the veil and accessories! Karen, if you read this, thank you. I had Bridgette as my consultant today. She was awesome in helping me try on a bunch of wedding gowns without any pressure to buy it today. I was unsure of what or how I wanted to look like on my wedding day, but she was able to pull dresses that suit my style and the theme for my wedding. She willingly let my bridal party help out and was very accommodating when they wanted me to try a few dresses that they liked to see me in. All in all, it was a great first time in a big wig bridal store!

This would have been a 5 star review had one of my bridesmaids not been treated poorly when she went in. She made an appointment. And while waiting. Over heard the consultant speaking to the woman handling the appointments. The consultant said my bridesmaids name followed by “Oh. She’s not a bride, bump her, I’ll take the next bride instead” Not only is that incredibly rude, she made an appointment, she had just had much right to be there as a bride, her time is just as valuable. And so is her money. She was very important to a bride, who happened to be a customer of yours, and to say that loud enough for her, as well as any other customers to overhear, is downright unprofessional. As for my experience as a bride, up until that, I would have given a 5. My dress was beautiful. Reasonably priced. I myself received amazing customer service. But the best part for me, was the alterations, and the help I received there. I was feeling self conscious, and not only were they amble to add some lace in a place at the back that I was squeamish about, bout fixes the shirt in a spot just right, so that I felt amazing on my wedding day. Thank you. I wish your one consultant hadn’t soured my experience by treating one of my best friends so poorly.

After trying on a couple dresses for my wedding I decided on one, the sales associate informed me that "it looked a little weird in the back" because it wasn't the right size, And so she recommended I order the size down. Then when the size down came in I tried it on in store and it was way to tight, it wouldn't not button up completely and I couldn't sit down with it on. The dress was already at the top of my budget and I was told I shouldn't need to get alterations so I was okay with that, but when I found out the size issue I decided right aways I would just return the dress and pick a different one that didn't need alteration. I didn't want a dress that looked "weird" in the back or one that's to tight. When I asked if I could return the dress the associate helping me said that they can probably do something for me because this situation is not my fault and she saw my concern. I didn't have time to talk to the manager that day so I called a few days later and was informed that they will not give me a refund because it was more then 7 days since I bought my dress, I couldn't have known that it wouldn't fit me by then because I couldn't even try it on. I also was told a different return policy buy a sales associate then the manager, and the 7 day policy was not mentioned while purchasing. This was the companies mistake not mine, they have given me a credit but this dress was on the expensive end of my budget and if I where to pick another dress It wouldn't be as expensive. If they had just given me the refund I would have picked another dress from their store with no concern, but I do not appreciate how I have to pay for their mistake.

I went in there with less than 24 hours before my university convocation in an absolute panic last week. Alex took care of me right away. In twenty minutes I'd tried on about ten dresses and the only ones I liked were the ones Alex brought me. She finally brought in the dress I ended up choosing. It made me feel amazing, I looked awesome and had a lot of compliments, and it was a style and color I've never worn before. I can't wait to wear it again! There was pretty good selection, but it was so crowded and loud that it was hard to talk amongst us, (we were only 4 people), and just overall felt busy and rushed. There were 5-7 brides plus their people in front of one long mirror. I did like one of the dresses I tried on, but ended up going elsewhere for a better experience.

Although I bought my dress here I was disappointed with the experience. I fell in love with the dress but wasn’t a fan of the store. I found 7 gorgeous dresses in the “inspiration area” but they only had 3 I could try on. I could make the size 16 samples work so I was very disappointed by the limited options. I was disappointed as David’s bridal advertises extended sizing as well as petite options but they only had a very limited sizing selection. I found the store very chaotic which made it difficult for me and my party to be invested in the moment. Additionally, the sales transaction left a bad taste in my mouth as I was told I would need to order a crinoline within the next month in order to get it for my wedding in September 2020. This was obviously untrue and was ridiculous as my I was told my dress will be in by February 2020 at the latest. Overall my consultant was very nice and did the best she could given the chaos of the store. I found a beautiful dress at the end of the day but David’s Bridal is not the place to go if you want to feel special.

They also were able to help one of my brides maids just a week out before the wedding to make further alterations on the dress due to pregnancy. Good service up till the point you buy... I bought my wedding dress and my bridesmaid dresses there. They had a sale at the time and any of my girls that went to order and get measured when I wasn't present in the store my bridal party was not given the sale price, when I called to find out why the response was "they did not ask for the sale price." Really.... really? I had to fight with them to get the price adjusted on 5 out of 8 dresses. Almost all of the girls needed alterations to their dresses, also I need some for mine. Only the girls who brought in their own sizes seemed to get correctly fitting dresses. As a bride I expected to have some alterations most off rack sizes need to be touched up, but I assure you I am not one of those brides who is making an effort to lose weight and the dress is comically big on me, and I'm plus size. You can use the argument that because I'm not a standard size I wouldn't expect to fit something off the rack but I had 2 of their dresses fit me like a glove in store and clearly whatever they ordered was no where near that size. I have a hard time believing that the majority of my girls have drastically changed size especially since there seems to be a correlation with the girls who brought in their own sizes getting the correct size, and the girls who were sized in store needing alterations. My advice if you go here, bring your own measurements, check the measurements they order, double check the measurements, check the measurements again when you get the item. Hold off on buying your dress until your girls buy their dresses. The bridal dress is the "big sale" so they will be nice and attentive until you buy. Even if you find the dress of your dreams jerk them around with the sale until all your girls are taken properly care of or they honestly will treat your bridal party like second rate customers, and if they still treat your bridal party second rate then honestly take your business else where, even if get your bridal party dresses there if they can't treat your friends with the same respect they treat you, you don't want to give that place your business. Again I was treated lovely by the staff, other than the issue with the brides maid dresses sale, which did get resolved after many many phone calls. However this was not the experience my bridal party said they had with the staff and that just wrecks the experience for me as a customer personally. That being said we are all happy with the quality of the products, they have a great range of sizes. What you get is a good value for what you pay, higher prices you get better quality but we did fairly low cost items and I would say the prices are about as good as you are going to get. I have a feeling that given the large amount my dress needs to be altered it is going to be expensive, and I've been having a hard time making an appointment with the alterations department because they tell me I'm altering the dress "to soon" this is nerve wrecking for me as a customer.... I honestly think that if I'm going to change sizes 1 month or 2 weeks isn't going to make a huge difference as someone who has struggled with their weight it takes time to put on weight and it takes time to lose weight. I would be much less likely to change size if I didn't have the stress of this alteration hanging over my head longer than necessary.

Had an incredible experience, from the moment I walked in for my appointment. Was greeted promptly by Rosie, who asked me for some details on my upcoming day, and what styles I liked. I LOVED that they had the dresses available in a wide range of plus sizes. I was terrified I wasn't going to be able to try on dresses, but this wasn't the case, at all! Through the whole process Rosie was fantastic. My only downside to the day, was the place was PACKED. Bridesmaids there looking for dresses, upcoming grads, etc. It was very difficult to get a good look at the dresses I was trying on, as I was dodging so many people. I ended up having to leave due to a time constraint, and come back, but they were fantastic at accommodating me same day. The second time I was in, the store was much quieter, I was able to say with confidence I found my dress. My 4 bridesmaids had to all share one change room, the shop felt really busy, and we kind of just felt like “another number”. Also had a stylist take one of the dresses we pulled off our rack and give it to someone else before we had a chance to try it. Couldn’t get a fabric swatch for the dresses we bought. Not my favourite experience in comparison to other bridal shops in the city.

Wedding dresses) online or curb side pick up, I thought this process was going to be a nightmare! She was so polite, and patient with me in helping me. Honestly....Amanda nailed it, hands down! She helped me stay within my budget...and even though I haven't had my alterations done...I trust they will do as good of a job as Amanda and her customer service! Amanda helped me with the sizing of the dress to the slip and corset. I can't say anything bad. She truly is the only one that I give the credit to the 5 stars! Most of my experiences with David’s have been really great! I bought my wedding dress from them, and they’ve been super helpful. Was a bit disappointed with our bridesmaid appt last night, because although the customer service was great and the staff was friendly, I made an appointment for five bridesmaids, and when we arrived, we only had one changeroom (which I didn’t really understand because there was hardly anyone in the store, but we were told we could only use the one). Part of why we had everyone altogether trying on bridesmaid dresses was so I could get a better idea of what all the dresses look like together, but that was next to impossible with all my girls only having the one changeroom. I would have preferred to have been told that they didn’t have room for us that night and to instead have been booked in on a night where we had at least two or three changerooms to use!

I went to David’s Bridal in Winnipeg on Kenaston and had the most amazing experience! I went there with my wedding being only 4 months away so it was very rushed. At this point I had already been to multiple other stores and had a favourite in mind and did not think I would select anything. Karen was our consultant and she quickly changed that. It had been a long day so we did not pull many dresses but she sure did. Karen listened to exactly what I said I wanted and pulled the most amazing dress for me which I ended up saying yes to!! She was so polite, kind, I did not feel pressure to buy, she allowed my family and I time to discuss alone and most of all she followed the COVID rules which allowed us a very safe and pleasant experience. Not only did Karen find my dream dress, but she also found my maid of honours and my mother’s!! Karen is absolutely amazing at what she does and I can’t say enough good things about her. My bridesmaids and I made an appointment to visit David's bridal on a Friday night (last time slot) not really knowing what to expect as we heard mixed reviews. Staff were very welcoming but I immediately felt they were overwhelmed, which was surprising given it was 730pm. They did not ask what I had in mind or help narrow down our search, although the selection wasn't great in my opinion. We picked out a handful of dresses, I tried them on and just didn't find what I was looking for. This is to no one's fault, it just wasn't the quality I expected but the prices were very reasonable. Staff helping me had one or two other brides to look after and she was running back and forth between us. The experience wasn't personable but definitely think it could have been better if the store had more people working. This could have just been a bad night for them as I have seen alot of good reviews, but unfortunately mine isn't a positive one. I found my dress elsewhere a few days later and had an amazing experience! Everyone's expectations, perspectives and opinions will differ, this was mine. Best of luck

It was a go and I needed to find the dress. It was easy to book an online next day appointment which I was very thankful for. While I was trying on the dresses she actually made a few phones to see if she could get my size and color in time for the wedding. After I came out of the change room she told me what she did and it was a yes to get the dress. I was over the moon and so happy as I was having such a hard time finding a bridemaids dress. After arriving for my appointment, I had to wait almost 20 minutes before the consultant even saw me. The woman who helped me was very nice, but I felt pressured into ordering my dress within a day or two to make sure I could get my dress in time for my wedding. I was explicitly Told that if I didn’t order that weekend I won’t have it in time. David’s was the first place I looked, and while I did find a dress I liked, I had only tried on 3-4 dresses and wanted a week to go check out a few other places. I ended up ordering the dress out of pressure, only to find out it would arrive 2 months before my wedding, and I could have had time to explore other options. Of the few dresses I tried, she helped with the first one, and didn’t really come back until I was in my last one, which is the one I liked. It wasn’t very busy, but the staff were busy chatting with each other. Additionally, I was being pressured into buying a boustier that just would not fit. I have a specialty cup size, and increasing the rib size so that the cup sizes will be bigger and “fit better”, is not the way to get into a proper bra. EVER. I know that all the sales consultants want to make bigger sales, and probably get credit for selling multiple items per sale, but talking a bride into improperly sized under garments is not the way to do it. You could be taking advantage of someone who doesn’t know any better. When my dress comes in, I will be getting my alterations done somewhere else.

We went for my sister's bridal gown fitting. The staff were nice but overall it wasn't the best experience. My sister ordered her dress in a bigger size (that fit her waist) but the staff didn't tell us that the neckline would change. The bigger size had a lot of extra fabric that changed the look of the dress altogether. It seems as though the alteration team has it under control but still not very impressed. Not to mention the cost of the alterations... Would recommend going elsewhere.

Buying my dress was a pretty good experience. Lots of variety with styles, prices, and sizes. However, my problems were with the very sales driven employees and being mislead with my alterations. I felt like I was being pushed or steered towards items I couldn't afford or didnt want. Even though I had mentioned I didnt want to be shown those items. When i purchased my dress i was informed i "needed" to order in an extra long. And that if it needed to be hemmed it would be fairly inexpensive. Hemming was $171.00. I would reccomend buying your dress at David's, but bring your backbone and be prepared to find a good seamstress.

I brought all of my bridesmaids in on a Saturday afternoon to find them dresses. We expected the store to be very busy but it was quieter than we expected which was great! That being said, with 6 bridesmaids it was still a little crazy! Dana was helping us and the reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there was some confusion where my ladies understood that Dana was telling us that a few dresses we liked came in short styles as well as long, but we were later told that they did not in fact come in short styles. Two of my ladies were also very disappointed when we got all the way to the cash register only to realize that the dress they had chosen would not be able to arrive in time for the wedding. Mercedes was very sweet and helpful and helped them choose another similar dress. Overall it was a good experience but we still had a few disappointments!

She was very attentive and really understood what style we where looking for. We where pleasantly surprised at the great selection of plus size dresses available at your bridal shop. It's great to see David's recognizes the importance of that! After trying on many dresses, we where tired and calling it a day... Then Karen found one more that we had somehow missed. When my daughter came out of the room wearing that dress- Wow she looked stunning & we knew that was the dress!! I Wanted to especially thank Karen for finding that incredible dress but mostly for her patience and genuine kindness. It was an emotional and unforgettable day. Thanks for making it so special!

I went to David’s Bridal with the expectation I wasn’t going to get the “Say Yes to the Dress” experience, which is fine. I left feeling anxious, as though I wanted to get out of there right away. Immediarelt it felt impersonal. The staff asked you to look at dresses then they would find the one in your size for you. It took them awhile to come back and help because they were at capacity. The selection was underwhelming, which was unexpected. When we went to the change rooms; the rooms were small and when I came out there was barely any room to walk or look in the mirror - SO many people! The woman helping me had too much going on and didn’t really have enough time to give attention to each of the brides she was assisting. All the staff were friendly, but it was too busy for them. I didn’t receive much help as she was running around bride to bride, literally running to get dresses off the rack, and didn’t have time to give my appointment any thought. Dresses also needed to be cleaned and mended. By the end of the whole appointment I just wanted to get out of there. I didn’t have high expectations to begin with and they barely reached them. I would give David’s Bridal a hard pass mainly due to the poor experience. Only plus is the variety of sizes they have in every dress.

WORST BRIDAL EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! we had an appointment booked. 45min later they finally had my sister in a fitting room. the consultant ( or shall i say what consultant) was never to be found. the customer service was HORRIBLE!!. my mom and i had to help my sister get into the dresses and help her at the mirror. the manager assured us she would take over. which she never did. The dress selection is absolutely crappy. after this so called appointment we headed to LA Collection dress shop! Amazing AMAZING customer service very personable there.. treating her like a true Bride

I found my perfect gown there. Sophia was very helpful. I got compliments and advise on every look. One thing: it was so crowded that day that I had to wait for my appointment for about half an hour and it was hard to find a space in front of the main mirror, so I got to try dresses on just using mirrors on the changing room doors. Compared to other bridal shops I felt more like a number instead of a person as they have so many changerooms and people coming and going all around you. It wouldn't have been a very special experience had I found "the one" as I had to constantly move around people to see myself in the mirror. They didn't have anything close to my size (size 12) even though their supposed to have most dresses in every size, so for some dresses I wanted to try on I was shown a size 4 which wouldn't fit over my thighs. The dresses didn't feel as quality as other shops but the prices were still on the higher size considering. All in all, it might definitely work for some people but I did not enjoy the experience. The sales lady was very helpful and did her best though, and was very pleasant.

Just visited David's Bridal in Winnipeg late this afternoon. I was shopping for a mother of the bride dress. Karen assisted me by asking all the right questions and finding me tons of options. I finally narrowed it down to 2 dresses and ended up buying both. All sales people should be as knowledgeable and pleasant as Karen!!

I went in to look at wedding and bridesmaid dresses on Friday. We were greeted by Liz and she was fantastic! I didn't have an appointment but she still took the time to take measurements and explain the layout of the store . She then had Munya help us with our bridesmaid selection . I proceeded to book a bridal appointment for Saturday. I came back on Saturday and was paired with Rosie. Unfortunately , she was tied up with an unscheduled group so while my appointment was for 6, Rosie didn't get to me until just after 630. However, not once during my appointment did I feel rushed , pressured or ignored. She was great! I'm a larger women and she just seemed to know what would work. She also humored my daughter's request to have me try on a poofy dress. I ended up finding my dress ! I would absolutely recommend that if you are looking for a dress, make sure to check out David's Bridal . Now, why not 5 stars? I have 2 small complaints. One is that when we were looking at bridesmaid dresses, we picked one up off the clearance rack . When the girl told us that we'd have to wait several weeks for the dress to come in , I questioned it because the dress was on the clearance rack . My comment was scoffed at . My second issue would be that when someone makes an appointment and a large group shows up and monopolizes the time of the stylist, the stylist should be able to remove herself from the unscheduled group in order to give the bride with the appointment her entire appointment time.

I ended up buying my wedding dress here awhile back but the experience was not the best. I tried on some dresses and the experience was ok. I wanted to try a dress online that was discontinued but it wasn’t in the store. They said I could have the dress shipped in from another province to the store to try on. So I paid for the shipping. They never notified me when it came in. I thought it was taking awhile so I called to check and they said it was in already but they forgot to call me. I went in to try it on and I liked it but it had a stain and the pocket was ripped a bit. So I wasn’t sure if I wanted to buy it. They offered me a small discount but I wasn’t sure yet because of needing to get it fixed and dry cleaned. I asked if I could have it held for one day to think it over. They said no….even though I paid for it to be shipped there. They were really pressuring me to make the decision right then. I ended up saying yes and I do love the dress but my experience with the store was not great overall.

My experience was great. During my first appointment I picked a dress but after sleeping on my choice I decided it was not the right one for me. Olivia helped me during both appointments. She was extremely helpful and understanding. I’m quite picky and indecisive and she was very patient and helpful. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the styles and although she had one other Client during my first appointment she made it a point to be attentive to both our needs. rachel helped me pick a graduation dress, her suggestions were awesome. she was really friendly and helpful, especially since i wasn't completely sure of what i wanted. i ended up purchasaing one of the dresses rachel had suggested. the dress prices were really good and the selection was pretty good as well, some of the dresses were available in multiple colours, but they didn't have them out on display. ask for rachel if you're going here!!

Extremely unhappy with alterations and they will not refund and only fix their mistakes. You have to pay in full for alterations before they even start on them and the communication from that department is very poor. Not only was it hard to get them to understand what I wanted for alterations but they couldn't even fully understand when I was telling them my bridesmaid would be picking my dress up for me and they gave her the run around and said it was gone. If I could give zero stars I would. There are more selections in better stores and even better communication for alterations elsewhere. Please shop around ladies. You deserve better when shopping for your wedding dress.

I tried the display dress in store ...fit like a glove, so when I purchased it I didn’t even think about looking at the size that was on the bill, after a month and a half later is when I picked my dress up i knew it would fit like the display so I didn't bother trying it on until just last week (I picked it up in mid April) well didn’t fit that’s when I realized it was the wrong size with the help of my friend who was with me confirmed that was wrong as well so I knew I wasn’t going crazy. Went in today and explained the situation (I was in panic mode at this point and ready for a fight) but Olivia who helped me was calm and said she would call the warehouse to see if they had the size I needed. Sure enough they did and we did a straight exchange and it will be in on time of my wedding. My stress level went down considerably. I would recommend Davids Bridal in a heart beat. Very professional and very understanding. Thank you for making my experience with your company fun and pleasant.

I went here to purchase a bridesmaid dress. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, however, instead of fitting me properly, they kept bringing be sizes too big and pinning them so that once ordered I would be forced to make alterations. Most of the dresses here were all the same. They varied in length and styles at the top, but the general shape, all remained the same. Reminds me of new houses being built, where the windows and doors are on opposite sides but its really just the same box. I would recommend looking at different places first before coming here.

Davids bridal in Winnipeg was absolutely amazing tonight! We arrived for an alteration appt for my daughter's graduation dress and found out that the alterations couldn't be done. The staff immediately kicked into gear and took control of the situation and immediately walked my daughter to the dresses to start shopping to find her a new grad dress. Rosie helped her pick out some dresses and got her started in the fitting room. Over the next two hours Rosie was amazing at asking questions and picking out colours and styles my daughter might like. As the store came to closing time we were down to decision time on a few dresses and I was concerned about time. The staff told us not to worry about that. Once she had chosen her new dress we walked over to the front desk and met with Amanda the manager. She explained that they would return my daughter first dress and we would purchase the new one. I thanked her profusely. The staff and management went above and beyond for myself and my daughter! Thank you so much to Rosie (for the night off the front desk) and to Amanda for your understanding in this matter! We arrived worried then deflated and then flying higher than the stars! I had many appointments with David's as I have purchased my wedding dress & 6 bridesmaids dresses through them. My visits were inconsistent. Some staff were extremely helpful & funny while, another associate didn't measure properly & suggested going up a size in dress for both my mother & sister. Now my sister was the original model & was measured, so she knew what size she was & not what the associate suggested. My mother on the other hand didn't, so her dress needs alterations. Overall with the majority of the dresses, everything went smoothly, including ones outside of the province.

This was the most anxiety-filled experience I've had. I have been to a lot of bridal salons in Winnipeg and have never seen anything as disorganized as David's Bridal in my life. I booked an appointment for four bridesmaids to try on dresses. We got there and no one was ready to help us so we helped ourselves and then snagged the last three rooms available. 20 minutes later, our consultant showed up and told us that they designate one room per appointment. So FOUR bridesmaids had to share ONE fitting room. And this was the case for every group there. So imagine almost every dressing room filled with multiple people-- chaos and WAY over crowded. A few others made comments about how stressful it was. I understand Saturdays are busy, but I see no point in why I booked an appointment and mentioned the number of bridesmaids if they all had to jam into a single room anyways. May as well have walked in off the street without a reso. Next, our consultant kept disappearing without explanation. In addition to being super late, she didn't ask anything about colours or what we were looking for. Then, she tried to tell one of my bridesmaids to "go for it anyways" with a purple dress, right after we told her we were looking for gray. Clearly not invested in our experience or listening to what we described. We were pointed in the direction of the "David's dresses" that come in all 60 of the colours. A few girls found dresses they liked, and AFTER were told they only come in four colours. Then, when we finally found a dress that one bridesmaid liked from the 60-coloured section but it was in purple we were informed "you can't order this dress", even though she was watching and knew we wouldn't want purple (see last complaint). She said they could try and ship it from another store, but we would have to pay the shipping-- even if the dress came in and was in poor condition. Coming from Stella's bridal experience to this was like going from Earls to McDonalds. Very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and "care" that they put into their clients. Honestly, wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. Customer service- 1/10 Environment- 0/10 Store organization- 6/10

Karen was so amazing, she made me feel very comfortable and at ease when trying on dresses, rather than the stress and pressure I expected from wedding dress shopping. I was very lucky in the fact that the second dress I tried on ended up being The One, but it was mostly thanks to Karen and Amanda taking the time to ask me questions about what I liked, what I didn't like, taking my accurate body measurements, and understanding my body shape. They were even able to tell just by the look on my face that the dress I came out it was truly the one I was meant to wear on my big day. Once I had decided on the dress, Karen outfitted me with a few accessories (veil, belt and shoes) to whole the outfit, and she knew just what to pick so it wasn't too much. Once I had the accessories, they had the alteration specialist come out to tack up the bustle so I would be able to see what it looked like, to ensure that for every part of my day, I looked the way I wanted it to. At the end, one I had decided on my outfit, and I was out of the dress, I was able to pick out a set of earrings and a bracelet that matched with my veil belt and shoes (that I decided to purchase, with no pressure to even look at) and my outfit for my wedding day was complete. Over all, I am more than happy with how the whole experience. There was zero pressure from anyone there to buy anything that day, and all and all it was an amazing day that I will never forget. Thank you so much to all the ladies who helped me out! I would definitely recommend David's Bridal to anyone looking a dress for their Big Day, or even for their grad or any fancy party. They made a point of saying twice that it had to be picked up a week from when we got a phone call. We picked up the dress, it wasn't steamed. Totally wrinkled. This is a 250.00 flower girl dress. They should be embarrassed. I will never recommend davids bridal or buy from there again. I am so glad we found the brides dress at another shop.

Wanted to get alterations done here, called and spoke with a seamstress.... I told her I bought my wedding gown from Ukraine in Europe. She made me an appointment so that they could do the alterations and try and find a lace that would match my dress. I got to David's bridal and the lady asked where my dress was from.. I told her Ukrainian. She told me that it is there policy to only alter their own dresses. I told her that they said they would do it. And she said they couldn't. It completely wasted my time. The lady was a unhelpful and a *, completely rude, and wouldn't even give me a name of a place that would fix it for me. I wouldn't go here

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and works really hard to make everyone feel comfortable! Most things can be bought off the rack, but they're more than happy to make a special order if it's not in stock, and they usually come in much sooner than promised. Great selection in all sizes! There's also in-house alterations, so you can expect a perfect fit. Be sure to make an appointment, especially if going in on the weekend.

Our consultant Karen was extremely helpful, kind and accommodating, as the wedding we were there for was in a few short months and we weren’t able to travel back to the city again for alterations. She was able to pull dresses that we never would have chosen off the hanger to try on, and our group ended up buying the 3 dresses that she found for the bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride. I went to "David's Bridal" in search of a Bridesmaid dress. My BFF isn't really picky, and she gave the other bridesmaids and myself a short list of requirements and we were told to have fun. After going to multiple stores in which all were misses "David's Bridal" was very refreshing! I was greeted promptly and asked a variety of questions about the dress I was looking for and then shown to the appropriate section of the store. The gowns were organized by style number; each dress came in several sample colours and sizes. I am a little larger and previously having to try on either a size 20 and have it clamped shut or a size 10 which gaped open and made me feel very self conscientious in, it was a nightmare; however the multiple sizes gave me much needed confidence, and a better understanding of what the dress would look like (seriously they had 5-10 of the same dress in different sizes and colours)!!!! My consultant let me take pictures to send to the bride and get her opinion on, she was very understanding as I changed back and forth between 2 dresses multiple times, and even brought in bling to help complete the look. In the end I ended up picking a dress from the clearance area, it fits perfectly, is in pristine condition, only requires minor and normal alterations, and is spot on with what my friend is looking for. Regardless of where you live in the Winnipeg area, this is a must go spot for the savvy shopper.

We had an appointment to look for a mother of the groom dress and no one assisted us for 20 minutes. I had to go and ask for someone. I thought if you book an appointment you were going to be given someone to help you. We basically stopped one of the staff who passed by to help us, while doing that another person came and announced she will be helping us today. The person who assisted us was very helpful although she was very busy and kept being called away. She ws very friendly and encouraged us in our search. We found a dress. The store however was very chaotic and didn't create the atmosphere you hoped to have for a bridal store and one requesting you book an appointment.

I got married this past spring and David's Bridal was the first bridal shop I went to. When I first got there, the staff was nice. They got me a fitting room and got me to find some dresses to try on and it went downhill after that. The lady who was supposed to be helping me, was also helping another lady at the time, which was fine, but after I got in the fitting room she pretty much ignored me. The other bride and myself were the only customers in the store but no one came to help me while my consultant ignored me. As soon as the other bride left (after a long time of me standing there, waiting to be helped) the consultant finally came to "help" me again. This consultant was SO pushy and tried to sell me every dress I tried on, even when I obviously disliked it. When I finally found a dress that I liked quite a lot, she was so pushy and made me feel like I had to buy it right that minute. I did decide to buy it, because liked it quite a lot, I just wanted to time to think about it, as it would be the most important dress of my life. She then measured me and told me I measured to a size 1. (which is what I wear with most clothes) I didn't look at what number she actually wrote down, but when the ordered dress arrived it was almost as big as the one that I had tried on the first time around, which was a size 8!!! There is no way the dress she ordered was a size 1! So then I had to get almost $800 worth of alterations! I had to have 2 appointments for alterations because they didn't get it right the first time around and after the second appointment they had made the waist too tight but I didn't have time to get it loosened and ended up having to wear a SUPER tight dress all day on my wedding! I ended up with a dress but it was a horrible experience overall. I do not recommend David's Bridal to any Brides.

The manager Amanda is an angel!!!! I have lost too much weight dropping 3 dress sizes rendering my dress useless and needing to order another dress which would arrive 2 weeks before my wedding. I recently tried on and purchased a bridesmaid dress at David's Bridal. In the store, I tried on a size 8 dress and it fit perfectly. After choosing the dress I wanted, I was measured and told I should purchase a size 16. I told them that I had been trying on size 8's and the stylist repeatedly said I was wrong and refused to write down that I needed a size 8. When I was doing the final ordering I was able to order a size 8, but was shamed by two stylists who said that it wouldn't fit and that I shouldn't deny my size. The dress came in yesterday in a size 8 and it fits perfectly, no need for alterations. I'm convinced that they encourage incorrect sizing to try and make the customer pay for ridiculous alterations. Love the dress, but the staff was rude and unhelpful.

Alex, my first consultant was wonderful! She was so attentive, and had the right eye for my wide, but petite frame. I cried in excitement when I found the one. I didn’t get then dress but kept thinking about it. I went back a second time. This time Charlene was my consultant, she was just as amazing! She made my maid of honour and I feel awesome. My maid of honour ended up finding a dress almost immediately with the help of Charlene. I ended up crying a second time. I am happy to have purchased my dress with David’s Bridal Update: although I had an awesome experience with the consults, the seamstress was awful! I had a strapless dress. She was not polite and was very persistent on me getting straps, which is not what i wanted. She wouldnt drop the subject so i told her if she makes them detachable, i would get them. She dodnt not make them detachable. She also molded my cups which is also not what i wanted. It is what she wanted. My dress is ruined. I would have taken the straps off but thr molding of the cup was so ugly shaped i had to keep them on. What a waste of money and type of dress. I dont even want to show my wedding pictures because of the ugly strap dress that was made to be strapless dress. So… consult and buying dresses here is nice. Just get the alterations somewhere else. My bridesmaids did not enjoy their experience with her either

I went dress shopping this past week to find my wedding dress and David’s Bridal did not disappoint! I was lucky enough to be there first thing in the morning during the week so we almost had the store entirely to ourselves. Alex was there helping every step of the way and was so great at her job! Zero stars should be an option! My sister went to David's Bridal to look for her wedding dress and it was the most awful experiance ever! First off, we had booked an appointment and showed up 5 minutes early. We told them we were there for our time slot and one of the girls tells us that they don't have time for us right then and asks us to wait. We had an appointmnet, how do you not have time for your appointment? So we sit down thinking we'd be waiting for about 5 minutes but NOPE! 45 minutes later she tells us we can come in! THERE WERE 3 GIRLS STANDING BEHIND A DESK TEXTING AND GIGGLING FOR 45 MINUTES AND YOU DIDN'T HAVE TIME?!?!?! We eventually get to a change room and my sister picks a few dresses to try on. The sales girl helped her into the first one and then walked away to help other people and we were left to help her in and out of dresses and ask her what she did or didn't like. This chick only shows up again once my sister had decided on a dress and then acts like she did all the work! She gives my sister a bell and says "You have to make a wish and ring it for good luck" My sister is a bit shy and didn't want all eyes on her so she said no thank you. The girl tells her if she doesn't then there will be bad luck in her future. WHO SAYS THAT?!?!? This store is so not worth it! If you want a great experiance, STAY AWAY!!!

I went in not knowing what to expect. I had a appointment expecting to be looked after (because you made a appointment), Alex was wonderful, all the ladies greeted me and were very friendly. I did book well in advance to make sure I would get my dress and have any alterations done in time. The store was not busy, and Alex was very good at her job. She listened to me and brought selections that would fit what I was looking for. The reason for 3 stars is the dress and alterations themselves. If I were to ever buy another dress I would probably go in and try on then order the style from Amazon and 1/2 price. The dresses were great but they get you in alterations (don't get me wrong she was fantastic and helped a lot). I found a dress and on the receipt it states "Special Order", now thinking if it is so special should it not be measured for length as well as the usual? When the dress came in there were changes that I wanted to make to it to make it my own (which I have no problem paying extra for), but the hem job at $171.00 on top of everything else was little much. I feel that I could have ordered off of Amazon and got the alterations done at a decent cost, instead of paying double the cost of what I was expecting. As mentioned by a previous review, one of the ladies told Alex to order a size bigger for me but she was smart enough not to. I think they try to get you in the alteration department. I should have shopped around a bit more.

I had the most amazing experience choosing a wedding gown with, Morgan. She was beyond helpful and after a brief conversation and a few different dresses, she knew exactly what I was looking for. I was torn between two dresses and ultimately decided on a different dress during my comeback appointment. I was just there trying on wedding dresses and was so excited this experience left me so disheartened and just overall mad, I was there for an hour and had given her my price range which was not low at all, she proceeded to bring me 5 dresses 2 of which were not the size I said I was she didn’t even try to find anything similar.. she spent more time helping two other people and giving them all her attention then to me a bride.. I was so unbelievably mad.. I thought she was there to help me but didn’t at all.. my maid of honour ended up doing up my dresses and fixing the trains because the consultant was no where to be found. I will not be recommending them to ANYONE!

Came in a little before my appointment and was welcomed by my consultant and given a dressing room right away. They had brought in a size of a specific new dress from a sister store just so I could try it on so I was very grateful for that! Well of course the dress they brought in that I was convinced I would purchase looked terrible on me. I had pulled a couple other dresses to try on to see. My consultant tried to get an idea of what I would like and brought silhouettes flattering to me. I hadn’t told her a budget and one of the dresses I tried on I loved, but was more than I wanted to spend! It was definitely the opposite of the original dress I thought I wanted. I tried on maybe 8 more dresses of similar silhouette but varying style that were less expensive and none of them were quite like the first my consultant had me try on. It was more than I wanted to spend, but they had a sale on plus 10% off of that. She pulled a smaller size in the dress I fell in love with, and it ended up fitting like a glove and I won’t need alterations when my dress comes in! My consultant helped me in and out of every single dress and was cheery and accommodating the entire experience! My mother also tried some dresses on. We ended up spending about 3 hours there! I purchased the dress I fell in love with! I can’t wait to wear it! This David’s Bridal provided a great experience.

I went in just to browse the sale and was lucky enough to end up having her help me try on my first wedding dress. After trying on three different styles she returned with 2 more options - the second dress she brought was perfect and I could not take it off. She really has an eye for pulling dresses that will look great on you and she was so patient while I was trying to decide if it was too early to purchase. Even though we were nearing the store closing time no one made me feel rushed or pressured to make the decision and it ended with a bell ceremony and a lot of tears. I can not thank her enough and am so happy with my dress!

Then Kerri thought we should go outside of our zone into South Winnipeg and try David's Bridal. We were greeted by a young woman (Chrystalle - if I'm spelling it correctly) who was perfect. She helped with suggestions but gave us space to talk. Most importantly, she wasn't concerned how much we were spending, just that we were happy with the dress. And we were! I can't say enough good things about David's Bridal and especially my stylist Laura M! Laura was amazing! She made me feel welcome and made the Bridal experience so much fun! I was nervous going in as I'm not a size 0 bride. Laura took my measurements and pulled dresses that actually fit! The other salon only carried sample size dresses, and none of them fit or even zipped up. The stylist was terrible, and didn't listen or help me at all. When I showed up to my appointment, I was given very little instructions and was told to browse on my own. The lady who was supposed to help me was busy with another client the entire time and was absolutely NO help to me at all. I spent my entire time there searching the store by myself. I had a great experience at David's Bridal! I went back to try on my dress after purchasing it a couple times, and always felt very welcome. They were extremely accommodating and always found time to fit me in. I was helped by Karen, and she was amazing throughout the entire process. She was incredibly helpful and patient with me. I loved my experience here. I went in fully expecting not to find a gown, but I found my wedding dress! Karen and the store manager were so helpful and kind. Even through Covid they made this feel like a normal experience and I was able to really feel like a bride. Davids bridal has such a sweet tradition when you buy your dress there you ring a bell and receive well wishes. It was so genuine even though they did not know me before this day. My family and I cried, and the staff teared up a bit as well. I am a size 14/16, and they had plenty of dresses to try on in my size. I was not limited by size at all, which I was very concerned about. The prices are also not as expensive as other shops in Winnipeg. My sister went to a different wedding dress shop and spent $600 more than I did for a similar level of detail. I would definitely recommend David's Bridal to any bride.

A huge thank you to the wonderful ladies at David's Bridal. Two weeks before my March 30th wedding my custom made dress was not what it was supposed to be and I needed to find a new dress in a hurry. That same night I hustled over to one of the only stores still open and I'm so happy it was David's. I explained by situation and without any hesitation I was quickly set up with Alex who helped me find not just one but two amazing dresses in under an hour; one from the clearance rack which happened to be my dream dress and the other, a beautiful bridesmaid dress for my night before event. The store manager also made sure I was helped to my satisfaction and I was in for alterations the next day. A few days later I found out that our destination wedding had to be postponed but I still got to marry my best friend on March 30th wearing dress #2. The gown will be saved for next year's destination wedding. Thank you David's Bridal for turning such a chaotic situation around. The store is so simply laid out, clean and the staff are amazing! I had been to a couple stores before deciding to get a custom made dress and had a horrible time. This experience was the exact opposite!

My friend (bride-to-be) & I had an appointment to just go in & go through their selection of gowns & were able to try on whatever we wanted but with limited assistance (as we needed to give more notice than same day before we made the appointment). To our delight, the staff were very friendly & very helpful even though they were helping others. In the end, with all the help from the staff from finding a proper garment to a right size & proper fit, the first dress she tried on she fell in love with. Service was great and we chose a good time to go as is wasn't busy in the store so the consultant was able to be very attentive. I just wanted to share my experience at David bridal. I went there for the first time with a group of bridesmaids, trying to find A dress on ( Saturday ). Horrible idea. Was stuffy and just to busy for my liking. Then I decided to give it another chance and go there on a Friday. Well let me tell you, I was very glad I went back because I had the BEST time ever with the sale rep TANYA. She came up to me ask me if I needed help to find a dresses. Asked me every question possible to find the right fit for what I was looking for. She’s amazing lady, brought me some dresses even in the room to try on that was out of my comfort zone and I actually fell in love with one of the dresses and bought it that day. Tanya made the experience so much more relax and enjoyable. I would give her 110% on her costumer service. I actually brought my friend there yesterday for my best friend sister wedding. She needed a bridesmaids dress. I looked around for Tanya and she was there. She helped out my friend ( she’s 32 weeks pregnant ) so you could imagine how you can be Uncomfortable going to a store trying out bridesmaid dresses. Again nope Tanya made her feel confortable and enjoy finding dresses and trying them on. All I have to say is David bridal take care and appreciate your staff because TANYA is a GEM and knows what she’s doing hands down. Thank you so much TANYA.

So this was our first experience ever at David's bridal. We got there and they had our appointment wrong even though I was very clear about looking for "ice blue" bridesmaids dresses. There was no one available to help us. So they told my 8 bridesmaids to look at these posters and find the dress they wanted to try on. They had to remember the number of that dress (about 8 numbers long) and find it in the store... sounds easy right? Nope. None of the numbers were in order! So we had 8 girls wandering around trying to find a specific number of a dress. We couldnt even find most of the numbers! Then once we found a few dresses to try on, they gave us 1 fitting room. Yes 1... For 8 people. That means that 3 girls squished in at a time so we were not there for 4 hours! Someone finally came to "help" us but she kept leaving and we had no idea what was going on. There was no privacy. As soon as we walked out of the dressing room it was chaos. There were 20 other girls trying on wedding dresses and we all had to use the same mirror. All in all, I would say try to find a smaller store, but unfortunately we travelled from 2.5 hours away and this is where we had the appointment.

She was so much fun and made the experience less intimidating than it could have been--especially given my wedding is only 4 months away! I left feeling very encouraged about the whole process. They had many off-the-rack options which was also very convenient. My only complaint is that the instructions for how many people who could accompany you wasn't clearly stated. One of my party had to wait outside and then switch half way through.

I was at the shop today looking at dresses, I had an apt and Karen helped me out today. The experience was unbelievable, I had gone to 4 other salons previously and did not receive anything similar to this experience. Right from the moment i walked in the door i felt important, Karen asked about my wedding and my vision. She showed interest in what i felt insecure about with regards to my shape and made sure to keep that in mind with gowns that were pulled. I honestly had not expected to find a wedding dress today, i was convinced i would have to go to another city where the selections are bigger. I booked a bridal appointment and when I met my consultant was warned that she was also working with another bride. Which is totally fine but everytime I walked with a dress in I couldn't find her. Then the store manager came over to and she was super nice and helpful. But their dressing room area is ridiculous. There's not enough mirror space or places for your people to sit so they end up being totally in the way. All in all I would say there was no point to me making an appointment and I wouldn't go back.

My entire experience start to finish was amazing. Olivia was fabulous at helping both myself and my wedding party find our dresses (even with me on crutches). Everything arrived when expected. The tailoring staff discovered an issue with my wedding dress hem when I went for my first fitting (stressful!!); however, they dealt with it quickly and efficiently. The Assistant Manager (?Lisa) called the warehouse to find a replacement and placed a rush order. The new one arrived in perfect condition. They fit me in within a few days for a fitting and I was able to pick it up today! There were a couple of small things that needed adjustment and Jacquie made the changes while I waited. I also loved that the Adjustment Team made suggestions based on their extensive experience-it made all the difference! Including having built in bra cups put in my corset-backed dress...instead of having to fight with a bustier! Much more comfortable and just as effective. Everyone has been pleasant, helpful, and lovely to work with! Thank you!

I went in for a last minute appointment and David's bridal was very accommodating. There process was great, they had me looking at dresses right away, then measured me and got me the proper undergarments. The down fall was they were super under staffed, the lady that was helping me was helping two or three other people at the same time, so my party had to help me in and out of dresses. This was not the associates fault, she was really wonderful and helpful, just super busy.

I went shopping for my bridal dress, and David's was my first stop. I made an appointment for first thing when they opened, which I highly recommend. There was barely anyone in the store, and I had the undivided attention of the saleswoman helping me (Karen). She was very helpful getting in and out of each dress and grabbing accessories as I asked for them, very very helpful and friendly. Also, I had really landed on one dress that I was thinking of buying. I had a few more appointments that day to go to, but the sales manager said that in addition to the 10% off the store was having for bride dresses, they would knock another 10% off if I decided that day. I know it was a bit of a push, but it wasn't done in a pushy way, I appreciated the offer. The ONLY criticism I have is that I found their selection to be quite limited compared to the next place that I went to. 7th Avenue Fashions had a lot more dresses to try, but I thought the service at David's was a touch better, for what it's worth :)

I loved my consultant Olivia, Davids Bridal was our third and final stop. They let us pull dresses before we headed to the fitting room, once in the fitting area I found it very crowded and chaotic. The dressing room beside me and I were sharing mirror space and constantly crossing paths. Once I had a dress on finding my entourage in the crowds was tough, and I felt like I shouldn't be a mirror hog-even though I had an appointment... It felt like my consultant was being pulled in 8 different direction and when I was ready to accecorize and say yes to the dress I felt like I was looking for someone to help me. Not as personal as other stores. Would've appreciated a one on one consultant attention rather than her also assisting walk in clients. Olivia found exactly what I was looking for and knew her inventory quite well. Thanks for helping me find the perfect dress!

I came with confidence expecting I'll be getting a service that will assist me with every little details of dresses for my Maids of Honor. However, I was rather disappointed. I had my appointment at 3, I wasn't accommodated until hald an hour later. The consultant didn't ask what my wedding theme was, price range, and type of designs I prefer. I showed her pictures of what I'd like. Instead, she handed me dresses that are the exact opposite. She didn't give any advice or other recommendations. I also felt I was rushed. I was looking at other ladies trying on their dresses and their consultants were right by there side & talking them through. I don't deserve to be given a service especially if it'a part of a major event of my life.

I had an appointment set during the day on a Tuesday. There was barely anyone else in the shop and that made a huge difference. I met with Karen at the Keneston location in Winnipeg and she was AMAZING. Right from the beginning she was extremely helpful and very sensitive and realistic. She did my measurements and made no comments about size. My group and myself picked dresses we liked from the showroom and Karen brought them back and started with my favourites. She helped me get all the dresses on and was so so helpful. I would recommend making an appointment with her if she’s available. I found a dress that I loved but was convinced I needed to shop around as it was a bit pricier than I had hoped and this was the first store I had looked at. We went to some other shops and ended up coming back at the end of the day to try the dress on one more time. I met with Giulia as Karen was gone for the day. She did not help me put the dress on but did help me do it up. I was concerned about the amount of crinoline and she helped me see what the dress would be like with less. She was also helpful. I ended up buying the dress that day and was told it would only be 10 weeks until the dress was in. One thing that was disappointing is you have to buy a bag for the dress if you want one. Overall, it was a great experience.

I was rapidly becoming disheartened because the size I gave her (which was my regular size) none of the gowns were fitting. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at David's Bridal. From the moment myself and my bridesmaids walked in the doors, the customer service was poor. I had called a double days ahead to confirm I could bring the number of bridesmaids I had, and on the phone it was confirmed I could, however when we got there two of my bridesmaids had to wait outside in the car while we shopped. For the 5 who were able to try on dresses, we were only given 1 dressing room (due to covid they said), however two of my bridesmaid were allowed to try on dresses in one dressing room? We also had to seek out someone to help us out half way through the appointment. When we left, not one of their 20 staff on site at that time took the time to say Thank you or Bye have a nice day. All in all, it was a very poor experience and I wouldn't recommend David's Bridal for any first time brides.

Did a Monday evening appointment which was great as only ones in the shop. The woman helping me was great personable and knew great ways to make adjustments to get the lol I liked. Not as high quality as some other dress stores I’ve been to but the prices reflect that as the prices are much more reasonable. You get what you pay for. They do have great veils and belts though for a great price, so even if I don’t get my dress there I may end up getting my veil and some accessories there.

Alexandra was awesome! I had no idea what style of wedding dress I wanted. She gave good suggestions and options for me to try on. She was very calm, encouraging and patient with me through the whole process. Overall, all the staff I came in contact with were very friendly and approachable!

staff was very helpful with fitting, there to help zip you up and offered opinion on style. Even let me use a strapless corset to try on the dresses with. Lots of larger sizes available in different styles so you can actually get a good idea of how it will look and fit!

Karen was very kind and helped me find my perfect wedding dress. I went on a Sunday and it was VERY busy; but staff were still attentive and helpful. Beautiful dresses with a wide range or prices. Went on a Sunday looking for a wedding dress (had booked an appointment in advance). It was pretty busy, but the staff was still very attentive. Reann helped us out and provided lots of dresses in the styles I liked, also helped finding the right accessories to go with the dress :)

I am so happy I went to David’s Bridal for my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. The staff was so helpful, especially the manager Mandee. Covid-19 added a new level of stress but I was so lucky to have Mandee looking out for the dresses and updating me and assuring me that they would be in. It’s a great place to shop and they made me feel very comfortable. Mandee took my vision of what I wanted for my wedding dress and found exactly what I was looking for!
