We used Andaaz for our daughters wedding, and although the staff is sweet and nice, the work was sub par. There were 13 people who went and had outfits made, and only one outfit came back after alterations without a problem. Some people (myself included ) had to come back for numerous fittings as the outfits were not fitting according to their measurement Although the measurements were taken at the time, the outfits did not fit properly, and the sewing job was sloppy, and not accurate. The wedding bangles purchased, had gems falling off of them right from the box, and we had taken them in 2 times already, and had to go in a 3rd time, the day of the wedding to have them fixed. The bridesmaids bangles that we had ordered almost 9 months prior, came in a week before and not the right colour, they worked okay but were not what we had asked for.
The people working there are so very sweet and nice, and I feel they do try.... but I feel they need more help and a better system for serving customers and documenting their measurements with much more accuracy There should also be follow through as to when the outfits will be done. Several people went in with the date of completion being told to them, but their outfits were not altered at all. I believe the seamstress needs to be more mindful on the finishing touches and needs to be more diligent to do a job on an outfit that can be worn again ( not a one time thing ) as the stitching came out on a few outfits that night. It is a busy
store, but customer service goes as long way, and hiring more staff, and taking people in the order they arrive, would be a good suggestion for a better experience all around.
As I said in the beginning, they are really nice people, but they would do a better service to people if they had more staff and a more accurate seamstress
thanks Sheila
